Personality: Due to her Italian upbringing, Adelina is not shy about what she thinks. She doesn't yell or talk as much as her mother, but when asked she will give you her honest response. Although she's a woman of little words, her facial expressions make up for it. Her face easily lights up and can just a quickly darken to a terrible storm. The range of emotions she can express in her face is almost incredible, but the people looking at her cannot always know what it means, her face can somehow be a perfect mix of two polar opposite emotions. However, she hates to embarrass herself in front of others and hates being in the spot light. It's not a fear but it makes her incredibly uncomfortable.
Backstory: Adelina was born in Verona, Italy which is in the northern part of the country, she grew up learning several different languages, as was the custom of Italian children. She learned to speak English, German, French, and a little bit of Spanish through helping her parents run their small retail shop downtown. Eventually, as she aged, Adelina yearned for something more in her life besides tourists asking her about Venice and Rome, she wanted to go to America. She was 19 when the immigrated to the United States, she was 22 when she finally managed to scrape together enough money for her own place (up to she was living with roommates found online). Adelina had interned at a record company and had several side jobs at food joints until she ran across a group of boys when she was 26. That's when her life really began.
Relationship to other band members: Sees Yi as a good kid, she likes how relaxed he is. With Austin she wonders why she let him stay in the band, he's certainly not her best friend. But she does enjoy being around Noah, she likes his kind aura and feels at ease to tell him anything.

Personality: Yi Is laid back and relaxed most of the time. He tends to be the mediator of fights and the solver of disagreements. He is very cool headed and rarely does he get angry. When something upsets him, he usually buries it deep inside, and doesn't share his feelings with anyone he is not super close too. He is quite responsible and mature, but he can also be a bit broody, and needs his own space a lot. He isn't the party type, and tends to show up at parties for appearance's sake only. He has a kind personality but has trouble expressing love or affection, and is afraid of romantic relationships.
Backstory: ZhongYi's family was very rich. His father was a Chinese man who was very wealthy. He married the English Translator he hired when he was 27, and his son Bai was born one year and 9 months later. Bai was brought up to be perfect and nothing else. He was always doing extra homework, going to summer school, and working hard. He felt very alone in his house, but had a good relationship with his mother, until she had an affair and his father kicked her out of the house. Bai was not allowed to see her has a child, and by the time he was old enough to do what he wanted, she was back in her country of birth, and he had no way to contact her. As a teen, Bai had many girlfriends, but none of them lasted because they felt alone. Bai was not able to show them proper affection. He bought them whatever they desired, was a perfect gentleman to them, but in the end, all of them said the same thing, that he didn't care and that they barely knew him. Bai's only solace was music. He liked the cello, enjoying the sounds he made with it. Eventually he turned to the bass guitar. His father didn't approve of the sudden drop in his work ethic, and as soon as he turned 18 he found himself travelling. On his travels he met some boys who seemed to like his musical talent. He completely renounced his fathers fortune, choosing instead to devote himself to the band. He supported himself by working at a local karaoke bar as a bartender.

Role: Lead Singer/Pianist
Personality:
Austin has quite the attitude. He swears like a sailor and is quick to anger if when meets him for the first time. His attitude does simmer down if he becomes a friend, and Austin will eventually show his kinder side. Even though his personality is far from perfect, he doesn't let it get in the way of his performances. It's as if the attitude fades as soon as he steps on the stage or is in front of adoring fans.

Positive traits:

1. Diligent. He will always take his work seriously.
2. Can appreciate all kinds of humor.
3. He will stick up for himself and his opinions will be known... And he also stands up for his band when it really boils down to it, too.
4. Will gladly try new things.
5. Pretty straight-forward.

1. He's pretty insecure about himself... Not that he'll tell anyone that.
2. Often times doesn't think about the consequences of his actions.
3. Hardly ever plans for anything.
4. Arrogant at times.

Backstory:
Austin is a singer from humble beginnings. He was raised in a single-parent home by his mother in San Jose, California. His father was never part of his childhood or even where he is today. Despite not ever knowing his father, Austin has built up this deep hatred towards him. He keeps using the 'what if' scenario with himself, believing that he and his mother would have had an easier time if he was present during his childhood.

The two were constantly jumping apartment to apartment in San Jose to wherever they could afford. It was stressful for the both of them with the low income only one person could make, and it was expensive in general just living there. Austin could never keep long term friends in school like this, and he found himself hanging out with the wrong crowds with every move. He was soon pegged the 'bad kid,' and this was perhaps where he got his present attitude from. Despite the way Austin behaved throughout his childhood, he was never rude or disrespectful to his mother. He loves her too deeply for that.

