You wake up in a daze, you know something is important, something that you have been looking forward to for so long... Then it hits you, the Hunter Exam, you have to leave for it today! You run to get prepared in however your routine wills it, brushing your teeth (hopefully), having a hardy breakfast and running to acquire your passport for travel. Just who are you?

(Two or three glaring weaknesses, depending on how much you put into their abilities. These are things that will give your character room to grow!)

Backstory:
Cetra was born and raised in a distant, ergo-technological based city called Neo City. She was born and raised by her father, Voyd Shinen, whom was also the General and leader of the city's military police called the Cybertechnic-Elite-Logistic-Legion. She was also raised with her two year younger sister, Olivia, and her older brother, Lenshric. Her mother Steela works as a covert operations agent for the elite military known as CELL Also. the CELL job is to respond to severe and utmost perilous threats of city-wide security, and handle those cases that can't be solved by regular means. The Shinen family has become quite the reputable agents, thus giving her family name a bit of renown status, however not big enough to be far reaching. Cetra grew up tinkering with the tech and electronics at her parent's line of work, with Olivia following in suit. Lenshric was battle trained and accustomed to take Voyd's position one day as a prodigy. Steela tried her best to keep her girls from the business until they became of age, where her plan was to eventually teach them then that they may take a place in CELL to help the city stay safe. However, this was not how it happened. Olivia developed an intense passion to join CELL, but Cetra... she was different. Cetra was born with the ability to speak, but for some reason never would. She would rarely ever say anything, her family believing it as an illness. Only Olivia and Lenshric knew it was simply Cetra's disposition not to speak, her voice becoming as valued to hear as seeing a Triple Star Hunter in action. She was dubbed "Mute" by her siblings. Steela raised the kids as much she could while Voyd was running CELL and vice versa. All three were trained in CQB, intelligence, recon, and logistic and tactical operation & warfare; things NO kids should have to learn coming up. IT made Cetra cold and aloof, mature and wise beyond the years of her peers. She would never say it, but she wanted more than the astounding city and CELL. She wanted to see the world. Her parents would surely condemn her for it.

It was here Cetra discovered her natural sense of direction and reflexes, running away to the outskirts & escaping many feral creatures and always mysteriously finding her way back home when in a pinch. Around 14 she became intrigued in exploration and adventure, taking her skills taught by her parents to program different gadgets and weapons she would tinker with in her free time. Soon she would begin using these on her getaways; trapping, and even subduing some creatures from time to time. Her mother found out and nearly exiled Cetra to the house, greatly opposed to her going out on her own and getting in danger, though secretly Steela seen the potential in Cetra. Olivia however was the opposite, more prone to stay around the office and learn the tactical and political side from the inside out. Cetra and Lenshric were more like twins than just siblings, capable of finishing each others' sentences and thoughts. And then the day came where Neo City was attacked by rampant beasts fro the sewers when Cetra was 16. This horrified and both amazed her, and a stern and introverted Steela and Voyd only seemed mildly bothered by the tragedy. Until CELL was joined by another power. They called themselves Hunters. They showcased skills that matched, hell maybe even passed CELL's. This was a sign to Cetra that there was more out there for her...she could be greater. This created a wedge between parents and daughter, with Voyd assuring her that she would be better off here, as CELL has tactics and combat to counter even the best hunters. Cetra became obsessed with finding hunters, locking herself in her room doing research on them. She took it upon herself to find hunters and become one herself, if her parent's wouldn't be approving enough. There was only one surefire way to attain the means, power, and authority to do so without question, and without her parents ordering her back home. To successfully become a hunter. Thus, in the middle of the night, Cetra left a note & snuck away and trekked towards the Annual Hunter's Exam. The world was about to see just how capable she really was. She was going to find her destiny.

Reason for becoming a Hunter?:
To explore the world, and to take her already elite skills to an even greater level. To find who she's truly meant to become.

Abilities:

  • Extreme flexibility and nimbleness.
  • Capable of acute stealth in shadows and darkness. Adept stealth otherwise.
  • Adept use in one-handed blades, polearms, as well as firearm weapons. VERY Proficient in CQB.
⦁ Natural affinity for direction, automatically knows where she is and what direction is what.
⦁ Insane reflexes, agility, and precision.
⦁ Working under her parents whom are Capital Agents, Cetra has attained adept tracking and deductive skills.
⦁ Also, being raised with an interest in logistics, she's a technical brilliant mind when it comes to tactics, devices, and computers.
⦁ Has very extensive knowledge on the various types of Hunters and their duties and responsibilities.



Weaknesses:

  • Her Aloof nature and coldness can cause her to become detached and hyperfocused, which will lead to lack of awareness in other areas gradually.
  • She's also very distrusting, and her paranoia sometimes clouds her from making the best moral choice or expected decision.
  • Relatively imbalanced when it comes to emotions, sometimes making her sensitive to situations or circumstances of not interacting with the outside world.
  • As extensive as her training is, she cannot by any means perform perfect feats such as taking down a group or handling more than two combatants.
  • Terrible at communication and effectively interacting with people. Has a way with words in the most terrible way.
  • Her family. She's very suggestible and gullible when it comes to the words and whims of her family.

