Personality: Al is a very energetic and hyperactive yet, strangely elegant boy. He is always speaking his mind and isn't afraid to tell the truth no matter how it affects other's. Unlike most of his house he is very open minded and caring though still cunning and observant.

History: Al grew up in a small family in the country side of Japan. There he was always exploring and getting into trouble yet because of the location he had very few friends. When he was six they moved to England and though he was displeased to find he didn't have as much space to run around in the amount of children around made up for it. Around this time he also began to get tutored. Over the years he was taught potions, politics, how to dance, and history. Be proved to be talented in each one and when he entered Hogwarts this didn't change. Though, he found It's harder to make friends in a school of rivals.

Personality: Yvaine is a welcoming, but quiet soul, and has a very encouraging nature about him. He's always open to anyone needing an ear to listen. When it comes to talking about himself, however, he isn't as open. He knows how to turn a subject onto something else smoothly, and prefers not to be the center of attention. There's a lot of care and consideration in his heart for his friends. Having fun above all things is important to him, though he will take his studies seriously when the need is there.

Yvaine has a creative mind. He'll find multiple ways of going about a situation, problem, or task, often finding loop holes or ways to bend the rules. His policy is that you can't get in trouble for it if you don't get caught. Half the fun of challenging loop holes is to see whether or not anyone notices. He understands there's repercussions for his actions, though, and takes any punishments he is given without complaint. If it comes to it, he'll take the blame for his friends.

History:

Yvaine was born November 1, 1998. He spent the first couple of years living in Gordes, France, with his father's side of the family being prominent figures. Two years later his sister, Alexandrie, was born, who unfortunately turned out to be a squib. This enraged the de Sauveterre family, to which they blamed the mother, Madeline. His parents decided to move to London soon after to give their children a better life and to gain a better perspective on the muggle world in which their daughter would live. Yvaine and Alexandrie were put into public schools until his inevitable acceptance into Hogwarts.

Upon his 11th Birthday, Yvaine received his letter with a following small celebration. A few of his extended family came to visit in lieu of the momentous occasion, but the air was tense. Yvaine was both excited and sad, for he had made muggle friends in his time at public school. Alexandrie meant a lot to him as well, and it was difficult for the family to break it to her that she would not be able to go to Hogwarts like her big brother.

Keeping Hogwarts a secret from his friends was tough. Every summer he would come home to his muggle friends and pretend as though he were sent away to a boarding school in France. His friends would write him letters and give them to his parents to send out, and they never questioned why. Yvaine would write back to his parents' address to insure no owl was spotted.

His love for Quidditch came in his second year when he gained the role of Ravenclaw House Seeker. When he wasn't studying or practicing his homework or testing the system placed by Hogwarts, he was out on the Quidditch pitch training.

He has no future goals in mind. Sometimes he dreams about making it big as a professional Quidditch player, but other than that he isn't quite sure what he wants to do with his life.

Imogen's wand is made of yew with a Hungarian Horntail Heartstring core. Imogen's wand is 12 inches long and slightly flexible. Imogen's wand is powerful and capable of very flamboyant spells although it is not very loyal. It can change alliance if the wand is taken from her, but the bond with the other owners will not be the same as the bond she has with it. Her wand is also has a fearsome reputation for dueling and curses and will protect it's owner til the grave.

Pet:

Imogen's grandfather gave her a baby Tawny Owl for her first year at Hogwarts. Imogen named the owl Dakota. Dakota has been with Imogen all threw her stay at Hogwarts. Dakota has orange colored feathers with a bit of white and dark brown, and she has big black eyes. Dakota is about 14.5 in (37 cm) which is common for a Tawny Owl.

Dakota is a very curious owl and, just like Imogen, lives for adventure. Dakota hates being locked up and will act up if she is inside a cage for too long. This often leads to Imogen leaving her out and Dakota getting lost. Dakota will often get caught in the moment and venture out into the wild. She is very loyal though and has a good memory so she'll return after a couple of day. The longest time she's been lost has been a week. Dakota's favorite snack is field mice, but she'll occasionally hunt a bunny or two.
Personality:

She is an odd girl... Imogen isn't really into things that normal girls are such as boys and makeup. She isn't in love with the idea of dresses and frilly nonsense either. Imogen is an imaginative adventurer who loves sword fights and spending her free time running around outdoors collecting rocks or other items for her collections. Imogen is independent and hates being told she can't do things because she is a girl. She will not play the role of damsel in distress just because that's what girls do.

Imogen is a naïve girl and will believe most of what she is told. Her immense love for adventure and discovering new things is what often gets Imogen into trouble. But with a little dusting off, Imogen is up and ready to go explore some more. She doesn't mind not being like the other girls because like her Grandpapa Oswald once told her with a raspy old voice and a mustache filled with cookie crumbs, "An original is worth more than a copy."

History:

Imogen was the second child born in the Gladwyn household. Her older brother Layton was only 3 years older and her younger sister Arabella was two years younger. She was brought up mostly by nannies since both her parents were workaholics that would rather hire maids than ending a shift early. However, Adeline and Gulliver Gladwyn still loved their children very much.

Once Arabella was born, Imogen's mother took time to be able to raise Arabella into the little princess she had failed to raise with Imogen. Imogen took this very harshly, feeling that her mother didn't love her because she wasn't like her younger sister. When Imogen was five years old, she began taking trips to her grandfather's house while the three year old, Arabella, and her mom went shopping. Noticing Imogen's sadness, Grandpapa Oswald would fill Imogen's head with stories about witches, wizards, and a magical place called Hogwarts.

Imogen grew fascinated with the idea of magical places and far away lands, that all of her playtime stories with her brother would revolve around Grandpapa Oswald's stories. However, Grandpapa Oswald had made Imogen promise him that she wouldn't tell her mother about the stories since he knew Adeline wanted to keep her children away from magic. Little did Imogen know that the stories of magic were true and Grandpapa Oswald had lived them himself.

When Layton turned 11 he was taken away to their aunts house across sea. Imogen thought it was their mother's way of punishing her for not being as girly as her sister, but the real reason was that Adeline was hiding Layton from Hogwarts. Adeline had had a bad experience while she was there and the recent events that went on in that school made Adeline question the school's safety. Gulliver, coming from a pureblood family, had different thoughts about Hogwarts. He believed that it was a strong school that had been through many battles and still stayed afloat. He thought it should be up the the kids to decide if they want to go to the school or not, but Adeline wouldn't here of it.

Ever since her brother left. Imogen had resorted to playing by herself since Arabella was always too busy with dolls and playing mommy. That's when the weird stuff started happening. With her brother gone, Imogen started going out to the backyard to play. Great adventures would happen between those fences, adventures that Imogen only thought of as her imagination, but they weren't. Imogen was making stuff happen.

When her adventure took place in tall grasslands, the grass in the backyard would grow up to her knees, or when she was running through a bridge above a large pit of lava, Imogen could feel the ground burning at her feet. She always thought it was just her imagination and that none of the stuff actually happened, but when her mother found Imogen completely dry while she was playing outside in the pouring rain, she knew exactly what was happening. Even though the changes were minor Adeline knew it was the Magic running through Imogen's veins that made her husband have to cut the grass every day.

When Imogen was close to turning 11, her mother already packed her bags so that she could go with her aunt and brother. Imogen had been excited about finally joining her brother again, but her excitement vanished when Imogen found a letter from Hogwarts addressed to her. Imogen was astonished by the fact that all her grandfather had told her was real. Imogen hid the note from her mother and on the next trip to her grandfather's house she showed him the letter. Grandpapa Oswald was thrilled that his granddaughter had been accepted to Hogwarts. "This calls for a celebration!" He yelled grabbing her hand and running up towards the attic.

Imogen was very surprised of being taken to the attic. Her grandfather had always told her it was off limits, but now he seemed delighted to sharing his special place with her. Grandpapa Oswald's attic was just like any other attic, filled with old furniture and dust. Grandpapa Oswald made his way to a rustic old trunk and began rummaging through it until he found what he was looking for. He took out two robes, a small one for Imogen and a large one for him, two hats, and two wooden sticks.

Grandpapa Oswald put on a robe and hat and started swaying his wooden stick around. "Hocus pocus rat's tail and lotus."Imogen immediately jumped on board with a smile on her face, putting on the robe and hat and also waving her stick around. Grandapapa Oswald and Imogen laughed and played pretend wizards until Adeline appeared at the door of the attic. She was outraged at the scene she was seeing. Grandpapa Oswald and Imogen where in the middle of a magical duel each standing at either side of the attic pointing at each other with the wooden sticks. Imogen's mother ripped the robes off of her daughter and left with her furiously muttering about sending her off to her sister's house later that night.

Imogen protested that she wanted to go to Hogwarts and learn to be a wizard like her grandfather, but her mother kept denying the existence of Magic and Hogwarts. Once they were home Imogen was sent to her room while her mother arranged for her to be taken away. Imogen had a different plan though. She would run away, just like Grandpapa Oswald had when his parents didn't like the idea of him being with Grandma Clarice. Imogen grabbed her DC Universe backpack and began stuffing her action figures and cars in it, thinking those would be the only things she would need. Once her bag was full, Imogen opened the door of her room to find her father standing on the other side.

