Role: Survivor, Due to his personal circumstances he can't live around other people.

Appearance:

Pretty much like this. His hair is more black than shown though. His height is 5'9" The pentagon mark of thie night mare is on the left side of his neck. he tries to keep it hidden under his clothes when possible.

Personality: Aiden's method for dealing with the daily life-threatening dangers and demonic madness that fills the world is to remain stubbornly positive. He forces himself to think positively whenever possible. He values his identity as a human very highly, which helps him to keep his head when dealing with demons. (or a certain particular demon) Aiden works to see usefulness in everybody and treats everyone he meets with openness, even if most of the time its a futile endeavor. In many ways this positive outlook is merely a coping mechanism. He does not truly believe life will get better or that he'll be able to escape some horrible, demonic death, but by always pushing himself in an uplifting manor he's able to keep taking things one step at a time. Also, he likes to stay positive because it continues to get under Ayla's skin. He prefers not to take too many risks and puts surviving over obtaining valuable resources and items.

Skills: Aiden is skilled in dual-wielding Long daggers in combat. For the most part he relies only on his quick reflexes and ability to fight, but occasionally he calls on Ayla's abilities in exchange for some concession which gives his blades varying levels of abilities depending on the concession. Normally it simply gives them an acidic, plague like effect that burns away the flesh around slashes and stabs. If he provides enough of a concession to her, they will damage from the plague-daggers will transfer to his own body in the form of increased vitality and healing.

Outside of combat, Aiden is a very handy guy. because he's spent so much time on his own he's become accustomed to magyvering his way out of situations where combat is too risky.

Gear: Thick leathery clothes, layered in several places to provide slight armor-like protection. Two long daggers he keeps strapped to his legs. A travelling sack filled with the following equipment: 1 coil of rope (20 meters), 5 vials of blood (3 human, 2 demon. 1 of the human vials is his own blood) Various food items, usually stuff raided from old stores. 1 canteen of water. Crowbar (somewhat old and beaten up, he only really uses it to bash through things he can't break with his hands) and a Swath of paper notes of his experiments on mixing demon summoning and Blood Magic.

Bio: The early years of the end of the world were, subjectively, uninteresting. He joined the first group of survivors he could find and traveled with them during their searches for food water and shelter. This original group soon fell apart due to in fighting over resources and they all only managed to avoid attacking each other outright by a last minute agreement to just take whatever and leave. Aiden traveled on his own for a bit, learning bits and pieces of demonic magic along the way. As one who prefers not to take too many risks, he didn't rely on it in his efforts to survive, going off his own wit and skills instead. Still, the power of demonic magic drew him in and he found himself learning whatever he could about blood magic and demon summoning. In an effort to minimize dangers, he spent a fair amount of time studying the ways the workings of blood magic and demon summoning could be combined, preferably resulting in the more specific results and control of blood magic combined with the greater power attributed to summoned demon abilities.

During his studies he met up with another group of survivors. To his surprise one of the survivors turned out to be his younger sister Gea, whom he hadn't seen since the great catastrophe. For some time he enjoyed living with this new group and being with his sister again. But as his studies continued, he inevitably arrived at a point where he had to properly test what he'd deciphered from what he'd learned and inferred. he attempted a self-created ritual that combined both blood magic and sacrificial wounds to see if he could summon a specific type of demon. His spell did, technically, work in that he got the type of demon he'd been hoping for. But there was a lot added on that he had not been expecting and ultimately he lost the control over the demon his spell should have given him.

And so he met Ayla. A corrupting demon that specialized in draining the vitality of living things. The test resulted in partial possession, Ayla's demonic spirit attaching itself to his own. Things went downhill very quickly. Ayla kept her direct presence concealed to the rest of the survivors, but would appear invariably in Aiden's dream, whisper words in his mind while he was awake. Food and supplies would randomly rotten without apparent cause and things seemed more susceptible to accidental breakage, fires, or decay. Ayla's presence gnawed on aiden's mind. He knew it was her who brought the misfortune and curses, and she would constantly whisper words in his mind and in his dreams, promising a fate much worse if he did not submit his life to her. She would drive him away, forced to live in eternal solitude and starvation, with nothing and as nothing.