Backstory:
Faas hails from NGL, a nation known for their hate of anything technology related. Isolated from the world because of this, Faas's life was quite lonely, but tranquil at the same time. As a child he learned how to feed himself by hunting for animals, though was always watched with a firm eye by his parents, who were wary of beasts. Faas disliked the NGL life, hearing little rumors that poked in and out of his community, sparking a curiosity of what really lied beyond the borders. He loved his family however and refused to leave them.

At the age of twelve, his small village was attacked by a herd of beasts. While many people died in this attack, there would have been countless casualties had it not been for a hunter roaming the area in search of a rare plant home to the NGL region. The village was grateful to the hunter, even though he had infiltrated their territory illegally, they could not deny that he had saved their life and as such, did not inform their leader about this infringement. Faas was adamant about talking to the hunter, before his savior crossed the border, Fa approached the man, filled with a million questions. Faas asked about the outside world and what the man was doing. The hunter told of his job, looking for rare plants and animals to create medicines and Faas was hooked. Faas, still traumatized by the beasts who attacked his village, realized he could not stand idle forever. He asked the hunter to sneak him out of NGL, while the hunter was skeptical at first, he eventually agreed.

Faas roamed the land for the next seven years, training for the hunter exam. While he missed his family, he vowed to return more powerful to extinguish all the beasts who threatened them.

Reason for becoming a Hunter?:
He wants to get a license so he can become a Beast Hunter.

- Is rather poor with his feet compared to most hunters.

Personality:
Most people would describe Min as a flirtratious, sarcastic little pain in the butt. He likes nothing more than being right, and is proud about his strength and achievements. However, he is also a very open minded person, and doesn't mind being friends with many different kinds of people and learning all sorts of new things. He likes helping people out, yet he is stubborn about getting out of trouble with his own strength. The thing that bothers him the most is being underestimated.
Backstory: Min grew up in the City of Falling Stars, away from society. His mother migrated there with him as a newborn baby, after their village was ransacked. She was so traumatized that she never even told him the name of the place he was born in, but it didn't really bother him that much. They were too busy surviving to care about the past.
His mom, Fai Lee, was an expert martial artist who taught him everything she knew from an early age, and that combined with the fact that he had to fight for his life almost daily made him strong and agile. He became well known in the city as a tough opponent, and people seeking the thrill of the fight challenged him often. He won some and lost some, but learned from all, and had to kill more than once. Regardless, he maintained a good mood to get his mother from worrying.
Min also developed a certain habit of gambling to make some money, usually aking people to dare him to do something dangerous or stupid, and getting a nice sum of money in exchange.
Reason for becoming a Hunter?: He was dared to pass the exam on the first try and prove it with his License, which will win him 500.000 in nice hard cash.
Abilities:
>Kenpo. He is a very talented martial artist, master of a very flexible style that uses mostly strong and fast kicks. He knows how to use the weight and tempo of his opponents against them. He can take a hit, but his constitution isn't his strongest point.
>Really good at poker and sleight of hand tricks. He tends to pickpocket distracted people, but only those who he thinks can afford it. He knows what being dirt poor is like.
>Extremely good hearing. Like, really good. Almost Gon level.

Backstory:
Cilla was born on August 25 in the Mimbo Republic and located in the same city as the Tower of Heaven. Her father ,Jonathan Welsh, is the CEO of one of the biggest technology and weapons companies in world. Her mother, Sarah Welsh, also worked alongside her husband as they grew and expanded their companies. They loved their daughter whole heartily but both parents tend to put there work over their daughter. They would regualry leave there daughter with her nanny because they were always busy with work.


This didn’t stop Cillia from growing up and being a very hyper and goofy child. When the family was together Cilla always cracked jokes just so she could see her parents smile. At age five Cilla became very fascinated with technology. She would ask her parents to bring home old models and other parts so she could play with them. By age ten she was able to take apart and repair almost any piece of technology. However this didn’t satisfy Cilla’s curious mind. She began to study and learn to program and became intermediate in the skill. Along with technology she had also took an interest in weapons. In her spare time she would study different types of weapons whether it was Melee or firearm. Her parents was thrilled that she was taking an interest in both companies.


Even though she had become knowledgeable on technology and weapons she still felt that there was something missing from her life. When she was 14 her father took her to watch a battle at the Heaven’s Arena. This was when she realized what she wanted to do. She watched as a female hunter battled and fought in the arena. She was intrigued by the hunter and the aura she possessed. On that day she knew that she was meant to become a hunter. When she told her parents about it however they shot her down immediately telling her that becoming a hunter was impossible and a silly fantasy of hers. For several months Cilla believed them but has those months went on she continued to think of what would happen if she didn’t try. She didn’t want to be stuck in the same place forever and wanted to see the world outside the city.


