Bio/Backstory:

Born in a Noble house on the Summerset Isles, he was raised to be proper and not embarrass his parents. Having a family in the Higher echelon of Altmer civilization he was constantly pressured to be a politician and was constantly taught how to be such. One summer in the city of Alinor, when Kelkemmeriil was only 14, he displayed an extreme sensitivity to magic, as soon as his parents found out they made arrangements for him to be taken in by the Psijic Order. The Psijic Order being the best place to study magic at the time, was his best hope to grow and refine his skills and that he did. Kelkemmeriil rose through the ranks of the order and was able to become a very powerful mage, but around 500 years after joining he began to secretly delve into the art of conjuration. This school of magic was prohibited for study within the Psijic Order, he was able to study it in secret for a hundred years and did so with another member. Eventually they were exposed and driven out of the order and banned from ever stepping foot upon the isle ever again.

Kelkemmeriil returned to his family home, which had been abandoned for years, with his exiled colleague he renovated and restored the home. They would live there together for a few years living off the land until, one day, Kelkemmeriil had proposed to marry the woman who he had come to love. Together within 10 years his wife had given birth to 3 children. Knowing that he would need to find a job to support his family he went into town in search for any job that required a knowledge of magic. Eventually he stumbled upon a job for a group of daedra hunters, knowing they’d pay well, he agreed. He would bust small pacts of daedra worshippers every week or so. After many years he came across the largest Daedric cult on the entirety of Alinor, after he found it he alerted authorities and held a raid. They killed all the worshipers in the den, it was a town’s worth of people in the lair… a bloodbath on both sides, but eventually they won and the daedra worshipers were dead. Life was good and calm for the Larethors for a month until a strange homeless man with rats following him came to their house. Kelkemmeriil harvesting a great hate for men began to run him off of his land. When he tried to do so the strange man shapeshifted into a dragon and cursed Kelkemmeriil and his entire family to fall prey to a great and terrible suffering. Greatly confused and curious about the meeting, Kelkemmeriil went to the nearest mages guild and began running through dragons. He then realized that he was just Cursed by Peryite. Knowing this he went to town to find scholars, none of them providing answers he returned home.

By the time Kelkemmeriil made it back his youngest child had died from the Thrassian Plague and his other two had caught it. Devastated he worked day and night on cure disease potions they only made the suffering worse He couldn’t bear it. By the end of the first week his second child had died and his wife had caught the Plague. For a month he looked for a cure, or something to slow the effects, but nothing came up and his last child died of the disease. His wife dying before him Kelkemmeriil grew desperate and prayed to any god that would listen, and one did. Before Kelkemmeriil appeared a great blue and white orb of light which spoke to him, Kelkemmeriil fell to his knees in front of the orb. The orb simply sank into his body making his blood surge from magic and at that moment he knew which god came to him. Kelkemmeriil’s wife was saved from the atrocities of disease, but he felt a slight divide between them given to him by the orb. He was saddened by this but ultimately rejoiced that he had saved her to live together the rest of their lives.

For the next thousand years Kelkemmeriil and his life traveled around tamriel learning all they could and having a grand life together. They would go on to have 23 surviving children and would establish a bloodline extremely gifted with magicka more than any other man or mer. The Larethor bloodline became well respected in all reaches of Tamriel. Larethor saw his wife die of old age, happy but at the same time sad he looked weathered yet he was not aging any more. He was stuck he very much wanted to join her in fact he would await it from this point onwards. Afterwards Kelkemmeriil lived with the Ayleids establishing a religion in the name of the god who saved him. For centuries he lived with the Ayleids but when the Ayleids began to get slaughtered he moved on for his survival. He would be ashamed of this action for the rest of his life.

Years later when Kelkemmeriil was in the Summerset Isles he gained wind of a new magical “faction appearing the Mages guild thought they had been around for awhile he had heard about their predicament with “the King of Worms”. Hearing this he joined the guild and decide to help them hunt down the coward, knowing of only one place he could have become so great with necromancy he traveled to meet with the Sload. After arriving he asked many questions to the Sload learning that the Altmer had been there and had studied to become a Lich. Wanting to gain more insight on his opponent he asked the Sload to teach him what the traitor knew. He studied for about 5 years before the Sload made an attempt at his life. Kelkemmeriil though powerful was not able to stand up to the full power of the Sload and barely escaped with his life. Luckily he was picked up by a group of Khajiiti Pirates sailing about. They saved his life and he decided to bunk up with them and heal for a while. He made a deal with them that he’d give them coin for staying on the ship and if they gave him new tomes and knowledge. Kelkemmeriil stayed with them past his healing they sailed together for about a decade mutually benefiting from the relationship, with his magic and their might they were able to thwarp any ship they came upon.

