Jennete

Suit Gangs Official Cuddle Buddy

Task One: Allies

Meet your other team members and get to know one another!

You can also get to know any Citizens or other gang members if you choose too. Attempt to make an alliance with the Freelance Merc run by @Jofune Tsurabisu. Whoever makes an ally first (a signed written agreement) gets the advantage point. Ask for an alliance and then tag me in that post.

Ex:

Bob: Hey you wanna be my ally?( @Jennete .look I could make an ally!!)

Jennete: (Ok Bob! You rolled an eleven you made the agreement! Way to go!)

or

Jennete: (Darnnit Bob! You rolled a one! How is that even possible with two dice?? No Ally for you!.)

Jofune will then be aligned with this group for all other tasks but can choose to become rogue and align with a new group starting task three, if the RP takes him that way. I pick on Jofune because I can. :)

The city was quiet...

The sun rose and it's golden rays hit the buildings, lighting everything up. From a distance... it was perfect. But like a painting, the closer you got... the clearer the chaos became. The clock struck and the 8 o clock am bell began its melodic chimes. The sound ringing throughout the whole metropolis. It sunk its way into the homes of the rich. Into the shops of its citizens. Through the cracks of the slums. Snaked through the windows of the abandoned buildings. It was the one thing that connected everyone... a bell to begin the day.

But this day was not the same as the others... this was the beginning of the end. Everyone could sense it...

This was the day the gangs would start their plans to take down the Mayor!

(I now open the RP!! You have till 11:59 pm ctc Saturday to complete your task. Sunday will be a free day for when I post the next Task at midnight. Ask all questions in the Rules section.)

Jean "Alpha" Thomasson

Hangovers were a bitch. Rolling over on his stomach, Jean grumbled as he buried his face deeper into the leather couch in his office. After waiting a few moments, he pushed himself up  rubbing his temples to aid his pounding headache. He needed coffee. Walking into the small closet in the office, he quickly pulled out a freshly pressed suit. to replace his wrinkled and stained one Changing quickly, he peered into the mirror on the closet door, as he tied his tie in rote. With a sigh, he ran a hand over his stiff neck as he made his way to the coffee machine. Starting the brew, Jean left it aside and turned around to his messy desk. Running a organization was tough shit, and his desk desperately reflected this as maps, random papers, and who knows what scattered the glass surface. Glancing down at his old watch, damn the two would be here soon. Running a hand over his cold eyes, ready for the sweet taste of caffeine to wake him.

(in Rules, I have Commented on when you need to roll. A lot of frequent questions will be answered there. If a question hasn't been answered, ask it there and I will answer really quickly because I have no life :)  )

Johnny "Beta" Lockland

Johnny walked to the building where the alpha was. Probably hung over,he thought. It was common knowledge, at least to the Beta, that the man loved alcohol. He wasn't one to argue. Beers were good shit if you could get your head out of your ass before something important.

He walked into the officer building. He saw neat papers stacked miles high on the front service desk. Most people didn't know of the battlefield behind the pretty face if the desk clerk. The units were pretty much mini-houses except they were much better furnished and more comfortable at least to the buyers. The units had great security and privacy and were great for unsuspecting meeting places. The problem was that most of them were wealthy drunks or some psychopath. He saw the desk clerk.

It was time to out on the face if charisma. Perhaps if he was lucky, he would get a date. He went up the the clerk with a cocky face. It was a new one so perhaps he would get a chance then with this clerk for a rowdy ride...Well he hoped.

"So miss, you look awefully beautiful," he said without a though, "come here often?"

((Pls, I must improve my character's flirting skills))

She walked downtown on her phone, the passersby's stopping to whisper and point. The guards surrounding her was drawing attention sure... but it was also the fact that the Mayor's daughter was about this early. She laughed at her phone, rolling her big blue eyes. Biting her lip she turned sharply down a street and the guards followed. Snow was, of course, notorious for ditching her guard and all Agents had received reports that something was going down in the city. She walked into a shop and headed straight for the restroom. Peeking on her high heeled boots, she saw guards outside the window...