For the next 2 years Cilla trained preparing for the Hunter Exam. She also spent that time secretly saving money. Her nanny was all for her going to the hunter exam and helped her in anyways she could. A week before the exam Cilla told her parents she was going on a field trip, but in reality she was going to exam. She could hardly contain her excitement. She had been trapped by her family’s business for years but now she was starting a new chapter in her life that she could only wonder what it would hold.

Reason for becoming a Hunter?:
She wants to be more than just a heir to her family business. She wants to be a huntress and travel the world and help people in need. Like a superhero!!

She also really wants to compete in the Tower of Heaven.


Abilities:
Agility- She can move very quickly and dodge very well. She has insane reflexes

Technology- She’s an expert on all things tech. Even if she’s never seen it before in a matter of seconds Cilla can probably figure out how it works, take it apart, and put it together.

Weapons- She can name off countless types of weapons. And can even repair several different guns. She also can use most guns decently. (No expert though)

Strategy- She’s not the best fighter so she has learned to make a game plan for everything she does. (Things doesn’t mean just fighting)

Comedy/Optimistic- Even if she’s in a bad situation she’ll keep all her feeling pent up on the inside and instead try and make everyone else feel better about the situation

Weaknesses:

Over thinker- Cilla wants to be the best in everything she does and wants to help everyone so even though she’s strong at coming up with strategies she tends to over think them at times and wonder if she’s making the best decision. Also se can be very blunt so when she is blunt most likely afterwards she’s wondering in her mind if she was to blunt or has hurt someone's feelings.

Lack of Combat skills- Cilla has had basic hand to hand combat training but that is a much as she has. She realize more on fast quick attacks and not long drown out fights.

Pent up Feelings- Growing up Cilla learned to hide her true feeling from her parents because she wanted all there time together to be happy. This causes her to feel alone sometimes. If she ever blows up on you it’s most likely because she has several other feelings pent up inside her. She has a hard time sharing these feelings with people.

  • "well that isn't very kind": personality
    Blake on the outside, seems to be very . . stoic. When people first meet him he gives off a kind and layed back attitude that makes people believe in him, and want to trust him more. Kind and warming, he's the kind of person you go to if you want to rant to, he's the kind of guy that you get really close to, and feel as if you can tell everything to. he'll never betray you, and as such is very loyal. But, that's more of a facade he puts on his surface. Bellow, don't get me wrong he's not evil, but he's not necessarily . . . "kind". He has a very logical mindset, things happen for a reason, life is set and every event in your life leads up to another, nothing more, nothing less. What you see on the outside, is more of a subconscious state of mind he holds as to focus most of his energy on something else. He generally doesn't care nor does he give mind to how he is perceived by others, and if need be will actively antagonize those around him just for the sake of doing so. He generally does not like to show much emotion, and as lazy and relaxed as he seems on the outside, he's constantly worried about those around him and always keeps on guard. As Trustworthy as he may seem, it will take a LOT to get him to trust another person. Instead of trusting them, he'd rather put up multiple walls around his Psyche, with one way windows lined around said walls like an alloy. He can see on the outside, but no one can see him. Close enough to communicate, but not close enough to touch him. The perfect balance.

    Blake is very intelligent, seeming to go hand in hand with his overly cautious nature. When he has a set goal in mind, no matter those around him, no matter what he may say or what he may do, he plans on achieving that goal he puts before him. He's like a computer, with every moving segment in his life he analyzes every and all possible outcomes and variables and modicum of data that he can gather, and with said data move onward with every intention of doing what he can to maximize the chances of arriving at his goal. Planning ahead is what he does best, taking in everything around him he sets up traps or situations to play out in his mind, and if he dislikes said situations he actively enforces a sort of negative impact on it, in all arriving at the closest thing to success in play. As many people as you may meet in your life you most likely will never meet anyone as over cautious and overly prepared as Blake Natak. One of his faulty qualities, that sometimes he establishes but doesn't visit back to, is the thought of putting all other ideals and goals behind his own, sometimes even endangering himself and others in the sake of achieving his goal. Going even father to have life threatening positions on himself, as long as he gets to his goal. He actively, or sometimes subconsciously, ignores all warnings and negativity towards his life choices and what he wants to do with his life, be that negativity be good and help him in the long run, or bad, to try to limit his free will.

    Blake, as it has been very well established at this point, is goal oriented. When he has a plan in set, a goal or mission to accomplish, he will do it with the utmost efficiency. He's the type of person to skip chances of breaks, work overtime, and never take a vacation in order to achieve set goal in mind to both meet and sometimes exceed the gifted deadline. He's very logical and Analytical, being excessive in these aspects, pouring over every ounce of information and possible variable seeking contingency plans for anything that could hinder him from reaching their goals. To him, everything happens for a reason, everything can be oversimplified to certain points in ones lifetime. If he can pinpoint and focus on said points in ones lifetime, he can than plan towards a greater goal and outcome. He's very reserved and practically impossible to read, he keeps his emotions down pact, and his poker face is one to be feared. Though, these aspects are helpful and strong, they could also be his downfall. His goal-oriented nature is a double-edged sword, to be sure. While he can always be counted on to get the job done, he can also be expected to make any sacrifice to do so. He is normally the one most likely to suffer from stress-related health problems, damaged social/personal relationships, and over-exertion simply due to how much of himself invests in his goals. Due to his cautious nature, he can sometimes be isolated within himself pushing away potential relationships and experiences.

