  As Sah Ria, well, she woke up inside of the train found by a woman who nursed her back to health. While dubious of the person she saved, considering the amount of gold and jewelry Yurika had in her bag, she wasn't one to leave a person in dire need. Luckily, she is a doctor and was able to treat the poor young woman. She introduced herself as Sah Alisha, the person the Nishidan will always be thankful for. When it was her turn to introduce herself, she recalled nothing of her past life, not a name, not a sliver of memory. There also wasn't anything in her bag that could identify her. But there was no sort of malice that the amnesiac gave, just the feeling of a lost child unsure what to do in a strange world.​

  So Alisha gave her the moniker of Sah Ria, for two years she lived in the care of the Doctor, becoming a sisterly figure. The woman forbids Ria to make use of the gold and jewelry inside her bag, afraid that using it will attract unwanted attention. Ria's life, in the years she had lived in the train, is living the life Yurika has always wanted. A sisterly relationship, not bound by the duties of being Royalty by blood. In her first few months in the Train, it has been apparent how interested she is in the Performing Arts. More often than not she would re-enact scenes in the theatrical plays that they have watched. She even tried out for a local troupe who was looking for a fresh new face.​

Oblivious to the delicate subtleties of social interaction, Dolce is regularly seen as cold and unsympathetic. When one gets to know her a bit more, her image usually changes to naive and inexperienced. Sing-bot was created by a certain company to mimic and surpass a certain popular singer, made with the widest range possible of a clockwork automaton of her time. And all the effort put into her body was not fruitless, she quickly gained enough reputation for any artist to envy and easily bested the singing records of other sentient automatons. But with even with all of that, Dolce still managed to achieve infamy right as she was about to beat said singer’s popularity. She voiced an unpopular opinion at a live show when questioned on a controversial topic and all her easy success came tumbling down. Unable to show her face to a crowd without at least one calling out her former transgression, her company couldn’t salvage the reputation they so painstakingly built and so decided on losing a lot of money in the short term versus more in the long run. She was kicked out of her company and was almost taken apart if not from timely help from her creators.

In the end, Dolce chose to move to the train for an opportunity to start anew. The tickets to get aboard were nowhere near cheap so she soon wasted the sympathy money she was given, turning to host a local radio channel to earn her bread and butter. Or Eitr, since she's clockwork, after all.

  There was a time when Yvonne wasn’t in Jörmungandr. In fact, her childhood was spent in Allechlande, though her memories from it where not all that great. She remembered the mountain and the kind villagers and how she always clung to Bastien. There wasn’t much advancement there, not as much as the ones she was doing now, but there was enough to stir her curiosity about them. How her hands were always moving - taking things apart and putting them back together again. It was a habit she had ever since she was young and her parents were rather supportive of her natural curiosity.​
  ​
  But then their parents died. Yvonne wasn’t told of the exact circumstances of their death but they were placed under the care of their uncle. Their uncle was not a nice person. Finding the siblings to be more of a hassle than what was worth it, he couldn’t care less about them. Yvonne doesn’t try to remember much about her stay with the abusive man - it was an alcoholic haze of pain and neglect with only the memories of Bastien’s emotional capabilities slowly deteriorating really making a mark in her mind.​

  When she was fifteen years old, she and Bastien escaped the household as Bastien was going to sign up for the Allechlande Military. Yvonne was placed on Jörmungandr with a ticket for a whole round until the next stop to Allechlande. She knew that it was necessary, even though she would be separated from the only family she had left. Nevertheless, the first month was spent idling around in the train - not knowing what to make of her life now. But her curiosity drove her to dig around for objects that were discarded and started to tinker with them.​
  ​
  Then she was found by the Borgese family - or to be more precise, one of their Head Engineers. It had been a coincidence that she was found restoring a broken engine in an alleyway and he offered her an apprenticeship. The minds of engineers aren’t always restricted to the high trainborn, after all - and wouldn’t it be better to learn from a high ranking engineer. Yvonne didn’t really care much about who he was and the wealth he carried, the moment he said apprenticeship under a head engineer, she was already taken. She became fast friends with Elizabeth Borgese, her mentor’s niece and a fellow apprentice.​

  The Borgese family helped her with procuring a citizenship once she had proved herself to be as able as they had hoped for. Ever since then, she’s never left the train for more than just a few days or the entire week if she’s spending it with Bastien. As years passed, Elizabeth had dropped out of apprenticeship due to her business as a noble - though they never lost touch for other reasons - she continued as her mentor’s sole apprentice. She likely wouldn’t be eligible for something as high of a position as Head Engineer (though he wasn’t opposed to the idea per se), she was still planning on working for the train continuously in between her own inventions.​

  Observation | Yvonne has mastered the art of reading people and situations. From minor body language to small shifts of someone’s face, she’s quick to catch onto these and make accurate assumptions. This does not mean she acts correctly in these situations but she understands them.​

  Guns | Bastien had thought her how to use guns before so that she can protect herself if worse comes to worse. She’s a good shot but she’s definitely not someone who would actively search for a fight.​

