Welcome to the Character Creation thread for Iron Caskets. The opening chapters of the game will be taking place in the Pardus Sector, a star system on the fringes of Terran space. Several Corporations have laid claim to this region, making it a hotbed for potential activity in the brewing conflict.


The rules are as follows;
- At this time Humans, Cyborgs, and Robots/Androids are the only playable character types. Exceptions can be made on request, but I do not guarantee that such will be made.
- Technology should be kept fairly simple, following the basic list below. Exceptions can be made on request, but again there is no guarantee it will be made.
- Please keep ages for non-civilian personnel above 20. If playing a Civilian you may be younger, but the character will need a good reason to be here. If playing a Trade or Mercenary Captain, ideally the minimum age would be in the 30s.
- For characters that have a great deal of equipment, or especially holdings (ships, land, units, etc.), please provide a good reason for what they have. Additionally, specify if you would like to control your various underlings (as one would have on a ship) or if you don't mind handing them off to a GM. Underlings do not require their own character sheet, but can be made a simple one if you wish.
- Any questions can ideally be PMed to me, but may be made here in the thread if you think it's something a lot of people might be asking.
- Rules list may update over time.

Not exactly a rule, but I'll generally handle any character issues via PMs so we don't clutter the thread up too much.

Basic Technology:
- Infantry scale equipment is limited to kinetic projectiles and launchers in general. PDAs, smart phones, etc. are common. Lesser ("Simple") AIs are not as common, but not outside the realm of possibility for the wealthy/connected.
- Infantry have access to powered armour as well. Class I is common, little more than an augmented battle suit. Class II is closer to Fallout style powered armour. Class III is more robust and customizeable, similar to Battle Armour from Battletech. Class IV exists but is special request only.
- Cybernetics should generally be limited to limb/organ augmentation or replacement, but bear in mind that the technology is not advanced enough to appear exactly human.
- Robots and Androids do not at this time appear human; Androids have the humanoid shape in general, but still appear largely synthetic. Robots can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and as such have a greater access to internal/external equipment. Both are generally slaved to a master AI, and do not have True Sentience.
- Vehicles come in several classes. Class I vehicles are generally what you might expect to find in Modern times, albeit with the addition of low-tech mechs- Exosuits generally speaking, more than true Mechs. Class II includes more futuristic vehicles, Super-Heavy Tanks, Hovercraft, and generally enhanced capabilities. Class II mechs would be similar to Front Mission style and capabilities. Class III is generally reserved for the latest type of combat mechs, which are more varied, but generally follow the construction rules of Battletech. Class IV exists again, but is special request only.


Faction Basics:
Corporations: The Corporate powers that have spread to control all of Terran space are numerous, and not exactly united in purpose. Even with the threat of rebellion brewing, the Temporary Unity Treaty is almost an afterthought. With the promise of new acquisitions on the horizon, most Corporations are seeking only to further expand their areas of influence. The following list are the major players in this region, but does not represent an all-encompassing list.

- General Diamond Arms & Munitions: Of the Big Players, GDAM (Gold Damn as they are sometimes referred to by detractors) is one of the most potent military forces operating in the sector, and have the economic backing to boot. GDAM controls most of the habitable surface in Pardus.

- Kaali & Ornsteig Inc.: Formerly a subsidiary of Central Solar Corp (As Kaalikot Arms & Armour), KaOr rose to prominence during the last Corporate War by absorbing significant chunks of assets from their parent corp as well as surrounding opponents. With relatively strict military protocols and a greater focus on loyalty, KaOr has become one of GDAM's primary opponents. They hold many of the mining outposts in Pardus.

- Lowe-Pike Conglomerate: Technically the 'rightful rulers' of Pardus sector, having been in control of it and the surrounding region since before the first Corporate Wars. LPCO's focus has been predominantly on industry and agriculture, leaving them relatively defenseless against the other powers in the sector, but with plenty of support in the civilian and Mercenary sectors. LPCO controls the sector's main naval base, as well as significant portions of the habitable surface.

- Terran Entertainment Corporation: Founded on the basis of free information, TECO still generally serves to keep the people informed throughout Terran space, albeit generally painting themselves as crusaders of virtue and justice in the meantime. TECO does not have any major holdings in the sector, but do maintain bases and satellites for extra-solar communications.

