The land of Pokemonus is a beautifully vast and varied place. From the many different beaches and verdant green fields or even the mountains and volcanoes, creatures of all kind call this land home. The humans who traveled to Pokemonus ages ago grew into the three kingdoms that thrive to this day.
The diamond kingdom, located in the South of Pokemonus between mountains.
The pearl kingdom, a fishing village that grew into a seaside city on the northeast beaches.
The ruby kingdom, the smallest of the three, they live in the western forests and have a strong alliance with the pearl.

The diamond and the pearl kingdom's have always had a strained relationship, but it's only recently that the threat of war reared its ugly head. What could drive the kingdoms to war? It was family, but to be more precise it was the unprovoked murder of prince Henry Diamante and the attempted slaughter of the knights escorting the dear Prince. Only one man survived...
He spoke of the sky being torn open, a hole in the night sky with thunder trying to escape to strike everything down below.

Then a long form swam in the sky above them, this beast roars so loud that the knights fell and their Pokemon fled.
Purple fire began to rain down upon them, the one to survive made it back to the diamond kingdom on guts alone to report this tragedy.
To hear of a dragon attack killing your people, your own son, but most chilling to king Diamante?
"My king... there was someone... riding that Dragon..." the knight faints at the kings feet whose face twisted through a range of emotions. The only one he knew in all of his life to ride a dragon in a long form? The wild pearl Prince and his gyarados...
King Diamante left the castle to avenge his son, taking a small army of knights they attempted to march towards the pearl kingdom. However before they could pass through the hollow mountains violent pokemon forced a retreat.

Diamante is forced to send his knights outside the walls of the city not to march on the pearl kingdom but instead to help protect and evacuate the villagers outside the wall now that Pokemon are becoming more feral by the day.
Three days have past since the hole in the sky opened, even bandits try and enter the city for safety... One wouldnt believe it unless they saw but even the infamous Bug bandits came begging to be put in a cell safe inside the walls, they were let inside as some helped escort a diamond scout back to the city who had news to share with the king...

The pearl and the ruby kingdoms face the feral Pokemon aswell, it would seem most of the land is plagued by a frenzy of some sort. The pearl kingdom bolster their walls in preparation for battle... "I was in the pearl city my king, the first prince and second princess of the pearl have been missing, the people of the pearl brave the wilds to find them... i past many unfortunate souls"

Diamante was not empathetic to their misfortune as he was certain that the pearl was responsible for his sons death.
Two more days past and the diamond soldiers have taken casualties saving the neighbouring villagers. Worse still is news of a second hole beginning to tear in the sky...
Diamante knew that someone had to investigate but he had no forces to spare. To remedy the situation the king sent his aides to recruit hunters and mercenaries, anyone with experience in the wilds or confidence in battle.

Many were brought before king Diamante and princess Kairi, but only three individuals accepted this dangerous task.
With promise of reward and honour for helping the kingdom, Diamante wants you to travel the wilds to investigate the coming hole in the sky.

(Thought I had a better picture of a kingdom between mountains lol)

Yahno couldn't refuse the princess, he and Walla waited at the city gates for his assumed party. It worked well for the hunter to have a small team capable of being sneaky opposed to a squad of warriors.
Walla began to growl as a person with a Pokemon approached with yahno having to place the excitable creature on his shoulders to keep from attacking.
"greetings"
Yahno waved with one hand while holding Walla still
"Was it you sent by the king?"

Feel free to rp whatever your character was doing for the week that seemed like the world ending. A hole in the sky causing Pokemon to go violent and larger...
If you lived in the wilds you may have evacuated to the city.
Idk you can literally just have them leaving the meeting with the king to meet my character at the gate.