  Strengths:
  
  Fast Learner | Yvonne picks up on things relatively faster than most people and she can teach herself given enough time and resources. Give her a gadget and she’ll be sure to learn all about it.​

  Observant | The haze of sleepiness and hunger does little to affect Yvonne’s sharpness. Even the smallest change of expression, or a hint of tension or the feeling of someone watching her are rarely missed by her unless she was completely asleep.​

  Hyperfocus | Yvonne tends to forego everything in exchange for what she deems more important - may it be creation of a machine, weaponry or studying a certain piece of technology. This leads to her constantly being sleep deprived and, more often than not, hungry.​

  Separation Anxiety | As a result from her past, Yvonne suffers from this. This is one of the main reasons why she is always on the go and she’s always doing something until she passes out or someone coaxes her out of her room. It’s a lot better than thinking about anything else other than the machines that she’s working on, that’s for sure.​

  Calarel was raised as a soldier of the Valkyrie City States as per tradition stated. For the most part, Calarel didn’t mind. She loved fighting and she loved her assigned squadmates whom she started training with from the very start. In their culture, they were trained together from a young age so that they can work together well. They were first dispatched when they were just thirteen years old, young but battle ready. Their specific squad was tasked with assassinations and very small skirmishes. They had succeeded in their first mission. And their second. And so on.
  
  Calarel was unsure if she would just continue her life as a soldier. She wouldn’t really mind. When they had told her that she could choose between finding a mate or becoming an instructor, she had figured that the latter would be more fitting for someone like her. Besides, her true worth could only be measured in the battlefield. Everywhere else ends up in a mess which only her squadmates ever knew. Her lack of understanding of societal norms in casual events have led to her squadmates covering for her every time.
  
  When her squadmates began to talk about finding a mate, Calarel sought to travel and return to teach as well. So they all went their separate ways. She had boarded Jörmungandr because it had always interested her in a different way than fighting. While her first few days were rough on her, Calarel soon began to understand how things worked around there. And the longer she stayed, the longer she began to wish for a life that didn’t revolve around combat. It was a few months into her stay in Jörmungandr, her vacation ticket slowly reaching its expiration, when she had made a deal with a noble. Apparently, she wanted to keep the fact that she could fight a secret and Cal bore witness to her defeating multiple thugs. When she brought the girl back to her home, her parents awarded her with farm land, a deal and citizenship.
  
  When she had started the farm, it was still rather small and unkempt. The family had given her supplies to start off with - such as a few cattle and some chickens and enough money to build a farmhouse, a coop and a barn. They were generally lax in providing her what she needed. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any people to spare for her. It was only when she stumbled upon Thomas and Riley - both two young lads who had nowhere to go to. When Calarel had extended a hand to them, they immediately accepted just so they can have something to eat. As the years went by, the farm grew bigger and more abundant.

  A man silently stood from a distance, holding what appeared to be a tabloid. He didn't share the same elegance nor decorum as her father yet she realized that they have similar eyes when their gazes met.
  
  The girl found herself gravitating towards the man, her little feet leading her in front of him. Eventually, she felt a hand placed against her crown. It felt warm, she remembered.
  
  "Ahh, the little Borgese. You look awfully a lot like your sister."
  
  She felt her heart drop.
  
  "But between you and me? You're definitely cuter."
  
  She felt herself smile.
  
  From then on, her uncle played a big role in her life. She could still recall how hard she prayed to wake up one day and find out that he was actually her real father. But regardless, he treated her like she was his own daughter. He would let her sneak in his workshop, spend time with her, and talk with her for hours until she decided that she wanted to be just like him.

  Hester Savalas was the daughter of an influencial noble family on board the train. They proposed a law that would limit the power of the rich people, but they were enraged. They burnt down the Savalas home, killing her mother and father. She escaped the burning home only to meet the sword of one of the thugs, losing her nose and twisting her face into a permanent snarl. Bleeding heavily, the mob chased after her. Hester had to run to the ground level, which was relatively close, jumping into a soft patch of mud. When she woke up, she was in a dark, metal shack which Shrike called home. Shrike was a freelance assassin then, and he took her in for reasons she has still not discovered. Her wounds healed, leaving the nasty scars which led her to don a mask to conceal them. As she grew up, helping Shrike with various things, her faded memories would return.​

  Hester wanted revenge. She told Shrike his plan and he reluctantly accepted. When the train came by, Shrike moved abroad with lots of cargo crates containing spare parts, his collection, and one Hester Savalas. Following her instructions, he became a skilled enforcer to gain information. Then Hester would rally the peasants on all frontiers, having them organize together and start a revolt. Hester would hide in the shadows, pulling strings and exposing weak points. If she needs to take action to expose something, she’ll send Shrike to do it. She would supply them with tips on the rich people who destroyed her family, having Shrike collect their belongings once the revolutionaries kill them. After that, she plans to destroy the entire train. After that? She has no clue.​