If it were not for his sister, Aiden would have given into the despair and surrendered to Ayla. As it were, just as he was about to flee into solitude he was found by Gea. The words she gave him could not make Ayla go away, or stop him from leaving, but it gave him the strength to resist Ayla's whisperings of despair and decay. The exact things that went down in that final confrontation is a secret he keeps close to his chest.

Aiden left the group and traveled alone with only Ayla as company. He spent the next two years learning all he could about the demon he'd summoned. It wasn't much, Ayla didn't let much slip, but he eventually learned his self-made summoning spell had resulted in her being bound to him, and that she could only free herself under very certain conditions. One of which being Aiden willingly giving up his life and identity to ayla's full possession. The other conditions Ayla would only hint at. As they were stuck together, they eventually formed a sort of contractual partnership. Aiden's Life adapted and moved forward day by day.

Then the pentagon mark of the nightmare appeared on his body.

  Personality: Kemeno is a survivor through and though, above all else Kemeno puts her own life above everything. She'll do whatever it takes to live no matter what kinda horrible thing she has to do in order to do so. The type of person who is very cautious when meeting others Kemeno won't let her guard down around new people for anything. Even if she has to sleep she'll take extra precautions in order to ensure she's safe for the night. While not trusting of others she believes it to be the law of the world to never be in someone else's debt, as such if someone does something nice for her or helps her she is sure to pay them back. As she believes the world is a dangerous enough place without having to repay old favors for others. Despite her lack of trust in others Kemeno is a lonely soul who does secretly hope she can one day finds others she can actually put her faith in.
  
  Bio: Kemeno was only ten when the world ended, at the time she was with her mother who watched after the two of them. Her father long dead from heart failure, in the ruins of the city they once called home Kemeno's mother fended off bandits and kept the two fed. One day Kemeno woke up to find her mother missing with a portion of their food left behind and a knife. Kemeno figured her mother just had to go gather more supplies and would be coming back so she waited, and waited soon minutes turned hours, then days. Finally Kemeno was forced to start moving in order to find food and supplies to keep living, she did her best to avoid others sure if she ran into demons or bandits she'd die or worse. One day while scavenging for food Kemeno was found by a man who demanded all her supplies and food, of course she said no. That's when the man attacked her he easily beat the small child and took her backpack, Kemeno watched the man go through her bag a deep rage boiled up inside of Kemeno. Yet it was drowned out by her fear and sadness she simply wanted her mother to come save her. It wasn't until she saw a small stray cat so weak it could barely meow beg the man for food. The man then kicked the cat away the poor creature so weak the act was enough to kill it. Kemeno stared at the dead cat seeing herself in the creature a being too weak to even cry out for help as it died. At that moment a feeling overshadowed her fear, her rage, her sadness. The desire to live she drew her knife and leaped at the man after a struggle Kemeno managed to kill the man taking back her supplies and now having his. With his supplies she gained a black book that gave detailed instructions on how to summon a demon who could grant the summoner power with it Kemeno followed the instructions and summoned the demon. With the power from the demon Kemeno swore to live no matter the cost.

  Bald headed, blonde-haired (for hairs other than and limped blue eyes, tall, fat, and what seems to be milky-white baby skin.
  
  Clothed in a tattered robe and formerly white now murky brown robe covered with mystical symbols of different shapes, sizes, and washed-out colors all over. In addition, tied to his forehead to the lower part of his head and to the back of his head is a bulky-looking cloth, covering his forehead and most of the front part of his bald head.
  
  Adorned with a necklace; a big cross hanging from it, a long thread of prayer beads on his upper body from the left shoulder going down slantedly to his right-side waist, hanging all around his belt are a huge bunch of papers charms, with his front and back pockets also seem to be filled to the brim with charms inferred from the small stack spilling out of them.
  
  Heaved on his back is a large coffin with a cross that has a longer horizontal line than the vertical one on its front cover, crisscrossed with charms all over and fastened with a rope of prayer beads, and curiously on the back of the coffin are shoulder straps akin to a bag’s, allowing for ease of carriage.

  Ram learned to be benevolent to all living beings but can be pretty violent to those with enmity. He categorizes everything to family, friend and foe - anybody who’s not a foe is either a friend or a family, neutrality does not exist within his dictionary. However, although he’s friendly to most anything he meets upon first contact he doesn’t really have much of a social network as he usually prefers to be by himself lying down on a dark corner somewhere unaffected by all others.
  