Gulliver and Imogen talked for hours about Hogwarts and Magic hoping that Imogen understood why her mother had hidden the truth from her and the reason why she didn't want Imogen to go. Imogen understood that there had been a really bad guy, and that a really big fight had happened, and that it had been really dangerous, but she didn't understand why her mother was still scared if the bad guy had already been defeated. Gulliver tried to explain that there was still fear of him returning or there still being other bad guys, but Imogen had her heart set on going and didn't care if the bad guy returned.

That night Imogen's parents had a strong discussion about Imogen's future and it was decided that she would go to Hogwarts for a year until they found another school for her to attend. Imogen wasn't all that convinced, but if it meant going to the school her Grandfather had, then she would agree to the plan her parents had made. Imogen was looking forward to going to Hogwarts awaiting the day of departure with great anticipation.

Imogen is now on her sixth year in Hogwarts and she loves it there. She now understands to a full grasp of why her mother had disliked being in Hogwarts. She understood that there were still wizards that didn't approve of having muggle blood in the family and that since her grandmother was a muggle she was frowned upon by many, but Imogen didn't let that affect her. She attends Hogwarts without a worry that she's a half-blood since many great witches and wizards have been half-bloods.

Father's Side: The Gladwynn name, known for it's muggle-hating reputation, had been a pureblood family until Randolph's and Pamelia's Son, Gulliver decided to marry the half-blood mut, Adeline. Gulliver was then disinherited from his family and forced to change surname, but Gulliver refused. He would not let his family intimidate him. Gulliver still carries the Gladwynn name hoping to put an end to the bad reputation his ancestors left for him.

Mother's Side: Adeline was the only witch in the Pierson family aside from her father, making her the black sheep. Unlike her husband's line of purebloods, Adeline's father had ended his pureblood line, by marrying Clarice, a young woman who he had met at work. The Pierson family wasn't really big on bloodline, but they were pretty disappointed about Oswald's decision of marrying into a poor family. Oswald was disinherited and forced to fend for himself. Oswald promised that he would never let his children suffer from poverty so he worked hard and accomplished his goal. When Oswald found out that his daughter Adeline was a witch he was quick to inscribe her into Hogwarts although he didn't expect for her to be put down for being a half-blood. Adeline suffered through her 7 years at Hogwarts and promised herself to never let her children go through that torture of being a half-blood.

History: Born on December 21st to parents with no known magical relatives or history, Adelaide grew up in the country with her parents. Personality: Freja could be described mainly as proud and somewhat undeniably arrogant. She keeps mostly to her own house and rarely hang out with those she doesn't consider worthy of her presence. To much surprise Freja care little about blood purity, but more about wealth and fame. She is keen to suck up to those she find 'worthy' to the point that it's pretty much unbearable for everyone involved.

While she has a good amount of hilariously bad traits, Freja is also rather clever and find no shame in manipulating people to her advantage. She is a quick learner and often gets annoyed if a classmate doesn't master a new spell as quickly as her. For her small circle of 'real friends', she could go horse lengths to help getting them out of trouble or save them from an unhealthy relationship.

On the Quidditch team, she is the chaser. Before stepping onto the Quidditch field before a match it's not uncommon to see her fool around and taunt the opposing team, but well on the field she gets stuff done with an unwavering concentration.

If she is passionate about something you will see her pour all her time and energy into either reaching her goals or master a certain practice.

If you get on her bad side you should be prepared to go through stages of being ignored and belittled by her. She rarely let those who harm her ego walk away unpunished, while those who feed her with praise will receive the best sort of favoritism.

History: In 1989 two pure-bloods, by the name Diana Fowler and Linus Becker met in an old run-down pub in the middle of Diagon Alley, London. The unexpected meeting would years later come to result in a decently happy marriage and the birth of their first and only child, Freja Becker.

Despite being born in the UK, Freja proud herself greatly with her father's Swedish ancestry. Her ancestry stretches far back to generations of Beckers that attended Durmstrang and made visible foot prints in the Scandinavian wizardry community. The Beckers has been a well respected pure-blood family in the north, and they first rose to fame in the 1734, when a wizard, named Niklas Becker took out a hoard of giants that had pestered a wizardry town for years.

Freja Becker is the first one in the Becker family to attend to Hogwarts instead Durmstrang, a decision made by her mother, Diana Fowler. The decision was met with great distaste among the rest of the Becker family members.

Freja has a strained relationship with her mother, especially after she denied Freja attending to Durmstrang in which she also had received a welcoming letter from. She felt as if her mother had purposely ruined her dream of keeping to the Becker family's tradition by sending her off to Hogwarts.

Freja speaks both languages, English and Swedish, fluently and enjoys books on the subject of old Norse magic. Even if her spells rarely succeed she still takes great pleasure in learning such uncommon magic.

Family:

Linus Becker is pure-blood wizard from southern Sweden. He attended to Durmstrang back in the days. In 1989 he traveled to London to deal with some Ministry of Magic affairs through his work as a Social Worker for Magical Families. There he fell in love with a witch named Diana Fowler.

Diana Fowler is pure-blood witch from London. While being pure-blood her family is one of the least famous pure-blood families out there and the family has never left any lasting impressions on the wizardry community. Personality: A very passionate and fun loving girl. She is adventurous and enjoys spending her days either lazing around or getting an adrenaline rush. She isn't a stickler for work and all, but is pretty smart. She is more talented in action, she is never afraid to volunteer first, or jump into danger. She doesn't mind loosing, because she believes what doesn't kill her only makes her stronger. She is somewhat intense at times, not a tomboy though, she loves all things girly.

History: Penelope is adopted. She never knew who her parents were and will probably never know. Her foster mom told her that she was placed on their doorstep in a basket with a egg and a scratched charm bracelet with the words Du Barry. Not wanting to be called Du all her life she picked the name Penelope from her favorite book. After a few years in foster care she was adopted by an American couple and shipped off to America where she would spend the next five years of her life. Growing up in America Pen, had always felt alienated by the others around her. Sure she had friends, but she never felt like they treated her well. In school she got along with all the boys in her class, playing sports and hanging out with them, it was the girls who she could never relate to. Girls didn't like her very much. Sure on the occasion they would treat her nicely, but usually they would pick on her. One day in 3rd grade, one of the girls poured purple paint all over her hair. It stained it, nothing would get the purple out of her hair. Penelope was so saddened by the destruction of her golden locks that she didn't go to school or leave the house. So her parents decided to fix the situation by dying her hair completely purple. Penelope loved it. She returned back to school and showed off her new purple hair to everyone. All the girls who bullied her were shocked and envious. Ever since that day Penelope has been dying her hair various colors, getting interested in art as well as sports, and steered clear of girls altogether.

She joined various sports teams, defense and art classes, and loved the library. She was more optimistic and cheerful about the world around her. She was surprised and excited that a owl came and delivered a letter saying she was invited to a boarding school. Not really impressed with going to any school other than Magic school and begged her parents to let her go. They reluctantly agreed. Secretly Pen wanted to go to find out more about her biological parents. She didn't know then that there was more than one magic school until she arrived. Pen was somewhat dejected that there were various schools that her biological parents could have attended. However, she didn't let that get her down and tried her best to be apart of Hogwarts.

She spent the first year wandering around the school not really sure how to contribute. She had very little confidence in herself and how she would participate in school. She knew nothing of the magical world, what to join or what to do. That is until she took her first flying class. She absolutely loved it. Flying high into the air the whole world open to her was like a dream come true. She instantly took to flying and her skills did not go unnoticed. Pen was recruited for the Quidditch team. At first she didn't know what to think, she never expected to be asked to join anything. She thought she would have to scramble and beg to join anything. She declined joining her first year, wanting to get a foothold in this new world before falling into one specific sport. However, after a year of being on the sidelines, she knew that Quidditch was exactly what she was looking for. She loved her team and more importantly she loved the game.

Being apart of something opened the whole wizarding world to her. She made friends, got involved in school and felt more confident in this new world. She became apart of the wizarding world and for the next few years, flew through her classes. She wasn't the top of her class, but she was certainly in the top 15. Pen spent most of her time exploring the area, sometimes, getting into trouble. Needless to say a few points were lost because she "went out of school borders" and "disturbed the peace." She really didn't care about the problems she caused, because what she experienced was certainly worth it.

Now starting off her sixth year she isn't letting anything get her down. She has had a nagging suspicion that her parents life are still hidden somewhere here. However, with the end in a year she thinks its time to let it go. Her life is just beginning and she can't hold on to a broken past forever. She is now looking to the future and has made it her resolution to at least try to get along with both girls and boys.

