Copper first hatched in the care of a middle aged human wizard who wanted to pass all of his knowledge on to another, yet failed to find a proper student until Copper showed a great aptitude for it. Growing up, she was fascinated by trinkets and magical oddities. She wanted to collect them and learn secrets from their existence in this world.

Copper's scales have a hint of green in them, giving her a lustrous glow. The young wizard often feels like she struggles to engage others in conversation. She stammers and usually hides under her hood when she's embarrassed. On occasion she may need help from someone she trusts to handle a task she's too nervous to handle herself. She enjoys finding new books and scrolls, especially if they hold secrets to new treasures she can dig up.

Sir Valentin Deschamps is the son of Sir Louise Deschamps and a knight serving Duke Maximilian. He was conceived years ago when his mother played a pivotal role in stopping a hoard of invading orcs. She slew the hoards Warchief and got first pick of the spoils. The Deschamps family were on the lookout out for new blood to revitalize there family tree so Louise took Karkazz the strongest son of the Warchief as her husband. It was easy as most orcs respect strength and karkazz was eager to have her as a wife. Valentin was the result of there union an proved himself to be a great warrior and well spoken noble. Being of age It was expected that he would start courting a young noblewoman and eventually marry her. But despite being the son of two renowned warriors his orc blood was a huge impediment to him courting anyone. Few nobles few keen to give their daughters away to a half orc groom. Mad, embarrassed and lovesick Valentin took up adventuring swearing to earn renown and respect as a knight errant.

Jacques Mizzrym is the child of a drow matron who had a period of fascination with a human slave brought back from a raid on a human settlement. Upon his birth, he was to be sacrificed to their dark god, but by luck or fate, his birth coincided with an attack by a rival drow house. His father seized this opportunity to flee with his infant son in the chaos. The two escaped to a major city and found themselves resorting to thievery for food and shelter. Jacques found work running payments for the local thieves guild, and this work put him under the thumb of Saren Achtuo, a human underboss of the guild. She was a master fencer who was in charge of underground gladiatorial bouts for the guild, and she took the boy under her wing. After years of training under her and fighting in the pits, he eventually began challenging actual duelists in the city before deciding that he craved more than this city could offer and decided to start a career as an adventurer in the hopes of finding glory and worthy opponents.