"Damn, not falling for that again huh?" She sighed and thought for a moment before heading to the janitors closet in the back. Walking in, it was a big giant stone room. No exists. "Ugh..." She bit her lip a little and then got an idea, heading out and turning out the lights. Going to the stall, she climbed on top of the stool and popped off the vent cover, letting it fall right outside the window. She then went into the Janitors closet, peeking out... and screamed.

The Agents outside the window broke it in and climbed inside, guns raised. They noticed the vent cover and immediately were going into the vents. Agents from outside poured in, calling out for Snow, seeing the window smashed in, they poured out of it, the dark hiding the way they had come. In the dark, she ducked out in the confusion out the door and through the shop like nothing had happened. She winked at the store clerk who rolled her wrinkly eyes and motioned to the break rooms.

Snow walked out the side entrance and into the world, texting away. She had ditched the guards and they would be worried about the store and surrounding area too much to think she had made it out. Texting a private number, she told him the meet place for the drop-off. Those agents would never have let her score some coke.

--Lola Montez--

The suns early light made her feel warm. Warm and Sunny was pejorative to her night life. It also did not help that she was half naked, and had slept on her chaise lounge chair on the balcony. Empty beer cans, and bottles demanded her immediate attention. But cleaning would have to wait. It was time to make some money, or the bills would not be paid. She needed a shower first and then maybe some breakfast. She tossed her dirty laundry into the pile that once was a basket and turned the hot water on. After actually cleaning off, she grabbed her favorite plush towel, lit a cigarette and wrapped her hair in a towel turban to dry. She flopped on the couch and flipped channels until the morning news talking heads came on, and she decided to get motivated. After eating some breakfast, and changing into her usual attire, she grabbed up her laundry, and finished gathering the trash. Once her quick clean up was done, she dropped the garbage bag over the rail of her balcony into the dumpster below. Loading her car up with her clothes, she leaves for a few hours of seeding the underbelly of this city with her businesses card.

Dropping off the clothes at the Laundromat, she hits up the back alley dives, putting her card on peg boards by phones. Basically anywhere, and everywhere where people who could need her services and afford them, will find them. Lunch time finds her eating a hefty burrito while watching the city move at its own pace...

Lilly

img-thing

She walked down the street, a smirk on her face as she tossed her long black hair over her shoulder. She was in mandatory Black Wolf attire... looking nice, but not too nice to draw attention to herself. Her figure did that enough. She looked down at her watch, her purse filled with the drugs she stole from the powerful men and women she conned. Standing against a post she looked at the woman who was pinning her business card with everything. She grabbed it and looked at the name and what service she could provide. Hmm... this could prove useful if she showed it to one of the Betas. No chance in hell she would get this info close to the Alpha... but maybe they would rank her up. Oh, that would be nice. Looking down at her phone, her client texted her their location. Lilly did not fucking deliver. She texted back her location and where little miss rich girl could shove her coordinates.

Snow

Groaning, she rolled her eyes and began walking again... if she went too far away from the guards they would freak the flip out. Well... her father would. She jogged a little, her blonde hair waving in the wind. She saw her dealer, looking like a fancy escort, and headed towards her. "Hey, Lilly... Do you um.. ya know, have it? I'm throwing a party tonight so..."

Lilly

"Yea, I got it. It'll be $100 bucks per gram." She raised an eyebrow, her smirk ever present. Of course, it would be the group that specialized in secrets the little miss perfect went too for drugs. This blackmail information was locked tight in her vaults. Not even the betas knew. She just assumed Alpha didn't know if they didn't. He didn't visit much.

Snow

"What?! I can get this shit $60 a gram." She huffed, crossing her arms as she glared at the low life trying to swindle her.

Lilly

"Then, by all means Princess, go right on ahead. But you know and I know that this shit is the good shit. Hence the extra costs. Don't be cheap Daddy's girl." Lilly watched Snow as she growled and finally coughed up 1g for an ounce. She handed her the purse in her arms and nodded before walking off, tucking the money in her bra. "Nice doing business Snowflake." She called off as she turned a corner and vanished.