  Years ago, an unknown expert in eitrcrafts used decades-worth of resources and materials for a project. He'd spent his whole life researching this, and after years of hard work, his plan came into fruition. It was simple; create a squad of combat-trained clockwork dolls to take over the kingdom, and then the world. In a secret, underground laboratory, he created his first clockwork. He had designed them to be emotionless, and combined with their fighting capabilities, they were essentially the perfect killers.​
  ​
  His plan quickly hit a wall, though. The clockworks lacked free will, meaning that in the wrong hands, they could be used against him. In addition to that, their lack of thinking meant that they could not recognize traps and make rookie mistakes. Desperate, the doctor went through months of tinkering, resulting in another clockwork. He called it Shrike, his new pride and joy. He managed to make an emotionless killing machine that now included free will. He would send Shrike out into the real world, putting him up as an assassin for hire as a sort of test. The results topped the charts, passing even the doctor's grand expectations. He would have Shrike spend more time outside as an assassin, using the data for another project.​

  When Shrike returned to the underground lab, the doctor explained that he was of no use anymore. He used the data to build another squad of dolls, each more equipped and deadly. Shrike didn't surrender, though, forcing the doctor to unleash the more destructive clockworks on him. However, Shrike's time outside--every job he took--gave him something that the newer models didn't: experience. Subverting every expectation that the doctor had, Shrike destroyed each of the dolls. He burst into the doctor's office, where he killed his creator and left him dangling on a hook outside the lab.​

  No longer with a purpose in life, Shrike returned to his life as a mercenary. Hit after hit, job after job, the contracts made him a wealthy clockwork. He would spend the money on tiny metal trinkets sold by passing merchants. The children's dolls were all either broken or unwanted, most being given away for free. This became his collection. One day, after the train had passed by his home, he noticed a young woman laying face-down in some mud. Like his collection, she was broken, her face sliced in two. Originally, he took her in for that sole fact. When she woke up, she stumbled over to Shrike, dazed, having forgotten everything that happened beforehand. Shrike didn't know why he kept her. She needed food and water, which he considered a waste of his money, but he kept her with him. When she was with him, he felt an empty pit he didn't realize was there be filled.​

  One day, Hester came to him, having remembered her whole life. She explained to him who gave her the scar, and what she wanted. She wanted to board the train and get revenge on the ones who destroyed her life. Shrike was reluctant, not wanting to see her go. She then offered for Shrike to come with her, and he accepted that. He smuggled her onto the train, leaving his collection back at his home. There, he became one of the train's enforcers for the rich on Hester's orders. This was to gain information on the "rich snobs" who "defiled" the train every second they got. At this point, killing was as easy as breathing to Shrike. All that mattered was that he was with his daughter, and he would never leave her side.​

When spotting his target from a distance, he will strafe, jump, and run towards them no matter what lies between them. Shrike's targets are usually left hanging on hooks and pointed objects at the end of the day.​

  With his parents passing soon after his birth, Izzatullah was taken in and raised by his uncle, Rifat, the leader of a small militia located in one of the cities bordering Volstad. Once Izzatullah was old enough, Rifat began to train him to one day join his band of soldiers, putting the young Alrami through rigorous training in order to prepare him. Once he was of age, he became a prominent member within the militia, his natural charisma helping them out of most difficult situations. He never enjoyed employing violence unless necessary, much to the dismay of his uncle, who didn't want Izzatullah to seem weak to foes. To try and fix this, Rifat had Izzatullah, along with a few other soldiers, escort a merchant envoy to a city by the coast near Aleku, crossing more dangerous terrain to hopefully have Izzatullah become harsher. All was fine until the envoy was attacked by a pack of Balosks in a sandstorm, killing most of the militiamen and merchants save for Izzatullah, another militiaman, and a merchant by the name of Bassem. Eventually making it to the town, Izzatullah and Bassem began to form a friendship, with Izzatullah intrigued with how Bassem ran his business. Bassem offered to take the young man under his wing, and Izzatullah, not wanting to fight for the rest of his life, took him up on his offer, his uncle disowning him in the process.​

  For the next few years, Izzatullah traveled with Bassem, learning how to barter and how to weed out customers. Izzatullah's natural ability to lure in customers with his sweet-talking made the two of them a formidable duo. Izzatullah began to grow tired of the same bartering and heckling and travelling simply around the country of Juha. He parted ways with Bassem and boarded a boat set for the country of Khadan, and began his travels from there. He traveled from town to town, shop to shop, working his magic and accruing a decent amount of wealth in the process. Unable to stand the thought of opening up his own shop and being stuck in a single place, but hating carrying his inventory around with him, he bought himself a ticket onto the World Train, Jörmungandr. He started out working at a shop run by another Alrami, getting his foot in the door to eventually get to opening his own business. During this time he met Audhild, an engineer who was unable to work due to an accident where she lost her right leg. The two quickly clicked, and with Izzatullah's funds and charisma and Audhild's skills, they eventually were able to open up Izzy's Scrap Heap, a metal shop that sold parts or fixed other machinery.​

