I need opinions

Diehard Fallout and MGS fan
What do you guys think of an RPG style thread?

I'd like to create an RP set in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout. only instead of everyone having a character, there will be one protagonist that will start out low that interacts with the world around him/her. the way it'll work is I will post scenarios the character finds him/herself in and give a variety of choices on how to deal with said scenarios. Then, everyone will have a vote on what to do. I plan on making it a true RPG, where every choice alters the future choices and events. Keep in mind scenarios won't all be combat, I also plan on keeping previously met NPC's in the mechanics. Say you meet a trader and save his life, you part ways then see him in the future, the outcome could be him giving you something free. While if when you first meet, you don't like him and deeply offend him, then the next encounter could lead to raised prices or out-right refusal to barter with you. Then you could possibly try and kill him in a multitude of ways depending on your stats.

Which brings me to the level system, yes you will be able to level up, following the classic RPG style. when you level up, you can adjust 7 General stats known as your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. or Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. all of which play a key role in how you can deal with certain situations. you may gain experience from handling situations, depending of course on how well the outcome is. if it's bad enough then you don't get any experience.

So please tell me what you guys think, I'd like to do this but i need outside opinions from the audience.

I love RPG's and this sounds interesting, but will this mean that basically you play by yourself, but what your character does depends on what we vote for you to do? Do we get to decide on what the options will be before we choose from them, or do you come up with these too?

Well, the reason I put it in nation building is because you guys will build the character from scratch by the decisions you make. And the choices are presented according to your stats, say you have high perception and agility and you see a raider in the distance. You saw him early on because of the perception and if you have a rifle then you could try and snipe him from a safe distance thanks to your agility. If you had low perception then you would probably run head on with the raider.

... Hmm here, check this out. Mine will be in the same basic style

Ahh I see, I get it now. Well, I would certainly be curious how this will evolve.
