  • With a soft smile always present, her porcelain-like tone always gave Marabel the looks of a doll - if she never moved. Her hazel eyes are often complimented especially when under a sunny gaze making them look golden or amber. Average height, her black hair reaches down to her waist. Colors of burgundy can be seen in direct sunlight.
    While appearing as a nearly perfect woman, it is far from the truth. Beneath the nice, green dress lies scarring and reoccurring bruising. Marabel suffers from vitamin deficiency and bruises easily. Her scars were the result of a monster attack in her younger years.

Physical Description Red hair large burly slab of meat standing 6'1" ft and weighing a colossal 220 pounds of pure muscle. He has a blood thirsty grin and bright yellow eyes.

PERSONA INFORMATION:

Key Characteristics
No key characteristics. I don't like those. Not specific enough.

Personality: Kor is a wild untamed beast, with primal urges. Kor is loud, outspoken and very opinionated. He is a simple man that values strength, honesty, hard work, loyalty, bravery and a fighting spirit. He loathes weakness and believes all lives should fight for the right to live. However he is not a monster that will stand idly by and let someone die if he can prevent it. Part of why this is so is because he wants to help, he wants to be seen as a good person and he craves recognition above all else. Which proves to be a double edged sword as he tries too hard to get attention. Somewhere under his rough and tough can do spirit is a softer passionate man that wants things done properly.

Loud and angry. With fear comes rage and frustration.

Loud and uncontrollable joy. He will pick you up and hug you!

Kor's personal hobbies include sparing, drinking, musical instruments and glory

Likes: Strong alcohol, strong women, strong things and people in general. music, war horns, drums, and bathing. Yes. Despite his barbaric nature, he likes to be clean and smell good. Hygiene is nice, but he also doesn't mind being a lil sweaty/dirty every so often. He's not afraid of germs per say.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Background:

Kor's father was a man named Kar. Kar was also a Beast Caller as well. It was expected of Kor to become a beast caller. Kar was a good man throughout his life. He never did any wrong, and he always went out of his way to help, even if it meant getting nothing or even being worse off for ware afterwards. Many of his small deeds went unrecognized and he would forever be mistrusted. He carried this burden on his scarred back with stride. By the time Kar was 40, he had already looked in his mid fifties. Kor grew to resent weakness in people for this. He still saw his father as one of the strongest people to ever live, in his eyes at least. Now these days, Kar serves as a mentor. Training future Beast callers. He was a very strict man with a strong moral compass, and was the hardest on his own son. Which is why he tries so hard to get recognized. However like many dads, Kar was never impressed and critiqued him whenever possible.

Class - Beast Caller
Weapon(s) - Various leather armors from monster hides with a few pieces of plate armor here and there. His weapon of choice is the theorbo lance. A lance with long strings running down one side of it and the tip, shaped like a treble chef.
Pros Cons;

+ Powerhouse: Kor is extremely powerful and possess great physical strength

- Brute force: Kor lacks grace in his strike as he has no formal training experience.

- Dim witted: Despite Kor's hard work building his muscles, he has weak 'brain muscles' and gets confused in situations that require sharp wit.


Specialty
  • What about your hunter makes them stand out? - Kor is loud, outgoing and shirtless
  • Do they have a signature move, a special potion that no others can create, perhaps a skill? - Conquering step is a powerful thrust that can be used to gain a lot of distance and deliver a powerful thrust. If the opponent is too close, this attack becomes a kick and body slam as the attacker attempts to knock the defender within piercing distance.
Skill Hobby

Tracking: "to understand beast, you must think like beast. Become beast" - Kor

Kor understands how beasts think and knows what to look for when tracking or avoiding beasts. Foot prints, markings, scents, and various other things within the environment.

Blacksmithing: Mostly leather work. Kor can dye and create tough sturdy leather for armor and repairs. He has a few tools that allow him to work with metal, but his metal work is very limited and crude. Oftentimes relying on others for weapon maintenance.

Kor is surprisingly artistic and gives leather armor elegant painted designs.

I feel pretty content with Kor's bio. The backstory feels short. I need to make it long. It might need some touching up, right? Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question. Of course it needs a better backstory.

I'm also not sure if I need to add monsters to this list since he is a monster caller i assume maybe, and also how many to start off with???