Joseph Triblune: adopted father and multibillionaire. Joseph invented a nano tech company that created various components used in almost every electronic from vending machines to missiles. Joseph couldn't stand his wife depressed with the lack of a child. He went to the adoption agency and spent years waiting for a child. When Penelope stepped off the plane he loved her instantly. He was uncertain of letting her go when she was accepted to Hogwarts. She was such a young girl and she has been through a lot. However, seeing her grow as a person every time she came home. He now believed that her going to Hogwarts was a great decision.

Biological:

Lydia Berrymill biological, pure-blood witch. All that can be scrounged out about her is that she went to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, but suddenly disappeared before graduating.

Father: Unknown, wizard. Nothing could be found about him except for a water damaged letter found in one of her mother's books from Beauxbatons. In the letter was the words "meet me at Hogwarts."

Her parents are death eaters who ran way after the final battle to be together. Her parents were hunted down by a group of anti death eaters and separated. Lydia had her baby unknowing as to where her husband was she left her daughter with a charm bracket and and a owl egg. She hoped that she would be able to find her child eventually however, she died of a curse put upon her. Hiding in one of the attics in a abandoned building in Knockturn Alley her husband found her. However it was too late to save his wife, before Lydia died she told him of their child. Their Daphne Umbrius-BerryMill. Her father has been tirelessly looking for their daughter leaving bodies in his trail to find her. However, it has never occurred to him that she has changed her name. He was last seen somewhere near Birmingham, and headed closer to his daughter.

Personality:

Kadin is energetic to the point of sometimes being a bit obnoxious, and easily distracted/amused by the smallest of details. His enthusiasm often shows in most of what he does, because if you can't enjoy doing it then what's the point of doing it? He is always seeking out the best things in people, in the world, and in bad situations.

With all this energy and happiness for anything, comes an also talkative personality though he does tend to quiet down when other people have something to say/need to get something off of their chest. Though Kadin isn't a push over, he often backs down from fights or shouting matches if solely to try and keep the peace. It was often a source of joke in how, though he's a red head, he didn't have much of a temper (truth be told, Kadin has a terrible temper... he just reserves it to be released when there is no one else around).

When Kadin is having an exceptionally bad day, he accepts that it's bad... and allows himself to be drug down- only for that day though. When other people are around, he still attempts to cheer up and can most of the time be moderately successful but even Kadin has off days... and when he's off, everyone knows he's off.

So to sum things up, Kadin is a happy-go-lucky guy who takes the time to share what he has with those around him- whether that be his chatter box mouth or an exceptionally well made lunch. He prefers the company of others, but also takes the time to appreciate being alone. All in all, Kadin looks at both sides of every story, as well as the middle side, the forgotten side, the side that's way waaaay over there, and the side written in invisible ink. And he accepts all sides because he believes that to be happy, you have to have bad in the world so you can really appreciate the good...

History:

Kadin's had a good life- what more is there to say? He grew up on a ranch with his family in America, 3 of his grandparents being really close and one living allll the way over in Scotland. His grandfather and grandmother owned the ranch he, his parents, his younger twin brother, and his two older sisters lived on. Kadin hadn't been much of a cow person.. so when he received a letter, from an owl no less, inviting him to Hogwarts school he leaped at the chance. Up until then he hadn't even known of the magic in the family- his father having set aside his magic to live as a muggle.

Actually, Kadin receiving the letter when his brother and sisters had not had a lot of trouble breaking loose within the family. Apparently, Kadin's mother side had magic as well though even she had never known since her parents had never told her about the existence of magic either.

At first both Kadin's parents refused his admittance, telling him that they needed him on the ranch and that it was unfair for him to be able to go when his siblings were not. Kadin pointed out that he'd be home during the summer, when they would truly need him most, and that his siblings were at least supporting him and even though they did envy his chance to become a wizard- they also didn't want to hold him back. Especially not his brother Jeremiah.

Kadin's first year at hogwarts was terrifying- he'd never had to be without his brother or family before... and he was traveling so far from home to go to this school. But on the bright side, his grandpa John lived in the area and came to visit him every now and then during the school year. Kadin wrote often to his siblings and parents, telling them all about what he had learned. His Dad purchased an owl so that Kadin didn't have to continue sending a school owl all the time, a simple Barn Owl that goes by the name of 'The Great Owl.' He seriously does not answer to anything else.

The second year at hogwards, Kadin tried out for the quidditch team.... but he didn't have the skills to make it that year. He spent the entirety of that year spending every spare moment flying on the school's broom, practicing with friends who were on the team, and working on his reflexes in general. By the time the his third year came around, Kadin made it onto the team with flying colors. Though he did not play in the first few games because the original Keeper was much better than him, he learned quickly and thankfully the Hufflepuff keeper was a 7th year and was going to graduate and move on to bigger and better things. A huge opportunity for Kadin. Meanwhile, Kadin was also working on excelling in classes and pushing much closer to the top ranking students in the school instead of just the upper middle of his class. For a gift, his father and mother got him brand new broomstick, top of the market at the end of his third year thanks to his grades and having stuck with the team even though he had only been able to play in one game that year.

As the years passed, Kadin became a fairly accomplished wizard. He was by no means the top of his class, but he was no where near the bottom and he had quite a few friends from his house alone but also a few friends from the other houses. In fact, Kadin found he didn't have any enemies.. or at least no open enemies that he knew of. He was just kind of... well if not loved by everybody, then accepted by everybody.

Now in his Sixth year, things look great for Kadin. He's considering finding some sort of job that has to do with Transfiguration and has been working on figuring out how to become an Animargus though he hasn't had any concrete luck- only having done research. It takes a truly well trained team play to get more than a few goals past Kadin. He's doing well in his classes, enjoys the time he gets with his friends, and truly has no real reason to be unhappy about anything. Bad days come and go but nothing drags him down.

Family:

Mother- Jane A nonmagical woman, though apparently magic is in her blood. Very much a tomboy and a hard worker- proud to discover her son was sorted into the house of hard workers.

Father- Kellen A rather feminine man, one who spends more time checking his appearance than his wife. Kellen didn't mind giving up magic since he wasn't really interested in it to begin with- much to the disappointment of both his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, his father going back to his homeland and leaving his mother to raise both him and his brother. His brother now works in the ministry of magic.

Brother- Jeremiah Kadin's twin and the most interested in the magical world, Jeremiah is also a top student at a non-magic school, as well as part of several sports teams. He's lived a fairly similar life to Kadin, oddly enough, just without magic.

Sister- Camilla The 2nd oldest and the one who dislikes magic the most, Camilla is still very supportive of her brother- though she often teases him that life without him is easy since she can just replace him with Jeremiah. Yeah... she can be a bit harsh with her teasing.

Sister- Veronica The oldest of the four, Veronica has little interest in magic except where it can be applied to the real world. She often has her father help her with experiments of mixing technology with spells. They've gotten into trouble once or twice with the law thanks to this... but nothing a Kellen's brother couldn't pull them out of.

Grandmother A very grandmotherly figure, she often bakes cookies and has 'The Great Owl' send them over to Kadin. Don't be fooled by her sweet smile, one wrong word and it's to the corner with you!

Grandfather A quiet man, he much prefers his time working then spending it around people- though he loves his family dearly. He never seems to be able to articulate what it is he really means and is often misplacing his tools (probably due to magic he doesn't really control). Both Kadin's grandparents have a secret about magic that they continue to hide from the rest of the family.

Grandma Clarice A nonmagic woman who is sweet yet at the same time very strict, and very loyal to her Christian faith. She sees what Kadin is doing as a sin... yet she accepts him all the same. She often says, when he bring sit up, that one bad decision does not ruin a man- though Kadin would argue the point, if he wasn't grateful for her acceptance.

Grandpa John He was a mystery to Kadin until he started going to school. John has very high hopes for Kadin, wanting the boy to take over what Kellen did not finish. He's very supportive of Kadin and is often sending him strange magical trinkets. He always offers to buy Kadin the latest broom models and he has never missed any of Kadin's games (as soon as he was actually playing, that is).

Personality: Riley is a rather reserved person, rarely (if ever) opening up to others. Actually, even when he thinks he's opened up to someone, he's probably still going to be really... cold towards them. "Cold" would accurately describe a good portion of his personality, actually. Cold and rather blunt. Really secretive too.

However, cold doesn't necessarily mean loud / annoyingly snarky in this case, as he's really quiet most of the time. When he speaks, it's usually either because a) the teacher called on him b) he's being forced into an awkward social situation or c) he's about to say something sort of important.

"Lazy" would also be an accurate way to describe him, as he tends to naturally gravitate towards the idea of sitting around doing nothing. (Or alternatively, sitting around playing muggle video games.) Muggle video games to him, for some odd reason, are almost as important to him as Quidditch, so if you're looking for a way to blackmail him...

During any sort of conflict, he's usually one of the people on the sidelines watching rather than actually getting involved. As a result, he's not particularly proud of being in his house and won't try to stand up for it (but isn't particularly interested in working against it either). However, trying to get in the way of Riley and his Quidditch is never a good idea. ...It's probably one of the only things he actually cares about.

