Keagan's departure at first left Cielo's mouth agape. After admitting that his bugs couldn't find Leon, he just turned and ran. After the trouble of running into Solomon, going home and changing into neutral colors, and then getting her hopes up, just like that the whole mission was squashed. "MotherFUCKER!" Cielo crescendoed into her rage as Keagan disappeared down the street. "KEAGAN! GET BACK HERE YOU LOSER!" Cielo shrieked. She ran after him for a couple steps but he was so far now.

Cielo groaned loudly and sat down on the sidewalk. She scrunched her fists together until her knuckles turned white and pursed her lips. "Stupid Keagan. Stupid motherfucker...and his...st-stupid bugs..." she spoke through grit teeth and looked like she was trying very hard not to cry. "I'm gonna fucking kill him..." she whimpered as a single tear escaped from her eye and rolled down her cheek. She turned away from Solomon and tried to blink them away.

You know what was weird? Keagan running off. Even though Solomon didn't know the male well, he knew that a mission from their leaders was not something you'd give up on, even if Plan Z had failed. There was always another way. How were they supposed to report back to Tsu now?

"OI!" Solomon boomed at his disappearing figure, his version of 'get the hell back here!'. It was futile however; either Keagan was too far away or he just was flat out ignoring him, and he continued on running. "MotherFUCKER!" Cielo chimed afterwards, attempting to chase after him, but giving up after a short dash. She slowed to a stop, and Solomon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. The fuck were they to do now? His eyes squeezed shut, his mind racing, trying to find a fitting solution, but nothing came. Even if they managed to pass the border, they would have to separate at some point or another, and he did not want the small girl to be left somewhere unfamiliar and in harms way. If something happened to her or she was kidnapped as well, he couldn't forgive himself... God fucking dammit... Shaking his head, he declared the mission a complete and utter fail. 'Best to go home then.'

Dropping his arm to his side, Solomon sighed once more before turning on his heel and preparing to leave. Before he did, he reopened his eyes and glanced over at Cielo, about to suggest for her to head home as well, but he froze. The girl was sitting on the sidewalk, nails digging into her palms, trying to keep her emotions together. Her aura however was brimming with anger, but not her usual rage: it was a more... Irritable depression kinda rage. It definitely took him aback, and he couldn't help but stare for a minute or two in a stunned silence. That was when a tear rolled down her cheek, and his heart immediately shattered. He had to do something, anything to help her... And that was when an idea popped into his head. A stupid, ridiculous idea that probably wouldn't work out, but he had to at least try.

Walking over to her, he rolled his eyes, "Killing him isn't going to help, Cielo." He stated bluntly as he stood in front of the girl. "No point in pondering over it, so c'mon," extending his hand to help her up, Solomon then continued, "We're going." He left the sentence up for her to interpret, but one thing was for sure; she rejected the idea? She'd be dragged along.

Cielo tried to find numerous ways to hide her crying face from Solomon when he stood in front of her. She looked to the side, tried to bury her head in her knees, tried to nonchalantly wipe the tears away but nothing could hide the fact that she was crying. When she looked up at him and his giant hand, her face was reddened and scrunched up. But she was a god damn gangster so she wasn't gonna just sit there and not get up. Not when she had so much to prove around this guy who was 259 times her size.

Cielo smacked his hand away, or at least that's what she meant to do. It kind of just turned into a low five. She stood up on her own, commenting through her sniffles, "I don't need your help..." She brushed herself off, pouting as the tears naturally stopped flowing, but her face still held the tell tale signs that she'd been crying. "Where are we going?" She asked in a huffy voice before flinching. Remembering that she and Keagan had lied about this being an official mission, she stammered, "W-W-We can't go to Tsu and Isaac!"

Poor girl... Solomon frowned a little at her reddened face and eyes, but he didn't want to make it entirely obvious he knew. It would probably set her into a bigger tizzy, and that was definitely something he didn't need. Instead, he placed his high fived hand in his trouser pocket and sighed. "Do you think I'm an idiot?" He asked as a reply to her stutters, shaking his head. "We're going to..." Solomon faded off for a second, closing his eyes. The poor guy was starting to get just a little bit embarrassed; admitting he was taking her ice cream was... Oh my god, it was just super unmanly and just blush worth, but there was no way to dance around it, was there? Solomon cleared his throat and placed a hand on the back of his neck, staring off to the right in what was could be called a sheepish manner, but with him, it just kinda looked like he was a little grumpy. "Mimi's... I'll, uh, buy..." He grumbled. "Okay?"

Cielo wanted to answer his rhetorical question with a confident "yes" but she was real busy trying not to cry. Her face scrunched up as she waited for him to reveal where they were going. "Where?! Spit it out!" She egged him on. Cielo tilted her head when she noticed the pink tint rising in Solomon's cheeks. She folded her arms impatiently until he revealed where they were going. "Wh-What...?" she asked softly through her sniffling. Cielo rubbed at her face with her forearm and pouted. It would be childish to accept this offer and would do nothing for her image but...Mimi's green tea ice cream was her kryptonite. Wiping at her own face again, she asked weakly, "Why?"

Cielo, it was hard enough for him to admit that he was gonna take you for ice cream, you think he could answer why? Solomon rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, his frown deepening. "Why not?" Was the only answer he could come up with on the spot. Saying he wanted to cheer her up would probably earn him a slap, and even if it didn't, he'd probably just straight up try and leave out of embarrassment from saying the fact. "I've got money and there's no point in standing around..." Solomon shoved his free hand into his pocket as he continued, "Right? I'm going either way."

Cielo was pretty much broke as a joke and now that he'd gotten her thinking about it, the craving for that green tea ice cream was real. She didn't likw accepting handouts and help because she liked to do things herself but... if the offer was on the table then... "Okay." She murmured quietly. "I'll come with you," she agreed and started toward the parlor.

... Huh... That went better than expected. Solomon felt a massive weight fall off his shoulders as she agreed, and his heart definitely lightened as well. He was still the tiniest bit flustered, but that didn't matter much now; his mission was successful, and they both walked with a nice little silence between them.

Upon arrival he opened the door for the two of them. "Get anything you want." Solomon said. Then he felt a little silly; what else was she supposed to do? Watch him eat ice cream? He internally face palmed himself.

Solomon was largely overthinking his little offer, because to Cielo it was a warm breath of nostalgia and a very welcome phrase. Would she admit that? No. But it sounded like something her dad would say. A cute little gesture that let her know that even though they both knew that she couldn't possibly finish the largest size of ice cream they had, he'd be willing to pay for it if it made her happy. Maybe Godzilla wasn't so bad after all. "I... I just want a small matcha ice cream..." Cielo told him with a pout and promptly looked away from him and folded her arms before mumbling a barely audible "Thank you..."