She knew it should have scared her. It scared everyone. Nobody in the village would dare go outside their own homes in fear of being attacked by this alleged dragon Pokemon gone rampant. The story had been written out in detail and sent to the surrounding villages from the city, whether people had already known of it or not. Birdi knew it was for protection, to make sure everyone kept away from traveling far outside their homes, yet few precautions had been taken to stop this unknown force. She believed that's what scared them the most. The fear that not even their great king knew what to do. Birdi wasn't so quick to jump on that rumor, however. From the stories her father had told her, he seemed like someone who wouldn't just sit by and let things slide.

It had been eerily quiet in her village the passing week. People rarely greeted each other as they used to in passing, if they ever went outside of their houses at all. Mida, her now legal guardian, had kept Birdi and Meinfoo on lock down since the decree had been sent out. Her husband and son were appointed guards the following day, switching posts every evening just outside of their gates. They had no training, no real skill in combat or even Pokemon of their own. The thought frustrated her to no end- She should have been the one to protect her village! Of course, after bringing up that point with her newfound family they disagreed, offering the only excuse of "It's too dangerous".

"Why am I not terrified Meinfoo? Is there something wrong with me?" Birdi groaned from where she now sat in her room, desperately keeping her voice low so as not to awake Mida. It was early in the morning, just before sunrise, Monte and Rufus due back from their post in only an hour.

At Birdi's complaint Meinfoo glanced at her with a worried expression.

"Oh, don't give me that look. All I'm saying is everyone here is scared. Even the guards! We need brave warriors to protect this village, not some cowards who'll run at the first sight of trouble... We should have been out there." A small shrill of approval was the only offer to her commentary. Sighing, the young fighter stood and stretched before making her way to the cooking pot. If nothing could be done about that, the least she could do now was have a meal prepared when the two got back. Meinfoo and herself had been exchanging thoughts of what they could do to keep everyone safe in their own way when it happened. A desperate call from what sounded like her guardian, Rufus.

"A messenger has been sent from the city!" Sharing a surprised glance, Birdi and her partner tiptoed over to the doorway to peer out. Sure enough, Rufus and Monte were walking in with an older gentleman who was donning a beautiful silk kimono and clutching a small stack of scrolls. At another call it looked like their surrounding neighbors had been awoken as well, stepping just outside of their houses to investigate the disturbance.

"What's going on?" A sleepy voice called to her in confusion. Birdi didn't reply to Mida, keeping a curious eye on the newcomer.

"Hello, people of Ractun village! I have news regarding one of your people! A man by the name of Haru Kami." Birdi sucked in a small, tense breath.

"My father?" Before Mida had a chance to stop her, she leapt outside with a stern face, Meinfoo close behind. She heard Rufus's small warning, but she ignored it.

"What do you need with my father?" She called, her heart pounding despite the lack of danger. The man didn't pay her much mind, only glancing at her for a second.

"He is needed by our king. He is the one who trained our boys in martial arts at the school, yes?"

"Sir he's-"

"He's dead." She finished Monte's sentence quietly. Birdi was acutely aware of everyone's eyes on her now.

"My apologies young lady. We are deeply sorry to hear that. Might there be someone close who has knowledge of combat to offer our city?"
--------------------------------------------

It had been hard to convince even the messenger to let her accompany him to the city, much less her guardians. There were desperate tears, yelling, and Rufus had even went to smack her if it had not been for Meinfoo. That was how her adventure had started. Hours had passed since then as she now stood just outside the gates of the king's castle. The city was nothing like she had ever seen before. It was full of new smells, sights, and there had even been laughter from children playing nearby. Nothing had compared to her quiet village, yet even under the pretense of this happiness it was clear a tenseness was blanketing this city.

The talk with the king had been short, and the mission clear. She had been instructed to wait with the others who had been called onto this mission as well, much to Birdi's approval. Despite her confidence in her strength, it was always good to have help on something so important. Walking over to her post, she was greeted quite cheerfully by a tall man with thick black hair. His stature was certainly something to gawk at, and immediately she could tell why he had been sent.

"Pleasure." She gave a small smile in return, Meinfoo cocking her head in curiosity at the man and his strange Pokemon residing on his shoulders.