His sense of self preservation definitely triumphs over anything else, though, and the thought of protecting friends / the people around him never seems to cross his mind when things get ugly. Riley would most likely just make a run for it (after grabbing a few of his muggle video games, of course). He also has a bit of an accent (although he desperately tries to hide this behind what he thinks to be a "normal" London accent). It's usually not too noticeable until he starts feeling panicked and reverts back to his original one, though.

While Riley's not particularly good at or interested in making friends, he'll definitely stick around if he feels you'll offer him some sort of protection / seem like someone he could potentially go hide behind when things get rough.

History: Riley was born on the 17th of November, 2000, to a half blood mediwitch and a muggle born mediwizard in Liverpool, England. While neither side of the family held much importance in the wizarding world, both his parents did have a bit of a reputation for being rather inconsistent with their allegiances / preferring to remain a little too neutral during conflicts. (And as it turned out, Riley was no different.)

His childhood wasn't particularly notable, but even then he'd been rather distant and would much rather have been playing the muggle video games his father brought him than interact with his peers. The only person who ever came close to being something of a friend to him was Ashling, but even then she was using him as a scapegoat for her pranks and reckless behavior more than anything else.

When he was around seven years old, his parents decided they’d move to London to work at St. Mungo’s instead (and felt that having Riley be further away from Ashling would be an improvement, as well). He reacted rather badly to this, however, and instead started to spend more and more time cooped up in the house with his video games.

His parents noticed and tried to intervene at first, but they eventually became too preoccupied with their jobs to be able to help out much. Fitting in also started to become something of a problem for him as the kids at school started to poke fun at him for having a slightly different accent. (Riley eventually found a way to cover this up though, and got better and better at hiding it.)

As he went off to Hogwarts, he didn't seem to be particularly interested in any of the students and usually just went his own way, avoiding them. Video games started to take up an alarmingly large portion of his free time (and the time he was supposed to be doing his homework in, for that matter). Then Riley discovered Quidditch. Before this, he'd never really paid much attention to it (or sports in general, for that matter), but now there was something he actually found himself enjoying other than his muggle video games.

Riley doesn't particularly exceed in any of his classes, and has alarmingly bad grades in others. For example, his worst classes — Care of Magical Creatures (which he thankfully doesn't take anymore), Astronomy and Charms. His favourite class would be Muggle Studies, but the one he gets the best grades on (which aren't too high, actually) is Herbology. The rest of his marks are either mediocre or bordering on being concerningly low.

Family:

Mother - A half blood witch by the name of Charlotte Leiper (was a Hufflepuff). Works as a mediwitch.

Father - A muggle born wizard by the name of Wallace Alden (was a Ravenclaw). Works as a mediwizard.

Pet: Wolfy is the lucky owner of a fiery-tempered and quick-to-bite—as the amount of pale, tiny scars littering the back of his hands and arms can tell you—male Spotted Owl known as Barnes.
Personality:

Generally light-hearted and easy-tempered, Wolfy is a person who tends to be rather friendly to everyone, often telling jokes and laughing quietly in the back of the classroom. However, one shouldn't mistake this sense of humor for a boisterous one--instead, it's usually quick and silver-tongued, murmured in passing or in the ear of a fellow classmate. He's not one to pull pranks or pull some convincing theatrics for his own amusement, nor one to get into loud arguments or disagreements; but don't mistake his passive nature as a docile one. There was a reason he was put into Slytherin, after all. If properly provoked, he's not unwilling to deign to commit some petty acts, usually small enough to not attract attention but just notable enough to create a sense of irritation. One could go so far as to call him passive aggressive in this way, and they wouldn't be too far from the mark.

Wolfy has ambitions, large ambitions (or not so large, depending), to become a Curse Breaker for Gingotts, fully aware of the dangers of the job. If one were to hinder those ambitions and hurt his chances of success--such as disrupting a class or some how sabotaging a group project--congratulations! Regardless of house or gender, that person would officially be on Wolfy's proverbial 'shit list'--complete with an honorable mention and a foreseeable future of being ignored in the halls with the exception of a polite smile, and a sudden tendency to find their things in odd places or tripping over nothing (as some unlucky Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and the occasional Slytherin can attest to). Fortunately, however, while Wolfy is more for convert aggression rather then a full-out face-to-face confrontation, his anger quickly fades, usually dissipating within a few short days. Still, it's enough of a hassle that most try not to get on his bad-side, as short as a stint as it would be.

Despite that, Wolfy is a fast and loyal friend (given that the other person has proven that they possess half a brain and a sense of manners); although he isn't the type to get upfront and personal, he will defend his friends and take their side unwaveringly, regardless if they do the same. The trusting nature he has, while it conflicts with his ambitions but coincides with the smile constantly on his face, could be taken as a weakness--one easily exploited, nonetheless--but also makes itself known as a strength through the fact he only surrounds himself with people who have proven to him that they're trustworthy, people he wanted to trust and who lived up to that expectation.

On a side note, he also possesses an odd mixture of a Scottish brogue and a slight (but noticeable at times) German accent. At times of distress or excitement, the two accents seem to clash rather terribly, making it hard for words to be understood around the burr. He's also prone to cursing in a mixture of both German and English, the language depending on how much he actually wants to be understood or taken as rude--which very isn't often. Additionally, he's able to speak a basic amount of Gobbledegook, thanks to his father, but is nowhere near the needed level of proficiency to be considered fluent--just enough to let the Goblins at Gringotts know that he knows the proper respects to pay them.

Likes:

While cheesecake, chocolate, and peanut butter are among the more humane things Wolfy enjoys, he also has an obsession with puzzles and Muggle magic-tricks (much to his parents' chagrin), as well as history and learning about the more ancient magics. Part of it stems from his desire to be a Curse-Breaker, while the other part of him just enjoys the concept magic in general—whether it be Muggle or not.

Dislikes:

The list of things that Wolfy dislikes or finds distasteful is long and repetitive, and would take a month or so to read, but he can easily pick out the things he absolutely detests. Any mention of his uncle's-cousion's-brother's-sister's-several-times-removed-nephew (and then some, but he got tired tracing it through the family tree), who the public knows as the Mad-Eye Moody, and anything in regards to his relations with him will probably earn the speaker a glare and a short while of silence before Wolfy forgets his anger and continues on talking. He hated talking about the man back when he was eleven and everyone was asking if he was going to try and become an Auror

(because, apparently, sharing the same surname grants you the ability to become just like them, according to half of the Gryffindors and a third of the Hufflepuff House), and he still hates it now. Wolfy also has a sharp aversion to, ironically, dogs; not out of fear, but rather the fact that they shed like mad and he happens to be allergic. The list continues with strong-mint flavoring, spicy foods, and then being lied to ties with people who disrupt class. One would take care to note the fact that he places his disliked foods above what he dislikes about people—whether that's true or simply the way he chose to list them could be debated.

Fears:

Wolfy has a near-crippling fear of heights (hence his refusal to play Quidditch), as well as a large fear of public speaking and large crowds—which is surprising, given his usually friendly and light temperament.
History:

Before one learns of Wolfy's birth, they must also learn of the circumstances surrounding it. The Moody line, as many can tell you, is wide-spread and filled with Aurors--however, that it only the Scottish half of the line. Somewhere along the tree, amid the twist and turns and the near-related spouses, the Moody family split: some stayed in Scotland, while others traveled to Germany. Bianka Moody is a descendent of those who left the rolling green hills of the U.K and also one who later returned, moving back to Scotland in order to begin her business. It was there she met Monroe Darrow, her future husband.

The two had a rather rocky start, seeing how one of the first things he did was to completely bypass any pureblood customs that were in place and greet her with too much familiarity to be polite, but as the two kept meeting in the Ministry--Bianka working to obtain her Broom Crafting license and Monroe burrowing through his paperwork in a mad dash to get promoted before the opening in the prestigious Goblin Liaison Office was taken--they began to talk more, and then began to step out. They were friendly excursions at first, innocent in nature, but their friendship lead into something more. When Bianka finally obtained her license she opened up a business and began to sell a line of brooms known as the Volatics (a play on the fact that her surname could also mean temperamental and volatile). They sold well, adding to her already immodest wealth--well enough that she considered moving back to Germany in order to expand her clientele.

After Monroe appealed to the head of the G.L Office for a international Floo Network to be arranged (in order to allow him to continue his work at the Ministry while living in Germany), the two moved to Berlin and later wed. Their first daughter, Franziska, was born a near two decades later, while their son Wolfram was born seven years after that, making them both on the older side of middle-aged at that time; Bianka had handed off her business to a young niece who had promise and took up freelancing her broom designs, making brooms that were odd or had special requirements for those who needed them, while Monroe had slowly risen to Head of the Goblin Liaison Office.

Raised as a pureblood child, Wolfy's childhood was filled with the smell of wood polish and his father whispering harsh, rasping words to him, trying to get him to learn Gobbledegook. While he did learned a few words, the guttural, inhuman sounds never felt quite natural in his mouth. So, he grew up babbling both in German and slightly broken English (as he preferred the former over the latter), with the occasionally words of Gobbledegook in order to appease his father. Franziska was shorted to Franzi after Wolfy was unable to pronounce her full name, and she would often take to chasing him shrieking about the house, the pursuit often landing in a harsh scrabble between the two. Despite this, the two siblings were relatively close, and spent a lot of time together.

