One Mean Ghost
Your Ghost Host from the West Coast
Accepted
Name: Ki'Tavi
Nickname(s): Kit, Thief, Cat-Burglar
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Species: Beast Person (cat)
Appearance: Like most of his kind, he is tall and lean, with muscle tone evident even through his fur, which is astoundingly soft to the touch save for the more coarse hair around his neck. In this particular patch of hair, Kit has been known to store odd small items that he may need for later. Usually these items are "tools of the trade" for a practiced thief.
Distinguishing Characteristics: There's a brand on his left shoulder that is normally hidden by his clothing. His fur is also accented by slightly darker stripes that are seen most prominently on his back and tail.
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 170 lbs
Personality: Ki'Tavi is, well, a tough individual to read. When in a new place, or around new people, he keeps to the shadows, just watching and observing, learning as much as he can before his presence becomes known. Once revealed, he tends to be quite charismatic, using what he learned from his observations to gain the trust of those he was observing. Given he tends to adapt his approach to fit those he's interacting with, it's difficult to tell what's real and what's an act.
The truth is, Ki'Tavi is very slow to trust others and, once that trust is broken, it is nearly impossible to repair. He's also quite opportunistic. If his loyalty hasn't been earned, he has no qualms about using and manipulating others for his own benefit, though he will not turn on those that have earned his trust and loyalty.
Around those who have earned his loyalty, he is noted to have a sharp wit, a sharper tongue, and a fiery temper.

Size: Ten feet tall, if he keeps his head up. His length from tip of his snout to the tip of his tail is about 30 feet. Given his lean frame he is particularly light and quick.
Appearance: Most obviously, his dragon form is known to have flames come from various points in the body, such that he can engulf himself in flames for both attack and defense. In addition to the flames, he has sharp claws and spines that adorn his body.
Ki'Tavi didn't exactly have a normal childhood. Most kids spent their days learning how to read and write while Ki'Tavi... Well, he did that too, but he also learned how to fight, how to steal, and how to lie like a damn rug. Then again, that's par for the course when you're raised by a group of Mercenaries.
As a child, Ki'Tavi was physically quite small, but devilishly quick. As such, he was mentored early on in the ways of scouting and thievery. Before he was yet twelve years old, he was already an accomplished pickpocket, and rather adept at staying out of sight. As the years progressed, Ki'Tavi expanded his thieving skillset and, as his body grew, he became more agile and quick, favoring his speed and athleticism over outright brute force.
Of course, a child could never be an official member of the Phantom Legion's mercenary group. There was always a rite of passage of sorts before one could earn the mark. Ki'Tavi, at age 17, earned his mark spectacularly in a trial by combat, which he now bears on his left shoulder. His victory that day remains one of his proudest memories.
He still is considered a member of the group, though for now he's out on his own. A mysterious letter arrived for him one day claiming to be from a distant relative. Ki'Tavi had never known his parents, and his earliest memory was with the Mercenaries, so he had his doubts about the letter's authenticity. Although it sounded like a scam, Ki'Tavi felt in his gut that this was something different. So, he took a leave from the group to see what his gut was trying to tell him.
He just hoped it wasn't a furrball..
- Ki'Tavi bears the mark of the Phantom Legion on his left shoulder, normally hidden by his clothing. (see right)
- The more coarse fur around his neck is often used for him to store small items.
- Although he doesn't smoke Tobacco, he has been known to enjoy smoking a little catnip from time to time.
- His primary job in the Phantom Legion was to be a thief or an information gatherer. As a result, he's quite adept at picking pockets without getting caught.