- Arn Consortium: ArCo was all but destroyed in the last Corporate War, being limited to their home sectors, which happened to have extremely high maintenance costs to keep going. Due to this fact, none of the larger corporations wanted to make them a subsidiary, leaving ArCo with a pile of debt and no way to handle it. As such they have begun to expand into an "officially sanctioned" Black Market business model, and maintain stations to serve this purpose throughout space... if one knows where to look.


Civilians: Anyone who doesn't explicitely identify themselves as a member of one of the Corporations is labelled, with varying degrees of disdain, a Civilian. With the extortionate taxing and limited benefits to Corporate controlled Unions, and the limited amount of well paying work to be had, the vast majority of people in the sector tend to be Civilian class.
Civilian jobs can range from anything as simple as tending fields and corporate sponsored asteroid mining, to fighting in various arena-style games in the hope of being noticed by a Mercenary company, which is one of the few ways for someone to travel beyond their home star.

Traders: Often called Rogue Traders, Trade Captains do not serve the interests of any one Corporation, instead having been granted legal right to fly under their own flag and trade throughout Terran space as they please. The amount of agency granted to these individuals is worrisome for many Corporations, but a necessity to ensure relatively peaceful trade can be made, with profits acceptable to all parties involved. With the rising tensions in Terran space many Traders have begun to join various internal alliances, secretly storing weapons and hiring mercenaries to help the oppressed Civilian classes.

- Trade Coalition, Trade Order, Trade Conglomerate: Collectively referred to as the Rogue Trader Alliances, these various organizations are generally kept secret from the public (corporate) eye. Their exact doings are unknown, but each has specific objectives and plans to handle the fast approaching conflict.

Mercenaries: Mercenaries have been used throughout history as a means for powers and people to establish an immediate force for whatever purpose they might have. The Corporate wars have been no different, with various mercenary units taking part in invasions, defensive actions, and espionage. While most Mercenaries prefer to fight for the highest bidder, some have more altruistic motives. Especially as the new war approaches, many Mercenaries seek to bolster their numbers with capable Civilians. Regardless of their politics, Mercenaries are expected to adhere to the rules of the Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission, MRBC.


Brief description of Pardus:
I planned to have a map ready, but I've been encountering some difficulties. Nevertheless, here is a brief layout of the sector.

A Naval base has a wide orbit of the local star, Pardus. It is controlled by Lowe-Pike.
Five planets are located around the star, two of which fall in the habitable zone. One is currently habitable, being Chored. It also has two moons which are in the process of terraforming (Gaieon and Etapa) and an orbital space station. The other four planets have mining colonies and some stations. The world is currently contested by several powers.
An asteroid belt separates the planets from the surrounding space, which is also home to a number of minor space stations and mining operations.
Distantly is Pardus VI, a gas giant with six moons and an orbiting research station, the Antioch.
I apologize for the lacking information, but can answer questions requiring more detail.

For the 'Current Location' section of your character sheets, ideally choose one where you plan to be at or near the start; you don't have to state 'Space near Antioch' if you plan to be on Antioch shortly after you begin.

General Personality Traits:
Alois rarely speaks to anybody, save for his contractors. People can't decide whether or not this is just because he's mean, or whether or not he had some "tragic" past. The actual answer is because he's mean. Alois is antisocial by nature, and tends to keep his own company, but can be friendly when called for, and puts on a slightly less hostile facade in the face of potential work. He rarely works in teams, and when he does, he is almost always completely silent.

Early Life:
Betelgeuse Theta, an old station belonging to ArCo, was Alois' birthplace, and would be his home for around 20 years. In this time, Alois received no (official) education, but did receive a lot of stories and general wisdom from a small mercenary outpost operating on the station. Many have taken the liberty to refer to BT as "A Merc's Paradise." Still, for the most part, he lived a relatively quiet life, and had a nice childhood.

Education/Training:
As mentioned before, Alois never received a true education, but learned about life as he progressed through it. He learned how to fire a kinetic energy pistol at age 11, and started working as a waiter for a local bar at 17. At 18, with his parents short on cash, Alois applied to be a mercenary.

The training program was brutal. In the period of 2 years, Alois learned everything he now knows about contracts, the factions, combat, etc. He still bears many scars from that period in time. However, Alois has explicitly stated that he would do it again in a heartbeat.