When Wolfy was around eight, and Franziska around fifteen, the entire Moody family moved backed to Scotland and into the old manor that Monroe's parents had owned. However, moving brought more then its fair share of issues: Franziska was far from happy with the change, angry and tearful that she had to transfer to Hogwarts from her school in Germany, while Wolfy struggled to learn English fluently, now stuck in a country where a brogue was the norm and yelling out, "

Guten morgen!

" to their neighbors resulted in raised eyebrows and odd looks rather then warm greetings in return. The two slowly adjusted, however, and Wolfy took up magic tricks after witnessing some wizard mucking about with them when he went to go visit his father in his office at the Ministry, much to his mother's horror and his father's slightly proud embarrassment (who was still aware of how it looked to their pureblood acquaintances).

Finally, when Wolfy turned eleven he went off to Hogwarts, struggling through his first year as his older sister finished her seventh. She'd help him out occasionally, but it was difficult to do so given the divide between the houses, despite the fact that she was a Ravenclaw--with that, coupled with the fact that Wolfy still had some issues speaking English, he spent his first year somewhat isolated with only a few friends (one of them spoke German, but she transferred out before Second Year started; Wolfy was devastated). That summer, he made a desperate attempt to speak more fluently, driven by loneliness; his attempts were successful, and he returned the next year to Hogwarts speaking considerably better then he had before.

With that, the dark-haired German boy who had first arrived there, nervous and mumbling, grew more at ease with the environment, picking up behaviors that either stuck or faded--twirling his wand (which stuck), being a nuisance, being loud, being too quiet, being wittily cruel, being ridiculously kind (which somewhat stuck, didn't stick, didn't stick, didn't, didn't, didn't, respectively). Somewhere around his Fourth Year he witnessed an argument between a G.L. Office member and a goblin about the number of applicants for employment as Curse Breaker compared to the number of those who actually got through--and some part of him jumped up and decided that he wanted to become a Curse Breaker. The argument had piqued his interest, and the more he looked into it, the more it sounded attractive to him and the more it appealed to his interest; after that, much like what happened in the summer of Second Year, he was ambitious and threw himself into his schoolwork, confident in his success--something that is still apparent today, although slightly tempered down due to being faced with reality.

Personality: Nathaniel is your usual happy-go-lucky Gryffindor. He loves making people around him smile and pull pranks on teachers and fellow students. He feels at ease and comfortable around people with magical abilities, but can become very reserved around and towards muggles, as result growing up with around muggles deeming him as a freak of nature.

Nathaniel is a very affectionate person and when he takes to liking someone, he makes sure to show it. He will go out on the little extra to hear his friends' laughs, even if it means pulling some stunts that could possibly end up with him injuring himself.

Often he is a bit absent-minded, he misplaces homework, gets lost in the same castle he spent seven years in and forgets about deadlines. It's not uncommon to see him dozing off during an important test or receiving detention from not paying attention and blowing up a potion.

History: Nathaniel Greenfield was born into a muggle family and started to show magical abilities at the age of 7. He would accidentally injure his classmates and scare the living daylight of his muggle parents. More often than not he came to hate himself and his abilities. It was certainly a dark time in his life, where his parents only looked at him in fear and all his friends turned against him, and called him a freak.

His parents had always wanted more children but had been hesitant at the thought after they got Nathaniel. They thought the child might end up with the same sort of abilities as Nathaniel, and it them took almost 10 years after Nathaniel's birth before they got their second child. A daughter named Prim Greenfield, who has still yet to show sign of any magical abilities.

The Hogwarts letter became his rescue and he decided to make the best of his time there. Very grateful to be able to spend time around people that were like himself, people that understood him and didn't fear him.

Over time, Nathaniel regained a positive attitude and outlook on life. His parents also became less fearful, now that they understood more of what's going on. However Nathaniel was still not allowed to use magic around them apparently seeing the magic in person was still a bit frightening.

The years at Hogwarts passed like the blink of an eye and suddenly he was at his seventh year. While Nathaniel is very grateful for his time at Hogwarts and all the friend he made there, there is still something terribly scary about the fact that graduation is suddenly approaching.

He had always had this nagging fear that, what if he would become an outsider of the wizardry community after graduation? Would he have to go back to the muggle world and spend his whole life, isolated and lonely?

History:

Seville is the youngest child and heir of the prominent Dracyne family . The Dracyne's are an old family tracing their lineage as far back as early Greece, who are known for producing wizards who excel at Defense Against the Dark Arts and (ironically) even more so at the Dark Arts themselves. The Dracyne family is also known for the great lengths they've gone to maintain a pure wizarding blood line, so much so that most Dracyne marriages are arranged and never include anyone with even a hint of muggle-blood in their family line.

Seville was born in Romania and raised by her mother Raiani and grandfather Sevillus after whom she was named. As a child Seville was surrounded by the rigid structure and order of the Dracyne household and often longed for escape. This she found in long hours spent in her fathers study as he was, more often than not, away from home due to his job at the Ministry. Seville entertained herself by reading many of her father books, learning lore and many other interesting subjects.

Though Sevillus and Raiani often attempted to get the girl to focus on more practical skills like business and magic the girls thirst for knowledge and new skills refused all attempts at control. When the inevitable letter from Hogwarts arrived Seville was more than eager to depart. Hoping that the school would influence Seville in ways they could not she was sent off to the school with the Dracyne heirloom wand and her companion Sabine.

Initially it was believed that Seville would be placed in Ravenclaw (the first in a family of Slytherin alumnus) but the Sorting Hat sensed the drive behind that knowledge and placed her in Slytherin. Seville's true desire was not knowledge but the power to achieve her true goal, a unique mastery of DADA through a knowledge of the Dark Arts that could only be obtained through a knowledge of those very skilled themselves. So far Seville's years at Hogwarts have proved interesting and she finds herself steadily growing closer to her goal.

Personality: People generally perceive Mars as distant and reserved. Rarely does he 'reach out', so to speak, but this is merely because he doesn't require the same level of social stimulation or interaction that others typically seek (partly due to his being brought up in relative isolation as a child). He likes crowds, yes, but most of the time, he just feels overwhelmed by them. As such, he doesn't tend to talk much, but in the event that he does, everyone else automatically leans in a little bit closer to hear. Generally, he's not considered to be an overly emotional person, but he's still perfectly aware of and in touch with his emotions all the same; he's just a little more subtle at expressing them compared to most people.

Mars prioritises his privacy, making it a point to set aside some alone time to spend mulling about alone in his head, but he also makes sure to leave an ample amount of time for other people, in order to cultivate friendships and such. After all, one can never get too far in life without the help of a few friends. That doesn't mean he trusts all of them, though. He mostly assumes that people are honest and fair, but he's got a natural wariness about him, as well as a healthy skepticism for other people's motives that holds him back from trusting others completely - believing that a certain amount of deception in social relationships is necessary, especially due to the nature of his family's reputation.

He doesn't like talking about his family, period. He's made that clear enough the first time he hexed a fellow student for badgering him about his ill-fated half-breed brother. He's inherently secretive, and he keeps those secrets under lock and key, buried beneath the depths of his heart along with that of others. He's as trustworthy as he is loyal, and those two run a great length to ensure that whatever anyone tells him won't make it to anyone else's ears anytime soon. He hoards secrets like a dragon does gold, and protects them just as fiercely.

While he does not enjoy confrontation, he's not particularly averse to violence either. He will stand up for himself or push his point if he feels it is important. He's poised, confident, and clear of thought when stressed, however there are just some things that cannot be repressed, at which point he regresses into a short burst of anger usually channeled in the form of a particularly nasty spell directed towards the source of his displeasure. But mostly his emotions are on an even keel. Never erratic, rarely moody. He enjoys some excitement and risk-taking every now and again. Familiar routines are good, but sometimes he like to spice up his life with a bit of adventure and the occasional danger to get the adrenaline going. Mostly though, he merely prefers to sit back and smell the roses than indulge in high energy activities - other than Quidditch, of course.

Mars tends to prefer short-term pleasures and rewards over long-term consequences. He believes that he has the intelligence, common sense, drive, and self-control necessary for achieving success, but his sense of duty and obligation is only average at best. Mostly he's just content with getting the job done - preferably with the least amount of work possible to achieve it. He has a reasonable amount of willpower to be able to follow through on tasks, but more often than not, he gets distracted along the way and is known to procrastinate quite often. He also has this impulsiveness about him; he often catches himself saying or doing the first thing that comes to mind without deliberating alternatives and the probable consequences of those alternatives. Fears: Ever since he heard about what truly happened to his elder brother, all Mars had ever feared was himself - the endless cycle of whether or not he'll end up the same forever present at the darkest recesses of his mind. It's no secret that he was that particular brother's favourite sibling. They were alike, he and Xander, and he fears that that similarity in attitude will lead him to succumb to the darkness like his brother did. He fears for his father, too. He knows his old man's got enemies, and while he doesn't doubt his father's abilities to vanquish them all with a thought, he's well aware that there will come a day where the great Anaxagoras Blackwell will fall, and it is a prospect that well and truly terrifies him.
History: Marsellus Andronicus Blackwell came to the world amidst a chilly December evening. Nicknamed 'Mars', he was born in Paris, France at his mother's behest, and his father - being the man he was - had an entire hospital wing, including the Maternity Ward closed down specifically for the birth (he donated two additional wings and an undisclosed amount to the hospital shortly afterwards in his newborn son's name to make up for it). Majority of his childhood carried on to that effect: him taking a shine to one thing or another - be it a toy, a sweet, or a dragon - and his father would go to all ends of the Earth and back to give it to him (although he only got him a miniature Hungarian Horntail, and not necessarily the real thing).