    Blake is headstrong and stubborn, as we have analyzed at this point. He is independent and would rather do things by himself rather than work in a group, but as such is not stubborn or arrogant enough to not admit he needs help. When he truly desires and requires the aid of other people, he will take it, as long as it helps his overall goal. He has a core trait of fixation, generally focusing on a goal and never deterring from it. As stated before, this helps him a lot, but . . . If he isn't careful, it could be his downfall. He's very creative, able to think up things that have never been created before off of his own mind, or play off existing creations to make something better what what it once was. He has Anxiety as well, a sort of power formed anxiety that causes him to feel as if he is not ready to take his kingdom back unless he has an overwhelming force and power to stack against his opponent. This makes some think he has an overwhelming sense of Greed. That is not the case, he just holds an overwhelming need to be sure that nothing can go wrong before he can utilize a plan.

Personality:
Rag has 3 main traits to his personality, his gentlemanly behavior and morals, his impressionable and happy go lucky attitude, and his instinct for adventure and survival. His gentlemanly behavior stems from his early childhood, being raised to treat people kindly and to trust those he thinks deserves it but the main source of his behavior was wanting to make his mother happy by acting more formal and polite, leading him to study and learn how to act more proper by reading numerous books containing main themes with chivalry or noble and generous main characters, adopting an honorable and courteous personality. However, he still enjoys fighting and competition and will use underhanded tactics to win unless there are rules regarding it or if the match is defined as a gentleman's duel, following all the rules and regulations even if they are unfair or simply too much.

His easygoing personality was due to his father's influence on him teaching him to making the most of what little time they have and to live and die with a smile on their face. Though his father did teach him the joys of living life he himself admits he has barely seen anything in this world, this later is confirmed to be true as he has a tendency overreact and become distracted when discovering something he deems as amazing for example after discovering gaming consoles for the first time he shut himself in his room for a week and didn't sleep or eat anything until he was forced out.

His adventurous personality was always something he seemed to have but his father was the one who showed him or at least told him the meaning of being a human and being the type of people they are. The gist of what he told him was that the only thing human beings need to do in life is die yet they chose to survive as if they can stop it or at least delay it long enough to leave something important so they can be remembered in memory and in history, they are something different, they don't want to survive they want to thrive and leave something behind to be remembered until the end of the world and even after that. This becomes his motto, fueling him to train to become a Hunter in the hopes of becoming "immortal" and also turns him into a person who firmly stands for his morals, always wanting to move forward even when he believes he can no longer walk or always wanting to stay awake even though he becomes more and more tired.

Backstory:
Rag was born twenty-four years ago to Gokuno Rokurouta and her husband Hanka Rokurouta, who lived in a large house in the wilderness of the Azian Continent. For the first few months of his life Rag's family seemed complete. His mother would stay at home and take care of him, while his father go on various jobs as a Hunter in order to provide for the family. Hanka was a Pro Hunter, and because of the dangerous nature of his occupation he couldn't care for his son and make money at the same time. This led him to call on the help of Crawford Zaken, his father and a fellow Pro Hunter. The two would alternate hunts so that Rag would always be supervised as a small child, by someone other than just his mother. As Rag grew older, he began to see the work of his family as something he would like to pursue as well when he grew up. Hanka and Crawford gave full support to Bara's interest in hunting and began training him in the basics by the time the boy was six years old.

Unfortunately, after returning home from an especially difficult hunt, Hanka fell into a deep depression and completely lost interest in both hunting and teaching his son. As this behavior went on Rag watched his father's health slowly decline, and within two years Hanka was dead. While he was greatly affected by his father's death, Rag did not let this stop him from striving to become a Hunter himself. Crawford continued to train him to become a Hunter, to his mother up most displeasure.

Rag grew up a very isolated child, with Gokuno dictating the majority of his actions and interactions with other people unless Crawford was around. He knew very little about his father other than what his mother told him and what he could vaguely remember. This caused him to develop trust issues with most people besides his mother and Crawford, which unintentionally worked out in Gokuno's favor in her efforts to isolate her son. One day, Rag explored the attic of his home. This was a place that had been off-limits to him practically since he was born, but with his only company ever being his mother and Crawford, one has to find ways of entertaining themselves. While digging through some old documents in a chest of his mother's, he found something he'd never expect; letters from his father to his mother.

In these letters contained evidence of not only Hanka status as a Hunter and his fate (something Rag already knew), but they also told of his obsession with tracking down a notorious thief known as "The Iron Ram". His father had clashed with the thief several times and devoted a half-decade of his life to capturing The Iron Ram, but finally gave up the obsession after meeting Gokuno. But most shocking of all was that Rag found evidence that his mother had in fact been the true Iron Ram, and had initially pursued Rag father romantically because he was close to bringing her true identity to light. Shocked by what he'd found, Rag confronted his mother with all the letters and documents, hoping she would deny them and explain. Instead, Gokuno met him with fury, even striking him across the face for digging up those papers.