In his training, Alois achieved several medals in marksmanship, hand-to-hand combat, and even set a local record on the station for the hardest kick, which is yet to be beaten. Alois has gained documented proficiencies in the following weapons:

Adult Life:

  • Scout Configuration:​
    • Extremely high mobility and the smallest configuration, weakest armor. Uses batteries.​
    • Primary weapons (Dual wrist lasers): Instead of shooting a constant beam, it’s more like a semi automatic cannon that shoots a very powerful laser and requires to recharge for 10 seconds. The laser isn’t strong enough to penetrate through heavy armor, but with continuous shots it can begin melting the armor off.​
    • Tracker gun: It fires a small dart that attaches to the target and becomes camouflaged with the target while also having a incredible range.​
    • Fly missiles: not being able to carry large enough rockets is a problem, however malb carries around fly missiles, tiny missiles that stick to a target, dig into the target and detonate from inside of it, however it takes time and a weak emp can disable them.​
    • Thrusters: thrusters in this configuration are spread out in most parts of the body and the two main thrusters are extremely energy efficient and are able to move Malb at such a way that could kill a human due to the g-forces it would exert.​

  • Infiltrator Configuration:​
    • High mobility and decent armor, uses batteries.​
    • Camouflage: The layer of Malb becomes camouflage with the environment and wastes no energy while remaining still. When running the camouflage will have a delay and may even break Malb’s over if he isn’t careful.​
    • Voice changer: Malb can produce sounds previously heard like sound of animals or the sound of human speech in order to distract or deceive any possible targets into thinking it’s safe or something else.​
    • Electrical Discharge: Malbs non lethal way to takedown enemies by shooting two wires that connect to the target and knocks them out by sending electricity through it. With enough electricity sent it can also kill a person or disable large enough vehicles momentarily, though it is barely used due to the amount of energy it uses up. (basically a taser that can be shot out of Malb’s arms)​
    • Hidden blade: Two blades located at the top of Malb’s wrist which are hidden and can be extended to assassinate a target. The blade is very durable, but if it breaks there is a second one to replace it. The blades have nothing special aside from being very sharp, durable, and effective at assassination.​
    • Grappling hook: two grappling hooks attached to both Malbs arms. Able to move from place to place effectively and very quietly and can be used as a weapon or to pull an enemy closer.​

  • Tank Configuration:​
    • Heavy armor, comparable to an armored vehicle. Slowest mobility and uses reactor.​
    • Minigun: In Malb’s right arm a minigun is attached to deal with infantry units. The minigun fires a lot slower compared to normal miniguns but compensates by having larger shells and and more power into it. (Caliber: 8.2mm)​
    • Rocket launcher: on Malbs left arm a rocket launcher is attached meant to deal with heavily armored targets. The missile is homing, but can also be guided for targets that can’t be locked on, though it requires Malb to focus more on the target, but that isn’t too much of an issue. (rounds: 3)​
    • AA turrets: on Malbs back an AA turret is placed, it fires explosive shells to be able to hit any really fast moving aerial targets and even has the capability to act as an iron dome, though it isn’t always guaranteed to stop any incoming attacks.​
    • Switchable weapons: Compared to the other configurations, the Tank is able to carry and switch up weapons more than any other configuration, which makes it an ideal unit in the frontlines in battle and can even act as a big bodyguard with it’s shield and size even without weapons equipped.​

Tobias is quietly spoken and generally quite unassuming. He rarely jokes or laughs, preferring to conduct business and dealings in a professional and to the point manner, rarely bandying words or engaging in false pleasantries. This has made him quite an unlikeable individual, he’s not the sought of person you’d want attending your dinner party. To his men however Tobias is a commander of a quality that is rarely seen, refusing to throw men at a problem to their deaths, and happy to listen to grievances should they be submitted through the proper channels.



Early Life:

Tobias was born in the shadow of Olympus Mons, a born and bred Martian, red dust in his veins as the saying went. His parents both served in the local militia, formed by a small corporation (Mons Mining) who worked mines in the area, digging up the rare earth minerals within the rich earth of the huge volcano, it having been long tapped and plugged.


Education/Training:

Tobias, much like everyone on the planet, attended a corporation school. Soon earmarked into joining the military wing of the corporation given his parent’s position as well as their training. It soon became apparent however that in Tobias they had a special case. Though coming near the top of his class in personal combat drills, it was in the classroom and in leadership exercises that he truly flourished. Such a boy was clearly wasted in the equivalent of the local militia. Mons Mining recognised this, and the boy was near enough effectively sold, traded as a commodity to Central Solar Corp. Earmarked for their elite military training academy. From the age of 16 to 18 he trained there, in everything from small unit tactics, to space combat. At the end of his 2 years training he graduated top of his class, a commission in CSC’s military wing already guaranteed.