  It was suprisingly successful, and Izzatullah took the chance to begin opening up other stores, and making himself a name within the middle and lower classes, his name even reaching some of the more elite individuals on the train. As his influence grew, he found himself beginning to fall behind, losing his momentum. At around this time, he was approached by a member of a gang, who was looking for some illegal materials. Seeing his chance, Izzatullah offered to find him what he needed for a price slightly above the market for them, and with his connections off of the train, smuggled the goods onboard. His name then began to spread in the underground workings of the city, and he would be approached by members of crime families to smuggle weapons aboard the city, or to sneak illegal spices and other materials on board for those who were homesick. The thrill of it all helped rebuild Izzatullah's confidence, and he began plotting new ways to ever increase his businesses, wishing to one day have reaches across the entire train...​

  theos family wasn't really in the whole mercenary thing, they where farmers if course they learned guns to defend their farm, theo took a real liking to them, like seriously, while he wasn't the best shot, to begin with, he got better and better over the years, as he managed to deal with most of the local creatures easily he decided to branch off and go out into the world, with little objection from his family who thought he was kinda crazy anyway. over the years he carved out a name for himself, his skills with a verity of firearms and his own custom tinkering became rather well known by many a mercenary group, young and overconfident one day he met his match. he and another mercenary were on the same target, they were meant to be brought back alive... to put it lightly a fight ensued between the town mercenaries, Theo losing his good shooting arm, to the other's blade, what about the other? well she had gotten quite a lot of lead in her. both of them half bleeding out on the ground managed to settle their differences.. once the dust cleared they could see one another better and well it was love at first fight. and that's how theo met his wife althea, (losing much of his younger selves overconfidence and gusto in the process) how they managed to survive their wounds is a mystery to all but they got married soon after and the town remained mercenaries to this day. theo getting a prosthetic arm to replace his lost one, and a better temperament, and the two's reputation even in their advanced age hasn't changed you could almost they why where a legend.​

  Ethamira was born and has been living inside the train ever since. While it was her father that mainly took care of her through tender love and care, her mother had trained her to be like the Valkyries in VCS. But even so, Mira, as she was so fondly called by her father, has always had an interest in machinery and would rather not be part of the military. Alas, she was never given the chance to truly pursue what she wanted. She took more from her father than she did her mom. Her father worked with his hands, helping with engineering the train while her mother has been part of the force since she came into the Train and met her father.​
  
  
  Unfortunately for her, Damien, her father had died while she was at the age of sixteen. Devastated but her mother kept on pushing her to the limits, never gave her time to grieve. She did as her mother told, but only because it was her father's last request before he succumbs to his illness. "Take care of Evira, Mira. Know that I love you." This had led her to do her mother's every wish despite it being a great hardship for her.​
  
  Life with her mother went on, becoming a field medic on her mother's squad in the military. She never liked the violence that came with it, she resented it so much but held her tongue until it came to the point that she couldn't stand it anymore. So she left, placed down her gun and flew away. In a fit of anger, finding her daughter disrespectful and dishonorable, she flew after Mira. The young Valkyrie doesn't have it in her to fight her own mother, because how could she? She tried her best to defend herself from her mother's attacks, but it was all for naught.
  
  Ethamira ended up in a hospital, thoroughly beaten up and with broken wings. And while her wings did fully heal, she couldn't exactly fly as she did before. She tried and tried but her wings always ended up freezing in place the moment she's in air, the memory of her Evira fighting her and breaking her wings. During this time she was taken in by an aunt of hers, for a year she stayed with her, helped her. In that short time, Cal has been more of a mother than Evira was to her. A year after staying with Cal, not be too dependent on the woman, she opened up her own workshop where she practiced her skills in engineering while fixing machinery that is in need of fixing.

  The Haversmith family was originally an Old and Powerful family on the train, until Charlene's grandfather Albert made some poor tactical planning involving other less than reputable families. When things fell through, the Haversmith family was thrown under the bus and their reputation was all but ruined. After Albert left the train in disgrace, Charlene's family was able to pull things together for them to still live comfortable lives as part of the middle class, as they still had money, just not any more political clout. From a young age, Charlene was taught proper etiquette of the nobility and was tutored in their ways, even though she was more middle class, just in case she was ever able to ascend the family back up the upper eschilones of the train nobility. Of course, Charlene preferred other things in life. While she enjoyed being fashionable, she was also drawn to her passion of making and providing coffee. So one day, she convinced her parents to give her enough money to start her own business, a coffee shop named Railthym n Brews serving her particular branding of coffee acquiring the coffee beans from a local farm.​

  Eventually one day, she met Eadrik Christoffel Dael Otten Van Aalsburg-Oirschot and fell head over heels for the man. He practically swept her off her feet and she wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of her life with the man, even ignoring the advice of some of her closest friends.   When someone looks up “wild child” in the dictionary, Malc’s name is certainly the definition. A chaotic good who spends a great amount of her time balancing between the two words, Malc is very passionate about bringing good energy to those she cares about and is an incredibly curious thrillseeker for such a tiny woman. She puts on a mask of being so happy and carefree, due to the words Eir told her years ago about not showing weakness. For Malc, that means to not show when she’s upset or angry, as she’s learned that she can catch more flies with honey rather than vinegar. Malc puts others before herself, at every turn, so she might get herself into more trouble than one might expect.​

