Hate, hysteria, resentment, malevolence and malice, all became the infrastructure of the worlds shortly after the events of Sora's Fall. The greatest battle known to all as the Ultimatum Hearts. Worlds became more conquerable now that the keyblade wielder could no longer stand in the way of the heartless--or of Ansem. As the leader of darkness more rapidly began destroying worlds, he'd found that many heroes' hearts had slipped into despair and grief. One by one, they all fell, Cloud, Donald, Goofy, even Disney Castle, Queen Minnie and many others to recount.
The worlds were faltering to chaos, but in another place, another time, Destiny Islands thrived. Yet untainted and untouched by the darkness. Liqir lived a peaceful life up until, with the loving support of his brother, Angus and his mother, Yvonne. Yet, in the end, even Destiny Islands would no be safe from the growing darkness.
The day had been calm, thus far, with nothing outside of the usual leisure, but darkness came, quicker than usual. Sundown wasn't far off, and yet, the skies became blacker than night without a single star to light them. Street lamps popped under the pressure, and dark forces could be heard storming out through their portals.
In mere seconds, a life of calm and serenity had been trashed to utter calamity. And amidst the black sky, there tore through, a sphere of light, shooting across and landing in the furthest reaches of the city.
Liqir's mother had been making supper when the door came crashing down and the woman shrieked, a small hoard of heartless running in. Angus, his younger brother by about a decade, began crying and hid for his life.