Snow

She groaned and took the purse, walking back down the street to where she had left all the Agents. They would be too worried about getting fired to report her... unless her dad's Agent was there. Or worse her own personal Agent. They knew their jobs were secure and didn't give a flying fuck if she tattled on how she had managed to get away. Please oh please oh please don't be there!

Vontell Haddock had woken up late, probably for the first time in his life, because last night he had a very nice dream. In his dream he was petting a cat, making friends with it, and the cat jumped up and killed two birds with one pounce. After checking his watch, he jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed. He ran into the living room to find Mrs. Whittington drinking a cup of tea while looking out of the window. Her grey eyes looked out, finding nothing interesting, but rested on a bluebird that had landed on the neighbor's roof.

"I am leaving. I'll pick up your medicine at the pharmacy. I'll see you late today." He rushed over, gave her a half-assed hug, and ran out before she could say anything. Vontell was easy to lose in a crowd, usually he lurked his way to the hideout or to his office without anyone ever noticing him. But today, he rushed down the street. Before turning onto the street where the hideout was, he slowed down. While keeping a quick pace, he made his way inside.

The floor looked cold. His footsteps echoed throughout the building. He wasn't sure of it, but he had a feeling that he was going to be reprimanded on being so late. Quickly walking forward, he spotted the other Beta. Vontell decided to watch him for a minute, just to see what he said. internal affairs of the Black Wolves was something he took great interest in. A relationship gone bad could present a issue later on. The mental health of his clan was, naturally, his top priority.

Agent Lewis

He sighed in annoyance, knowing exactly what the "emergency" downtown including Snow was. It was just a distraction. Anthony had gotten to know the girl too well by now to fall for the tricks that she pulled on the other agents. Seeing her blonde hair wade off into the crowd of people outside of where she'd "disappeared", he had followed her at a far enough away distance that she wouldn't notice. He knew it was his job to protect her, even from herself, but he also believed that she should be able to learn from her mistakes. If one of those mistakes was dealing drugs with some low-life, he'd let it play out, then take her score to be disposed of later.

When Snow's bright appearance came back into his line of sight, he dropped in a few inches behind her.

"You should know by now that screaming and taking off only works on the rookies," he said casually merely walking with her down the street and keeping a close eye on every movement she made. He liked the girl, but he wished that she hadn't gone through such the dramatic "bad girl" phase.

She looked over at Lewis and groaned, rolling her eyes. "Well they should learn, shouldn't they? I'm just doing my part in their training. No need to thank me." She said sickly sweet, looking at him. He had been with her for a while. All the others had broken but not him. "How long have you been following me?" She frowned and made sure not to change her grip on her purse. He could read her like an open book and know exactly where she was keeping her stash. Not that she didn't have tricks to keep parts of it... she had in the past. She saw the other Agents around the building and waved, trying not to laugh at the fear-stricken faces. She looked up at Lewis, Agent Lewis to everyone else, and smiled sweetly. Her face did not match her attitude or her actions. It was how she had gotten off easy this long with her Father. "You have to admit my plan was pretty good right? You even put them outside the window and I still got out." Lightly patting his shoulder she grinned, "The learning curve with you is no joke. I'll start to have to get more creative soon."

Downing the last of the cup of coffee, with a sigh he tossed down the paper he was carefully looking at. There was a new mercenary in town, and he knew the gangs would kill for this person. They were probably skilled, and could provide as quite an asset, but he had a better plan. Running a hand through his tossed hair quickly, slightly fixing it, he quickly poured himself a cup to go.

Quickening his pace, he knew he needed to round up the Betas to remind them of their plan. Last night got slightly out of hand, and Jean wasn't quite sure if he even had told them. As he walked by, a few Hunters by the looks had stopped to stare at their leader. The Alpha rarely made appearances through the base, but today was different. Lifting his wrist to his mouth, he spoke into his watch that communicated to the Betas. "I'll be above ground in 5, meet me at Jitters in half an hour." Jitters was a local coffee shop he enjoyed, they had splendid crisontts.

