Astoria Greengrass found herself at the Three Broomsticks Inn in Hogsmeade, dragged there by her older sister Daphne. She had no idea what she was doing here, tonight was a Slytherin reunion. The whole Slytherin gang would be here. As a former Ravenclaw and being two years younger than the rest of the group, Astoria felt out of place. Her sister had insisted however, and whatever Daphne wanted, she got. The Greengrass sisters were polar opposites, Daphne had honey blonde hair with a strawberries and cream complexion and green eyes. Daphne had always been popular at school, a Slytherin bully and best friends with Pansy Parkinson. Astoria on the other hand, had rich chocolate brown hair, hazel eyes and a paler complexion than that of her sister. The former Ravenclaws facial features were sharper than her sisters, with high cheek bones, wide eyes, arched eyebrows, and full lips. She had been an awkward looking girl growing up, up until she was about sixteen when her lips finally caught up in size to her eyes. She had now developed into a beautiful young woman although she was still in Daphne’s shadow.
Her blood curse made her a little extra pale and frailer than her sister. The possibility of an early demise made Astoria quieter and more contemplative than her sister. She kept walls around herself to make sure no one got too close as relationships of all sorts were not a priority for Astoria while she had her curse to break. In fact, attempting to cure herself was what she had been doing since her Hogwarts graduation and her 18th birthday, a few months ago. Travelling around Europe and researching both Healing and Dark Magic in an attempt to break her curse or at least find some answers.
The Greengrass sisters walked into the establishment, the bell ringing as they entered. They were the first ones there, much to Daphnes chagrin. The two young women headed to an empty booth. Astoria took off her coat, and placed it on the bench. She wore a black cocktail dress with tight sleeves and matching black high heels. The dress fell to just above her knees and had a neckline that was low but not too low, a pearl necklace lined her neck. Her hair was pulled up out of her face in a high messy bun. She wore minimal makeup, just a bit of mascara and some red lipstick that seemed to bring out the sparkle in her eyes. Telling her sister, she would get drinks Astoria headed to the bar just as the bell rang again, signaling the entrance of others. Loud voices filled the inn as Pansy Parkinson, Millicent Bulstrode, Theodore Nott and Blaise Zabini entered. Spotting Daphne, the group of Slytherins headed to the booth and excited loud conversation erupted as everyone greeted each other. Astoria ordered two butterbeers one for herself and one for her sister but instead of heading back to the booth she decided to take a moment to herself before facing the group that had largely ignored her for most of their time at Hogwarts. Taking a seat on a bar stool, Astoria took a sip of butterbeer and became lost in her own thoughts as she swirled the butterbeer in her glass.
