Jennifer is a shy girl who usually keeps to herself. The only real friends she has are the owners of a local comic book and card game shop she visits frequently. She has frequent daydreams about having fantastical powers, and using them for justice and the protection of others, and is a huge fan of most superhero shows, movies, and comic books, no matter how cheesy they are. She spends almost all of her free time reading fantasy novels, reading comic books, playing RPG video games, or reading about various different mythologies. She's a bit of an over dramatic person, and is definitely not the kind of person you want to get started ranting on something, because there's a good chance that she won't shut up about it for the next few hours. She aspires to be a great person, one who will go down in history for some great deed, despite the fact that she hasn't really done anything memorable in her entire life. Once you get to know Jennifer, she's a really friendly, very kind, and extremely silly person. She strives for not much more in life than to help and protect others. It is her life goal, and one she hopes to achieve.
Backstory:
Jennifer, for lack of a better way of putting things, is not much more than an ordinary girl with huge dreams. Her parents may be wealthy, and may own a rather successful cyber security corporation, but Jennifer really isn't all that much better off for it. Her parents live rather humbly for someone of their statues, living in a two story house in an a decently nice neighborhood. There isn't really anything that can truly be considered "odd" about her life before current events other than her continuous aspirations and wishes to be some sort of protector or hero to others. Her early school years were no big deal, and she made it through High School with a decent G.P.A., despite spending most of her time reading about superheroes or mythological heroes instead of doing school work, but, instead of heading to college immediately she decided to work for her parents. (W I P)
Powers:
Sorcerous Spell Weaving: Jennifer is capable of casting powerful shielding spells to protect herself and others, as well as spells that allow her to fire off powerful, if not slightly inaccurate, blasts of energy from her hands, or that allow her to go invisible temporarily, or that can allow her to speak telepathically to others from any distance. There's more that she will eventually be capable of, but, so far this is all she can do.
Plant and Poison identification: She can identify any plant or poisonous substance by name and use just by looking at it. Pretty simple, pretty straightforward.
Summon The Dead: A power that Jennifer will likely never use. She can reanimate the corpses, and only the corpses, of the dead, and have them do her bidding. She can only reanimate one or two at a time, however, and after a while they once again become inanimate corpses again.
Bring Rest to The Dead: Once again pretty simple. She can bring peace to restless spirits, and send them away from the mortal plane.
Ethereal Lights: Jennifer can create strange orbs of pure light in order to provide light to any dark locations, or just for any reason really. Once again, a pretty simple, straightforward power, albeit a much more useful one.