"I was, yes. I'm Ichika Kami, but you can just call me Birdi. This here is my partner Meinfoo. You've been sent here by the king as well I assume. Your name?"

The Caravan of Trader’s rolled through Diamond City’s north gate, many were tired and their eyes shone with a morbidity. The canvas on the carts were torn, a fee scorch marks here and there. To the side, an elder gentleman handed forth a pouch of coin to Kal, thanking him for the escort. The bag felt lighter, though he couldn’t blame them. This last week of traveling was scarce of business, that hole in sky had made sure of it. People were afraid.

Kal watched them head into the city, his Corvisquire flying down to land on his companion’s shoulder, “The roads are becoming more dangerous.” He spoke to his Pokémon friend, Corvisquire proceeding to fix his feathers, “Agreed, as much as I dislike the idea, working with others may be safer in the future.” Kal replied, sensing the shift in weight on his shoulder as the agreement. “Halt!” The shout came from a City Guard, approaching with haste, but had a less than intimidating presence. “Kalreigh Silvers?” The Guard calling him by his full name, this gave Kal a mix of emotions. “I’m a little worn from my last job, if you have a req-“

“It’s a request from the palace, the King requires you’re presence, immediately.” The Guard cut in, his face giving no sign for debate, if anything, it came across pleadingly.

A few moments later, Kal stood before King Diamante and the Princess, listening to the request. An investigation of the Hole in the Sky, why the Pokémon were going berserk. Kal was aware of the urgency, with growing tensions between the Diamond and Pearl Kingdoms, this disaster at large needed to be quelled. The King was recruiting outside his own military, smart, and tactful. He found himself glance at the Princess for a heartbeat, she seemed poised, as such was her position. However, if he had to guess, She was still in mourning. It was then, when one of the King’s Aids mentioned his Family Name, bringing up the horrible memories of that terrible night. “I accept!” He blurted out suddenly, a reaction to stop the Aid from mentioning anything further. Kal suffered the awkwardness, Corvisquire lifting a wing to cover himself from the embarrassment.

Red in the face, Kal left the royal hall, stepping down the stairs of the palace. “Yeah yeah, I did a swell job staying cool.” He argued with Corvisquire as they made their way to the meeting spot of their new compatriots. The Investigation was a team effort, seemed the King was aware it would take a combined force of professionals to complete this insurmountable task… Kal felt himself slump as he noticed who was waiting ahead of him. A man who looked younger and like he crawled out of the woods, the other, a young girl who’s probably in over her head. Kal looked to his Pokémon companion, noticing Corvisquire was missing beside him. Then he saw his Poké friend already conversing with the Meinfoo beside the young girl. Sighing deeply, Kal approached them.

"birdi ay? Its a pleasure to meet you. I am Yahno Naahz, this Skippee is named Walla."
Walla made more of a challenge than a greeting towards the Meinfoo "Ski Ski ski peeee!"
"He shouldn't cause trouble, just likes to think he's the toughest about"
Walla perched himself higher on Yahno's head to look down upon the newcomers...

"I was asked to guide whoever old Diamante could rally but I figured it'd be more than me and you... was you told to meet at the main gate after lunch?"
Yahno asked ignoring the excitable beast making more of a mess in his hair.
Luckily they wouldn't be waiting much longer as the last member of the party was arriving, a tall young man who looked the part of a sellsword warrior.

The bird he has following him seemed evolved so they must have experience in battle. When he approached closer Yahno recognises the face but can't recall the name... he called out to get his attention.
"Ay lad, you just came from work with the wagons right?"
Walla eyes the bird with a menacing squint that's to adorable to be intimidating. "Did you pass Nahnos village on the way here?"

Nahnos Village is Yahnos home which is closer to the dripping forest than diamond city. While it was evacuated, tough old man Asok Nossa refused to leave. Even at fifty years old his skill with a sword is enough to chase off most pokemon that come around.