  Ram is innately lazy and dislikes anything that has to do with any form of activity that exerts more than 1000grams worth of energy based on fat burned, be it training, work, and even speaking - he usually communicates through grunts, gestures, symbols, syllables and Haiku for complex things; leaving it up to the other if they interpreted his intentions correctly, and if not he could barely be bothered to explain further. In addition, he can be contradictory to this that he wishes to further indulge in indolence that he can accomplish a task pretty quickly just to return to rest - like bashing a creature with sheer power and number of spells without consideration to cost, rapping his fellow sibling’s ears to near-death, and even working hard to make charms, write inscriptions and acquire his other tools of trade.
  
  Ram has grown to be protective of those he considers family, that he wouldn’t even mind thinning to a skeletal level if they need him; if they do not, however, need him then he also wouldn’t mind not losing a single gram of energy for them - or if they do need him, but he can’t do much for them even if he’s all skins and bones, he wouldn’t bother acting as the point seems moot.

  In contrast to his lazy nature, Ram’s time reading various inheritance of powers to act like he was doing something worthwhile and escape the foolhardy practice of sparring, and other self-abusing stuff - though he did have to occasionally report, spar and fight monsters to showcase what he learned with all that reading he was more than glad to do so rather than doing them and more on a daily basis, those idiots of fellow siblings - led him to a mish-mash of so many things that its a mystery of how he learned all those things or if he even learned them properly seeing that he barely uses them.
  
  On a side note, Ram's cursed blood has allowed his body to gain immense strength and resilience, while the genetic evolution of the group allowed him to be free of demerits against powers of holy and evil banishing nature. Although it is quite unfortunate that his blood can't be used for demonic summoning seeing as the origin of it is an Indolent Demon with narry a creature under its command, it still allows him to blend his aura to a darker shade like his peers, useful for trickery and sleeping in the midst of demonic small-fries.
  
  What is known of him though is that his skills mainly focus on a banishing nature as the family mainly fights against demonic creatures. Charms used to protect against and remove baleful aura, prayers beads to constrict evil, and the holy scriptures of various religious groups to exorcise malignant spirits and creatures. Although there were also some other obscure stuff such as seemingly random body movements and hand gestures, runic engravings on his equipment to increase his overall efficiency and finish his battles faster or even move about unnoticed so he can head somewhere quiet and sleep.
  
  He also had some knack for Divination as it seems like he always knew whet troublesome things would hit him, escaping faster than the speed of an Seraph’s light, hardly being captured by his mentors and siblings with tasks and things to bother him with.
  
  What was most unbelievable about him though is his… er, magic one would guess. Using small cool winds to fan him on the hellish nights and warm tiny blobs of fire to heat his already warm body up, conjuring water with some frozen ice to drink, covering his snores with a sound barrier and camouflaging his nesting place with a mound of earth and some bushes whilst making it more comfortable with leaves, telekinesis to move things around for him - quite an achievement really as he calculated that casting them would cost less energy than enduring the blistering cold winds, the burning sound, and the cacophonous annoyance of other living beings.
  
  Really if teleportation isn’t efficient for short distances energy-wise or if he wasn’t so heavy to carry himself to the air then he might even refuse to take a single step! --- Rantings of a certain fat sibling’s Mentor as he mumbled about how good his physical body is and how he should be fashioned as a powerful fighter all the while being smiled at by the elder.

  Ram wears a synthesized robe for exorcists, boosting their holy power by a notch or two and protecting them against dark powers and providing some means of physical defense. Inscribed on the cloak are some runes and symbols that provide ease of comfort, a self-repairing ability, fabric lightening, some protection against various type of damage and means to blend in together for the robe to be used as a catalyst to cast - mostly for creating illusions to conceal himself, to fan or heat his body.
  
  He wears a belt-bag containing various bottles and vials filled with different concentrations of holy water, some with blood, and others with liquid reagents for casting. Tied to the strings of the belt-bag are charms, some of them stuck in his pockets.
  
  He also has a Prayer Beads of various sizes and length, probably for constricting different sizes of creatures.
  