  Malc finds delight in challenges. She has a surprisingly good memory, as she never seemed to experience the common event of childhood amnesia. She can come across as having an amazing amount of obliviousness stored in that brain of hers, but Malc prefers to have people assume that she knows nothing. It helps that Malc is pretty oblivious, anyway, but whenever she can have a leg up on someone (figuratively or literally), she’ll take it, as she doesn’t have many advantages being so small in general. She has a feral mind; Malc enjoys fighting and learn new techniques, and she respects nature, preferring to stay as close to it as possible as she can on the train. Technology still, even after a year, gives Malc a bit of a pause, but she’s much less frightened by it then when she started. Now, she’s more likely to ask what things do and sit by someone while they work so she can understand it better.​

  Biography:
  
  Melekhgüi was born to two Malcha, who loved her intensely; unfortunately the family were all struck with an illness while she was only a year old. Her mother and father grew feeble, unable to find help for themselves as they lived on the border of the Northlands and Allechlande and the sickness had taken quicker effect on the adults than the younger Malchin. After her father died, her mother prayed with her last breaths that someone would come and find her child before she too succumbed to their illness. Thankfully, her prayers were answered; a Jotunn huntress broke into their home along with her tamed wolves, looking to loot as much as she could. Before Melk’s mother passed away, she witnessed the huntress take her child into her arms.​
  ​
  The huntress wasn’t too happy to take on a child into her midst, but she realized the gravity of the situation and by good luck, knew what was needed to heal her. She recognized the child as Malchin and promptly (re)named the child “Malc”, after her race and after what she knew the Malcha to be: herders. She couldn’t heal Malc’s skin or fix her scars, but at least the girl was healthy. The huntress, who Malc came to know as Eir, or “Ma”, made sure that Malc proved she was useful by teaching her how to hunt. Malc, of course, had to adapt a lot of Eir’s techniques to suit her smaller body, but she wanted to make Eir proud. Even if it took longer because of their differences, she managed to succeed, completing her first kill at the age of eight. They lived like this for practically all of Malc’s life; Eir boldly running into trouble with larger animals or other Jotnar, Malcha, or humans, and Malc having to pick up the slack behind her or heal Eir up afterwards.​

  Malc was twenty-four when Eir got incredibly sick, becoming bedridden. Malc was frightened, as this was the first time she’d ever seen Eir so weak. Malc immediately went out to find the herbs Eir needed to heal, which took her a few days. When she arrived back, she was shocked, as their door had been blown wide open. She ran inside and noticed Eir wasn’t in bed where she left her, and when she went out searching again, she was horrified as she spotted a group of human hunters fighting with the Jotunn, her wolves already dead by her side. Although Malc was able to help Eir kill the group, the Jotunn had been fatally hit. As Malc managed to get her back to their home, she was sobbing intensely. Eir asked her to see the sun before she died, so Malc rested Eir’s head in her lap as she continued to cry. The Jotunn looked up at the young Malchin and made her promise that she wouldn’t show weakness like this in her own final moments, and that she would be strong. Malc made sure she was smiling when Eir passed away, to start keeping her promise.​

  Malc buried her next to their home. When she went inside, she noticed that Eir had been making plans to find and board Jörmungandr while she was away. Malc had never heard of the train herself, but it became clear from Eir’s notes that the Jotunn had wanted Malc to go with her, to have new experiences. Malc picked up the ticket Eir had bought for her, mulling over the idea for a bit. She’d never been on a train before, in all her years outside. But who would she be to deny Eir another one of her dying wishes? So after a few months of preparation, Malc packed up her things, following the map Eir left her. The journey was longer than expected for a tiny Malchin by herself, and she missed the intended date Eir had set for them to board the train. However, there was a plus to this; Malc had managed to make an animal friend, whom she called Tatu, after saving him from a large rampaging boar. The two began to work in tune when Malc realized her map had been torn to pieces by the boar before she’d ended its entire career finished it off. The two haven’t been separated since.​

  Malc and Tatu finally entered the train on her twenty-fifth birthday, and she’d spent days trying to find a job to survive. She found herself on the top floor, where the farms were located, and was disgusted with most of the farm’s living conditions for their workers, before she came upon a calm, much quieter farm, in comparison to the others. As she walked further into the farm, the free roaming cows came over to her, and she enjoyed the feeling of grass between her toes for the first time in what felt like ages. As one of the cows licked her face, she noticed she was being watched by a Valkyrie, one of the first she’d ever seen. When the Valkyrie, named Calarel, invited her in for food and offered to give her a job, Malc was touched and honored, accidentally referring to the older Valkyrie as “Mama”. Something about her reminded Malc of her actual mother and Eir. Malc wanted to prove to Cal that she was worth the position as a farmhand, so the next morning, she got up and cleaned the farm and was feeding the animals by the time Cal woke up. Needless to say, Cal was pleased enough to keep her on.​

