Idea; Exploring the dark side of japanese/korean host clubs.
A host club- A place that sells dreams. Dreams of being loved and treated like a princess. While the men sell lies in order to give that very illusion.
-Inspired by the documentary The Great Happiness Space.
I'd like to explore the dark reality of these young men's superficial, seemingly perfect lives. I was thinking that the pairing could be an experienced host x newly hired member. Focusing more on the hosts and their bonds rather than the women/ customers. Can be bromantic or romantic.