Feeling a new, deep hatred for his mother, Rag ran away from his home, declaring he would follow in his father's footsteps and become a Hunter so he could put his mother in prison for her crimes. Following these events, Rag began training extensively for the Hunter Exam. Due to the pure pressure of his training, he began to quite heavily drink becoming heavily influenced by alcohol for the past eight years of his life.


Reason for becoming a Hunter?:
He wishes to become a Blacklist Hunter and arrest his mother for her crimes.

Abilities:
  • Martial arts: Rag is extremely skilled in martial arts, he often sticks to heavily defensive and counter based martial arts or so he lets on truth be told Rag's true martial arts prowess is his pure offensive power something that he doesn't like to use often. He is what someone would called a mixed martial artist knowing three different types all at a relatively high level but nowhere near what one would class as a master. He is also very versatile thanks to knowing different types of martial arts and depending on his opponents depends on what he uses. Wehn fighting one on one he often uses a more defensive and counters based martial art (In our world the closest to this would be Wing Chun). When fighting several opponents at once he uses a much more mobile and 'powerhouse' style focusing heavily on moving and limiting the amount of his body that can be targetted (In our world the closest to this style would be Choy Li Fut). His third Martial art only comes out whenever Rag is drunk and many would class it as his strongest...if he could remember just what he does he might too.
  • Alcohol: Strangely enough Rag would class this as a strength, he can heavily handle his drink to the point where he can drink most people under the table, however, should Rag drink enough to the point where he becomes drunk he gains an incredible pain tolerance and becomes more nimble and he becomes able to use a drunken martial arts focusing on dodging and rapid attacks. (I think this should be obvious but closest to this would be Drunken fist or Zui Quan).
  • Agility: Due to many years of practicing Martial arts most of which focus on flexibility and rapid movements Rag is rather agile allowing him to dodge and move around effectively.
Weaknesses:
  • Strength: True be told Rag isn't all that strong he focus more on precision and rapid attacks than brute force.
  • Durability: Rag focus on dodging and not getting hit due to this he isn't the type of person who can take many hits unless he is drunk.
  • Alcohol: While he see's alcohol as a good thing being drunk is also bad. When drunk Rag is easily annoyed and brought to anger easily turning on even his friends at the smallest incident.
  • Moral Code: Rag has a moral code he refuses to break, he refuses to cheat at anything and despises anyone that does cheat.
  • Easily amazed: Rad is the type of person who is very easily amazed and when he becomes amazed it takes his brain a few seconds to stare at it in awe often leaving him defenseless.
  • Ranged fighting: Rag is an up close and personal type of fight he cannot fight at range nor does he want to try.

A girl with long ice blonde hair and dark magenta-pink eyes. She smiles often but there's an air of ruthlessness behind it.

Personality:

A girl with an approachable smile and pleasant manners. On the surface, Sterling feels like a simple-minded, extroverted individual. A person you might hang out with but not someone to fear. There are two contrasting parts of her personality. One is joyful and grinning and the other is gleefully violent. She brims with seeming contradictions. An out-going and respectful girl who doesn’t give a shit if an innocent gets hacked down. She has killed before--in self-defense and during duels with capable fighters--and is profoundly indifferent to any suffering she causes. Truthfully, all Sterling cares about is becoming a Hunter in order to track down her brother. A missing person for 2 years who seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet. She’s a zealous advocate of being there for one's family. After all, bonds of blood are eternal.

Rather than strong morals, Sterling operates based on a personal code. A code passed down from her brother. She believes things like a promise being a verbal contract. Running from battle is the same as admitting profound weakness. Loyalty is tied to self-worth. A disloyal person is a bad one. The weight of a human life is easily cast aside. Empathy can be useful but it’s a weakness if it stands in your way. The ability to cut down an opponent is the single most important thing in life. Sterling can go from an easy-going smiling girl to a demon of bloodlust in a matter of seconds. Her self-worth is closely tied to fighting.

She’s not an insane creature who slaughters anyone in her path. Sterling is a friendly sweet person most of the time. Her personality only shifts when she’s faced with a strong opponent or if someone stands in the path of her ambition and must be dealt with. Combat brings out her ugly side. The more powerful the adversary, the lower she needs to sink to fight them. Sterling might admit there’s something beautiful about a blood-soaked battlefield. The dark crimson. The thrill of crushing a strong opponent. The stronger she becomes, the better she can protect her family.

Sterling is a laid-back individual. Rather than planning ahead, she moves on instinct. She lives her life in the moment with no agenda for the future apart from finding her missing brother. Her live and let live attitude is a byproduct of her goal. All she cares about is getting what she wants and anyone is free to do the same as long as they don’t bother her, even if their aim is to maim and murder. Her conscience is squeaky clean and she sleeps like a baby. Sterling hasn’t ever felt guilty for hurting someone.

