[SIZE=7.5pt]ikumi has always been shy and timid, but her most prominent part to her personality is that she is obedient. she complies to everyone and does what she is told. she hates her ghoul side, in fact, and hates even more that she has to kill to survive. as a ghoul and as a human, she is wise. wise beyond measures and cunning as can be. that is her strategy when she fights. she uses her speed and her wits to get her through. ikumi does not rely on her size or strength or power. ikumi gets emotional sometimes and can be childish as well.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=7.5pt]ikumi's father was abusive to her mother when she was a baby. the reason as to why he was abusive to her was that he thought she should be the one to take care of the child while he goes to work. he wanted nothing to do with the child. he hit her mother because she didn't want the baby and didn't want to take care of it. she actually didn't care if ikumi was held like a ragdoll and thrown into her bed as an infant. she did it herself as well. so, she had enough one day and just left. no one was sure where she had gone. many rumors were about her throwing herself off of a bridge. but those were rumors. nobody knew the truth.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=7.5pt]ikumi's father was relieved. that woman was gone. he wasn't sure what to do with the child. he first thought about getting rid of it, but he didn't want to deal with the chores and cooking meals. so his plan was to raise her and beat her and order her around. that was exactly what he did. ikumi grew up that way.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=7.5pt]she didn't leave the house, except for a few groceries every now and then. the door was locked day and night anyways. so she just stayed at home and did chores and prepared supper for her father when he would return home ... most likely high or drunk.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=7.5pt]she had the nerve to leave the house, and not for groceries. just for a few minutes, she told herself. in an antique shoppe, she met a girl and made friends with her. she didn't know the girl was a ghoul. the two of them found themselves in the middle of an alley fight of ghouls and investigators near the shoppe. ikumi nearly dying more than a few times when the building collapsed on top of her, crushing her body. a wicked ghoul girl took ikumi, her friend, and a powerful ghoul into her apartment. her friend was fine, the powerful ghoul was getting better, but ikumi was dying. she didn't have the regeneration powers like the other two. so the girl ghoul that had rescued her took her to the hospital. at this point, ikumi was so traumatized by ghouls that she never wanted to see one again.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=7.5pt]her surgery was performed by a clinic that held a few ghoul doctors roaming around it that did horrible things to their patients. ikumi woke up as a half ghoul, but she didn't know it. the breakfast tart she ate tasted like motor oil. the surgeon revealed himself as a ghoul and she took off running. this ghoul had tried to poison her with a tart and tell her she was part ghoul. he must be kidding with her, he must be. he was a ghoul, and you couldn't trust a ghoul.[/SIZE]
