Just a sad little poem

[Munchies]

This poem is a little vague which is what I was trying to write like, just as a side note. I didn't name it either. Criticism is welcome, for it does need to be touched up a bit.

Pain engulfs my chest like


Cold flames


Wrapping around my skin


My throat closes


Panic


Panic


Panic


Until I can’t breathe


And your presence


Suffocates me


And I can only tear my gaze away


Stare at the floor


That was once beautiful


But is now blurred and tainted


By broken dreams


But your beautiful face


Haunts me


Though the fire has


Burned out


I still see the hope


And I reach out


But the light


It's gone too soon


And I find


my face is slick


As my trembling fingertips


Slowly trace


The tears


And I am lost
