Personality: Ignus loves to find anything he can use to hold over others, anything from his personal power or political power. Though he is very driven and willing to fight just about anyone for any reason, however, Ignus respects strength so much so that he will bend his knee if confronted by someone stronger. Having a deep seeded hatred of any kind shapes the type of person one becomes, and Ignus is not exception hating his father from a young age Ignus grew to know hate and accept it. Deep inside Ignus is as cruel as he is strong loving to hurt others and watch and revile in the pain of others.
Bio: Some would say that being born into royal dragon family was a good thing, some would be jealous of the stature that came with such a birth, others would have pity for the poor soul and hope that the corruption would not make a monster. Well a monster was born but it was not the riches or stature that corrupted it, it was born that way with twisted intent and brutal force this monster entered the world. On the day Ignus Solarus entered the world he was destined to never know his mother. She died shortly after child birth the information given to the public was vague and lacking detail, the truth was that she had been assassinated, the culprits were never known but suspected to be a group of nature dragon assassins thus leaving the new born son alone and with a distant father.
His mothers death changed something in Ignus's father, he grew distant and cold, as cold as a fire dragon can. It soon came to be that the Lord of Dragons had no time for his son, instead opting to leave the child in the capable hands of a nurse. But Ignus was brought into the wold by death and death had left its scar on him, for awhile he was able to hide himself under a young rebel attitude. Before long Ignus became a thorn in his fathers side, so his father decided that a new heir was needed. Soon however Ignus knew that his father would never give him the time of day and even was seeking to replace him. Seething with rage towards his father, Ignus sought to get stronger and gain more power and even raided his fathers secret library for any information he could on strengthening his core, what he found was detailed instructions on how to devour another dragons core. When his father found out what Ignus had done he was furious, and sentenced Ignus to being a general and train the Fire Kingdoms troops. A young Ignus was no match for the deterring stares of the officers and soldiers under his command, and was plagued by insubordination and back talk. It was not until Ignus decided train with his men that they accepted him and grew to see him as a leader, his men saw a lord that had no combat training and no father, and took pity on him. They became his new family and trained him in the way of combat forging him into a skilled fighter, and for a few short years filled the void in his heart.
Thanks to his time as a general, and his position, Ignus took about learning everything he could, and gain as many followers as he could as his hate drove him on. Even going so far as to practice how to devour an other dragons core and doing so on several ocations. Using his position as general, Ignus was able to keep his actions under wraps, and left them that way when his father called him home several years later. It was now that Ignus realized that if his father died he would take his place as Dragon Lord, and thanks to his new friends in the Military Ignus would have no problem turning the Fire Kingdom into a war machine. Setting a plan in motion to have his father removed Ignus prepared to take the throne after quickly dealing with his father fake heir. (that is until Gorgek shows up)