  Bruce Baudelaire was the third child to Remington & Helena Baudelaire, surpassed by his older brother and sister. Through his early life aboard the train, Bruce experienced the lavish lifestyle that was offered to the Baudelaire family: always provided for and every expense taken care of. Despite this financial security his family virtually ignored Bruce as a boy. His father remained fixated upon his brother, prepping him for the eventual transfer of power. As his mother did the same for his sister. Bruce was essentially left to his own devices as a boy, often finding entertainment in reading in the exterior decks, or simply exploring the ship. Sometimes his brother would accompany him in his ventures, feeling bad for his little brother, but more often than not his father made alternative plans.
  
  Bruce’s interest in literature could easily be the inspiration for his dream I’m leaving the train. Reading the tales of ________ and _______ often enthralled the young boy in the mystics of the world. So at the age of 16, Bruce petitioned to his parents to fund his travels in the hopes to learn and study abroad for his dream business idea: the ability to non-stop reclaim water despite exterior conditions aboard the train. His mother saw interest in the venture, and decided to fund four years of abroad study. Backpacking through the continent altered Bruce’s life entirely. INSERT HERE

Holly is a genius in the combat arts, favoring a combination of blade and bullet to get her work done. The latter is built primarily for use in enclosed quarters, favoring power over accuracy making it mostly useless over long distances. In the past, she brandished eitrwork-enhanced versions of her signature weapons but gave them up when she retired from active military duty.​
  Urban Navigation - Holly is a professional at moving about environments, be they wood, stone or steel. Windowsills are footholds, roofs are pathways, and the gaping maw of an alleyway is her favorite sort of shortcut.​

  Eitrtouched - During her military service Holly was overexposed to eitr-waste, and contracted eitrtouch. While it wracks her body with a litany of symptoms should she go without treatment, it has also given her access to a small suite of mystical abilities. Namely, hers involve the projection of force, allowing her to manipulate the enviroment and shunt her body about unnaturally.​
  Hyper Coordination - A large part of the reason behind her combative savantism is the unnatural degree of control of her body that Holly seems to command. She can move each part of her body independently of the rest of it, allowing her to perform absurd shows of acrobatics and flexibility both in and out of combat. She is still human, though, and is limited by the capabilities of her own flesh and bone, especially since contracting her affliction.​

  Bookdumb - Not only is Holly uneducated, but she's uninterested. Why should she care how many carrots the Danny needs for the harvest, or who was the 8th Grand General of Allechland? She shouldn't. Her job is to tidy up the Lady's messes and kick any stalkers in the nads, not learn about history and math.​
  Eitrtouched - Despite the supernatural gifts her condition offers her, Holly's life isn't all peaches and cream. She requires frequent medicines and treatments to stop her eitrtouch from advancing too much, and must also restrain the use of her magic lest she advance her affliction regardless. She's constantly harrowed by a chesty cough, due to the eitr buildup in her lungs. She smokes to hide the true source of her condition, despite it only making her symptoms worse. Her endurance is especially poor because of this, rendering her unable to do battle, give chase, or flee for extended periods of time.​
  Thoughtless - She just does what she's told. She sticks around Ameila not because she likes her, but because it's her job, and the same can be said for the rest of her life. If the Lady told her to shoot somebody? She would. That isn't to say she wouldn't have her own thoughts on the matter, but she's far too quick to put them aside just because someone is putting cash in her pocket.​

  Amelia belongs to a very influential family from Allechlande. The Heinrich family's history is closely intertwined with their homeland's, as her own family served in the military for generations before her. They were revered as one of the households from whom the foundation of Allechlande derived. Growing up, Amelia felt the immense pressure of being her parents' only child. She had no say of her own, everything was always decided and carried out for her. Her father was in politics and that meant Amelia had to conduct herself a certain manner. Amelia was the black sheep of the family, however, and didn't share her family's ideals and values. Amelia gave her parents a hard time growing up, constantly challenging their beliefs and thought process. Amelia was eventually betrothed to Eugen Ludwig Herzfeld IV, a son of another influential family that would strengthen their popularity and finances. It wasn't too long after meeting Eugen that Amelia realized both of them were simply not compatible with each other, that and she was being pushed into it. She expressed her reservations to her parents, but it was of no use, her wedding took place against her will. On the night of her wedding, in the midst of all the celebrations, Amelia took her handmaiden in confidence and they both fled to Jörmungandr.

