Kou has quite the youthful appearance, having a slim, feminine body and a delicate countenance that earned him his overwhelming popularity with the opposite side as well as his former job as a model for the sorcerer magazine. He appears to be somehow attached to jewellery, using earrings in both his ears and often changing then besides continuously wearing a ring on his right middle finger. Despite that, he often wears casual clothing that pass the impression of hardly caring for what he wears.
His guild mark is located over his right hand.

Kou is known to be extremely cheeky and easygoing, being able to easily interact with pretty much anyone as long as he feels that it would be interesting to do so and hardly showing anything that slightly resembles discomfort or awkwardness. He is quite the flirt, albeit rarely being serious about his teasing, and often acts with the sole objective of making others flustered in a way fitting for his reputation as a scoundrel. He also appears to hardly hold the other party position as important, talking in the same informal way with anyone and hardly showing any special respect for someone.
On the opposite of what is suggested by the behaviour he often assumes, Kou is surprisingly sharp and possess an intelligence away higher than the norm, having quite the cold side under all the irreverent behaviour. While he often appear to be uncaring for others when assuming his "true self", he is surprisingly attached to the few people he really considers as friends or family, going to the point of being extremely ruthless whenever one of them is in danger, as he fears losing his friends and family above everything else. For the same reason, he appears to be scared of involving himself in serious relationships, as he fears that developing feelings for someone would just expose him to more danger.

Biography:
Kou's exact past is quite the recurrent doubt amongst his friends and fellow sector members, as, according to himself, he suffers from amnesia. His first memory is, in fact, wandering away by the streets of Margaret Town, without anything but the robes that covered his body and the monstrosity that parasited the right side of his body, a demon that was slowly eating away his body. At the same day, he was found by the Lamia Scale's former guild master, that took him in to his "family" and guided him in the ways of magic, giving him the power to survive and change his fate.
While he was indeed shrouded by a somehow mysterious past, Kou's life was surprisingly easy from the day he found his benefactor onwards, as he joined his guild after being announced as the former guild master 12 years old nephew most of the members didn't even try to question him about his past and actually started considering him a part of their family, giving him a familiar environment that made him develop a strong sense of belonging to the guild. He came to live the next four years training in the guild and occasionally doing minor missions, generally accompanied by older members, till he finally managed to attain the rank A at the age of 16, being considered a prodigy amongst his peers and gaining the approval of his benefactor to travel alone for a time, as he wanted since a young age.
Kou returned to the guild from his travelling a year after this specific day, stronger than ever and with a new form for his magic. He started to behave in a more playful way at the same time, deciding to move to crocus in the following year, after attaining his position as a S ranked mage.
In Crocus Kou lived quite the carefree life, earning all his funds from his job as a model for the sorcerer magazine and slowly training his powers. He lived like that for about a year and half, earning his epithet as The Devilish Prince, quite the amount of fame amongst the female mages and a lot of trouble with a considerable number of people, before he finally dropped the job after the guilds were made into different sections and he was summoned to act as one of Lamia Scale's representatives, position that he currently maintain.

"This particular form of Magic allows the user to Take Over the powers and forms of different Demons. These forms give the user a variety of different abilities such as flight, enhanced speed, strength, reflexes etc. Mirajane has also shown demon superiority, through take over, allowing her to control and/or destroy a demon without taking it's form. She mentioned that this form of Take Over requires one to possess the Demon Factor to use. In this demon form, Kou has horns, which are of an appearance reminiscent of Greek mythology, on each side of his head and his hair loose. The transformation that wraps Kou’s body with hard armour is simple and emits a calmer air about it compared to those of the other demons. He has the eight pointed star symbol on the back of each hand and a mantle coiled around his back with constellations that imitates the night sky drawn on it. Anything that befalls the boundaries created by the light from his hands can be teleported to other places. Other than teleporting himself and others, he lacks any ability, being extremely weak in anything vaguely offensive.
On the opposite of other Satan Soul forms, Dantalion doesn't have any physical enhancement when compared to a normal human, being extremely weak against any kind of attack.

Dantalion only capacity is using various forms of spatial magic in the form of a portal-like light comming from his hands, being able to transport himself, others and even magical attacks away. This magic can be used instantly or set as a permanent formation.
Dante Al-Thais:
This space-governing technique is a magic most ideal for intellectual battles. By drawing the constellation Big Dipper with his fingers, it acts as a magic circle that can teleport objects or persons through it to another place. He is also able to transfer the potential damages that a certain area may receive away from the place in a way that is similar to nullification magic.
Satan Soul: Belial

In Belial's form, Kou's hair changes including the color and length. Unlike most of Kou's take overs he has not one but two eyes on the forehead. Also he gets black wings and two additional arm's. In this form Kou is surrounded by a skeleton-like Dragon that he can use to grab and attack the opponent.

Kou's main skill in this form is based on using short-range illusions to influentiate the enemy to drop their guard, using it mainly as a support for his physical attacks. His illusion magic appears to be able to affect the enemy senses to a certain extent, severing them away with its use.

Belial's basic power to create illusions and rewrite memories. By using this magic Kou can manipulate his magic power to give form to illusions to deceive those he chooses as a target. The range in which illusions can be used is only 30 meters.
Belior Goldoreza:
By using Belial's weapon equip Kou can sever the senses of his opponents. The scythe can't physically hurt people, but all senses related to the part of the body that is cut by the blade are send to another space. According to Kou those wounds are impossible to heal by normal means, requiring the help of a specialised healing magic (Like the one used by the Sky Dragon Slayer)
• Darkness Magic •
In this form, Kou can use darkness magic to a certain extent, being able to project it in the form of blasts, explosions and even physical enhancements.

Once he has transformed his body with Zagan’s power, Kou can become a being more close to a Demon, with fur and scales growing on all his limbs and partially covering his body. He appears to have quite the amount of endurance and physical strength as well as the capacity of communicating with plants and living being a alike. Zagan form has a physical strength comparable to a fully grown Vulcan and quite the amount of endurance, being amongst the strongest forms Kou can use.
Special Features
• Life Magic •
His main capacity is sending his magic power to plants, growing and controling them at will and to the microscopic fungus that exists in the atmosphere make them grow, turning them into his servants. These fungi are very acidic and can easily melt metal, being extremely dangerous in close range combat.

- Zaug Al-Adhra: He can use this spell to fire his fungi off by holding his spear like a bow and arrow, firing off multiple fungus at once.

In this form, Kou's hair becomes dark red colored, wild, resembling a lion, and he appears childlike. He has a heavy necklace around his neck. His arms transform into demon-like arms and hands that appear to be able to change their size at his will, with scales, claws and the seal of Solomon on the back. He also grows a tail and a dark tattoo appears on his stomach. According to Kou this form is his most powerful trump card, possessing a physiology that largely surpass his other Demon's already inhuman specs.
The main shortcoming of this form is that Kou hardly has the capacity of fully controlling it, being incapable to completely assimilate it and, consequently, being unable to exert its full potential. A secondary shortcoming is the magic power expenditure, that vastly surpass his other forms.

In this form, Kou is capable of using a form of Dark Magic similar to Dark Regulus in attributes, being able to not only overpower his enemies with heat but also use other kinds of fire and light to empower itself.
