  Eli stands at a whopping 6'6", and weighs 197 pounds, most of which is just from sheer size and muscle. His hair, a mess of black curls that rests on his head, is shaved on the sides and in the back, and the top he lets grow long enough to push to either side. Eli's eyes are startling. Staring into the icy blue orbs for too long could get you lost. His mother told him when he was younger that he had the world in his eyes. Eli has a single tattoo, on his left shoulder blade.
  
  
  Eli carries himself with an air of importance. Not because he believes he is better, but because his job requires him to be in charge. If he doesn't carry himself in a certain way, Eli will be used as a door mat. After awhile, the energy he put off for work became the energy he put off all the time. When he walks into a room, all eyes are drawn to him, and, though he is only 23, Eli rarely finds anyone who could say no to him.
  
  
  You can most often find Eli in a suit, but his casual attire is much well... more casual. He prefers henley shirts with black skinny jeans and a nice pair of Doc Martens.

  Eli is a player. There is no doubt about it. He loves to get it, he can get it, and he has been getting it since high school. He'll flirt with you until you tell him to lay off, at which point he'll dot he respectful thing and simply talk to you normally.

  Eli was adopted by his two loving mothers when he was only a year old. He never was far from those who cared about him, but though he doesn't remember his birth parents, he can't get out of his head the feeling of abandonment. Because of this he has a deep set need for acceptance, and a constant fear of rejection and ending up alone. He reached for that in any way he could, and though he has a different girl in his bed every night, he still has the niggling feeling in the back of his head that he's unloved, unneeded, and unwanted.
  
  
  
  
  Eli met his best friend in high school. Rose was always one of the guys, and though he tried- briefly- for her, she became his wing- woman instead. They were best friends for years until a party near the end of their senior year. Both got obscenely drunk and ended up sleeping together. Rose stopped talking to him then, and their friendship crumbled like ashes.
  
  
  After that, he graduated high school and moved onto college which he graduated with a Major in Businesses and a Minor in Education from in an astonishing 2 years. He began working at a corporate office when he was 21, and slowly worked his way up the totem pole. she had a horrible high school life, but in her eyes, it only made her stronger. as a freshman, she was very overweight and poor. she had to dress in hand-me-downs, and clothes that her mother would sew for her. the only good thing in her life at the time was her best friend, reis. they met in third grade, and were best friends ever since.she was bullied for being unfashionable and overweight, creating the nickname "roach" as a spinoff of her first name. she didnt really have any friends.


everyone either made fun of her, or was afraid to hang out with her because they knew they would get made


fun of too. then, during sophmore year, it all changed.


the moment she got into sophmore year, she turned over a new leaf, she started a very healthy lifestyle of eating only vegan food, and drinking only tea, coffee, and water. she lost a lot of weight from this and from her daily workouts, and actually has quite an attractive appearance now. she ditched her first name and began going by alexis. all these changes also.made her change her personality: she was now the queen bee and the head bitch of the school. this sudden change in her made her and her best friend get in a huge arguement, ending their friendship. her grandmother whom her family had never met passed away, leaving the, boatloads of cash. part of it went to alexis, which has allowed her to get a whole new fashionable wardrore. before being asked to join this gameshow, she's been working as a model for a few different magazines while also attending college.

Adira stands at barely 5'2. A bit short, but she's never really minded. She weighs in at 100 pounds, though she doesn't know this. She has a small bust, and an hourglass shape. Her hair changes periodically, but at the point that she enters the game, her hair is as shown in the picture above. It is naturally curled as seen, and it is rare that she makes any effort to change the texture of her hair. Adira has a small, faint scar above her left eyebrow. You are unable to see this in the picture, but Adira also has a small smattering of freckles below her eyes and across the bridge of her nose.


The general style of Adira's clothing is hipster-esque, though it sometimes veers toward punk or girly. Regardless of all this, she never shows her stomach.

Personality:

Despite her bright, colorful appearance Adira has a bit of a dark personality. If she speaks, which in unlikely, she is often sarcastic and rude. Though she would never go out of her way to be mean to someone, if there is an opening, she'll probably take it. She can also be quite flirtatious, when she wants, and has been known to seduce a man in about five minutes. Much of this is due to her inner insecurities and craving for attention and acceptance. The true her, the one that no one sees due to the walls she's built over the years, is shy, kind, and an all around good person. Every once in a while, or with certain things, these traits shine through, but it isn't often.