  Reginald Pennesbrooke was created for the sole purpose of having a clockwork doll repairman on the battlefield that could help differentiate damage and prioritize the injured. Created as one of the early prototypes 10 years ago for intelligent sentient clockwork dolls, Reggie fought in many border skirmishes. They were horrific affairs, which mentally scarred the machine. He grew to understand that the nobility and the government was truly responsible for sending all these people and clockworks to their pointless deaths over ever changing borders on a map that truly didn't matter to those on the bottom of the social ladder. There was no true choice. People could not be who they were truly meant to be. They were trapped and unable to free themselves. Reginald knew that he would have to be the one to help free the people from the yoke of tyranny. But how to even get started? It was an almost an insurmountable task for him to overcome. That was when he had heard of the World Train. Perhaps he could start there as he learned about the oppressive train born nobles. Yes. If he could over throw the nobles and take control of the train, he could use the World Train as a symbol of FREEDOM and show the world that they could throw off the tyranny that traps them as well. That was his plan as he became one of the founders of the Rebellion on the train.​

  Basic Weapons Training- As a member of the military, Reginald is trained in the basic use of firearms in case of needing to defend himself. He is mainly comfortable using a handgun, but won't be making any crazy shots.​

  Tasia should probably take a class on Anger Management. After growing up in rich circles, the girl has had enough of prancing around like a doll to the benefit of her elders. While she has the skill, she prefers a much more hardened approach of straightforwardness instead of beating around the bush. She puts on a strong face; however, this is easily broken by genuine affection or by teasing. She has an overflow of emotions that never ceases to show themselves, namely her anger. Tasia is hilariously bad at reeling her feelings in, and tends to “solve” the issue by pressing her face against a nearby surface and groaning out of embarrassment. Tasia has a good soul, and that could be a caveat for her, as if she feels a positive connection with someone, she’ll do what’s in her power to see their goals come to fruition.

  Anastasia’s father, Ezra Hightower, fell in love with an exotic dancer from Volstad, named Mischa Nikolaev, during one of his bachelor escapades. When a baby came from their union, at first her grandfather, Callahan Hightower, was not amused, as he wanted his son to have a proper child, not a child out of wedlock. However, when Callahan laid his eyes on baby Anastasia, he grew attached to her. At first, the attachment seemed harmless to Mischa and Ezra, as Callahan took excellent care of his granddaughter and made sure she was well educated, something that came as a shock to her parents at first. When she began to show great aptitude for the sciences, Callahan and Ezra were pleased. She would fit right into the family. However, at her young age, there were still a few things the Hightowers kept secret, for her “benefit”. This idea didn’t sit right with Mischa, but since she wasn’t technically part of the family, she didn’t know what they were hiding.​

  When Anastasia was around the age of sixteen, Callahan became quite transfixed on her. It made Mischa uncomfortable, but Ezra couldn’t do much besides try to wean his father away from his daughter. Anastasia didn’t understand why she would see Callahan without her father and why her mother, fed up with the way her father let things slide, left him. Unfortunately, Mischa couldn’t take Anastasia with her, as she was still a Hightower. Callahan forced Ezra to find a proper, rich wife, now that Mischa was out of the picture. During this, he spent more and more time with Anastasia alone, solidifying his obsession with his younger granddaughter. Ezra found a beautiful stepmother for Anastasia, named Cassandra, and the two got along very well, to Ezra’s relief. Cassandra treated Anastasia like her own child, and even though Anastasia missed her mother dearly, she grew to accept her stepmother, but a seed was mentally planted out of irritation for her father’s complacency.​

  When Anastasia reached the age of eighteen, Callahan realized that not only was Ezra trying to keep her away from her true duties as a Hightower, but also that the girl wasn’t a girl anymore, and was growing into a young woman. She was the prime age for marriage. He got a little nervous as he realized Ezra could marry her off and limit his access to her again, funding more of her eitr research to keep her closer. Ezra, however, was much more interested in letting Anastasia do as she pleased. It was around this time Anastasia started to recognize that things weren’t as they seemed, between the Hightower Family, her grandfather, and her father himself. Sometimes she noticed they would have guests who would never leave. Sometimes she noticed how her grandfather’s comments were more suggestive than they should be to his granddaughter. And sometimes, she noticed how her father would drink himself into a stupor. Callahan, noting that Ezra wasn’t attempting to have a child with Cassandra, filled his new wife’s brain with thoughts of carrying Ezra’s true offspring. While she didn’t like the intention of his words, Cassandra was filled with mirth at the idea of having a child with Ezra. A few months after Anastasia was nineteen, Cassandra had a baby, Helena.​

  Neither Anastasia or Ezra liked the look Callahan gave the new child once he saw her.​

  ​

  As Helena grew older, so did Callahan’s fascination with her - Anastasia was grossed out, mainly because she could see what he’d done to her in real time, and partially because she was happy he wasn’t the focus of her attention anymore. However, Callahan wasn’t finished with Anastasia just yet, and he made that abundantly clear when he took her along to meetings with the other four families. Anastasia was made increasingly uncomfortable with her grandfather’s advances, but with nowhere to go, she was stuck. She felt helpless, and Callahan delighted in this time with her. He realized that she didn’t “return” his feelings anymore - as he had mistaken her proper treatment of her elder as true romantic affection - and took advantage of her regardless of those feelings he’d recognized. All Anastasia found herself wondering was why her father was doing nothing once again, the root of her ire growing more. She didn’t realize this was all apart of Callahan’s plan to separate the two. As Callahan spent more time with her, she felt more and more disgusted by her father’s inaction, snapping at him at Helena’s second birthday party. But Callahan wasn’t finished there.​