Its up to you if Nahnos was passed or not. It could be just fine with Asok still chilling or overrun by feral Pokemon with no sign of the old man. Its up to you

Birdi took note of the names she had been given. None rang a bell, but that was to be expected. She didn't know anyone outside of her own village, much less any Pokemon. Her curiosity grew as she looked at Walla, the little green Pokemon that sat on the man's shoulders like a child. It was very cute, but clearly some mischief hung just bellow its innocent demeanor. Meinfoo's curiosity was much greater than hers however, and when the young fighter looked around for her partner she found her tugging on the man's pants, intent on climbing to reach it.

A trilled whistle settled the Pokemon down immediately, bringing her back to Birdi in less than an instant.

"We do not climb on people! It's impolite." She scolded Meinfoo before turning to look Yahno in his eyes. She didn't voice her concerns- she was sure the king had his reasons, but it seemed unfair that this man was chosen to lead their little crusade. Perhaps it was because he arrived here first? No matter the reason, she was unsatisfied with the decision. Why couldn't she lead?

Shaking her head as if getting rid of the thought, she shrugged.

"I was, but perhaps the others were told to meet elsewhere?" She couldn't imagine the reasoning behind that, but no sooner had she voiced her thoughts a loud whooshing sound grabbed her attention. She spun on her heel to see a man and a very large Pokemon just behind the pair. Meinfoo had now taken to hesitantly playing with the bird instead. When it was clear her partner wouldn't scold her for that as well, she became more vocal and playful. Ignoring the two, Birdi turned her attention to the newcomer, curious as to where Nahnos village even was.

"Are there more coming?" She asked the man, unsure what answer she wanted most. She already felt awkward that Yahno seemed to recognize the man. It made her feel just a little out of place. Who else did he know?

Kal stopped as he stood a few feet away from the other two, getting a better look at them. He decided he’d let the ‘Lad’ comment slide for now, though it did remind of a certain old man he’d met. “I did, the caravan spent the night in the vacant village. An Elder who still resided there is fairing well, lost his left foot to a Feraligatr during an attack.” He answered fairly, unsure the connection this man had to Nahnos village.

He got a better look at the young girl, noting the way she poised herself, even seeing the way she carried herself and spoke. Confidence, eagerness. “I was only told of two waiting, which by the looks is you two.” He told her with a reserved tone, He was starting to hope these two were good at what they do. “My name is Kalreigh Silvers, this is my partner, Corvisquire. I have experience in investigating Pokémon attacks, though normally it’s not on this scale. Anyway, we should talk about what we know, then.” Kal paused to jerk a thumb in the direction of the Hole in the Sky, seen off in the far distance. “We should start at the source.”

"ah, so old Nossa is still kicking. Hopping now I suppose... Let's hope it's still vacant."
Yahno smiled his usual way thinking of the old man to stubborn to die. At the mention of no more people arriving it brought his attention back to the moment.
"Well a small quiet team is good for investigation so we should manage."
To save a bit small of time Yahno introduced the group to Kalreigh.
"Names Yahno, the Skippee is Walla, young lady goes by Birdi and that's her foo."
The question of what they know about the situation was about as much as anyone else which is not much at all. A omnius black hole above Mount Roar that rains thunder and lightning.
When Silvers suggested starting at the source Yahno voiced some concerns.

"Ehh, that first hole is above Mount Roar... if the Pokemon who live there are as feral as the rest have become I wouldn't put it past that ancient volcano to erupt soon..."
Yahno turned his head to shake Walla off so he could point at the hole and trace along the skies to where dark streaks of purple would occasionally flash downwards.
"Diamante said his man saw what could be a new hole forming somewhere near the hollow mountains. I was thinking if we travel fast into the night resting at Nahnos for a tad before cutting through the dripping forest... We might get to the base of hollow mountain before that hole opens proper. See whats happening before and after a hole preferably from a safe distance"

A decent plan pitched, Yahno believed so anyway. But to sell it further the hunter ended with
"I've only my dagger and three boomerangs at the moment so i need to get my gear at Nahnos, But my ways are much faster than any roads..."
A confident smile spread across the man's face
"With some luck and speed we could reach base of the hollow within three days"

Birdi gave a small nod in introduction, thankful she didn't have to repeat the information a second time. Meinfoo was quick to follow with a bow of her own, only to go back to talking with the Corvisquire a second later. Birdi stood awkwardly as her gaze shifted between the two men, wondering who on earth they were discussing. Someone obviously from Yahno's village... It would be nice to meet the man so she could join in on the jokes.

