Kazuki is a prideful individual who hates to be wrong about anything. He has a bad habit of continuously arguing his point unless he is giving very solid proof that he his wrong. But over all he likes to believe he has good instinct about most things in his life. And due to how good he thinks himself with a sword he has developed sort of a arrogant attitude about his skills. He most often believes he is one of the best swordsmen in his village and has tendency of being a bit of cocky fighter. Aside from that Kazuki tends to keep to himself, he's a more reserved person and prefers to observe everything and enjoys quite most of the time. Although he's not shy at all as he will say exactly what on his mind.

Kazuki was the oldest child born in his family. From a young age he had always seen ninjas as the heroes of the village and would've done anything to become on when he was younger. He always found it so cool when he would see them leave for missions and comeback. Not that he realized that some would never comeback it just became a childhood dream of his to become one to protect what cared about. And didn't take long for what he cared about to grow when his parents had their second child when he was three and their third when he was ten.

When Mei was born he didn't know what to make of the little girl. Sure it was cool that he had another sibling but the little girl was seemingly taking up everyone's attention. He understood why of course but he harbored a small amount of jealousy for his sister. While she was a baby/toddler he would go above and beyond at the academy to get more of his parent's attention. Even at home he'd practice everything learned every night to show his parents. With his constant practicing he had learned that he was quite skilled with a blade and continued practicing that. And for moment it worked, he was able to get some of their attention once again and it made him happy. Well at least before, his sister became a jinchuuriki. After that moment their parents had uprooted him from the home he knew to more private and secluded home in a rural area. He didn't think he'd be able to like his sister much after that, after all it was her fault. Or so he felt at the time.

Through the years Kazuki continued to train and refine his swordsmanship as he slide up the ranks of ninja as well as begrudgingly teaching his sister how to use a sword. At first teaching her was more of a chore as he regarded her as a annoying kid. But she eventually grew on him more and more. Soon, much to his surprise she was quite good at using a blade. In a few years she may be able to beat him. But all in all it seemed that Kazuki was realizing his dream of being a ninja, a hero that protected his village. Or at least he was, he had been recently promoted to Jonin when he had learned that his brother, Kyllen, was kiiled. After his death Kazuki's view had changed. He understood that sometimes ninja wouldn't return but never had he thought his brother would be one of those people. He stopped seeing ninja as heroes who he once held on such a high peristalses as just normal people who where just as expendable as the rest of the world.