In Sterling’s free time she likes to read romance novels and cookbooks. Her hobbies include trying out new restaurants and feeding ducks at the local park. Her only complaint is that sometimes the ducks can be overly aggressive and annoy her while she’s reading.


Backstory:

A girl from an ugly, dark corner of Meteor City. As a child, Sterling witnessed the worst parts of human nature. Murder was commonplace. Families suffered from disease and starvation. Sterling’s mother and father were cruel, sinister people—and still are to this day. But they were Sterling's cruel, sinister people and she treasured them. Hell might have been outside their front door, but to Sterling, her childhood home was a sunny pleasant place. Her brother saw to her combat training and that she learned lessons like honor and the pride of a warrior. Her parents guided her with their laser pointed judgmental comments and snide remarks into a fine human being. Everyone in the family was capable of killing without batting an eyelash. They considered themselves a tight unit. Until one day when Sterling’s brother disappeared.

A man with too much skill to die, Sterling concluded her brother left Meteor City for some reason. In order to search for him, she left too. Her parents gave their blessing. Unlike traditional parents, her mother and father were more like spectators in Sterling and her brother’s life, and occasionally mentors. Sterling is on very good terms with them to this day. She traveled on her own for the first time. Sterling ended up killing several men and women who tried to mug her on her way out of Meteor City. Luckily her brother had taught her how to thoroughly clean her blades after staining them with blood.

Eventually, she caught wind that her brother joined the mafia in YorkNew City. It took Sterling months of working at a café to gather the money for a trip there. She received tons of tips as a waitress and the patrons were sad when she announced she had to go. The side trip cost her. By the time she arrived in YorkNew, her brother had vanished again after killing his employee and stealing millions from him.

It was in the city that Sterling heard of the Hunter exam. Hunters have access to information unavailable to regular people. Sterling decided she would try to be a Hunter in order to find her brother. Encountering strong opponents will just be a bonus.


Reason for becoming a Hunter?:

She wants to find information on her missing brother using Hunter resources.


Abilities:

Sterling wields two weapons at once: a sword and a dagger. At the time of her training several years ago, she decided to learn duel wielding because ‘it seemed cool’. One blade can be used defensively while the other gouges into an opponent. Sterling is in peak physical condition, able to flip and jump and keep up with most foes. In her back pocket, she has her brother’s training if she needs it. Sterling is fluent in kicks and using her feet to fight. However, she vastly prefers using blades.


Weaknesses:

Duel wielding means she can’t pull her full strength behind either weapon. It's also difficult to fight in tight spaces.

Basic Info: Levi is . . . Okay, no way to put it softly. He's a coward. He's afraid of pretty much everything and why he decided to even join the Hunter exams is still something to be questioned. But he is a coward through it all, unable to make decisions for himself he'd rather find someone to follow and take after them.

Abilities/Equipment: He carries a sling shot and has perfect aim. He has a multitude of shots to fire, from fire crackers to iron balls, what he lacks in physical strength and capability he makes up in creativity and utility.

Personality:
Like any priestess she is selfless, considerate, and open-minded. But do not take her to be gullible. Hina may allow herself to listen to other's and empathize with them, but she is skilled in reading other's intentions. Although it is mostly through writing that she can discern the type of person the individual may be. Besides being perceptive of others, Hina is rather vague to express her own emotions. Often she is seen as serene and calm, but internally she could be panicking. Which could cause a lot of issues for the woman.

The young lady can become quite clumsy, vulnerable, and timid when she is thrown off her path. This can lead her to trust people a little too easily, plus she tries to conjure an approachable atmosphere. Although she often has an intimidating impression of a face, this worsens when she is irritated or tired. But once she opens up to someone, Hina will do all she can in her power to help them reach their goals or true happiness. She never considers what she desires since her desire is to help others.

Hina's tolerance is quite high for others. She rarely is angered or irritated and when she is upset it does not take long for her to calm down from it. That is if the problem does not persist. Forgiveness is a quality that Hina was taught to always use but it is one that she does not always uses. It usually depends on the individual and their virtues. They do not have to align with Hina's but they must be some that deserve forgiveness.

Backstory:
Even before Hina was brought into the world her destiny as a shrine priestess was already set. The family that held obligations to the shrine conceived three boys before Hina came along. The role and plans for the next female in the Moriya lineage were set in place. So Hina's life from the start was already busy. Her younger years consisted of lessons, training, and practice. She was required to learn the proper techniques for praising the gods, serving the people, and representing the shrine. It was not the life she asked for but it was also not one she hated. In fact she enjoyed the many smiles she would receive from small children up to elders from the duties she performed. Although she enjoyed it all, being a shrine priestess was not easy. There were certain restrictions on the way she could behave and think. She needed to appear near perfect to everyone, but since she was a human that was not possible. Her family saw to it though that she nearly did appear like a goddess.

Despite all that Hina worked to become, the popularity of shrines and spirits were diminishing in the hometown that the Moriya shrine was located in. Not many people sought help from the gods anymore for Hunters were the more popular choice. During Hina's time at the shrine she saw more to ceremonial duties like performing at the local festivals, weddings, births, etc. Due to the popularity of Hunters, Hina began questioning her purpose in life. She yearned to be helpful and devoted to people, but it seemed that the current way she was living was not suited for her. So with a heavy heart she turned to the idea of perhaps becoming a Hunter. After all they invoked the same admiration and love that shrines once had in the eyes of people.