  Last would be his Coffin-bag filled with stacks of paper, brushes and special inks for charm making, and a random assortment of things like a silver sharp pointed pen, bags of different kinds of powder, needles of varying sizes and length, toys like a doll, a wooden hammer, a paper crane, a tribal mask, and some other covered stuff.

  The Sin’s Downfall
  Times has changed as order was thrown to chaos and strength became to be of more importance. As one of the Seven Sins, Sloth used to enjoy a life of never ending tranquility even while surrounded by angry jerks, jealous bitches, money-grubbers, lower-body organs, and somehow fatter-than-it fatasses. Yet as Earth was tossed into a battleground his importance grew lesser by the day as no Devil would want indolent followers as part of his army, and sadly trying to weaken the followers of other Devils didn’t work as if the influence of another outgrew the influence of the other then the leader of a follower would change. And the brightly lit pigeons indulge in order and peace so talking stagnancy with them was a hollow topic.
  
  Thus Sloth was cast out from the list of Deadly Sins and into the boiling pot called Earth. Knowing that its existence was at stake amongst the many creatures traversing the world, Sloth thought the most probable salvation he could have, following another Devil - which with its nature was an insurmountable task. Fortunately, before its banishment it heard of the birth of a new Devil in the coming years. Eyes filled with hope, it pledged allegiance to the rising nightmare of all things living, it lazily threw all its problems aside (with all the benefits it can muster, with an exhausting lift of its eyebrows, as a gift) to a random newborn soul with an intrinsic nature similar to itself, sloth.
  
  The Sin of Ram
  Born into a small group of wandering exorcists, named as ‘Ram’ in reference to the lambs who are the people of the Lord with his parents hoping him to be as faithful to God and be akin to a Ram with the power to bash through his enemies.
  
  The group was a gathering of various small wandering powers tired of solitary life who eventually became one big-small family of an exotic and varying line-up with a philosophy of acceptance to door-knockers and violent rejection to door-kickers. Within, Ram grew up to be an increasingly hopeful yet disappointing child.
  
  Disappointing as he was innately lazy by nature, always wishing to escape the daily tasks and quota, hopeful as his body grew increasingly stronger (though fatter), he learned fast and accomplished tasks he couldn’t escape with almost record speed.
  
  Conflicted, as the boys nature would bring him harm in this chaotic world while his talent would protect him, the elders convened and a few of the demonic path’s practitioners’ studies on the boy led them to recall the tale of an old, weak, and obscure demon who wanted to live life everyday in peace - they conjectured that the poor child must have been afflicted with the nature of the demon, as most people in the group have some demonic blood flowing within them with being taken over as the worst and personality disorders were the norm. Accepting the fact laid out in front of them, they just let things go its course as the child will be sure to grow safely until he can grow strong enough to protect himself with their protection while teaching him ways to survive out in the world be it as an exorcist, as a demonic follower, or as the lazy bum he is - for they know that fate has much in store for him, receiving the blessings of a deviant peace-loving demon.
  
  The Lost Ram
  Among the wandering big-small family-like group, people with higher purity of demonic blood, if they do not go mad or get taken over by demons, would showcase a mark of a demon in their bodies. Being highly educated of various matters and thought of a philosophical outlook suited to survival in the dangers brought upon by the shattered Earth, these people would forsake their surname and leave with their own initiative, as they wish not to be liabilities to the group while also starting a new convergence in life under the lead of a Devil - of course, shall they meet in harmony, they would still be a family, yet if they were to meet with enmity, they will instead be enemies. Such is the fickleness of fate.
  
  On a particular morning, one such person left behind a note explaining his circumstance and leaving behind words for his whole family. A daunting feat for our fatty Ram as he was burning more than thousands of grams of fat with his right hand the whole night with the amount of white papers scribbled in writings.

Personality: Miku is a very odd individual. She gives off a creepy psychotic vibe at times but she's surprisingly elegant and mature. A level headed person so to speak. She doesn't hate the demons or humans, though when there's a fight she won't hesitate to kill anyone who's not on her side. At times Miku can be very motherly and takes pride in caring for others, despite most people she knows dies pretty soon after they meet for one reason or another, this fact doesn't phase Miku in the slightest. Those who warrant her protection usually last quite a bit.

