Appearance Notes: Jason stands tall for his age, at just under 6' tall. He has nearly no body fat and barely any muscle definition, giving him a gangly appearance. He mostly wears jeans and hoodies or sweatshirts, though he prefers having a hood to cover his face if he talks to people. He wears glasses, without them he can hardly see.
Personality: Jason is incredibly quiet and shy, preferring the company of himself to others. He has mild social anxiety, so he usually gets flustered whenever he talks with someone, especially if he can't answer any questions they ask. Though he's normally extremely quiet, he's been known to relax around people he's familiar with, though the shyness never really goes away.
Ability: Material phasing. He can pass his body through solid objects, along with anything that he touches.
Limitations: Jason cannot phase through any objects that are too dense or too big, and if he doesn't watch himself he tends to drop through floors. He also can't stay hidden inside of a solid object for longer than a few minutes, otherwise he starts to get crushed.
Drawbacks: Whenever Jason uses his powers extensively, he exhausts himself to the point of passing out. If he overworks himself, he can't control when or what part of his body will start phasing through things, and it's led to him being injured more than once.
Mutation: Jason's mutation is rather subtle, if he focuses on controlling it. Parts of his body goes translucent, almost as if he were a ghost. He can control it most of the time, but if his emotions get away from him, there's nothing he can do about it. Even when his body doesn't take on an ethereal form, his skin is deathly pale, almost pure white.
Background: Jason has lived in Volonil City for most of his life, leading nothing but a quiet, uneventful life. He never once considered himself important or worth anything, so he just stood on the sidelines and watched everyone else live their lives. When the anomaly happened and he was given these extraordinary powers, he did the opposite of what any kid his age would do. He hid. He hated what he had become, since he already thought that he was freakish to begin with. When martial law was enacted he went into hiding, resorting to stealing to get the money and food he needed.

Other: Jason has a love for cats, and has an analytically geared mind, making him a fantastic tactician. That is, if he ever had the will to fight.