All his life he was doted on, coddled, and spoiled. He was his mum's précieux petit ange, second only to his mother in his father's eyes, and adored and viciously protected by his much older siblings. But, of course, he only felt it if they were actually there. Sure, his father was always present to witness his firsts (though Mars had always suspected that a time-turner was involved somehow), but he barely saw him all the same. Thrice a week was already plenty when he was a child, and as he grew older, the visits got fewer and farther in between 'til it got to the point where five times a month became the norm. He saw his mum more times than his dad, but she, too, was often too busy breaking curses somewhere else to care for him. It did not help that his brothers only came home during the holidays, coupled by his brother Xander's disappearance when he was nine (he learned much later that Anaximander hadn't disappeared so much as sent to prison, and in Azkaban no less. It's a topic he forever remains uncomfortable discussing, still stuck in perpetual denial over his favourite brother's actions).

He was privileged, yet lonely; given everything, yet still unhappy. He thought, briefly, that his parents hated him, and that they only gave him things so he wouldn't act out. His father, especially. He was far too young to comprehend just who his father was back then (though he had at least a bit of an inkling that his dad must've been important, judging by the way he walked and talked); to him, the name 'Blackwell' was just like any other, and every ten year old had a mini-Hungarian Horntail in a fireproof cage in his bedroom and the latest Firebolt propped against his bedpost. It never occurred to him that he had it better than most - granted, he rarely ever left the family estate - so imagine what the first day of school must've been like for a boy as ridiculously sheltered as he was.

Mars was one of the few Blackwells who did not attend Durmstrang, and the fourth to go to Hogwarts (the rest went to Beauxbâtons). His father initially planned for him to go to Durmstrang, but his mother strongly opposed his decision, wanting him to go to Beauxbâtons instead. It quickly turned into an argument - his mother at one point threatening to leave his father and take Mars with her back to Paris - that soon descended into a full-blown duel in the middle of the living room ("I will not have my son consorting with savages!" His mother had screamed. "Would you rather have the boy cavorting with -- with pansies, instead? Nancy boys in powder blue?" Came father's reply. Mars barely caught anything else after that - explosions and the zing of spells being cast drowning out the voices below) that ended with the tip of his father's wand snapped clean off and his mother's embedded so deep in the concrete behind her that only half an inch of the handle could be seen sticking out. Demetrius came to visit shortly afterwards and, seeing the carnage that the duel left in its wake, calmly and quietly suggested Hogwarts, seeing as it was where Audrina graduated and that uncle Celestine taught Potions there as well.

And so it was settled, though with no small amount of more screaming and arguing (directed towards Demetrius, now), and threats of hexing, actual hexing, and the almost-casting of an Unbreakable Vow (this time, to his Uncle Celestine); and three and a half weeks later, the eleven year old Mars saw himself standing on Platform 9 3/4, seconds away from boarding the Hogwarts Express with his openly weeping mother wrapped around him in a bone-crushing hug.

Hogwarts was completely foreign to Mars, having only heard stories of Durmstrang growing up, and it was only when he entered the school that he realised just how different he really was from the other kids. He hadn't the slightest as to how to interact with the others at first, keeping mostly to himself through the first half of his first year. The other kids did well to stay away from him too, though he had no idea why (he had no concept of the stigma against Slytherins back then, nor was he aware of his father's fearsome reputation towards anyone other than the family cat). He tried mingling with other Slytherins on occasion, but he mostly found socialising tedious, especially since his family name seemed to attract the wrong type of people (usually self-proclaimed 'dark wizards', blood purists, or children of lesser families wanting to associate themselves with someone of a nobler bloodline).

It was only when he met Wolfy (full name, Wolfram Moody) that he realised that other people weren't always so bland and boring, and that having someone to talk to wasn't as terrible if you picked the right one - even if he could only barely understand the boy due to that bizarre accent of his. He started coming out of his shell a bit more after that - slowly but surely growing accustomed to the Hogwarts way of life, and adding more people to his list of friends along the way. He'd even learned to like Quidditch, earning a Chaser spot in Slytherin's roster during his fourth year, much to his mother's constant dismay.

Brief Info: Plenty of mystery surrounds the head of the Blackwell clan. Listed as one of the most powerful figures in the Wizarding World, Anaxagoras Blackwell has gained a reputation for being a notoriously private individual, and is known for being as dangerous as he is wealthy. Along with several other business ventures, he is holds an enormous stake in the Durmstrang Institute, where he completed his studies as a boy and where his parents, brother, and three of his children also graduated from. He has four sons: Demetrius (from whom he has three grandchildren) and Theodorus from his first wife, Adamantia (née Dragovic, Deceased since 1990); Marsellus with his second, Salomé; and Anaximander, his illegitimate half-Veela son who's currently serving three life sentences in Azkaban. He is also rumored to have a wand made out of Elder wood in his possession.

Salomé Blackwell (née Archambault), Forty (Mother)

Occupation: Former Curse-Breaker

Blood Status: Pure-Blood

Brief Info: Born to an old French wizarding clan, Salomé was educated in the prestigious l'académie de magie de Beauxbâtons. Though she started out a troublemaker, she went on to graduate with top marks, allowing her to pursue a career in Curse-Breaking. While working, she accidentally stumbled upon what appeared to be an old tomb. As she set about disabling curses, she accidentally set off several wards, alerting her presence to its owner: none other than the infamous Anaxagoras Blackwell. The 'tomb' was apparently one of his many hideouts and was only charmed to look as such to discourage others from snooping around. After a lengthy duel, she eventually managed to knock his wand from his hand. The rare feat earned her his admiration, causing him to pursue her for several years. Suffice to say, he succeeded, and Salomé went on to marry him in 1998.

Demetrius Blackwell, Twenty-Nine (Half-Brother)

Brief Info: Demetrius is Anaxagoras Blackwell's eldest son and heir. He graduated from the Durmstrang Institute at the age of seventeen with five 'Outstanding's in his N.E.W.T.s He had always dreamt of becoming an Auror as a child - a dream that began its fulfillment when he commenced Auror training at eighteen. He eventually came to work at the British Ministry of Magic's Auror Department three years later, and it was there that he met his future wife, Audrina (née Waynwood), an Obliviator. They married after a year and a half, after she accepted his proposal atop Stonehenge. Together, they have three children: seven year old twins, Caledon and Casimir, and a six year old girl named Cornelia.

Theodorus Blackwell, Twenty-Seven (Half-Brother)

Occupation: Unspeakable

Blood Status: Pure-Blood

Brief Info: Like his father and older brother, Theodorus (known simply as 'Theo' to his peers) was educated in the Durmstrang Institute. He graduated first in his class, earning an 'Outstanding' in all his N.E.W.Ts. He briefly considered taking a career as an Auror like his elder brother, even going as far as to complete a year of Auror training. However, he eventually chose to enter the Ministry in a completely different field: the Department of Mysteries. As an Unspeakable, he is prohibited from speaking about his work in the Ministry, but it is assumed by many to be one of high import.

Anaximander Blackwell, Twenty-Four (Half-Brother)

Occupation: None. Currently incarcerated in Azkaban.

Blood Status: Half-Breed (Half-Veela)

Brief Info: Anaximader ('Xander' for short) is the product of a brief tryst between Anaxagoras Blackwell and a Veela he met in Romania. The identity of his mother remains unknown, due to her disappearing after she left him with his father shortly after his birth. He was raised together with his half-brothers in the Blackwell's sprawling ancestral estate, and entered Durmstrang at eleven. Even as a child, he was known for being rather strange, with several unusual, sometimes sordid, tendencies. This persisted well into his years in school, where he was seen as a budding Dark Wizard - a path which led to the gruesome murder of three first years during his sixth year, and the subsequent trial that followed. At sixteen years old, he was sentenced to three life sentences - one for each murder - and sent to serve them at Azkaban.