History:


Adira was born on December 24, to Jackson Austen and Lea Austen. For the first 3 years, everything was wonderful. Adira was a normal, happy, little girl with brown curls and big brown eyes. She put joy into the hearts of everyone she met. Then, her father left. Without a word, on the day his daughter turned 4 years old, Jackson packed a suitcase, got in his car, and drove away. Neither Lea nor Adira has heard from him since, and Lea got a bit... bitter.


Nothing was ever good enough again for Lea Austen. Her daughter, now entering school, was not nice enough, nor smart enough, and most definitely not pretty enough. As each year went on, Lea's insults toward her daughter got worse and worse, and so did Adira's mental well-being. She strived to be everything her mother wanted, so she studied until she couldn't see straight, she threw up after she ate so she could be thin and pretty. Only her attitude went in the opposite of her mother's lies. The once happy child turned bitter and cold like her mother did. Each and every day, she hated herself more and more, so she got angrier and angrier. She didn't want to eat, but she did, so she threw it up.


Lea decided that America wasn't good enough, cool enough for her and her daughter, so the summer before high school, the Austen family, or, what was left of it, moved to Japan. She soon made friends with a skinny German-Japanese girl named Petra. The pair was odd, the tall, reserved, railway thin girl and the bright-haired, tiny, rude American, but it worked. They brought out the best in each other, and also the worst.


Petra's eating influenced Adira's already bad habits, causing her not only to throw up what she did eat, but what she didn't as well. The mere sight of food, or someone eating around her made the girl want to run straight to the bathroom. It was only when she read an article about a girl found dead in her hometown, her esophagus with holes burnt through it due to near constant exposure to stomach acid that Adira decided she didn't like what she was doing to herself. She broke it off with Petra rather abruptly, after a fight at the end of their high school career, moving back to America without a word. It was much worse, as she suddenly had no support system at all. But then Adira got a bit of help and has accepted the fact that her mother was wrong, stopping the harmful behavior almost completely. She now lives in an apartment in New York City and works as a waitress at a night club near her home.

  Willow is quite a shy and quiet person. She stays in her bubble and doesn't open up very easily. That being said, she's always generally friendly and is willing to help any person in need. Willow is gentle and caring, appearing very soft... but don't let that fool you completely. Through what she's seen, and what she's been through, Will is indeed a tough person and it is very difficult to poke a tender spot on her. But if you're nice to her, she's nice to you, and she doesn't judge anyone on sexuality, gender, or any other identification. Her mood was always heavily affected by seasons, and in her 15th year she went into a psychologist to discover that she was a seasonal depressive.

  As Willow grew up, denim skirts and Cult movies were all the craze. But she never took interest to those things. Instead, all of Will's concern went to her mother, who was always halfway through packing her bags, and her father, who was always armed with a broken bottle to stop her. That was the extent of Willow's own 'craze.' Growing up, all that she knew was her mother, father, and herself. And that little world... wasn't a very safe one.
  
  Both of her parents, Aaron and Dalla, were purely Icelandic. Born there, grew up there, moved from there to America -- No one still ever knows why they'd leave for the States... but that wasn't the point. The point, in fact, was that they were happy in the beginning. Their lives were full, fulfilled, and then they had Willow, and things just went... downhill. Luck seemed to turn against them. Aaron took a liking to the hard liquor from around the block, and Dalla began to really like the speed of trains, and how the ocean looked from their home's windows. Suddenly, that was all they knew of each other. That was all Willow knew, growing up: Dad was a drunk, and Mom wanted to get out.
  
  Eventually, Dalla did get out. 2.30 in the morning, the second day of Willow's Sophomore year in High School, she was awoken by the car alarm blaring an intrusion, then quickly silenced. The next morning, Dalla was no longer Mom. She was gone. Left. MIA. And that left the pair of Aaron, and Willow.
  
  Aaron never managed to get close enough to really harm Willow with his broken bottles. He simply cussed at her, called her names and screamed at her to his own satisfaction until he cut his fingers on spikes of glass and let blood stain the wood floors.
  
  Whenever Willow managed to get out, it was to her best friend's home. There, she was safe, warm, cared for, and loved. Will and Indy were an excitable pair -- they fit each other in the places that the other missed -- like puzzle pieces. They were great... Great, but platonic.
  
  Willow never really had a mind for romance. She never thought about it, could never be bothered by it. She was Demisexual, and that was how she was most comfortable in describing herself. She only had a crush once... but feelings that grew from Indy interrupted, making Willow mad at herself, mad at Indy... it created a giant mess between the two. Maybe she was over-acting, maybe not... now it was time to apologize, though. Sort things out.

