Appearance:  Kathrine can be described, in a word, as petite.  Standing at 5' 3", she's always been small, and mistaken for being much younger than she actually is.  Bright blue eyes and nearly silver hair only accentuate her odd appearance, something that she's had to learn to cope with over the years.  Though she's used to the stares and the whispers, and can play it off like they're nothing, she finds herself bothered quite easily by it.  She normally dresses in what's most comfortable, even if it's not entirely flattering.


Personality: Kat can be scatterbrained at times, and is easily effected by stress.  She can come off as shy and demure, but when she's teaching her personality changes.  She can keep control of her classes, becoming stern when she needs to be.  Overall she's a kind, friendly person, though it takes a bit to get past her shell.  She's always willing to help others, even at the expense of her own health and sanity.


Background: Kat came from a typical middle class family, and though she never really struggled with much during her childhood it wasn't easy either.  She always kept to herself in classes, dedicating her time after school to studying since she didn't make much in the way of friends.  Once she was out of school, she floated between jobs here and there until she heard about a program to help further human and dragon relations.  With nothing much else to do with her life she signed up, and quickly formed a bond with one of the other applicants.  She and Gareth quickly learned how to work well together, and once their partnership was approved she went to teach at Truslow.
