NAME: Jakob Killian
AGE: 31
GENDER: Male
APPEARANCE: 6ft 3inch tall. He is a very strong man, and his look is calm and focused, although his mind is constantly thinking. (see picture)
DEMEANOR/PERSONALITY: His first-impression personality is commanding, although he is slow with showing real emotion such as sadness and fear.
PRE-OUTBREAK OCCUPATIONS: Main: Owner of Henry's Guns and Sporting Goods.
Sides: A private hunting guide ... black-market seller of AR-15's to people that didn't trust the government.
HISTORY: He came to the land when he was 5 years old, and built a reputation in Saxton since, making friends and building respect when most people were losing theirs. Eventually his father, Henry Killian, bought a Sporting Good's store when he was 13, and it has been the town's main store since.
When he was 20, his father died in a traffic accident involving a drunk off-duty police officer. He was devastated, and went into isolation for a few months in the vast amount of land that his father passed down to him by the lake. When he came out, he was slightly changed. More of an optimist. To this day, nobody knows what happened in the woods, but they don't question it.
After that, he started up again Henry's Guns and Sporting Goods, and has been running it ever since, even adding on when he was 25 a large addition, furthering it's reputation as the most successful store in town. Later he started selling black-market AR-15 Weapons to people that didn't trust the government, as he secretly harbors a grudge and believes in Communist principles himself.
When the outbreak happened, the town isolated itself and cut off all ties to the outside world, but it couldn't stop the fighting inside. Soon the whole town was taking sides, not noticing a few infected among themselves... It was too late when they noticed, and Jakob took charge, killing off anybody that was presumed infected. Eventually, 29 people in all were left, but Jakob's standing of the Leader of the Town didn't change.
Eventually, Jakob announced the Wall, a 10-ft tall wall, braced by Semi's and made with scrap metal and steel bars, and the formation of the Saxton Union, a Communist city-state led by Jakob and his advisors. The people were told that it would eventually turn into a Communist Democracy when things toned down... There were few dissedents, but the five people that did dare speak out were told to "Get out if they didn't want safety." None did... The rule of Jakob to this day is unquestioned, except in small whispers.
The Commune (as it has come to be called) remains taking any people in they can, but forever keeps it's eyes out with numerous guards, protecting the many farmers, hunters, and fishers of the Union...