Whilst sailing with the pirates he had caught word of an impending attack on Alinor and the feats of one Tiber Septim. After hearing about this he returned to his homeland. There he joined the Aldmeri Dominion and defended his homeland and the peoples they protected. In the war which had stretched many years, as he fought alongside Bosmer and Khajiit alike even bonding with some of the warriors but as he was apart of a small ground force they were quickly overrun by the ground force and was forced to fall back from the onslaught of Men, Argonians, and even some Mer. He fought diligently alongside his friends, constantly losing ground, but one savage attack on the city of Dune and tiber septim had killed one of his friends who had minutes before become crippled. That moment was when his hatred for Tiber Septim and the races that had allied with him (Argonians and Men) really began to flourish.

After the defeat of the Atlmer at the hands of the Dwemeri artifact, the Numidium, he fled Alinor, wishing not to be prosecuted, he went to the only place where could live in peace, Morrowind. Morrowind was free from the laws of men and enslaved both man and argonian alike, a thing he much enjoyed. He scoured the lands looking for wizards and he found them in House Telvanni, he joined the house and lived in relative peace for centuries even dabbling in the slave trade from time to time. He was an especially cruel master do to his disdain for the races that he enslaved. He grew massively as a part of the Telvanni do to their great knowledge in magical arts and he learned many things. Kelkemmeriil later gave up his land to his great great grandson who was half Altmer half Dunmer, and went to High Rock after he heard whispers of the Numidium.

After arriving in the kingdom of Daggerfall he heard about an agent of the Empire there searching for the numidium, intrigued he followed the “Hero”, he was constantly in the hero’s presence but he was under illusion spells. After learning of the hero gaining the Oghma Infinium he stayed even more diligent until he had stolen it. Leaving a fake copy with the Hero, He made his way back to Morrowind with no care in the world for his original goal: the Numidium. He now had an ultimate source for knowledge and he intended to gaze upon its secrets, but as he was riding for Morrowind the dragon break occurred allowing Hermaeus Mora to claim possession of the book. Confused about his now conflicting memories he went back to his home and began to meditate for twenty years searching for the truth and for the reason. In his meditations he came across visions of 3 more heroes to come. Seeing this he knew that something was about to occur something large, for he knew heroes only show up when a large crisis occurs and that large crisis only occur in frequency when a plane shattering event is set in motion. He knew what he must do, he made pacts with all the gods he worshiped at the time (so excluding Mora and Jyggalag) he was trying to gain power and knowledge for the upcoming “doomsday”.

Two years later he would gain word of the Nerevarine and closely watched his travels and exploits with great attention. Then once again with the Hero of Kvatch and with even more potency, he saw his dealings with the daedric prince Hermaeus Mora, whom he had heard of but never really knew. Once again Kelkemmeriil got his hands on the Oghma Infinium once more after the Hero of Kvatch ascended into insanity and godhood. Once again it was stolen by Hermaeus Mora, who, this time spoke to him. Mora agreed that Kelkemmeriil Larethor could have the book if he was able to find it again and then Mora hid it once more but this time it was somewhere in Tamriel. Kelkemmeriil searched watching the world around him begin to descend into ruin.

Though in his travels he came upon the Thalmor whilst back in his homeland. He made his way to join them for he believed what they stood for, his great great great great granddaughter, Elenwyn,  helped him get into the order. Together they would fight in the great war and he would gain lots of respect for his descendant. She was even tasked with the keeping of Ulfic Stormcloak  and then she was later tasked with keeping watch over Skyrim. During this time he was sent on many missions by the Thalmor to collect knowledges and ancient tomes, which he would hoard for himself and give them transcribed copies. In 4E 201 he received a letter from Elenwyn, after she attended the peace council in High Hrothgar, telling him about this “Dragon Born” Hero that has shown up.

Kelkemmeriil Larethor came to Skyrim in search for the new hero, but by the time he had made it to Skyrim all of his exploits had been finished. The Dovahkiin going into retirement, Kelkemmeriil tracked him down and spoke to him, even buying the black books and the Oghma Infinium. He gained a sort of respect for the Dragonborn, even though he was a Nord he was a powerful mage, he even began to question him about his magic and dragons. Most of the answers were not able to be answered and the Dovahkiin told him about the Blades and the Grey Beards. Kelkemmeriil would go talk to both of these factions and their leaders before realizing that the prophecy he had seen is coming to an end and the destructive event would occur.

Kelkemmeriil was sent by the Thalmor to the competition in order to keep tabs on the warriors and make sure the task is fulfilled.
