The cute sexual one
I was wondering if you would consider adding in new heading for the roleplay section such as:

Horror

group role-plays

Jump in Role-plays

as well as an area to advertise role-plays

Unfortunatly this message is short but here

We actually have an area to advertise role plays - Interest Checks.

As of right now, we don't have tags such as those - though we used to! This is addressed in RPN's FAQ, which I really recommend you read.

Why aren't there tags for roleplays like Paranormal' date=' Steampunk, or etc.?[/b']
Roleplays are grouped in accordance to their setting.

The staff is working on getting site tags back in order to label roleplays as Historical, Post-Apocalyptic, Paranormal, etc. But for now, we only have the blanket genres to offer.

Horror roleplays are more like a sub-genre in respects to Fantasy, Science Fiction, Realistic and Fandom. It is not necessary for the site to create another header that is all ready compensated for.

Group roleplays are simply under either of the four main genres on the site and are given prefixes from Simple, Casual, and Detailed. The Simple prefix was made for users who create roleplays with low levels of plot development and character development, and also provides users the opportunity to create jump-in roleplays if they desire. This thread will explain all of the prefixes in detail.

Our site also has an entire recruitment section separate from the roleplays.

There are way too many sub-genre's to make sub categories for, What we do to one section such as Fantasy we also have to do for Modern, Fandom and Futuristic as well as 1x1 RPs That's major 5 forums that would all need sub-categories which could be broken down into anything (Horror, Steampunk, Historical, Achademy, Supernatural, Ect.) And those are just some general ones. You also have Setting specific ones, for example Fandom (Game, Anime, Movie, Book, TV, etc.)

That's not even counting the ones who span multiple genres like a School based RP which has Steampunk, supernatural and horror elements. A lot of RP span several spectrum's of sub-genre, some span all of them at once.

Overall it would be a lot of work to try and maintain such a system and make sure the right RP are in the right category.

For entire sub categories possibly not, But as stated in the FAQ we are working on trying to get a tag system which can help for searching out specific types RPs much easier.