  History: Rose was born to a broken home. Her Father left when she was 6, and had to see her mother crumble to next to nothing because of a broken heart.   History: Petra had been living in Germany for eight years before her father Goro was severely injured in an accident while visiting one of the factories he owned. After the accident, Petra, her mother, and her father decided to move to Japan for a while to be closer to Goro's large family. The three of them lived in Japan throughout most of Petra's adolescence; Petra herself didn't mind the change, but she did find it difficult to fit in with her height and loud personality. Slowly, she began making small changes in her lifestyle– she became more withdrawn and studious, reserving her energy just for arguments, and her meals shrunk alongside her hips and wrists. Friends were few and far between for Petra, since to her, they only seemed like a distraction from her goals. High school entrance exams were coming up, after all, and the now 15 year old Petra only had room in her mind for studying and starving.   It was around then that Petra met her best friend. Adira, like her, was a transplant. Small and outspoken in a way that only Americans could pull off without being a nuisance, the pair became fast friends. Petra helped Adira adjust to her new environment, tutoring her in Japanese and showing her new clothing stores and coffee shops. In return, Adira brought Petra out of her shell a bit, and the pair began attracting the attention of the other boys at their high school. Petra, however, had eyes only for Adira. The two of them did everything together for 3 years–including lose weight.
  
  
  Both of them were already thin, but for Petra, competition brought out the "best" in her. She became obsessed with eating less than Adira at every meal– and they ate every meal together. When Adira purged, Petra took quiet satisfaction in the fact that she couldn't possibly be bringing everything up. When Adira confided in Petra that she had lost a pound, Petra made it a point to lose two. It was thrilling for her, finally having someone who understood the feeling of how beingless made you feel like you were more.
  
  
  When they were 17, Adira approached Petra with a grave expression. She had had enough, she told Petra, her jaw set, and she wouldn't keep destroying her body just so Petra wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with her. Petra was bewildered, and tried explaining to Adira that, no, that wasn't it at all, that she cared about her, it was just–
  
  
  Adira would have none of it. She stormed off in a huff, leaving Petra heartbroken, confused, and once again, alone. She never saw her again. Rumors flew around that she had been expelled, but Petra knew that the only explanation was she had moved back to the United States, where Petra was loath to follow. She was once again the undisputed champion of starving oneself, but it didn't mean as much when there was no competition.

  When Petra was 18, her mother suddenly left for Berlin, claiming Tokyo to be "too stifling" for her European blood. Petra didn't understand. She had been able to change for Japan, why couldn't her mother? She was angry for a while, but her mother called often and Petra visited for the summer and winter holidays, so that was that. The visits themselves were a constant source of anxiety for Petra, since with each arrival came tuts and furrowed brows at her increasingly emaciated frame. Petra tried explaining it once to her dad, that she had tried to stop, that she knew she was too thin, but that it was simply out of her control. Eating disorders in Japan were rarely, if ever discussed, and her father was too busy to worry.

Despite the somewhat intimidating first impression he gives to most, Carson isn’t such a bad guy after all. While he does hold periods of time with a blank face or completely forgetting to pour his full and undivided attention into the being he’s interacting with, he does try his best to keep up with the world around him and hold himself in a friendly manner—even if it doesn’t turn out as successful as he’d like sometimes. He claims the only reason he zones out in the middle of conversation is, to put simply, because of his constant habit of daydreaming and too many hours spent at the desk writing away, resulting in calloused fingers, a terrible posture, and constant dark circles under his blue eyes from nights spent pouring his ideas onto paper. Years back, he had often neglected to take proper care of himself and his body, and resulted in him being on the thinner side, of which was something he now took precaution against with three full meals a day, and healthy snacks in between that has been suggested by family.


Carson isn’t what some would refer to as “tall”, standing at a staggering five feet and five inches. While it isn’t short enough to have strangers crane their necks to look down upon him, it’s always been something he’s been self-conscious of, and something he would rather not discuss even in a playful tone. To make up from his lack of height, he takes pride in the fact he’s always been a fast runner. Given this, he had been on and off of the high school varsity track team, and even after graduation maintained the leg muscles—somewhat. On top of his lack of height, he has a scar across his shoulder blade that he does his best to conceal. While very few people know of the scar, fewer know of the origins of it. The scar is slightly jagged, and old enough by now to hold an appearance of being almost white, and runs about a foot down to the middle of his spine. He had gotten the marking in his senior year, straight after taking his uncle’s motorcycle for a spin, only to wind up in an accident that sent him tumbling down a dirt road, burning just about every inch of his back, but scaring only some of the skin as it had been slid across the rocks and bumps.


