Confederate: Graduates hired to pose as students for the purposes of closely monitoring students. Are often part of tests. For example, if there is a test so difficult that cheating is required to pass, confederates are included in the exam so that students can cheat off of them; however, if students are caught cheating, they will automatically fail. One confederate exists for every four students.