Johnny "Beta" Lockland

Flirting was of no use. He instead walked to the coffee shop. He didn't leave much if a good impression with the lady however it was worth a shot. Many of the onlookers of his attempt looked at him funny though none said a word. It was common for him to flirt with whomever he pleased. He did however get some news from the lady. Something about a freelance mercenary that could kill him if he saw Johnny. The thought was almost amusing.

His watch buzzed. It was the alpha, he answered. Jitters, just the place to get breakfast, he thought. It was true their pastries were delicious though he wasn't fond of ciffee- he thought it was too bitter for his tastes.

Jitters was one of the largest centers of social interactions in Sun City. Many there were friends gathering to see each other, students who have been studying as well as business men making deals. He kept a gun inside his coat for occasions such as this, it was concealed and he would have a chance to defend himself if some lunatic came near him.

He took a seat on one of the couches. It was in a secluded area of the shop however had enough people around to hide voices that escaped the confines. A waitress appeared and he had ordered a scone and a cup of warm coffee with extra cream; he may as well seeing as it was a coffee shop and not a bakery. He had to wait for the alpha then.

Vontell looked at his watch as Alpha's instructions streamed through. Jitters. The psychiatrist shuddered. Being in public always made him a little nervous. He was always hyper aware of the people around him and feared one of his patients or Mrs. Whittington recognizing him. Something he treasured was privacy, something a Beta didn't always have.

Vonty made his way to Jitters as quickly as possible. Pushing the doors of the coffee shop open, warm air rushed over him. The place smelled wonderful. Looking around, he quickly spotted the other Beta and made his way to him.

Quietly, he sat down. "How are you today?" Vontell asked him quietly, not making eye contact.

He wasn't surprised that he was the last one, though he was the oldest gang leader, it didn't mean he was outdated. Ordering his usual, straight black coffee, and a warm kolache he took his seat with the Betas. Jean treated the two of them equally, they were probably his closest friends. Vontell was a quiet one, he enjoyed being behind the scenes more than the role Johnny. What was funny about Johnny was he saw himself in the young man, his role being more so the public face for the gang.

Diving out of thought, his icy eyes sprung back to alertness with the two men. "Well enough, glad to see you crawled out of your hermit hole today Vontell." Jean said with a sly smile, as he graciously took his coffee and sipped it lightly. "How about you Johnny? Your looking a little flushed this morning."

Johnny "Beta" Lockland

He saw as Vontell took his seat in front. Jean followed a few minutes after. By then, he had finished his scone and half of his coffee. Just a treat needed to be washed down. To be fair to the coffee however, the cream had greatly improved the taste. He might have even enjoyed it..Maybe.

"Vontell didn't seem like the Hermit hole type sir, more if a, well, a momma's boy to say the least" he joked, "anyways, I've taken quite a few chances in my life sir, none worse than with a lady"

He took a long sip of his coffee. He had said it sarcastically. Johnny wasn't the type to go around asking for dates though he had a habit to flirt. It  was quite a talent to be fair. He shook his head.

"The last threatened some mercenary's come and kill me, good joke," he said sarcastically again, "So what're we here for sir?"

                                                                                              ---Lola Montez---

She had more time to kill, her cellphone was not exactly blowing up with job leads. The few she had already gotten were well...bland. Missing husbands, loan shark removal, and the odd custody dispute. Pay was meh, and even if she did feel like poking her nose in it, she wanted to make sure that at least her company's name got out there. Small jobs for small time players. No, what she needed was a job, that connected her to as many groups that lived on the cities underbelly like ticks on a sleeping sow. Not that she wanted to skirt the law, too much, but the money she needed to finish her personal projects just would not come from two bit tasks that would not even fill the day out. Flicking the spent cigarette out the window, she cruised the side streets, trying to at least look important.

However her peaceful cruise was interrupted when she smelled something strong in the air. Men in heat. Moreso, Teenaged boys up to no good. And she slowed her car down as she passed a small alley clogged with guys. Normally this is very odd, unless there was as stash of skin mags in there, there was absolutely no reason to crowd in their so tight, or be in there at all. She wanted to just move along, but her dirty sense was tingling and her curiosity got the best of her. Pulling her car forward, and parking, she stepped out and joined the odd group of boys. Of course she now could see what was going on as she approached. It seems these boy wolves have cornered a girl rabbit (metaphorically.) Now this was becoming more interesting, but her womanly sense would not leave the girl to her fate. No, these boys needed a release, and she would give it to them.

