Lara was adopted by a prestigious lot. Her mother was a very famous doctor, and her father, a Businessman. Her life was streamlined. She didn't have to worry about much and she usually had other people doing her work for her. This caused her to grow up with a somewhat superlative personality. Her father was often jetting off across the world, so most of her time was spent with her mother, and with time, Lara began to idolize her. She was determined to 'grow up to be a hot-shot doctor like her mother'. After gaining her master's degree and finishing medical school at the top of her class, she worked as a doctor in the emergency ward of Mercy White Hospital, Bloomsberry, London. Eventually being promoted chief physician by 29, a year before being assigned unto Lemuria to examine the effects of long-term exposure of the human body to deep sea PRESSURE. Lara has a strict workout regime, because of her mother. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind she always said.
Personality
At a casual level, Lara has an upbeat and somewhat motherly personality. Choosing to take care of things for others. Put more purely, she trusts very few people, with very few things and would much rather do them herself. She is almost always seen with a constant smile. The smile isn't necessarily real, but she has learnt that it usually calms patients down to see a friendly face. And most people would see her as that. Due to this, people usually get comfortable around her and her politeness can easily make someone do what she wants through simply asking nicely enough. This, isn't unintentional. She knows she has this quality, and she isn't afraid to use. She, however, isn't some manipulative vixen. She truly cares for the people around her, she just seems to treat them like children more than anything.
Lara can be selfless to a fault. Sometimes it's easier to just close her eyes and jump into danger for another person, than when it benefits her.
