Hey guys,


I have had my eyes on RPN for a while now ever since I decided to get back into RPing. I used to be extremely active in the Gaia Online roleplaying scene and this just seems like the best place to be right now.


So nice to meet yall! I'm Prog, and I am into stuff like Sci-Fi and Fantasy. The less realistic the better (as long as it's still believable right?) I am curious how this is going to go for me. I have been a part of the NaNoWriMo community for a couple years where I discovered I am a "pants-er". Meaning that I don't like to plan anything I write out. I do it all spur of the moment and my writing is all the better for it.


But anyways, I don't wanna write an autobiography or anything, so yeah I look forward to meeting all of yall.

EDIT: The poll is just so I can get a feel for the community here a little better. I come from a place where romance was a necessity and so I learned to be okay with it, but I am not heavily in favor of it. I always see it as a fallback when there is no other interesting plot ideas.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.
