Is this a good character?

_Exodus_

King of Transformers
What can I change about them to make it better?

Name: Tamara Devoux
Alias: Captain Universe
Age: 20-29
Stature: 5’ 6” 140 lbs.
Race: Human female
Sexuality: Bi
Alignment: Lawful good
Personality:
Before being a hero, Tamara was always the innocent one. She wanted for people to always get along. To always be friends and make up. Some call her a hopeless optimist who sees the best in people, a title she gladly takes. Part of her optimism is because she lost so much time. She could dwell on the things that make her sad, or make a positive change.

Powers:
Increased Strength
Flight
Light blasts/light creation
Boost other powers
X-ray/cosmic vision
Costume creation
Protective costume/armor

Weaknesses:
Darkness - the polar opposite of Captain universe. The only thing that can smother the light are those with dark powers.

Good intent - if Tamara is going to do something that the Uni power does not like, it will take its power back.

Failure - While the costume may not be hindered by this, Tamara is severely. She can get a panic attack if all her ideas go mute. She shuts down as she begins to fear the worst.

Mortal host - while the uni power Can do a lot, it cannot protect its host from everything. The suit for one, doesn’t block every energy form. Especially negative forms. If the host can be removed from the power, they are simply human.

Psychic attacks - while The uni power may be resistant to psychic attacks, Tamara is quite weak against anything.

Backstory:
Tamara was born into a broken home; her parents were either at work, at home being rude to her, or sharing some romantic endeavor. At times it felt like Tamara was the only one in the world that didn’t have anyone. Through this trouble, she was often not home. She journeyed through many parts of town eventually finding a friend in a local scientist, Hank Pym. He saw the good in her and adopted her into his home. No longer did she have to go home to that horrid place, but she could live with him. Around the age of 10, she got into a car crash with Hank. He suffered no Injuries due to his ant man technology, but Tamra fell into a coma.

Ten years passed after that. One fateful day, Hank brought in a mysterious relic he had found in the quantum realm in hopes it could revive her. A small ball of light that had two rings around it. He didn’t know much about it, but knew it had the powers of the quantum realm written all over it, which had shown to heal those it touched. He called it the Uni Power, or maybe it was what it called itself.

Tamara woke up as soon as it was brought into the room. It bonded with her as a symbiote would, creating an armor of stars and white around her. Hank was glad, but Tamara was sad. Ten years of her life. High school gone. Learning how to be mature? Gone. Her body had changed greatly making her quite awkward. She spent a year working with Hank to regain what was lost. She even found comfort in her new bonded symbiote, The Uni power.

It was odd at first. A second voice in her mind to help her do good. Questions of why her were always answered with “you are the best of them” from the source.

Eventually finding her footing, Tamara managed to become a hero, wanting no one to suffer as she had. Many ideas of a costume hero name came into her mind but the Uni power insisted; Captain Universe.

Uni Power: A ball of light from the quantum realm/micro verse. It draws energy from the dimension to fuel itself. The uni power is the opposite of the symbiotes & their gods Knull. While they seek to consume & shadow, the Uni Power seeks to brighten and give life.

A comic book setting? I like my powers not so ambiguous and more fleshed out. I also like to play out such details. So meeting the suit, learning to communicate with it, then earning its respect. Then the two training to become one. As it is now, it feels more like a book three character. This is honesty subjective, and few like the idea of playing out these ideas, so take it with a grain of salt.

True. It was suppose to be a deity at one point, but that’s too much.

In the end, it is your creation. The biggest thing, mainly the powers. I personally build my kits thematically with my characters, to the point changing aspects of their history and world views, lessens the depth of their skills and vice versa. That is probably too much, but example.

"Cosmic vision"

1) What is it?
2) What do they use it for and how is it employed? Eyes, hand feet, tail etc.
3) How far can it travel, dimensions, what kind of shape or shapes?
4) What happens if I do get hit without any type of protection against it?

Name: Unknown
Alias: Singularity
Age: Unknown, looks in twenties
Stature: Singularity stands at 6’. Definitely taller than most humans as well as not overly large.
Race: Appears to be human female
Sexuality: Bi
Alignment: True Neutral
Personality:
Singularity is curious about her surroundings. She had all these gifts but has no idea where they came from and what to do with them. She wants to know about her past, what happened that made her forget? Made her be lost in an endless cosmos looking for answers? Was she not loved? Did people not want her around?

Powers:
Teleportation - Singularity can teleport a decent amount of space. She can travel about a planet’s distance (Earth to Mars).

Shroud - Singularity can expand or contract herself. She can stretch her proportions or shrink down in scale.

Pocket Dimension - Similar to cloak, Singularity has a pocket dimension she can put things in. It isn’t too large, but definitely comes in handy.

Flight
Telepath - can read thoughts or project her own into someone else’s mind.

Immortal - it is unknown if singularity is immortal or not. She does not appear to need to breath and can consume very little to be sustained.

Weaknesses:
Childlike - Due to the nature of her condition, Singularity is easily manipulated. She does her best to figure thing out for herself, but still is gullible.

Psychic link - her opposite, Antimatter, can find her wherever she is. No matter the distance or time, it will find her.

Gravity well- if a well can be created near her, or around her, singularity is unable to use her teleportation or other powers.

Energy weapons - these kinds of weapons can be used on her if she stays in one spot for long. Mainly ion or laser weapons.

Backstory:
Singularity can’t remember anything before a few weeks ago. The broken memories get to her mind, yet none of them make sense: A black hole that she was falling out of instead of becoming a part of. . . Becoming stars or space, or however that one voice put it. . . A silhouette of a person she cared for . . . A void of empty space . . . Then drifting. . . An endless sea of stars she could reach out and touch. . .

In the drifting, she was found by the guardians who took her in. Rocket sarcastically said they should call her singularity by the sheer amount of food she could consume, even more than Star munch. Star Lord welcomed her with open arms. They were a mixed up family, but every family had room to grow. They worked together for some time. Star Lord helped get her interested in Music, as the people of Terra call it. The others were more practical in trying to help her remember or take her to places of significance where universal events took place. She often found herself on the brink of remembering some key information before it slipped from her grasp leaving her dispirited.

Months went by as she began to learn. Even without her memories, she had a decent grasp of who she was. The girl became brave. Maybe dangerously so. Singularity began to explore the universe by herself. The guardians were good to her, that was true. This path though, she had a feeling she needs to walk it alone. Besides, she can call them up any time.

If she’s lucky, maybe Singularity can find where she came from? How did she become like this? Are there more like? Or is she truly alone?