  To jam the nail into the coffin, Callahan decided, on Anastasia’s twenty-first birthday, to show her the truth about their family, something Ezra had wanted to hide from her. He brought her down to the Hightower Laboratory, so she could finally see things with her own eyes, and of course, she was repulsed that the place she wanted to work so bad was treating the “lowborns” - for god’s sake, that name should never had stuck - like the cattle on the farms. She saw her father, manning an experiment, and when they caught each other’s eyes, he’d never seemed so broken before in his life. Before he could come after her, and before Callahan could tell her more, Anastasia fled the Laboratory, went to her room, and locked the door shut behind her. A single knock was heard at her door and when she opened it, she saw Cassandra’s sad face, and realized that even she had known the truth of the Hightowers. Cassandra explained more as Anastasia demanded to know everything, and wasn’t surprised when the younger Hightower wanted to leave. The only problem was the lack of funds she’d need to continue her research, Anastasia mentioned, and Cassandra put a hand over hers, letting her know she’d assist the best way that she could.​

  ​

  Anastasia decided to cut her hair and change her name to Tasia Nikolaev to keep her grandfather and her father at bay, and found herself a nice apartment amongst the middle class on the train. She managed to convince a few of the rich families outside of the five to also help fund her research, and while she was reading in the coffee shop, Railthym and Brews, she noticed a “HELP WANTED” sign. Tasia was more than happy to find another avenue for her finances. The owner, Charlene, was delighted to have another set of hands, and the two became fast friends. Over the two and a half years Tasia has worked with Charlene and her two newer hires, she’s met some funny characters, but the one she’s felt the closest to sans Charlene is Yvonne, a young engineer who also began studying eitr. The two bonded over their mutual research and swapped notes, and Tasia looks forward to seeing Yvonne and a new friend, Ethamira, come and visit Charlene--er, she means the coffee shop.​

  Gymnast, Ballerina - Being a rich girl did have its perks. Learning how to dance and how to do gymnastics since she was young made Tasia flexible and quite graceful. She always goes back to dancing; it brings her so much peace. In fact, she seems like a different person after she twirls along to a classical song. Maybe she should take dancing into consideration with her anger issues, but maybe her genius intellect hasn’t made that connection. You can be smart and stupid; she is the proof.​

  Genius - Tasia completed her courses early, and she has an unquenchable need to learn more. She’s been working on eitr research since she was around ten years of age; first on what eitr is capable of accomplishing through its basic form and through eitrwork, and then how to cure eitrtouch. Her recent “findings”, thanks to her grandfather, pushes her to work harder on finding a cure without harming anyone in the process. She has an excellent memory to help her with this.​

  Good with Money - Even before she was cut off from her trust fund and allowance, Tasia was always good with managing her funds. Since she was well taken care of before being sent off, the extra money she received from her grandfather and father were put into savings accounts under different names. Even the money she receives from them both gets put into those accounts, and she chooses to make her own money to spend for herself. She doesn’t want to have to rely on them.​

  Makes a Mean Espresso - Making drinks comes surprisingly easy to Tasia. Recipes are much like experiments, you see. For certain drinks you have to hit the right temperature in the water for a perfect brew and [ RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE SHE CAN MAKE A DRINK, probably really good food too? yeah. ]​

  Gentle Grasp on Customer Service - Thanks to the time she’s spent working alongside Charlene, Tasia has adopted some of the sweeter girl’s tendencies, coming across better to customers when she’s in the coffee shop. She seems serene enough. It helps that she learned a lot of pleasant behavior from her time as her grandfather’s “favorite”. When she’s not working, however, all bets are off.​

  albert come from the rich merchant family fox, he is the middle child of three his older brother Geoffroy, and his younger sister marie. He never knew his older brother since he had moved to the new frontier to start a new branch of the families company.​

  most of alberts life was easy while he studying not that it mattered to him. at age 12 alberts life changed, his younger sister was killed in a accident, they had been by the river, and with one wrong step on the stone they were climbing she slipped. he had tried, he really did but she was so far down under the water that he was scared. he would never forgive himself for not saving her.​

  at the age of 20 he was enlisted into the military, his father pulled some strings and made sure that he would never see the light of combat but that he would always stay safe. this didn't change alberts curiosity and the young man would every now and then sneak to the battle field and talk with his platoon. one day while he was there an attack came, morters, machine guns and grenades rained down like hell fire. albert fearing for his life ordered in pure panic that the men counter attack, none made it back. alberts would be at everyone of their funerals, everyone knew that he was at fault and everyone would not let him forget, the worst memory is of a young boy around 10 crying because he couldn't save dad. albert keeps every letter that was sent to those men that died in a safe, letters from fathers wishing their sons happy 18 birthdays, mothers saying how proud they are, and lovers wishing they could hold them in their arms one more time. he retired a year after this.​
