Other Inspiration and slumps :/

So, I've hit a major creative slump recently. I just can't seem to find any inspiration for new RPs, or the motivation to start writing when the time comes! I'm looking for some advice here: where do you get your inspiration for RPs, and how do you motivate yourself to write them?

I just came out of a vanish-ment on this site for like..Half a year since actually doing any real roleplaying (Tried to do a little but dropped off again). Kinda slumped and didn't feel like I wanted to RP or was up to it anymore. And the best advice I can give is to just start doing something, If you want to start and get out of a slump, which I assume you do by posting this. Then you already accomplished the first step. Which is wanting to get out of it!
