Is there a way to turn off emoji replacements

Because I'd really like to be able to type what I want to have appear, and not have the BB software second-guess me.  I looked in Account Settings, and that seems to be literally nothing but socnet integration.


On a related note, is there a way I can lean on the post-count for an old account to get HTML access?  I'm probably <i>never</i> going to hit 500 posts at the pace the game I'm in runs.

You can get away with your own emojis by placing punctuation after the emoticon, like so:

As far as I am concerned, the mods cannot transfer content counts between accounts.
