Shade was not happy. Like so many he'd initially disregarded the Virus Extermination Act. They'd thus far been unsuccessful in dealing with the top ranked Viruses, so why should this be any different? Well, that was before nine of the top 25 dropped like flies. Whoever was hunting them down knew what they were doing. Even he, who was known for being particularly slippery, no longer felt safe. That was the only reason he'd accepted the invitation from Destiny Weaver. Her, being a cartel boss, and him a top tier thief had run into each other before, but he didn't remember anything remarkable from it. Still, it looked as though other high ranking viruses would be there as well. The top five, at the very least. He'd worked with Epsilon on multiple occasions as both Shade and Nick, but had never met Viper or Angel. Truth be told, he was a bit anxious about meeting them. It wouldn't surprise him if either had accepted a target on himself. That was assuming this whole thing wasn't a trap.

When his underling from the Shadow League brought him the letter, he was certainly skeptical. Even though he'd been assured it had been delivered using the most secure rout in the underworld, he triple checked everything. As things were with the Extermination Act, he couldn't guarantee that any of his connections weren't compromised. He'd scouted out the meeting location periodically over the past several days to be extra safe. Right now his plan was to stick to the shadows and wait for until he was sure the location wasn't compromised before revealing himself. With the power of the dark stone, not even Epsilon should be able to detect him.

Marcela sat on the floor with legs crossed and her mind clear of all stress, although she was thinking of her upcoming guest she was not allowing all of their situation to stress her instead using this time to meditate. They were all in danger,4 out of the 5 more so. The Extermination Act was a huge problem for all of the viruses but somewhat what intelligent, at least that is what Marcela thought,"Ma'am, your guess will be here soon...," One of Marcela's servants looked at his master as she lifted her body from the floor,"Is your plan to horrify them into working with you or killing themselves?" The man quickly slammed the door shut as one of Marcela's fan pierced it a little too close for comfort for most people, but he was used to it. Marcela walked over to the closet pulled a simple white dress over her head. The younger looking woman pinned her hair into a bunned as she looked into the mirror. Marcela flourished one of her fans in front her face and giggled at herself,"You are a gift to this world your beautiful creature!"

Destiny Weaver was her moniker she inherited, but it was something she made infamous. She looked out from the bedroom window down on the people moving on the street; this was not her home but it was a nice meeting place. It was tucked neatly inside the residential area of Kepet. Destiny Weaver had bought the building as Marcela and it was not strange to see a young woman with a decent business to buy a home, but that was just a cover to hold this meeting. She had invited the top 5 viruses to discuss the events that were going on. Marcela moved to the 1st floor to take a seat the table in the middle of the main room, were her freshly brewed tea was sitting,"Ahh!"She hummed with cheer. Marcela looked through the glass,"Hmmmm......I wonder.....Epsilon will be here I'm sure if she isn't already listening.....Viper,Shade, and the illustrious Angel........Ugh....This could turn out very bad if Viper and Angel have a contract for my head....Could I take them both?"Marcela thought about the incoming viruses a little. The cartel boss popped up from her seat,"HELL YES! As father always said, I can do anything I put my mind to!"She screamed as she did her usual internal monologue out loud like the natural weirdo she is.

Epsilon
"Marcela, darling, I could hear you from a mile away." A familiar voice could be heard from just outside the cartel boss' door, the words dripping with thinly veiled amusement.

Should Marcela choose the open the door, she would be met with the sight of Epsilon, or Chrysa Dimitriou, as most people know her to be, adorning a delighted smile upon her lips. The broker was out of her usual bar uniform, and was instead wearing simple traveller's garb, though she still had her chakrams with her, along with the dagger at her left boot. Taking a closer look, however, Marcela would likely notice the distinct lack of the earplugs she usually wore. Which can only really mean one thing.