El's first impression is one of earthiness and being grounded. He possesses a solid physique, a tall vertical line, and a quiet mannerism. His dirty blonde hair is perpetually mussed, while his blue eyes offer no clues to his real thoughts. For someone with seemingly simple tastes, his choice in out-of-combat gear belies his real preference. The fabric often speaks of subtle luxury, making El look more put together than many of his colleagues.

Beneath his shirt, small scars litter his tanned rough skin, with a particularly nasty one running just above his collarbone from a bad monster encounter. Hunting monsters often meant small prices to pay; El finds these wounds a minimal due.

El was born to a happy match between his father, a local soldier, and his mother, a wandering troubadour who settled down only long enough to raise her children. She left often, but never for long, and always with a new story to share or gift to spare. She was the one who developed his love of art, whether they be oral, visual, or tactile. Frankly, neither of his parents expected a fighter out of him or his two sisters: they wound up with one soldier, one hunter, and the youngest a smith. As El's father became a soldier out of necessity rather than choice, he hadn't expected to have to teach his children the ropes, but life had its own plans.

The town ran low of able-bodied folk as hunters left to pursue bigger prey. Few were left to defend monsters from inching too close. Aelina and his older sister both took up arms, though with different reasons. His sister did it as battle had been her calling from the start; El picked up his sword because he sought to protect instead.

It was this desire that gave him his gravest wound. His sister's fight with a Segben had gone awry; had he not arrived in time, the results could've been much worse. Sheer instinct had him pushing his sister aside and attempting to block what would've been a fatal strike. As it was, it rendered him unconscious with the searing pain while his sister got back to her feet to finish it off. The wound didn't heal well, likely a side-effect of whatever poisonous substance it coats its claws with. To this day, the scar remains prominent against his skin, hard to miss during the few times he's spotted without his shirt.

A two-handed broadsword smithed by his younger sister. Carved into the handle are symbols of protection that his sister added after he decided to continue hunting despite the encounter with the Segben. Despite its heft, the sword is incredibly well-balanced and no one side is heavier than the other. It's wider than most typical blades of its kind.
gear
A metal chest plate created by his younger sister with leather pieces by other artisans. Much of it is engraved or carved, showing clear signs of being taken care of.
accessories
He wears a decorative metal shield across his heart inscribed with more symbols of protection. The tooth necklace he wears is from the Segben, but it's strictly decorative.

pros
A solid fighter with an innate understanding of the flow of battle. He hits hard, and can take a few beatings (though ideally he'd block most of them). Protecting is in his blood; he's able to keep an eye on his teammates even when it seems he's focused on something else. He's best at drawing attention to himself so others can hit the monster freely.
cons
El is not exactly a subtle figure; his gear is heavy and fairly noisy. It's also safe to say he's not a solo fighter by any means, as his swings often leave him exposed and he can't hit often due to the effort it takes to even start a strike.
specialty
El has quite a mastery of the art of using his broadsword as a shield, a style he developed over his years. Han crafted his sword as a direct response to his specifications, hence its unusual width and specially designed grip.

skill hobby
He spends quite a bit of time doing maintenance on his gear, as a lot of it is specialty equipment. Specific oils for certain leathers, what polishes to apply to which alloys - if he doesn't have it, he likely knows someone who does. If he has spare time he'll help out with keeping others' things in top shape.

  • At first glance, Nadia could easily be dismissed as a regular citizen. In many ways, she looks much like a typical middle-aged woman with roughly chopped, mouse brown hair that she keeps in a loose bun. She is of average height at 5'7" (173 cm), has a slightly stocky build, and a strong nose. There is a roughness to her hands that betray a life of labour and a clean vertical scar that extends from her left cheek to neck. Her skin is pale and splotched in parts from rosacea and she has sharp grey eyes set above dark bags.

    Nadia keeps to earthy colours for her clothing, and though they are clearly well worn and patched, they are always kept in good shape. She carries a dart rifle slung over her back and always has a hunting knife attached to her belt.

Age 22 - Male​


  • Aster's visage and frame give off the image of a disinterested grump. With piercing amber eyes that are covered either by hair or goggles and bronze skin that is always covered either by a lab coat or overalls covered in mysterious materials. The young man usually has a sly smile plastered on his face that evokes eerie feelings in others. Although Aster appears to be a frail man, under his clothes lie masses of muscles that are magnified by his tattoos.