Adult Life:

For 20 years Tobias served CSC. Employed in everything from Corporate take overs to policing shipping and trading lanes. CSC often got around the T.U.T by having Tobias on the books on one of their numerous smaller subsidiaries, being small enough to remain unpunished by the terms of the T.U.T. By the end of his mandated 20 year tenure, Tobias was not only one of the most fearsome corporation military commanders, but had also built up a wealth of contacts and leads. He came to the logical conclusion, with CSC he was an incredibly valued member, however he was still limited to only them. Why limit yourself to one company, when you could always go private, or as he preferred it consulting. This was the start of forming his own Mercenary Company, his previous connections to the MRBC allowing him to quickly move through registration. His company, ‘The Red Brigade’, stood out for several reasons from the numerous other Mercenary groups. Backstory: Alexis was constructed in the early months of 2782 by GDAM's Autonomous Weapons Department (AWD). With most of their projects focused strictly on combat, in an anticipation for the next major 'War' to occur, commissions were made to design a gynoid capable of acting as a 'Courser' on the corporation's behalf- able to integrate into teams or operate as a solo agent in missions involving corporate espionage, assassinations, information/cargo retrieval, representations, bodyguarding, or other low-profile activities or Black Operations. Additionally, these prototypes were installed with personality subroutines concealed within their QMAC Chipsets; the reasoning for this action being that, should the prototype find itself integrated within a team, it will serve to boost morale of Human soldiers- and increase the combat effectiveness of the unit present. However, this subroutine was disabled and too expensive to rollback changes without having to re-do most of the software inside the QMAC, and as such, it was left inside.

In the department's records, Alexis's 'QMAC' Chipset was in production since 2077; originally designed as a Central Defense AI built to micromanage local security forces on colonies and settlements. Given the ambitious scope of the project and the complexity needed at the time, the idea was phased out instead for integration into a smaller-scale humanoid biped.

The first line officially was rolled out on July 4th, 2782 during a company party. Four prototypes were displayed on the floor for presentation. Upon activation, one of the prototype's miniature reactors detonated and destroyed the remaining three- the farthest one sent flying into the showroom's wall. The surviving automaton was extensively damaged across its synthetic body, but luckily, the internal components remained intact. Sending it back to the lab for an extensive examination, it would ultimately be another five months before the prototype was officially activated on December 21st, 2782. Personality: sandras is actually a rather, conserved about herself generally soft spoken and tend to just do her job and not say much to anyone if anything you could consider her socially disconnected, even when she does make "friends" she simply treats them like business partners.

Marsaravic on the other hand it a lot more vocal on his/it’s options while never openly out to put Sandra in harms way Mars is not above getting her beat up a little so he can prove his point

Background: Sandra is a interesting person diagnosis with a debilitating genetic diseases in her motor cortex, requiring extensive body modding to repair it, this process was of course extremely expensive, this process was subsided by a experiment form TEC they would give sandra the required cybernetics, as long as they allowed them to install a experimental AI, that was required for cohesive motors function with her damages brain. Of course she when through with it, and for many years this worked for her having the AI upgraded with a heads up display and scanning devices when she got an engineering job at the same company that had done her replacements. until about 8 years ago turns out the AI was rather malicious in its programming, almost viral in nature it had over the years interfaced and connected with the rest of her brain growing almost like a tumor using her mind as a processor and hijacking parts of her personality, developing an intelligence, a second person if you will. Calling itself Marsaravic he (yes for some reason it took Sandra’s more masculine traits developing a personality accordingly) began talking to her more not just functioning as a heads up display and just writing messages in text. with its tendrils in the part of her brain that processed audio so that it Marsaravic was literal able to talk to her, at first she was dismissive of him chalking it up to just work stress, although having your body slap you in the face tend to help make you realise that the voice in your head is real. Regardless both of them managed to work out an agreement Sandra wouldn’t go and erase him if he used his skill as a viral AI to help her work. This agreement went extremely well Sandra just had to hook herself up to a system and Marsaravic could go through it and both of them could fix the thing far more efficiently that manually looking. Although in the past 3 years Marsaravic has worked out how to take full control of Sandra’s body leading to what she assumes and bouts of random blacking out, where she would wake up with new modifications to herself a set of things she didn’t buy or nothing at all. She was recently fired from her job due to “unforeseen split personality disorder” especially after the newest addition to her a vocabulator used by Marsaravic to well, talk to others. Although this didn’t really put the duo off there where a lot of people in the private sector that were rather interested in their unquite skills in the field of “accessing hardware without a permit”. the real reason as to why sandra was fired was becuse TEC had moved onto the next stage of there experimenting with mars, release it onto the wild for further viral development, and becuse mars managed to dig up what they had planned for it and sandra, using it to break down other cyborgs ability to move there cybernetic replacements, so they have to by some sort of "anti-virus" or be under the TEC's command, mars being the malicious sort hope to prehaps take down the TEC, of course sandra didn't think it such a good idea so far they are currently floating on any ideas what will happen...only time shall tell