Reason for becoming a Hunter?:
To prove that she is far more capable of other things besides being a shrine priestess, and to find another way to help individuals.

Abilities:

Quite absorbed in herself and whimsical, Carina carries a sort of dainty carelessness for the world she resides in. She takes pride in little and cares even less for the affairs of others. She does, however, grow attached to certain people who hang out with her enough. She unwittingly finds herself following them, although still at her leisurely pace.

Some might think that the girl is naive and gullible, when in fact it's mostly the opposite. Letting others into her little bubble doesn't happen too often, although when it does she wordlessly pledges her loyalty. She never informs people of it, she displays it through her actions instead. The girl herself in generally quiet, although more in the sense that she doesn't often raise her voice rather than not talk. She does talk, but it's mostly just little ramblings to herself. Carina firmly believes that actions often speak more than words, and so she acts instead of speaks in most things.

She hardly ever over-analyzes things, and, in fact, accidentally tends to take them at face value. Nevertheless, this rarely happens with an opponent. She sizes them up, sees most people as a challenge, and gives her all without question. Even if they were considerably weaker than her. It is also incredibly hard to tell what she's feeling, as more often than not, her expression is blank or uninterested. If asked to give her opinion, however, she will be honest. Generally, she doesn't hold grudges and won't hold things over people's heads. She also avoids having to owe someone something, if she can help it, because she doesn't want the same to happen to her.

Backstory
Lived in an isolated, snowy mountain range where people spoke either too often or never. Gossip had always been rampant, rumors spread like the snow on the ground, and no one's reputation was safe. It was like a game, to throw dirt on people's names to make yourself appear better. And Carina wasn't having it. She thought herself more in-tune with the mountains on which she lived rather than those who lived on them with her.

So, she had a little falling out with the people around her. Eventually, people caught on that she wasn't growing up to be 'normal', which caused a huge stir. Her parents were ashamed and embarrassed, and wanted desperately to disown her. Thankfully for them, though, they didn't have to. She did so herself, seeing everyone from her home as animals who had just learned to speak. They ran their mouths like no tomorrow, showing off their 'ability'. And yet, none of them were special. Carina did not want to be that way.

She felt that, to avoid ever becoming like them, she had to remove herself from their clutches. And so she did, venturing off on her own through the mountains, the forests, the hills... She followed many roads along the way, becoming somewhat attached to them. They had a destination, just as she did, and were always there. She kept keepsakes of her favorite roads on her journey, taking a few road signs she had found. That's what she did at first, just collecting them, before being caught in the act of stealing one and defending herself with the sign. She knocked the lady out instantly. That's when it all began, really. She thought the sign just felt... Right, in her hands. Thus, began the years of training with her unorthodox weapon-of-choice.

As she continued on her aimless journey, she heard whispers from strangers on her travels. Conversation, bits of interest. About Hunters. People who were recognized. People, who were clearly more than just talking animals. Without a second thought, she was decided in her goal. She would be above the people from her home. She would be equal with the powerful, the reverent. She herself would be celebrated for who she was, not pressured to fit someone else's standards.

Reason for becoming a Hunter?
Wants to be above the people from her home, while being seen as an equal to those who she considers to be powerful.

Abilities
- Carina is a self-taught wielder of road signs. People have asked her why, and she answers with vague, strange answers that vary constantly. "They're free," or "They look nice..." or "Have you ever been smacked by a stop sign? Want to try it?"
- Because of her years of training with her road signs, she has focused on practicing and enhancing her arm strength. She also can accurately predict where each road sign will hit an opponent, and thus has a good eye for precise hits.
- She's actually proficient in using her shovel, too, although she mostly uses it to dig up road signs that she likes.
- She has trained her legs for jumping, specializing them in that way.
- Endurance; you won't find her exhausting herself for no reason, which means she has energy to spare for most things.


Weaknesses
- She struggles to use weapons other than polearm weapons, or, more specifically, road signs.
- Long distance combat is not something she can handle well. Hand-to-hand also isn't one of her proficiencies.
- Swiftness; she's not very fast, only nimble with her weapon.
- If she misses hitting an opponent, it leaves her open for a few moments.
- She can't block too fast, and so she is vulnerable to swift, consecutive attacks.


Inventory:
- Stop Sign, Yield Sign, Do Not Enter Sign, etc... She actually replaced the original pole with a more flexible metal, thus allowing her to swing the signs with more ease.

