HOLY ORDERS
The Lost Legion:
Claiming to be bloodlines of the Roummiryn Empire's Royal guard. These men are known for their strong leadership and strict discipline. Serving only to those who control the holy city (Rome). Currently holding it is the pope of the religion, Izekial VII. They have all been converted to the one true faith of europe and are willing to follow upon a crusade if it means bringing more glory and victories under gods name. In the first crusade war against the heretics of the british isle it was said that these men managed to actually land on the island and inflict some small casualties. However no one else managed to reach the isle, and with a vast enemy army coming towards them they decided to get back on their boats and retreat. When the holy war was called off the Lost Legion were furious at the failure of the other crusaders. Stating that none of them were combat experienced or just had incompetent leaders. Even going as far as accusing one of the vassal lords from francia that he was the cause of their failure of the crusade, that he had given valuable intel to the enemy of their invasion plan. They simply labeled the vassal a heretic with no trial and hanged him.

The Legions chapter was a regular Roummiryn Empire but of course when the empire fell. The legion had two options which was either to succumb to the ever so growing factions popping up, or to retreat to the remnants of the empire to the east. Many of the soldiers left to their separate ways while the others who were still loyal to the current Emperor headed east. Their they were sworn again to the Emperor and thus helped keep the remaining parts of the ancient empire alive. This Legion for hundreds of years since the fall of the Empire have been keeping the old traditions alive, while also updating their tactics, military training, and studying other foreign militaries. This Legion was then awarded the title and reorganized as a holy order and protector of the realm. Even when the Empire faced a threat that may swallow them up, The Legions Chapter had managed to always be the beacon of hope and withheld any invasion. The last time they were ever assembled for war was nearly 78 years ago when the kingdom of Sicily requested for the pope of the Camathism faith to call a crusade on the Empire of Kyonstine. The pope replied saying that if the Kingdom of Sicily managed to beat the Kyonstine Empires elite holy order, they would proceed with a crusade. Thus the Kingdom of Sicily gathered an army of 18,000 of their own troops, and a mercenary company of 2,800. They sailed to the north west of the empire and landed, then they commenced to raid the countryside and slaughter all those who were heretics. Several legions were sent to combat the sicily empire but were repelled back. However even with these victories the pope still didn't call a crusade and was still awaiting for the defeat of the holy order of the Legions Chapter. So the king of Sicily decided to go into bigger measures by going as far as destroying and desecrating temples and going to other extreme measures. The pope heard of this and thought that this was a bit to much and requested for the king to tone it down. But the king ignored and continued to go through these measures and thus the Holy order of the Kyonstine Empire was assembled. The result was the whole Sicilian army decimated within a week. The only ones that survived were a handful of officers, troops, and the mercenary groups that gave up and joined the winning side with their remaining 1,200 troops. Without an army to protect Sicily the Holy order had set sailed and conquered and defeated whatever resistance in Sicily. This for the first time since the fall of the roummiryn Empire, had their been an imperial reconquest. The pope of the cathamism faith was disappointed and strangely enough did nothing. Rumors had circulated that the pope wanted Sicily to be conquered do to the fact that they were cocky and growing rather to strong nearby. Afraid that this kingdom would conquer the southern parts of Italy, the pope thus attended a diplomatic negotiation with the kyonstine empire. An agreement was made that Sicily would remain theirs, in return however they would grant them military access in the future which everyone had agreed. The Holy order of Kyonstine had proven once again their wrath of the Imperium and the Pope had gained a favor.
The Queens Holy Knights:
Originally these men were known to be hunters, bandits, and hooligans that were named the "Merry men". These men defied nearly any lord and vassal in the realm and always did what they believed was justified for the poor. However when the war against Queen Bannien came, the Merry men found themselves with even more enemy troops roaming around, most of them were under lords that hated them and were happy to kill these merry men. The Merry men were in a bad situation and would soon face hell. Even with their remarkable skills with hit and run tactics with their longbows and fighting styles as light troops showed somewhat effective. This did not stop the enemy from cutting them bit by bit. At one point they were down to nearly 1,000 men which originally their were 3,900. Many of their fellow brothers were killed and their heads put to the stake or even worse. Everything seemed lost until a letter from the Queen of scotland herself had sent them a letter requesting them to assist in her justified war. They at first didn't really want to accept this and serving under a woman was bit awkward for them. But with limited supplies and being on the run with no where else to go. They decided to join her cause. Over the course of the war the Merry men were known for their bravery and growing loyalty to the Queen. The leader of the Merry men who had died at a strategic turning point of the war had sacrificed himself to save the Queen after a hail of arrows rained down on her position. She had not been harmed but the man was impaled with 12 arrows and had died. The Merry men with their new furry pushed the enemy back and helped win the day. From that day forward the Merry men were appointed as the Queens personal Holy knights. Since then to this day these cocky troops have helped alot in containing the country. Instead of sending criminals to prison or hanged and etc. These men would be sent to the Queen's holy order and be trained and disciplined. Tho not entirely disciplined like soldiers should be, it proved to be effective and useful and keeping crime down. This helped create a strong bond and a strange national pride. Always boasting how they were the best and that their Queen was to.
Lunar Order:
Formed by Ryniak himself after creating is slowly growing kingdom. These men are equipped by stolen european armor and given the best training. Always going out to raid every month, they are always battle tested and are always lusting for blood. However their biggest mission is to help unify all the fellow Ulton believers under one banner. Their are not that many stories to say about them other then their raids. However is significant story about them which involved them knowing how to tame wolves. Somehow Ryniak and his troops were traveling to the west to conquer several villages, when they setted up camp they were later met with 23 hungry wolves. It is not sure what exactly they did but the result was that they had befriended them and even ate with them. With these wolves they had managed to strike fear into the enemies villages and captured them with ease. Since then Every Lunar warrior were assigned a wolf and would always travel with one. These animals are sacred to them, and anyone who dares to kill a fellow companion would have to hear the howls of the packs fury.