She learned a lot in data science, information technology, and mathematics. She would’ve graduated to become a part of TECO but her parents were too stubborn and would preferred if their daughter didn’t have to slave day and night for a company she may not enjoy working for. So they moved to Mars and there her parents formed Hershel Analytics. It was run by her mother who had skills in business management while her father was CTO. They were a corporate strategy firm and the market was in demand for data analysts and strategists during the second corporate war. Hershel Analytics became a staple on Mars and new offices had opened across the planet. CSC took a huge interest in HA that they bought all their shares leading to a lot of financial success. CSC wanted to make HA into something they could use to get an edge over their rivals and competitors and rivals, they added espionage services to HA and Lindsay recieved training in espionage to lead their new service. Then a covert ops merc group led by Lindsay's uncle was added to HA thanks to CSC buying out their contract with the MRBC, they then changed their name to Nox Intelligence and Activities. By the time Lindsay was 29, she had become one of the top dogs at a very popular company that was known for intelligence gathering, corporate strategy and espionage, and covert ops.

Adult life: Lindsay’s husband was a merc under her uncle. Their paths would cross at Hershel’s main building and they would see each other a lot. They got married and had a boy and a girl, both a year apart. Life was pretty good for them until the closing of the second corporate war when Hershel was being requested for black ops missions and Lindsay would never see her husband who was always off planet. After a year of not seeing him, she heard from her uncle that he had gone missing during a skirmish against KaOr mercs. The black uniform for Nox operatives is used for sensitive and black operations. The uniform is also used when inside space vessels and can help the wearer survive in the harshest conditions except the vaccine of space. The helmet has a visor that can be toggled to protect the wearer from the elements. However, most times Nox operatives will wear standard body armor over civilian clothes.

Here is Oceania Naval Base, at the heart of the system and, more or less, the gateway by which visitors- be they Mercenary or otherwise- would likely be arriving.

And here is Research Station Antioch. At the moment the post is focusing on the two Synthetics who would be getting activated, as I do not believe any other characters will be there just yet. If anyone thinks it would make more sense for them to be there, then feel free to make your post or let me know you need an introduction.

While basically a washout at this point, Ray still espouses strong liberal views in about just about any context...besides military of course, where he is oddly supportive. Education/Training: Ray has a high school education. In his third year, he started an online activist channel which gained popularity due to its 'spicy hot takes'. He entered college and quickly found he intensely disliked the place, and in his second year dropped out after he decided his internet fame meant he didn't need a degree. Eventually, he made the jump to the silver screen on a talk show, and gained popularity as the host of various faux-activist shows and documentaries.

Ray has a measure of firearms training he took while doing coverage for some borderline illegal 'documentary' where they'd heckle harvesting vassals engaged in 'unethical' activities. At one point the TV crew was to 'team up' with a group of militant activists. The whole thing was mostly bullshit for good TV, but he still got some mileage out of it.

Adult Life: Ray married at the age of 30 to a screenwriter, but they eventually divorced due to finding each other too much of a pain to deal with. Lila has the kid (now aged 7), but they still remain on fairly amicable terms. With a fat wallet and a wealthy lifestyle, Ray is pretty much burnt out on enforcing actual social change. But doe their purposes to kill and main enemies their AI is more than sufficient,being highly perceptive and adaptable. Both dogs are constructed of heat-resistant titanium alloy and can travel at close to the speed of sound. World Peace is primarily designed for close quarters, with retractable blades which can extend to over a foot in its feet and tail. Human Rights on the other is armed with a blistering array or military-grade firepower.


Current Location: As one of TECO's representatives, Ray is among the leaders of the media presence above Pardus. Ray is currently being a nuisance with his crew aboard the orbital space station.