The young fighter was tempted to break up the casual talk to get back on track, but Kal was quick to the chase. His argument was good, but Yahno's made the most sense. She wasn't particularly fond of the idea of being drowned in lava.

"Alright then! We can go investigate this new rift, assuming one really is forming. If it turns out to be misinformation, let's head back here to the original sight... Hoping it's not inaccessible of course." With a gameplan in motion she set off down the path, Meinfoo quickly hopping behind her. She was a few feet away before remembering she didn't actually know where she was headed. She stopped in her tracks quickly, accidentally causing Meinfoo to tumble into her.

"Well... lead the way." Birdi cleared her throat awkwardly, allowing Yahno to take the lead.

"Who's the old guy anyways? Your father?"

Kal had to give it to this Yahno, it was a better plan to kick things off. He glanced to Corvisquire as it conversed with Birdi’s Meinfoo, as friendly as his partner was, He trusted the Pokémon’s judgement of character. In honesty, he needed to resupply, but if they were headed back to Nahnos he could do it there. For cheaper too.

He did raise an eyebrow as Birdi started off on her own, quickly realize her blunder, and look back to them. Kal padded Yahno’s shoulder lightly, “You heard the Lady, best get a move on.” As tired as his legs were from just finishing his last job, He felt a renewed purpose reinvigorate his muscles. Yahno had knowledge of their terrain, Birdi with a confidence that probably comes from some kind of training, perhaps they had a solid team. Kal whistled sharply, sending Corvisquire into the air after a mimicking call back. Falling in line with Birdi, he scratched his head awkwardly, “So, mind if I ask what your specialty is?” He asked clearing his throat.

Yahno led the way with a brisk walk as they would be following a well trodden path for the time being. They may as well save their strength for when they need to move faster. When Birdi asked of Nossa being his father Yahno laughed at the absurdity.

"Nossa is more like my late fathers rival. Nahnos village was named after their grandfathers apparently. Me my father and his were born hunters, the Nossa clan were proud warriors. Together they lived safely in the wilds"
When Silvers asked about specialised skills Yahno turned a a curious ear towards the conversation but kept a eye on the bushes and tall grass.
Pokemon hide in many places and the key part of remaining safe is having a decent idea of your surroundings.

Walla bounded ahead of the group and back with to much energy, every so often he would dash back and climb all over Yahno to reach a shoulder for a better view to keep watch.

Can do a few posts talking before a pokemon battle happens, some normal types close to the path like a ratatta or bidoof

or we can skip to Nahnos village at sunset.

"A clan of warriors you say? Sounds fascinating!" Birdi tried to imagine what exactly a village like that would look like, but all that came up was a little village resembling her own, everyone's buff figures with her fathers face. Frowning, she shook the idea from her head with disdain. She would just have to see Yahno's place when they got there.

As they made their way down the path, she heard Kal come up beside her. She side eyed him with a smile, and cocked her head in confusion at his question.

"My... specialty?" Glancing at Meinfoo for help, her little partner held out her fists for demonstration, punching the air as if they were training. Birdi's eyes grew wide with understanding then as she turned back to her new companion.

"Oh yes, my specialty! I suppose you could say it's fighting- Er, hand to hand combat specifically. Been training with Meinfoo here for years now, we're really like sisters!" Her features turned prideful as Meinfoo added a little quip of her own, climbing up Birdi in excitement.

