For thousands of years certain humans have been blessed with the gift of Immortality and a single, unique power. No one knows how the individuals are chosen, just that they are chosen between the age of fifteen and fifty five. Once, long ago their identities were public knowledge, and people cheered every time a new immortal was discovered, however they soon faded out and society forgot them all together.

Some immortals isolated themselves in a fit of depression, some traveled the corners of the earth looking for a way to die, others were behind history's greatest points, both the good and the bad. Still, others continued about their lives, either unaware of their power or trying to live as normally as they can with the knowledge that they can't die. No matter which path they chose most immortals get together every couple of years to have a drink, or for those who are actually underage, chat with others like them. Most cannot stand each other however, conflicts stemming from different time periods and upbringings. They still attend though, whether to pick a fight with someone else, or for the company it gave them. Today is the first time they get together in seven years.