A rather laidback and seemingly simple person, Havel likes to do things by the book. A firm believer in the idea of the Great Chain of Profit, he has a sort of a love/hate feeling regarding the Corporations. While they do provide jobs and opportunities, they also trample upon the lives of the lowly workers and colonists for more profit. A lesson he knows on a personal level. For that reason, he shows a soft spot for Corporations that treats their workers fairly and the private cargo haulers, even giving them discounts for his services. That being said, he does dabble in grey contracts. Especially when their profit margin starts to fall. After all, a bankrupt mercenary group won't be able to function at all.

Early Life:
Born as the first child of a miner and a school teacher. The MacMillans called the relatively peaceful mining colony of New Arcadia their home. Being the eldest of the two MacMillan siblings, Havel was always there for his younger sister and they are described as being inseperable before Havel attended middle school.

Education/Training:
Like most eldest children of miners, Havel stopped his education at highschool before looking for a job. When he turned 18, he got his first job as a transport cart operator.

After 2 years of work, he quit the job and looked for a more profitable job due to unforseen circumstances. It eventually lead him to joining the colony militia. He received basic weapons training during his time as a militiaman before he passed the trials to be part of the militia air force.

For the next 3 years, he learned how to fly, polishing it to a fine art, and attracting the attention of a small aerial focused mercenary group. It was his time with the group where he managed to refine his skills and became the de-facto tactician.

During his last year with the group, he started piloting Class III mechs. Before that got anywhere, he and the rest of his squadron broke off from the group due to an arguement over ethics. It was after Gungnir Aerospace Security Corps was formed did he manage to complete his training in piloting mechs.

Adult Life:
As mentioned earlier, Havel started off by following in his father's footsteps as a miner. For two years, he worked alongside his father before a mine shaft collapse claimed the life of his father. Desperate for higher pay to support his family, he joined the colony militia with the goal of being part of its air force.

During his 3 years as a militiaman, he toiled away and trained hard to be selected for its air force trials. After passing the trials, he flew multiple patrol missions both in atmosphere and zero-g. It was during a training exercise with a mercenary group did his piloting catch the attention of their boss, a Corporate-backed meecenary pilot and extended an offer for Havel to join their ranks. All it took was the promise of better wages for him to accept it.

For the next 5 years, he flew under contract with this mercenary group in a wide variety of missions. Ranging from scouting to escort, and even precision bombing of rival corporate assets. It was during these missions did he finally realize how dirty the mercenary group was. Bombing militia bases and disabling escort ships was one thing but destruction of colonies and factories was something Havel couldn't stomach. So he left, along with a group of like-minded comrades and deserted the group, taking their planes and a transport ship with them. It was during this time when Havel got back in touch with an old friend. A friend who inherited her biological father's Energy Company. With a little financial support and a small crew, Gungnir Aerospace Security Corps was born.

For the next 10 or so years, they slowly grew from a small, unimpressive band of misfits to a well-respected security group with 3 jump capable carriers with its own fleet of planes, mechs, and support. Havel went from a mere ideological nugget to a well-seasoned veteran in command of his own battlecarrier, the ISC Shrike. His new mission, to protect the helpless and support the trustworthy Companies from corporate greed and exploitation.

Born with smooth pale skin, white hair and red eyes, at 5'10". Anyone could easily classify Sarcoline as albino, however she doesnt share many of their characteristics leading her to believe she actually isnt. Often she is seen with a lab-like white coat with casual wear underneath, and is rarely seen without some form of handgun by herside.

Mental Profile:
On the outside, and to people that dont know Sarcoline, she is noted to be a very selfish individual, only doing things only if it benefits herself. While to those who are close to her, or at the very least, under her employment, start to realize that there is more to her than a simple selfish woman. As if it was a facade to distance herself emotionally from everyone around her, always with a calm and collected demeanor it may be hard to figure out what exactly she is thinking. The reality is just as true, she cares for those under her responsibility, and she hates it, the calm and collected demeanor is as much for others as it is for herself. Her sister is the only one that Sarcoline has opened up with, and perhaps the only one that has seen her outside of her calm state. Though she cares for those under her responsibility, she has started to distance herself from the feeling, though the pain lingers, everytime it happens it becomes more dull.