"What are you doing? G-get off! We don't climb on people!" She scolded the Pokemon again, struggling to catch her before setting her down with an aggravated huff. There was a brief pause in conversation as Birdi hurried to fix her clothing, then turned her attention back up to Kal.

"How did you and your Pokemon meet each other? Do you specialize in anything?"

A Clan of Warriors? The Nossa, that made sense, which meant Yahno wasn’t one to doubt. Knowledge, background, this Hunter would be a great asset to the mission at hand.

Listening to Birdi, hand to hand would be useful. If he had to guess, She probably came from a village that has a history in bare hand combat training, maybe she was their best student? Kal wasn’t bad at it, he was more of a brawler, preferring to use his claymore. As Birdi struggled with her Mienfoo, He watched in confusion before she asked her question. Glancing up at Corvisquire flying above, “I hatched him from an egg, he was just a Rookidee then. He evolved a few years ago, came in handy in a big pinch with a Heracross. As for my specialty, I can use my claymore, and Corvisquire and I have been training together since we met. I can handle myself with Pokémon, but my real quarry are Bandits, or any of the sort.” He added crossly, as if hating to say the word.

Since the Hole opened, most of his Job’s were protecting against enraged Pokémon, before it was taking down Bandit’s whenever he could. It was probably good Kal never went to the usual Pub after his job today, being as even Bandits started flocking to major cities, he might have gotten in trouble there.

((Yeah that sounds good to do, a little something to introduce each other’s skills. Or quirks. We can timeskip to Nahnos after it.))

The party travels for a good while, they are stopped along the way by a larger than average Ratatta but Walla and a boomerang made quick work of the feral attacker. The sun was setting and they could see Nahnos village.
dc38h4m-68b8b3e3-8ba8-4438-b5c7-f85ddc7b7f5d.png
"The big house Is the Naahz home, I'll unlock it after I speak to Nossa. That workshop behind there is where I craft, Those barrels have fresh water you can drink an you can eat a bit of what's growing behind the workshop... Walla, keep watch"
The Skippee made a delighted cry to acknowledge his order as Yahno went to find Asok.

The garden behind the workshop has a variety of plants and fruit trees growing, some more edible than others...
Oran berries, Pecha fruit, Razz berries, medicinal leeks...
Though even with no knowledge of flora one would guess not to eat whats growing in the shade.
Bugwort, Sootweed, cast ferns...
Walla immediately rushed to the garden and started climbing the tree for a Oran berry. "ski ski!"

Yahno was gone for a moment but returned with a rather eccentric old man. How so?
Well he was wearing the head of a Feraligatr and walked using a sheathed katana as a cane. As Silvers said Asok was missing his left foot. "...Anyway if i didnt help them they would have died, i got a new hat out of it and only lost a foot dahahaha"
"I'm more impressed your wearing the bugger who got ya tootsie."
"Bah, a Naahz would have been eaten in a instant, you'd be safer hidden away making me a new foot"

The two laughed but it felt rather forced. "Anyway, King Diamante has sent me and some others on a task. We'll rest here for a hour or two then we cut through the forest towards hollow."
"It's dangerous in there, even the bugs are growing bigger, tougher."
Yahno nodded in agreement and brought up how he had to help Walla take down a large rat.
"Either way be careful, if any infernape or Kangarang are feral in there the whole forest could be destroyed."

Yahno nodded again, a Infernape's flames or a Kangarangs strength can easily clear sections of forest. If those big bastards grew larger and violent then the dripping Forest could quickly become the ruined land.
Asok returned home and Yahno went to unlock his workshop with a key.
Walla bounded back towards the familiar noise of the door opening and rushed inside as Yahno gave his party some advice before waliking inside.
"we leave soon so rest ya feet a bit... if you know how, look in the garden an make a smoke bomb before we lose the light. Cant start a fire cause it attacts pokemon"
=============
It's made up so I figure show it here aha

The garden has enough shit to make at least three smokebombs, revives, potions.
The workshop is full of hunting equipment and tools, if your character doesn't know the recipe/way to make something you can write off screen that Yahno says how or gives a quick demonstration

"Bandits?" At the mention of them, Birdi went silent. Pursing her lips she thought about what he had said. He had a quarrel with them then... Her emotions ran wild, unsure how to respond. Anger and grief spilled over just at the memory, but there was semblance of relief too. Someone here actually shared her thoughts about groups such as that. Through her inner turmoil a spark of happiness and fondness appeared for Kal. He seemed to be a good guy, fighting the good fight with his trusty partner.