Appearance Description:

Tremki is a rather skinny boy with a pale complexion and various notable scars on his body that have the tendency to open quite easily during combat. Despite his rather small height and body-frame Tremki boasts an surprisingly athletic build, making it quite apparent he is a bit stronger than he first appears. Many often describe his physical appearance as quite innocent. He has medium-length turquoise hair that give the impression of bird-feather tips accompanied by a pair of amber eyes. His clothing consists of a long, white coat adorned with numerous black swirl patterns on it with the zipper constantly zipped from his neck to above his navel which he wears with his knee-length white pants which hide 'most' of the scars that have been inflicted on his body. Aside from his physical traits and attire, all of his limbs are locked in a set of heavy steel chains which connect to each limb on his body, hands, ankles and neck which appears to restrict some of his maneuverability.

Many look upon him as the embodiment of a 'demon child' and exhibits many strange or otherwise socially unacceptable habits. Tremki is known to have the tendency to place 'special' names of his own for particular individuals he may find 'interesting', and if one is good at reading between the lines they may also find other, more sinister intentions behind the meanings of the given names. (Essentially he tends to label people he may intend to 'prey' on later.) Essentially, it is widely recognized that Tremki is a completely psychopathic sadomasochist who suffers from multiple mental illnesses that would declare him clinically insane. The most notable being that he is a schizotypal in relation to the strange 'entity' which he may often talk to that has eventually led to him been dubbed with the name 'Tremki' despite his real name being Kaguya, originally believing that he was going to be born a girl.

Over the years, Tremki has adapted a very 'childlike' personality in many aspects. Speaking generally in a sing-song tone Tremki likes to put emphasis on anything he says last and appears to speak in 'third person' almost constantly, (For example; "Tremki wants candy.."). He is prone to throw a tantrum when he doesn't get something he desires and is very prone to try break the rules set in place before him; sticking to this topic Tremki can have trouble following certain orders simply out of 'not liking the idea' and can essentially make him somewhat of a 'bad team player' as he generally doesn't do well working in groups and will even consider sacrificing one of his own in order to obtain a certain kill.. With his disturbed upbringing, Tremki inherently knows very little and has no educational background whatsoever. This means he isn't able to read, write or really even speak properly and will generally show difficulty in anything of the sort. This makes him quite naive about most things as he isn't very knowledgeable in anything else aside from killing. Many also believe this to be the reason why Tremki hasn't risen in the 'chain of command' even despite his combat prowess. His childlike nature showing the forms of his greed for desired possessions - not being particularly interested in things like riches or jewels..Instead if given the choice, Tremki would take a small bag of candy over a larger bag full of valuables. This is due to the fact he seeks out little from the world in the sense of luxuries, instead of living in the large tall buildings he would much prefer to find himself a dark, damp corner within a labyrinth of sewers below. Alongside this, his deep curiosity for the world around him - down to things so simple as small bugs or an ant and his tendency to sing along to nursery rhymes often give the impression that Tremki is still only a child...In actuality this is not true, but merely a product of not only his upbringing but also the alter-ego he takes on, "Tremki". The nature behind this imaginary figure is mostly unknown, however it should not be underestimated how influential it is on the personality of Kaguya (Tremki's real/true name) and the decisions he makes.

- He loves sweets of all kinds, especially candy (in fact he easily influenced by it)
- Generally enjoys all combat situations no matter how chaotic, seeing it all like a child playing in his playground
- His favourite flowers are red roses
- Seeks to witness other magic types and abilities for himself, sometimes even pushing to enforce it
- Dubbing other people with his own personal nicknames, most often birds
- He loves tall tales and other stories, true or false

- Tall buildings, or heights in general (He does have a 'bit' of a fear of heights, though it is more that he just finds it unnatural to go so high in the air.)

~Biography~
Born in an unknown corner of the world, "The Child Omen" is an individual who is known only by folklore spread in desolate areas - the story of a cursed child, born under the most terrible of stars and destined for nothing but dismay. He is rumored to be a monster born from the most horrid of creatures and a fountain of blood, and carries misfortune and sadness wherever he may go. Some might even say the child is not even a human - nor a child. This cursed boy, goes by the name "Tremki Kaguya". Raised under a group of insane cultists, much of Tremki's upbringing and past is obscured in ambiguity, lies and tall rumors that make it almost impossible to pin down any exact events. Only by speculation alone is anyone able to try put together the pieces, assumably being one child of many who were kidnapped for whatever purposes the cult sought them out for. Tremki was the only one of these children to have actually survived all of his tasks & trails and reach adolescence. It is said by Tremki himself, that he was used as a 'vessel' for whatever entity the cult worshipped, the exact reasoning behind this is still unknown - and what entity this may refer to is still unclear and any answer Tremki has given is often littered with riddles and more ambiguity. (Will be continuing)

(Below the bio I will be making short stories over time that will basically go into more detail about everything, and will be used as a means of explaining anything I didn't in the actual bio description and are also more of an optional thing to read I suppose as well, basically the short stories will end up being like a more in depth bio than what I am doing now.)
"The Child Omen"....It is said that under a misfortunate set of circumstances one can be born under a most terrible curse. A curse, which would make them a harbourer of bad luck and fortune. This was a very common belief throughout the isolated areas of the world and this was even more so true for Tremki. For it was said he was born under this sign, and because of this anyone that was unfortunate enough to meet his path would surely be damned. (Need to continue, may alter this around a bit)