- Hobbies/Interests:
Sarcoline often keeps up with the most recent updates in the technology industry, particularly on the most powerful computers, stealth technology, and AI. Almost always on her PDA keeping up to date with all things, she usually attempts to ignore those around her while keeping tabs on the faces she sees. When Sarcoline goes out, it is usually to let off some inbuilt steam or to shop for items and equipment, or to get company deals and discounts when the opportunity arises. She has never been very fond of public gathering areas, though she sometimes has to go there, either when the situation arises or when her sister drags her to places.


Early Life:
Earth born, and orphaned, Sarcoline had no one else to count on, other than her older surrogate sister, Raura. Though being in the home world of humanity, it was a shadow of its former self, Anarchy was rampant, and the surface was full of warlords vying for power, either for their own gain or for their ideologies. Though throughout the chaos everywhere around them, Earth was full of self-righteous people thinking only they can bring back what was once was, clinging to history and old ideals. Though they fended for themselves, throughout the years various organizations took them in as they saw the two as nothing but lost children, her older sister did everything she could to provide for Sarcoline, mostly physical work, working for the different military's either as a child soldier or to simply spy on the other side as a unassuming refugee. All the meanwhile Sarcoline worked safer areas as her sister instructed her, cooking or cleaning, during these times she would peak into what the leaders would be planning, normally they didn't care what the child was doing, only when it came to more vital things. Several leaders even took a liking to the pair, and taught them how to read and write though most stayed away from her sister who though was in the front lines often always came back. Raura was much more feral than her sister many thought though Sarcoline new it wasn't the case, she was far more distrusting of everyone else besides Sarcoline.

Life on the big blue planet was short lived when a off world mercenary company came for one reason or another, perhaps the head of the organization that currently housed Sarcoline and Raura had angered a company up above, perhaps they simply came to raid. Their purpose for attacking the organization that Sarcoline and Raura was never made clear to either of them, and they had never bothered to ask. They came and attacked the headquarters, thankfully they seemed to be focused on a show of force and taking out any thing that will threaten them rather than exterminate, for a while they occupied the headquarters. Raura and Sarcoline took refuge within the vents and small rooms using their small frames while Raura went off to find food and a way out of the building without being seen. Sarcoline simply listened and eavesdropped into the mercenaries conversations, and found out what Raura had actually been doing. Raura had been ambushing the unsuspecting mercenaries injuring them for the most part, occasionally killing some, and now there was a search for her in the vents.

Upon learning of Raura's activities when she was away from her Sarcoline was so shocked that she hadn't noticed she slipped up, making sounds and getting herself caught, when they confirmed she wasn't the child they were looking for but the sister, they used her as bait. Predictability, Raura fell for it, using Incapacitating rounds, they knocked Raura out, the seeming to be leader of the mercenary company, looked at the two sisters, their stark differences made it obvious they werent from the same parents. Awkwardly the Captain seemed to Admire Raura and her efforts, when Sarcoline blurted out that she was only doing everything to protect her. Either as an act of compassion, pity, or to simply fill in the ranks that Raura made vacant, the captain took the two sisters in. The first few days were rough, the two were simply kept in a cell and given food regularly, Sarcoline had to calm Raura down and nurse her wounds in her stomach, while the captain came in to attempt to reason with the feral child and her less feral sister. While unsuccessful for the first few times, eventually the sisters gave in, Raura became obedient, as long as Sarcoline was safe, and Sarcoline being more timid never really caused a ruckus.

Education/Training:
Sarcoline has had education from three main sources, the first being old earth bound books, mostly detailing the history of humanities home-world in an attempt to indoctrinate her, but rather serving the opposite seeing these old governments as mistakes and are what lead to what is now. The second source were when she was recruited into the mercenary company, mostly text books on basic math and computer sciences that Sarcoline absorbed quickly and without a second thought. The third source was when was more herself reading about tactics used through out the ages past, letting her formulate on what was most efficient, and how to adapt strategies quick and fast. Though these were the main sources of her education, Sarcoline often seeks out knowledge that she thinks is useful wherever possible.

Though trained at a early age on how to handle firearms of all sorts, she never truly liked to handle them, competent with the trigger and accurate on the targets she aims for. Her true calling came in with precision fire, rather than target saturation, and more importantly, electronic warfare. She had a knack with computers, either from her abilities to quickly learn, or simply from all the knowledge she seeks out, it had made her a valuable asset growing up, and continuing to be for her mercenary company. Developing new methods for old problems and helping in R&D.