"I'm happy you two have each other." Was her only response.

The small group trekked on down the dirt path, Birdi having to whistle Meinfoo back into place every couple of minutes. Often she would let her partner run freely, but she had never been so far from her village before. Meinfoo had seen the forest and been down paths like these, but Birdi would rather know when her partner was in a fight out of sight than other. If one was to battle, so would the other. Yahno and Walla had taken down a Rattata not too far from his home, as he claimed. The confrontation was brief, but it had given Birdi more than enough energy.

By the time they made it to Yahno's village, both her and Meinfoo were back to their curious nature. As their chosen leader left to talk to the old man, Birdi and her Pokemon went to explore. She kept in mind Yahno's parting words as she looked around the garden. Meinfoo had taken to picking any berry close enough for her to reach. The village proved to be just as wondrous as she had imagined. It was much more quiet than her village used to be before the rift opened, but much prettier. They had forests around her village, but never so near as this.

The two walked back to the group when they had had their fill of exploration, following the others into Yahno's home quietly. She had no idea how to make a smoke bomb until Yahno had shown her the steps, along with a few other useful items for their journey. She decided she would make use of the workshop after she had rested a bit.

While Meinfoo busied herself with eating the berries she had picked, Birdi had made rest near the entrance on the floor.

"You've got a lovely place, Yahno. Where are your parents? Shall we meet them soon?"

Walla had taken to his corner in the workshop to guard his territory from the strangers, Yahno assembled his equipment quickly and also made a few useful things with stuff from the garden.
Ten wooden boomerangs, five stone boomerangs, his bow and at least twenty-five arrows.
The goodies that help instead of hurt were kept in a separate bag...
Yahno returned into the workshop eating some fruit so he didn't answer Birdi right away.
Finishing the last bite and taking a swig out of a bottle left on the bench, he replied with "thanks, the first Naahz to settle here made it and each generation has built upon it. My father made this workshop and my mother planted most of the trees in the garden... But uhhhm..."

Yahno's face grimaced a bit as he wondered if he should lie or tell the truth, pity and sorrow is not a appreciated feeling but honesty is always the best trait.
"You wouldn't want to 'meet them soon' as they died years ago... Nossa said it was bandits with a large rock Pokemon that exploded, but he could be exaggerating or making it up completely ahah"
Yahno smiled wide "i still had the home, also had Walla. So I've never worried about it"
Walla snuggled into his bed only to pop his head up annoyed to hear
"Can rest but don't sleep Walla, we leave in a hour or two"
Yahno sat in his chair "if anyone wants to nap I can get you a pillow or something"

Kal rummaged around, normally he wouldn’t have access to this many tools and supplies without a bit of coin. He wasn’t shown this when he last passed through. With some instruction, he made a few smokebombs, could be useful in combat. While Corvisquire perched atop the workshop, Kal got a bite to eat in the doorway as Birdi spoke to Yahno. Pausing as the conversation went a little solemn at Yahno’s hesitation. At least Yahno seemed accepting of it, something he was still grappling with.

Finished with his light meal, Kal tossed up a berry high into the air, not even looking as Corvisquire swooped in to take it. Heading back to roost above. “Just a quiet place is all I need.” He told him as he headed back grab a power nap for the road. Removing his claymore, and propping it against the wall. Finding a soft enough place against the wall and some sacks. He had started to wish he was called for this mission the next day.