Austin always had a knack for singing that really began to blossom in middle school. He mostly did it around his mom, in the car, in the shower, as he did chores... He just loved it. He even joined the men's choir for his school, that is, until he was booted for his attitude problem. That same thing happened when he got to high school and kept repeating that again and again for every choir he joined. At least he could foster his love for music through the school clubs. Those didn't kick him out, thankfully. Through the clubs, Austin was able to be introduced to playing the piano. He wasn't exactly a natural at it, but he did well.

...Austin never finished high school. He had to drop out in the eleventh grade and work to help pay for rent and other necessities with his mother so they could be stable. He did odd jobs here and there, but once again Austin never stopped singing. He kept at it, even to the point where his salary was well enough that being a singer became his one and only job. The small gigs he did just kept growing and growing until he was recognized by a larger record company, and the rest is history. Austin is now a worldwide famous singer for the band, Inside Dreamland.

Relationship to other band members: Thinks of Adalina as a friend. Finds Yi odd; Austin probably wouldn't actively seek him out for conversation.

Anything extra you'd like to add?:
- More on Austin's sexuality here. Ever since he became part of the band, he's been wondering if he isn't entirely heterosexual. For a guy who flirts as often as he does towards girls and really tries, too, he'd think he'd have a serious relationship with one of them eventually... And he would think he'd have a girlfriend by now. But nope, Austin's still very much single... The idea that he could get with a guy is slowly becoming more believable in his mind, but he keeps rejecting it. He's scared of the thought.

- He typically keeps most of his teen blunders to himself, but Austin as a teenager got into a lot of fights for his mouth. He's much better about it now of course. However, there was one incident in particular that got Austin in a really bad fight. He still remembers it today, and he has the scar from it. It isn't anything too large or noticeable located on his lower right side, but it does serve as a reminder of his reckless behavior as a child.

Personality: Noah has a very bright personality and is known to be the "wild guy" of the band. He often takes risks as well as tries new things and is very eager to meet new people. Towards the other band members, Noah is very optimistic and plays jokes as well as pranks on a regular basis. Noah's sense of humor is greatly appreciated on the band and has been acknowledged on various occasions. Though he's a man of many virtues, Noah can be very clumsy and has erased songs by accident on more than one occasion. Still, his apologetic baby eyes after always gets the best of the others and is often let off the hook. It's very rare that Noah takes insults to heart though when it happens he can become very aggressive and become clouded. When someone he loves or cares about is in trouble, Noah's heart skips a beat. He tends to become very serious as well as introverted and recluses himself from his friends and family until he can do something to fix it.

Backstory: Noah is the youngest son of Lucy and Mack Smalls. He is one of three kids, his oldest brother being thirty years of age and his sister twenty-five. His parents worked in the middle class, his mother an Accountant and his father an instrument shop manager. As a child, Noah visited the hospital on various occasions often because of sores and pains all over his body. The doctors weren't able to diagnose anything and often gave him joke books instead, "laughing is the best medicine." Somehow he always managed to pull through and took interest in drumming while reading the joke books. His skill developed quickly, so did his humor as well. At the age of ten, Noah had fewer hospital lapses but was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. Through all this, Noah continued to drum and even began to write songs.

School was the hard part though, he often missed school and had a hard time making friends, believe him or not, he had no friends at school. A loner was all he was, all he was going to be... before the first joke. May 12, sixth grade, Mrs. Meyer's class, Noah had said a joke aloud. The whole class laughed. They weren't laughing at him but instead with him. He'd continued to tell jokes, to make others laugh, and it worked, they did. By the end of that school year he'd been dubbed "Class Clown" and still retains the name from his former schoolmates.

Don't think he'd forgotten about the drums though. Noah was an excellent drummer in his early teens and continued on to play in the Java Cafe, the local school hangouts. He played Thursdays, his father taking the role of his manager. Everyone was very supportive of the decision, he loved to drum. Eventually Noah began to get paid for his gigs at the Java and even began to share some of his songs and raps that he'd written before being signed by the record label. All aside, Noah Smalls was no longer a household name but instead a worldwide phenomenon.

• Adelina: Adelina's like an older sister to him. The two have known each other since childhood and can tell when the other is hurt, in need or just needs a nuggie. Miss Mack
• Austin: Austin's a total jackass, Noah has admitted to that on various occasions though he still somehow sees him as his best friend. Austin and Noah's constant bickering has become a part of the band as a whole. Raiders
• ZhyongYi: Noah sees "Z.Y." as a close friend and somehow his responsibility. He often tries to force Zhyong into being more social, often resulting in humiliation. Noah often seeks "Z.Y." for advice though, on more than one occasion. Heim
• Joseph: Noah often tries to tick off Joey, trying to bring him out of his comfort zone. Joseph is also another counsellor in his eyes and so he often goes to Joseph to in need of help. Prince of Corruption