Adult Life:
Life as a mercenary offered long periods of comfort compared to her original home, learning about how things worked outside of earth, and training to be a more effective soldier. There were short and terrifying moments that reminded her of her home though, during jobs in small conflicts, fighting the other-side the only comfort during these times was her sister who didn't seem slightly bothered. It didn't mean that she wasn't a bad soldier, simply, she was discontent with her current way of life and was frustrated at the state of the new world she lived in. It was much better than the earth she grew up in, but it could be much better, right now everything was stagnant with the corporations in power she couldn't move beyond being a mercenary due to her whole life essentially being one. That, and she couldn't just leave her sister.

As the two grew up together they made a name for themselves, not only to their parent mercenary company, but also to the rest of the MRBC, both as a pair, and their own individual talents. Sarcoline, with her talents in both electronic warfare, long range accuracy, mech piloting abilities, and leadership in a tactical scale, with yet unproven leadership in strategic warfare. Raura, in her physical abilities, close quarters combat, ability to move upon the ground without leaving any trace, and sharing with her sister, piloting abilities. Throughout their time in the company, they saw it grow and grow but Sarcoline saw before hand that this growth couldn't be sustained, and she was right. Soon it started to struggle paying its soldiers, even finding jobs, they had to outsource most of their soldiers to other companies, to which started Sarcoline and Rauras reputation within the MRBC. Before the company fell into ruin the two left to make their own, a few of the vets followed, other non-content mercs that had either fought alongside the two or simply heard of the two came to them.

And thus, Wraith Espionage & Intelligence Security Services, WEISS. Was formed. Pooling their money together Raura and Sarcoline had to use what was given to them and what was brought with the mercs. Eventually they took a a couple of low paying but easy maintaining guard duty jobs, and giving their most trained and effective operatives more, black market jobs. Juggling between legal and illegal services they built quite a foundation for themselves, Offically they used their Electronic warfare capabilities and highly trained infantry divisions to protect corporations through both cyber warfare tactics and suppressing or guarding colonies. Unofficially they took out annoying bases that corporations didn't want around, or infiltrating a building to get some information someone wanted, or erased sensitive information that leaked out, killing a annoying whistle blower, finding moles within a corporations ranks. Needless to say their blackmarket dealings offered them more pay than their official dealings. Of course they also dealt with open armed conflicts, with their skirmish tactics being some of the best in the field, at least against unknowing and under equipped opponents.

Early Life: one of the descendants of the family that left Earth to live in the Chored of Pardus Sector, not much is known about Julius's life as it became a distant memory to him and the family but his most of his early life grew up in the Junkyard Workshop place that his family owned alongside his siblings, tinkering with Junk and scraps and piles of Junkyard metals, reusing them or restoring them, however, Julius realized that this life is a bit too boring for him and wanted to go around in an adventure to which his father accepted his decision.

Education/Training:
few years prior to his decision to go on a Mercenary journey he studied in Grade to high school before returning to his homestead.

Before joining a party of mercenaries that worked for the MRBC, he was personally trained by his father in using weaponry and piloting upon discovering that he was a veteran of a war many years ago, Alfonse trained Julius in the matters of warfare and being calm in battle, upon encountering the band of mercs, bade farewell to his family and joined the MRCB where his training became even more intense but was obviously picked as one of the elite after the party of mercenaries vouched for him as they knew he was personally trained by a war veteran.

Adult Life:
its been 3 years since being inducted in the group and life as a Mercenary has given him the life he felt that he wanted, becoming one of the Mech aces of the mercenary company due to his mech piloting abilities, however like all things, it has an end, the Mercenary group started to decline from its former glory, it started to struggle paying its soldiers, even finding jobs, they had to outsource most of their soldiers to other companies to the point even his work as an ace started to decline as he found himself being underpaid and lacking jobs, feeling dissatisfied and betrayed by the company, he realized something must be done and that's when he heard that a few band of mercs that decided to leave the company, Julius joined them and served with them before leaving temporarily to tie up some loose ends after finding out that going AWOL from old group had him marked for termination.

In the days leading to his return to the now formed W.E.I.S.S, Julius stumbled upon an abandoned wreckage which contained a mech of unknown origin, bringing it back home with him via smuggling with his old friends, they started to revive the old mech and replacing the old and damaged with new until it was fully operational to which Julius found out about its nuclear payload. planning on getting back on the grid, Julius managed to reconnect to his old friends in the now Mercenary company, W.E.I.S.S, and officially joined them, albeit with the new mech that he found and became its sole Ace pilot.