Celestine Blackwell, Thirty-Nine (Uncle)

Occupation: Potions Professor at Hogwarts, and Head of the Ravenclaw House

Blood Status: Pure-Blood

Brief Info: Celestine is the youngest son of Anaxagoras Blackwell VI and Cresentia Blackwell (née König), and Anaxagoras Blackwell VII's estranged younger brother. He was known to be immensely skilled at Potions, as well as Dueling and D.A.D.A during his time at the Durmstrang Institute, and initially took on a job as a Potioneer upon graduation. This caused a rift between him and his elder brother, who wanted Celestine to manage part of the family business. The two did not speak in the years that followed, only exchanging words for the first time during their mother's funeral (their father passed on several years prior, while Celestine was in his fourth year). When he was Twenty-seven, he was offered a position in Hogwarts' faculty. He gladly accepted, teaching Potions for over ten years and becoming the Head of the Ravenclaw house in his fifth, following the retirement of Filius Flitwick.

Pet: There is a pet that Annie is very much fond of, his name is George and he is a grey tabby.
Personality: Annie is a very intelligent person, with a genuine oblivion to her attitude towards others. She's had many issues in the past, due to her lack of emotional expression and serious remarks. Most of the time, she's able to sort of understand when a situation is going the opposite way in which she intended for it to go. Truly, Annie means no emotional harm or mental harm with what she says, and it is very hard for her to express herself. Unlike most Ravenclaw students, she does not mean to come off as cocky or in any way make it seem like she is better than anyone else. Because of this, Anastasia has a limited amount of friends who actually understand her struggles. Most of the time, her remarks are meant to be helpful, no matter how blunt or hurtful they might be. This is something that she wishes to fix as time goes on.

Likes: To put it simply, she fits many of the stereotypical beliefs of what you might call a Geek. Classical music, Greek novels, studying, and reading up on the latest magical occurrences and advances are only some of her personal indulgences that are most frequently repeated. Although she's never shared this with anyone, Annie very much enjoys red tulips and receives them from her parents on every birthday she's ever celebrated. Classical music soothes her whenever she's not feeling exactly peachy, and helps her concentrate during her studying. Greek novels are something that Annie enjoys because of the mostly entertaining lessons and background knowledge involved in every story.

Dislikes: As you might've guessed, being a person with such a personality as explained, Anastasia is very picky. Among other things, at the top of her dislikes is obnoxiously loud and pointless music. Anything that might seem obnoxious like an ignorant personality and lethargic people also manage to top her list. Laziness only bothers her because she prefers to be busy and always occupied rather than sit and accomplish nothing. Even when reading a novel, they are mostly informative and are something she will academically benefit from. Ignorance is a weakness in Annie's opinion. It bothers her the most when she believes a person would be intelligent if they only cared a bit more. The cold weather, and unhealthy foods also top her list of dislikes.

Fears: Honestly, there is nothing more fearsome than dedicating such time into her intelligence and academic achievement, than failure. Mostly because she doesn't feel confident enough to comfort herself with the idea of being good at anything other than school. Anastasia is also not particularly fond of being put on the spot and fears humiliation if she is forced to publically speak.
History: Anastasia was born in the slightly cooler yet still warm days of August. The 20th, to be exact. Her parents were very overjoyed to receive their precious daughter whom they'd very patiently waited for. You see, Corina Crossheart was a sterile woman who had always longed for a child, especially a little girl. Her husband, Edward Crossheart finally came to the conclusion to find a witch that would be willing to be surrogate mother for a modest amount of money, in order to keep the child's pureblood line. Finally, after a long 2 years, the couple received the long awaited child with much care and love. The pair took very good care of their only child, and gave her all the attention one could ever want. Her father especially, pushed her to strive academically. This, for him to allow himself to brag about the brain his Princess possessed. Annie's mother filled the young child's schedule with piano lessons and ballet classes for the earlier years of her childhood. After Anastasia began to show her potential in Magic, her parents shifted views to focus them towards the witch she could most definitely become. Even now, her parents fill her with tutors during summer breaks. Spending her time at Hogwarts has only ever been a struggle for her parents, who miss their Princess when she is away. Frankly, Annie has never felt that attached to her loving parents no matter how much she tries. Sometimes her indifference towards her mother upsets the poor woman.

When Bridie was 8 she found a small baby owl in an abandoned nest their barn. Bridie thought the little owl's face looked like an apple cut in half, hense the name. Her mother taught her how to care for the bird and when Bridie went to Hogwarts the bird went as her companion. Apple has a knack for empathy and is quiet loyal to Bridie, and very affectionate towards her. She has her sulky days. As far as she can remember Bridie is her mama.
Personality: Bridie is a true Hufflepuff; patient, loyal, and hard working. She is a relatively quiet girl until you get to know her, then she is an exuberant, honest, a little sassy, and a friend till the end. She knows what it's like to work hard -being raised on a farm- and has no problem getting dirty, in fact, she loves it. History: Bridie was born in her family's home on crisp September afternoon, to a muggle woman and a wizard. Bridie's father, Daniel Lennon, was what some would call a "new generation" pureblood, somewhere down the line on both sides of his family a muggle came into the family lines. After Daniel graduated from Hogwarts (the school his family had gone to for a couple 100 years) he took to some traveling and adventuring around the world. He stopped in Scotland on his way back home to Ireland, in a very small village and there he met a beautiful muggle girl, Bonnie. They fell fast and hard, and married within the year. Daniel shared the secret of his magical world with his wife, and she showed him how to work hard like a muggle, their love grew and grew. Sadly it took them four years to conieve a child, when they did they were overjoyed. Bridie came into to this world just has her mother did, and her mother before that, and before that, in the cottage of the Grieve farm that had been in Bonnie's family for hundreds of years.

Bridie lived and interesting life of all things muggle and magic mixed together, but having to hide it from her grandparents. Bridie loved her parents and they loved her, their home was one of great warmth. Bridie's powers emerged a little late, and her father worried if she'd be a squib and if he'd make a mistake breaking the Statute of Secrecy; but Bridie's powers did come and a year later so did her letter from Hogwarts.

At the start of her first year Bridie was nervous and excited. She loved what she knew of magic, what her father showed her; but she wondered if what she knew was enough, would she fit in? She also knew she'd never been apart from her parents. When she arrived at Hogwarts she was pleased to see there were other just as amazed as her. However, in that year she fell pray to teasing and bullying. For her bloodline, for her brains, her hair, and for her way of speaking. (She had a thick Scottish accent and used "slang" often times it was hard for others to understand what she would be saying)

Bridie's second year brought anxiety, she truly loved Hogwarts and the things she was learning, Herbology among her favorite classes, but she dreaded returning to the ridicule. However, her parents told her to never let others get in the way of what you love. So she returned that year, but was a much different person. She was very quiet and spoke very little, and when she did (which was usually only answering questions) her accent was toned down and she made sure to speak more "politely". Her grades soared that year but her social life plummeted.

The following year was better and Bridie was able to gain a couple friends and time at Hogwarts seemed to fly. She was still quiet around others but those who took the time to actually know her got the real honest her.

Now in her sixth Bridie is more confident, still quiet, still studious, but she's a bolder kind of person and cant wait to see what the next two years hold.

After the family Birman had kittens when William was only a little boy, he was allowed to pick one of the bunch to keep as a pet. William chose the fuzziest looking of them naming it Waldo. William and Waldo developed a strong connection over the years. Waldo is a white fluffy birman cat with brown paws and tail. He has bright blue eyes and is incredibly fat weighing around 15 lbs (6.8 kg).

Waldo is the laziest cat William has ever seen. If Waldo isn't sleeping he's stuffing himself with his favorite brand of wet cat food. He wont eat the dry kind. Waldo is as spoiled as a cat can get. He has his own hundred dollar monogrammed pet bed and his personal supply of cat food. Waldo is the type of cat to pretend he's asleep so he wont have to chase the mouse. He loves to roll around in his bed and when he's in the mood jump onto William's bed and cuddle with him. Waldo is a sweetie. His weak spot is his left ear. Scratch that and you'll have him purring like a maniac.
Personality:

William is a flamboyant boy who's always in the search for excitement. He has a bright personality and is willing to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger just for the sake of not being bored. He has a funny personality that he loves to show off and is always in the mood for a good joke. Unlike his parents, William isn't big on his family name. He does come off as a spoiled rich boy at times, but honestly who wouldn't turn down money if it was offered? William loves living comfortably, but he doesn't let all the money get to his head...most of the time.

Many people thought William would end up like his father. Cold, distant, muggle hating, death eater, but William was the contrary. He has a warm heart which he presents as his best trait. He isn't quick to judge and believes there is a second side to every story. William is a loyal guy who will stick to a single group of friends his entire life. Although he is very sociable, only a select few are worthy enough for William to call his friends. William isn't very competitive. In fact, he tends to stay out of arguments and competitions. History:

William is the first born son of the Whickham household. Along with his younger twin brother and sister Wren and Wendolyn, the trio make up the children of Mr. and Mrs. Whickham. Despite the fact that Mr. Whickham spend all his sweat and tears into raising William as the heir of the Whickham fortune and fame, William wasn't interested in carrying the Whickham family name. William's personality was leaned more towards his mother's side than his father's. Mr. Whickham found William as a disgrace and if he had been allowed would have disowned him. However Mrs. Whickham was very protective of her little boy.

