Federally mandated superpower training - what could go wrong?
Welcome, player! Aegis: Training Facility 108 is a superhero roleplay that takes place in Baltimore, Maryland in the year 2040. In this story, superhumans have existed for just as long as regular humans. They were seen as gods and prophets, shamans and witches and psychics, demons and monsters. But as scientific method and the field of biology developed and matured, we came to understand superpowers in terms of physics and genetics instead of as magic and superstition.
The primary focus of the story is the titular Facility 108, one of many Aegis-owned and operated training facility for newly identified supers. Most of you will be playing students at this facility – and I use the term “students” loosely, as powers can manifest at almost any age – simply trying to get through federally mandated training and learn how to live a normal life.
Well… as normal a life as you can have, when you have superpowers and fight evil terrorists.