Grabbing the closest boy, she put her hand over his mouth and dragged him out of the alley. (I am going to need dice rolls for taking out non lethally a group of boys. 5 to be exact)

Her kick landed and had the effect. Of course she was not out to cave the boys face in, but she did bop his nose good. The boy fell backwards and crawled away leaving a trail of piss with him. Now for the second boy.. (Last roll, for menacing intimidation. 1 not scared of her, 15 absolutely terrified. anything above a 9 he runs away.)

-Lola Montez-

Once the boys have departed, Lola fights her instinct to walk away. She checks on the boys prize, only to find a girl, clothes mostly intact, and her schoolbooks scattered. "You okay to walk?" she said holding out her hand for the girl. This felt like one of those sappy Lifetime movies, where she helps the girl and they both mature and grow up together through an unspoken bond. Yeah right. The timid hand took hold of hers and the girl rose, and adjusted her glasses. Then noticing the situation on the ground, quickly begins to gather her books and other belongings. Once she was sure she had everything, she sniffed and turned to her savior. "Um..Thank you very much." she bowed turned to walk away and walked right into the wall.

"It seems you forget that you are in an alley that is maybe five feet wide at best." Lola said, containing her laughter. "Come with me, we will grab a snack and calm down a bit." she offered the strange girl. "What is your name?" she asked. "My name is Wendy, Wendy Scoli. What is yours?" Wendy replied. "The name is Lola, Lola Montez." she responded as she opened the car door for Wendy. "Ah, like the son---" she was cut off by an angry grunt from Lola. "Yes, like the song, as if I have not heard it over a million times since the song came out. I was named after the woman whom the song was named for, who infact was my great great aunt." she explained. "Now look, why were you back there?" she asked as they pulled onto the main street. "I was just fired from my after school job of helping in the small restaurant. I had to collect my final paycheck, but then those guys showed up and swept me away. And then you found me." she finished.

And so the unusual partnership began. Lola hired the girl who needed work, as she lived alone and was finishing High School, until she went to College. The girl proved to be almost more trouble than it was worth, but Lola could not help but almost sadistically watching Wendy try and fail, Hell, it was better than T.V., unless it costed her money. With Wendy's help Lola managed to barely open a proper place to do business. However, unlike her home, here she had a lackey to clean up and take down messages. And Wendy was grateful to have a friend who could be there for her when she needed help.

Jean smirked as he listened to Johnny speak. Taking a bite of his breakfast, before setting it down nodding. "Actually I wanted to talk about that right there," he said as he took a sip of his coffee before leaning back comftable on the couch. "I can tell that the gangs are going to pounce all over this opportunity, so I say we use this as a distraction?" The Alpha's tone grew slyer with every word, the tone he usually took when talking of tactics. The Betas knew it well, and he enjoyed himself as well. "Damn this joint isn't smoke friendly," he grumbled as he took another sip of caffeine to take away the edge. "All i'll say, since they could easily be watching as we speak is this. Wolves just don't operate in packs, they rely on nature to help. Some parts of nature are deadly, while others could prove reasoruceful. And i've found a part of nature that could provide as a greater asset than the mercenary..."

Vontell tried hard to maintain eye contact, but as soon as Jean's tone changed to more of a sly one, his eyes drifted to the floor. Leaving the mercenary alone, on purpose, as a distraction was a genius idea. Obviously, because the Alpha was a genius. All eyes would be on the merc while the Black Wolves worked in the shadows.

Vontell looked back up at the Alpha. He studied his expression for a moment before looking at the Beta beside him. Talking about plans in public made him nervous. He didn't know all of the members of the other gangs, especially the newer grunts, so Vonty always felt like he was being watched. It never really occured to him that since he was a hermit, as the Alpha so kindly put it, the grunts probably didn't know who he was either.

While Vontell's mind raced with a million thoughts and things to say, he decided to keep quiet and let the other Beta talk.