Though she would never admit to it, Chrysa has been sporting some pretty severe headaches these past few days, trying to figure out who or what has been picking off the top viruses one by one. Unfortunately, however, she hasn't gotten any concrete information yet, just a couple of baseless rumors and false leads, something that really grated on her nerves. She wasn't one to let such things get to her, though, but she did remove her earplugs more often, just in case she misses anything of important. A risky gander, one might say, especially in a large city such as Kepet. She knew her limits, however, and will make sure to abide by them.

Hazel paced the corner, glancing around nervously and wringing her hands. Since the Virus Extermination Act had come into play, she hadn't had very many contracts. She hadn't even been sent after the other important viruses yet, such as Shade, Epsilon, Viper, or Destiny Weaver. It was time to pick one her herself.

"Miss? Are you alright?" A man asked.

Hazel turned to face him, fighting a smug smile as her target sealed his fate. "Oh! Umm, I was supposed to meet a friend here. But... He hasn't shown up, and I really don't want to walk home alone," she said, stepping closer and batting her eyes. Child's play.

"I could walk you home, miss," the man offered.

Hazel grabbed his arm. "Oh, you would? I'd truly be indebted to you."

"Really, it's not a problem, he insisted as Hazel led the way.

She led him down increasingly empty streets, until they were in a dark allyway between two abandoned buildings. As soon as she insured they were completely alone, she deliberately stumbled. Predictably, he caught her. As he did so, she cut his throat. He fell to the ground, and she patiently waited for him to bleed out. He tried to stem the blood flow with his fingers, covering his wedding ring in blood. He gurgled, trying to steal before finally dying. She dropped a feather from a pouch on her pocket and walked away. She headed home to retrieve her mask, boots, and Angel of Death cloak. She had a meeting.

Since the Virus Extermination Act was made Scarlet had been taking every precaution to avoid any detection what so ever, she wasn't pleased about the act but she lived with it and managed to at least continue to take out her hits with out much of an issue. But receiving an invitation to meet up with a few of the surviving viruses didn't exactly sit well with her, then again the way she got the invitation wasn't exactly safe all the time considering the situation but it was good for now. Looking at it she recognized the names of who was going to be joining the meeting, she had heard of all of them but has never worked with any of them surprisingly then again there is always a first for everything.

"This is certainly going to be interesting" Scarlet spoke with a soft tone whilst placing the invitation and directions to the meet up place into her pocket, she grabbed her hood and placed it over her head to then duck into the alleyway close by. When ever she moved she kept her head down making sure she was gone before anyone could really notice that she was there, it was much easier to take out targets that way as well but for now she needed to get to the meeting with out being noticed. Even with the city being as big as it was avoiding detection and getting to the place where she needed to be was easy enough but of course Scarlet to the precaution of walking around for a bit making sure she wasn't followed, the last thing they all needed was to be caught.

Shade moved from rooftop to rooftop. Perhaps this move was a bit risky, but he used the power of the shadow stone to hide and muffle his movements as best as possible. Besides, he'd learned over the years that people tended not to pay much attention to rooftops. They were all too concerned with what was right in front of them to be bothered with what may be lurking just above. He continued traversing the city via rooftop, using the twisting of the roads to his advantage. From his scouting earlier the building appeared to be clean, but this was no time to be sloppy.

He reached the house just in time to see a familiar figure enter. So at the very least Epsilon was here. That meant this wasn't a trap solely designed for him, at the very least. That meant this was either legitimate, or the house will be ambushed by heavy firepower to eliminate them all. This did not put him at any more ease. Once he was sure the road was clear he shifted into shadow mist and launched across the street. He shifted back in time to grab the window frame on the second level and brace himself against the brick wall. Next he worked the window open, which only took a few seconds, and used shadow mist to enter once it was cracked open. He left the window cracked open just in case he needed a quick escape. Still in shadow mist form, Shade moved across the room, into the hallway, and to the top of the staircase. Here he could see the front door and listen in. Satisfied, he melted into the shadow and waited. If all went well he'd reveal himself, but if not then it'd be like he was never even here.