  [Technique] Perfect Shot: When taking a calculated shot of a gun or throwing an object, Miku never misses unless the target moves. No reticle sway either. She doesn't breath.
  [Technology] Compatibility: Miku can interface her mind with most electronics, although it's hard to control without her laptop
  [Technology] Artifical Body: Most of Miku's body is synthetic except for most of her brain, skin, heart, blood vessels and arteries. She is more durable but not invincible.
  [Skill] Mechanic Expert: Knowing how to fix yourself and other things is important. There aren't many cybernetic replacements just lying around.
  [Skill] Mimicry: With little effort, Miku can hide the fact she's not 100% flesh and blood, which can work in her favor.
  
• Miku used to be a normal girl, living underground with the researchers her parents worked with when they were alive. When she left for the usual supply run one day, she was attacked and nearly killed. Having being brought back to the bunker, the researchers and scientists used her parent's technology to put her back together. Not long after the bunker was infiltrated and everyone killed. Waking up after her batteries charged only to find everyone dead and herself in a strange body. Eventually after learning what she could about herself, she ventured out for good and became a lost wonderer. Surviving and taking out anything that got in her way.

Name: Ayla Semang

Age: 150 years

Species: Walker(ish) Demon

Role: She prefers to claim she haunts Aiden, but her portion of her spirit is contractually linked to Aiden's spirit and is unable to leave his side.

Appearance: For the most part, Ayla lives in a spiritual form in the back of Aiden's consciousness. During these times she has no body and exists only as a presence and a voice. However, because only a portion of her spirit is forcibly linked to Aiden, she has the ability to take on her usual demonic form, though somewhat weakened with only part of her presence inhabiting the body. During these times she appears similar to a plague doctor;

Personality: Ayla has often felt out of place in the demon apocalypse. Not that she feels unwelcome or outcast, but rather she perceives herself as merely going through the motions in her life of torturing human survivors. Ayla searches for entertainment and fulfillment, sometimes finding it in hurting others, sometimes helping, sometimes learning, sometimes destroying. She moves from one thing to another, never satisfied to be doing the same thing for long periods of time. She feels she's looking for something in particular, but she can't figure out exactly what it is. When dealing with others, something she's had to do a lot more after she was linked to Aiden, she is closed, defensive, and prefers not to open up on her own motives or feelings. She tries to appear to be in power, to keep some degree of control over every situation. It frustrates her deeply when she's unable to exert her will over someone she's set her eyes on.

Skills: Spiritually she can appear in people's dreams, and speak in their minds. She has the ability to drain vitality and life out of her surroundings at will. In her walker form her cane doubles as a stabbing weapon, which will drain life when doing damage. The life she drains she an stockpile and use to up her own strength and vitality.

Gear:
Plague Doctor's mask. (this mask has been part of her identity for as long as she can remember and while it isn't directly attached to her body, - it can be removed - it materializes whenever she takes her walker form)
Cane of withering. (like the mask this will always materializes with her walker form, but can be taken from her. It is one of her preferred ways to apply her life-draining capabilities.

Bio: Ayla has always been a wandering demon. For the majority of her life she merely went through the same routine, moving in secret across the world, occasionally causing plague or illness when she needed to consume more vitality to sustain her. It wasn't until the demon apocalypse occurred and demons began to move openly across the world that she felt a sudden distaste to the prospect of simply continuing to wander and drain life. She wanted something more, and began experimenting with ways to find whatever it was she felt was missing. She took to haunting specific people, purposefully allowing herself to be summoned, and experimenting in how she can use her demonic powers.

Unfortunately, she allowed herself to be summoned by Aiden. Unaware that his summoning spell was new and experimental, she discovered too late that she'd by allowing herself to be summoned she'd essentially signed a linking contract over part of her spiritual essence. Thankfully the summoning ordeal had informed her -in general- of how she could break free. The easiest being of course Aiden surrendering and allowing her spirit to take full control. her initial attacks failed however, due to the interference of Aiden's sister. Ayla still forced Aiden to abandon his friends, but she knew that it wouldn't be enough anymore to overwhelm his psyche. And so she resigned herself to being stuck with Aiden. In truth he wasn't bad company, and travelling with him wasn't too different from the wandering she'd done before the summoning anyway. Things would get interesting however, when the pentagon mark appeared on the back of her left hand...
