Erith is comprised of 8 primary regions. If a region has a capitol it also has an Overseer. These act as the primary rules for the region, enforcing the King's rule. The entire country is about the size of Mainland Europe (not including Russia, Finland, Sweden, or Norway).

  • Magic works in a roundabout way. No one can learn to hold fire (or other magical thing) on their own. Instead they must use Relics. Relics hold a very specific power. Some, as you will learn, are much more powerful than others. I highly encourage you to create your own Relic. We'll sort out the details in a PM and I will add it to this list.

This section is for miscellaneous information.
  • The setting is a fantasy medieval, but entering a steampunk age. Erith has a substance that responds to nerve impulses, so it has been used to help create artificial limbs. They are often fairly clunky and not as efficient as a normal limb, but some need them. Making auto-limb requires years of study and is not something you can just "pick up" for personal use. You can learn a fair bit to help with it's upkeep, but don't expect to be making your own. Automatons are in the works, but no one has given them intelligence yet. Most of the technology is used for clock towers and the like.
  • Time moves much faster on Erith, but Terans still age according to Earth. This means they age incredibly slowly, living to about twice as long as an Erithian. The offspring of a Teran becomes more in tune with Erith's time and age faster as a result.
  • Sometimes the transfer process from earth to Erith is flawed. Those who arrive with flaws are considered to be glitched. These glitches can be either physical or mental, but physical glitches are considered more common because it is easier to diagnose. They can be as extreme as missing entire limbs, but more commonly certain body parts just no longer work. Mental glitches alter the person's behavior. The most agreed upon mental glitch occurs when the person simply loses most of their mental capacity.
  • Guns do not exist on Erith, but not for lack of trying. Gun powder does not exist and people struggle finding a material that can create the controlled explosion necessary to propel a projectile without losing their hand.