William grew up with the care of his mother and the rejection of his father. When Mr. Whickham noticed that William wasn't fit to carry the family name, he was very persistent on having a boy who would. To Mr. Whickham's surprise, he was able to bring two children to the world. Wren and Wendolyn. Both children took after their father leaving William as the black sheep of the family.

William, along with his brother and sister, attended the best private school money could buy. Wren and Wendolyn were quick to fit in, but William's naive and flamboyant nature, made him an easy target to the bullies in school which consisted of both his siblings plus a few other followers. William grew depressed as the taunting became more and more unbearable. Noticing a change in her son's attitude, Mrs. Whickham took William out of school and began a homeschooling program.

Although homeschooling helped William raise his self esteem again, Mr. Whickham was quick to tear it down. He scolded William for not being like his siblings and bashed his wife for spoiling the little brat. In his words, "William will never become a man if you keep spoon-feeding him every step of the way! He needs to grow some and become a man." William was devastated. All he ever wanted to do was please his father, but, for some reason or another, nothing was ever enough. William would never be like his father.

When William received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts, Mrs. Whickham was thrilled. She hadn't got the chance to attend Hogwarts, but from what her husband and acquaintances would say, it seemed like a dream school. Mr. Whickham was also a bit enthused by this although for the wrong reasons. Mr. Whickham saw William's acceptance as a chance for his first born son to redeem himself. If William was placed in Slytherine, just as his father and great grandfather were, Mr. Whickham was sure the house influence would shape his son.

However when a letter came from the school congratulating both parents for raising a Hufflepuff, Mr. Whickham was enraged. Not only had his son not continued the Slytherine Legacy, but he was place in what he considered the most inutile house of them all. He demanded for the re-evaluation of his son's house placement, but the Head Master wouldn't hear of it claiming that the sorting hat was never mistaken and that there was no shame of being a Hufflepuff.

When William returned home after his first year of school, he had become a completely different person. He had gained the self confidence he lacked and the bravery to confront his father's close mindedness. Mr. Whickham however took his new attitude as one of rebellion and weakness, not bravery. He said that his son's mind was spoiled by the ineptitude of the Hufflepuff house. William defended his house stating that it was simple to be cold hearted and ambitious like Slytherin's but it took a great deal of self respect and strength to be a Hufflepuff.

Tensions continued between Mr. Whickham and William with Mrs. Whickham being caught in the crossfire of the two. When Wren and Wendolyn both got their acceptance letters the tension only intensified. Mr. Whickham went out of his way to give the twins the best materials money could buy. He would spend hours teaching the two everything they needed to know about Hogwarts and the houses. He told them that the ideal house was Slytherin. "All the wizards who succeed end up in Sytherin. The nerds are in Ravenclaw. The snobby kids are in Gryffindor and the social rejects are in Hufflepuff. You guys do not want to be in Hufflepuff."

Mr. Whickham's strong work and effort was awarded when he heard both Wren and Wendolyn had been placed in Slytherin. From that moment on, it was clear which kids Mr. Whickham favored. He outdid himself for both Wren and Wendolyn and even stooped as low as to pretend William didn't even exist. For a growing teenage boy this was hard to overcome, even with his new personality change.

The tension between William and his father eventually lead to the separation of both parents. Mr. and Mrs. Whickham were two different birds trying to share a single nest. Their ideals were different, and although they had been able to overcome other situations, Mrs. Whickham would never get over the fact that Mr. Whickham would verbally abuse their own son. William took his mother's side on the argument. Like always they had each other's backs. The siblings however, with no say in the matter, had to stay with Mrs. Whickham because they were too young to decide what parent they got too live with.

A year has passed. William is in his seventh year at Hogwarts while his siblings are in their third year although they act as if they don't know each other. For Wren and Wendolyn, it is shameful to exchange words with a Hufflepuff, and for William, well it's just simpler to stay away from the two people who have made his life miserable. William loves Hogwarts. It's his escape from reality. It's the one place where he feels accepted. He has formed a tight bond with the rest of his Hufflepuff friends and he wouldn't change it for the world.

It is rumored that the Whickham's aided the Dark one, but there is no strong evidence to support it. The only reason why the rumor started was because of the Whickham's strong hatred towards muggles and their long history of being in Slytherine.

Mother's Side: The French family was one of the few prestigious family that had nothing to do with the war. Mr. and Mrs. French didn't want their only daughter, Wilma to affiliate herself with the dark arts. In order to keep her away from everything the French family moved to America and sent Wilma to the witch school over there. When the war was over, the French family returned to London and helped with the reconstruction. The French Family was known for their charitable work throughout the ministry of Magik. Mr. French was even offered a place as head, but he declined saying that too much power would lead to ruining his honorable family name.

Personality: Naomie is a quiet and studious girl, with an excellent attitude towards learning. That being said, she is in no way shy. She spent most of her life without contact with the general public, and those she did come into contact with where from pure blood families like her own. Many of her friends were animals and she spent a lot of her time in the woods around her families large house.

It wasn't until her grandmother started to insist she come visit that she took a liking to Quidditch. Her grandmother Izidora was a spirited old woman, and insisted Naomie start playing Quidditch. She introduced her to her Aunt, who taught her how to play. After that, when she went to visit her grandmother her time was spent practicing the rather enjoyable magic sport. Naomie also received her wand from her grandmother when she was 10, when the old lady took her out to Diagon Alley for the first time.

Her grandmother passed away later that year, and Naomie began to drift away from practically everyone. The only person, or animal, that she didn't start to avoid or stop talking to was her grandmothers cat, Ikki, who had come home with Naomie after her grandmothers funeral. The two started to grow closer, and eventually her parents accepted the cat as a part of the family.

While Naomie never fully adjusted to the loss of her favorite family member, she did eventually move on and grow happy once more.

Naomie's first year at Hogwarts was all one big blur. In the beginning, she had trouble getting used to being with so many other students. Eventually, she made friends who helped her and soon came to like the school. She did her best to stay out of the conflict between houses and enjoyed her first year. Throughout the following years, she made more friends, and enemies, but her life remained an enjoyable one.

Personality: Seraphine is a calm and composed young woman; she thinks everything through before acting and is in no way rash or impulsive. She's loyal to those she cares about, but she doesn't trust very easily. In fact, only those she considers family or friends are allowed to use her nickname. There is always a seed of doubt within her until she's positive of a person's motives. Seraphine is also cunning, sly, and ambitious, but she uses her mind rather than tactics to get what she wants. She's in no way arrogant- spoiled, yes. What rich kid isn't?- but she's funny and enjoys time with her friends.

She doesn't particularly like playing Quidditch but has no problem watching; she prefers flying on thestrals or hipogriffs to brooms. When there is nothing to do and her friends are busy, she's either reading, studying, double checking homework, writing songs, or visiting the thestrals in the Forbidden Forest. She's brave, but not in a Gryffindor way. Seraphine doesn't dash head-on into a situation without preparation. History: Seraphine was a miracle child for her parents. It had been predicted that Corinne (her mother) wouldn't have children after her accident two years after her marriage to Neculai (Seraphine's father). For that reason, Corinne had been shunned from her family. Due to that event, the couple had moved to Magical Britain to begin their lives anew. The only person who even continued to correspond with her was her twin brother. After hearing of Seraphine's unexpected conception, Corinne's family wanted to become acquainted with the Beaumont heiress. Despite past tension between them, Seraphine brought them all together. She was spoiled by her relatives, even more so by her parents and favorite uncle.

At the age of five, she was able to read books far beyond what they had believed she'd be capable of. However, it soon became known that Serpahine had an eidetic memory which made it easier for her to contain the information she studied. Her uncle Alfonse began teaching her Potions since he was an acclaimed Potions Master. She fell in love with the subject and perused every book within her family's library. It wasn't long before they began teaching her other subjects so she would be well-versed.

On the eve of her eleventh birthday, Serpahine received her Hogwarts letter which generated much enthusiasm from the young girl. Having spent most of her life in Magical Britain, she wasn't too worried about where to shop for her necessities for her new school. Neither of her parents had gone to Hogwarts. Her mother had gone to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic while her father had attended Durmstrang Institute, but they were very proud of their only child. They both agreed that if she didn't make it into Slytherin, she would be an excellent Ravenclaw with her insatiable need for knowledge.

On her first day, she was as eager as any other first year should have been. And as the year went by, Seraphine found herself slightly dispirited by the house rivalry. It didn’t help that a few Gryffindors hassled her the first week due to her slight accent. Within weeks, her temper was known amongst her peers. Protecting her own house and her friends became a daily issue for her. It made it very difficult for her to befriend many people outside of her own house. Ravenclaw, however, was a house she adored after Slytherin. She had been invited on many ocassions by the badgers to their common room, and she spent most of her time there working on her assignments. Between the Ravenclaws and Slytherins, Seraphine had made many great friends. And it only continued as the years went by. The only thing she could possibly complain about was how routine her life had become. Now, in her sixth year, she’s hoping something might just pique her interest and end her mundane pattern at the school.
