Clarke Winters - Manio

Clarke is writer and podcaster who runs a pretty well known podcast on the internet for the paleontology, and dinosaur fanatic community. During some downtime in-between jobs he was contacted by Simon Masrani to take a trip on the cruise, and review it on his podcast and site to garner more attraction to the ship, he was excited to see the sights surrounding Site B, and hopefully see some dinosaurs in the process. He loves cracking jokes and has a difficult time being serious, but will when the time calls for it. He is incredibly faithful to his friends and the people he cares about.

He is a massive fan of dinosaurs and had actually been to Jurassic World when it had opened back in 2005 and hopes that his work on the cruise documenting the trip will somehow secure him a position working at the theme park.

Varic "Vert" Wilson - WanderingJester

Son of a prominent and very influential film critic, Varric (or Vert as his friends calls him) inherited his father's intelligence, logic and biting sarcasm without having the time to develop a sense of maturity to understand when those things are appropriate or not. Therefore he's considered by many of his contemporary as a "sarcastic wise-asshole" and though very intelligent, hangs out mostly with his fraternity brothers in the Alpha Sig Omega house/functions. Still, he stands out a lot from the waves of dude bros that surrounds him and if one could get past all the rough layers of backhanded compliments and sarcasm Varric's actually kind of a cool guy to hang out with, as discovered by the few that are his friends. Trying to break into the film business following his dad's footsteps, Varric takes his studies in college and internship with his dad's work seriously, though his grades are often affected negatively due to his attitude to the various teachers (and the one young female one that he slept with).

At the summer right before his last year in Undergrad, his dad suggested that he joined the Paleozoic Cruise in order to write a journalistic report and review as practice for when Varric graduate and starts working in the professional world. After unsuccessfully trying to get his dad to agree to buying another few tickets so that his friends could join him and have some fun (which his dad blatantly refused since they would only served to "distract him from his work"), Varric begrudgingly agreed and packed his stuff, boarding the ship under an alias to get an average customer experience in order to write an impartial review of the experience and possibly get another thing to put on his resume at graduation.

Edgar Marius Frais - DarlingWaylonPark

Born in Paris France, Edgar came from an upstanding family of Doctors and Scientists, and he was no exception. At age ten he moved to America, where he spent the rest of his educational career in the field of Science. He graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University, where he became a Chemistry professor and over time worked his way up. He is now head of the Chemistry Department at Princeton University. During his life, he married and had one child, his daughter Violetta Frais. He and his wife divorced when Violetta was only three years old, and has since been single and not looking, too busy with work and his own research to bother.

Edgar is standoffish and can be condescending at times, especially to those he finds intellectually inferior to himself. He is clever and resourceful, able to think on his feet and come up with a solution in minutes. He has his moments where he sees life as one big experiment and that he, as the Scientist, must collect as much data as he can in order to fully understand what's going on, treating others as mere guinea pigs. He usually only thinks of himself and can be a very selfish person, the only exception to this rule being his daughter, who he is highly protective of. He uses logic and reason, and is rarely emotional because of it, making him come across as cold and unfeeling to others.

Violetta Rosette Frais - DarlingWaylonPark

Violetta was born in Princeton, New Jersey to Edgar Frais and his wife whom she barely remembers since she left when Violet was only three years of age. From childhood Violet exhibited intellectual behavior and her father enrolled her in Private School. She led a very sheltered life and did not get out much, having few friends who matched her intelligence. She participated in math and science clubs at school, and won many awards and honors throughout her schooling career. She graduated at the top of her high school class, and has recently been accepted to Princeton University to become a Surgeon and Diagnostician.

Violet is very quiet most of the time and reserved, but unlike her father is kind to everyone she meets. She is soft spoken and while intelligent, is very socially awkward and doesn't do too well among large groups of people. She does have a great sense of humor and like her father can be snarky sometimes, but she has a generous heart and aims to help whoever she can, being a reliable and dependable person.

Daud Lionel - The Doorman

Daud Lionel, brother of Ross Lionel, is a small-time defense attorney with a full-time job as a bartender somewhere on the East coast of the US.

Several years back, he and Ross had a falling out in a heated argument after the divorce of their parents. In an attempt to mend their broken relationship, Daud suggested they go on a cruise.

Daud is, for the most part, a selfish, cynical bastard intent upon making money and using people for their connections. He's been married and divorced three times in the past five years, each time he gained a large sum of money. Men, women, he just sees profit. Thing is, he's just an average guy in any other setting, it's nearly impossible to pick him out of a crowd, his lack of business as an attorney and his everyday job as a bartender make him little more than an enigma to those seeking to avoid him.

He does, however, have a soft spot for family, he's made numerous attempts to become close to his brother again, all fruitless efforts.

Daud is, in essence, a weak conman in possession of a great deal of money. Outside of cash, he's useless.

Ross Lionel - The Doorman

Ross Lionel, "brother" to Daud Lionel, is a smart man, fresh out of college with little money to his name. He recently took up a job as a nurse, he's the pride and joy of both of his parents.

After an explosive argument with his brother several years back, he cut himself out of Daud's life. He is a well-known representative of charities for cancer patients, local veterinary hospitals, and war veterans. He often volunteers at children's hospitals and is known to refuse money. He is recently married to his high school sweetheart, a ceremony he refused to let his brother attend.

Ross is very honest, he knows his limits. He is extremely cautious about strangers, but won't hesitate to come to their aid... Unless their name is Daud Lionel, in which case he wants nothing to do with them. He is also subject to sudden bouts of explosive anger, particularly when faced with bad liars or those who refuse help.

Ross is a stern man, he isn't quick to trust and he sure as hell ain't gonna take shit from anyone. After all, he has people waiting for him back home.

Carcharodontosaurus - Main Adversary

The Carchar native to Isla Sorna was bred after Sorna was aquired by Masrani Global. It had been bred on the Isla Nublar facility of Jurassic World and had proved to be too hostile towards the other animals during its infancy, so there was an arrangement to have it moved to the biological preserve of Isla Sorna. During it's time on the island it got into numerous fights for territory with the much larger specimen, Spinosaurus (the one from JPIII) in which it had killed during a confrontation by crushing the bones in the Spino's neck with it's incredibly strong bite force, and shark-like teeth.

It is now the largest, and most territorial carnivore on Site B and is adorned with various scares and wounds from its fights over the last four years. It's most notable trait however, is that during its fight with the Spinosaurus it had lost its left eye which is now a healed over, disgusting wound.