As for his daily attire, Carson takes pleasure in keeping it modest and undemanding. While most mornings he throws on a solid colored t-shirt, there are a few exceptions in which he takes the time and care to dress himself up properly and in detail. A pair of worn-out jeans, and his attire is complete. Given with the exceptions, he does have a small drawer full of collared t-shirts, pressed and crisp black pants, and a closet of which holds a tuxedo and matching slacks. Aside from his attire, Carson keeps around a favorite baseball cap of his that had been received from his father as a birthday gift, and often wears it when going out of the house.


History:


Carson grew up surrounded by a large family, and along with it constant bickering, teasing and laughter shared with his five younger siblings. The Evans clan hadn’t been one of money or wealth, but abundant in love and adventure into the unknown. Having five little ones to look after, he learned from a young age to take responsibility, and control the chaos that inevitably shook the small home while the parents were away, hard at work to keep the bills at bay. Life had been a constant struggle between caring for younger siblings and battling away at school work, but somewhere in between, Carson began writing. It had started out as a simple game between him and the little ones while the adults were gone, a silly little game at that too. Eventually, as he aged and became more mature, he felt a spark kindle inside him that drove him to continue writing throughout the years of his crazy life, and has stuck to him ever since.





Despite the lack of money and the never-ending wave of bills due, Carson and his family lived a relatively normal in their three bedroom home. School had gone quite well for him, surprisingly, and he found himself surrounded by a good life and good friends. It was one fateful day, in which Carson happened to be strolling through the seemingly endless aisles of the local electronic store that he had met his best friend. He had seen a boy his age trying out a new game on a console, and nerved up to join in beside him wordlessly. Almost immediately, the two thirteen year olds hit it off, right then and there in the middle of a game that had them yelling competitively, that they bonded. While their young minds hadn't fully registered the fact, Carson found himself spending more and more time with the boy, quickly after exchanging names and gamer-tags over night. Over the next years, the boys kept in contact, frequently stormed each other's houses to hang out and chat about life, tease over love life, and play competitively.


However, in their senior year, Henry had began dating a girl. Carson hadn't said much about it, of course, but within time he slowly began swelling with a sense of jealousy, as Henry began to tease and mock him and his lack of love life. Things escalated heavily, to the breaking point in which Carson snapped and fists flew. In the aftermath of a brutal hand-to-hand fight in the middle of school grounds, not only were they both suspended for a week, but their friendship ended in the process. Since the fight, Carson hasn't spoken a word to him, and vice versa.





Personality:


Carson is more often than not referred to as an introvert. While this does not imply he’s antisocial, he simply needs to find the time to be alone and recharge from the constant interaction of his family and friends. Despite the tendency to grow tired of social interaction after a period of time, he is rather outspoken once he gets to know someone, and doesn’t hold back on his opinions and ideas, something that continuously spill out into the open until he can’t muster the energy to do so any longer. His sarcasm is often mistaken for rude comments, but within given time, one will learn he’s a sarcastic creature, and doesn’t ever hold back no matter the circumstance. Carson is a fun going guy, but is distracted on a constant basis, either by the thoughts swirling in his head, or by stuffing his nose inside a book for a day or two. Or spending late night hours at his desk, writing away with his favorite pen. All in all, he’s a nerdy guy that doesn’t have enough time for relationships with friends, and can be overly insensitive to other’s emotions while caught up in his own.

Thomas was born in a family of ten, composed of his mother, father, 3 sisters, and his 4 brothers. His home was rather small and loud do to do much, not many places you could have much privacy at all. That is why - even at a young age - left his home often to get away from the voices of his family. His oldest brother started to move out when he was 12, and for a entire year he had no idea because he never usually seemed to stay at home most of the time. There was at least one person that he seemed to remember and want to see most of the time, he knew how he used to sneak out and do anything really to get out of his house. He ended up thinking something what he would usually deem illogical, that they both would be friends forever. Which followed its correct path where his friends started to go away, and they all separated from him and the bonds weakened as normal friendships do. He never seen Alex's house, just saw him when he snuck out, they didn't really go to each others houses. He, currently is a consulting detective for the cops, helping them out when they are needing help.

He is highly observant of others, sometimes figuring out more than he is supposed to about others, somewhat like how Sherlock from BBC does so.(He calls it "Reading" people) He acts like him quite often, or rather he acts like him since he is a character in a film. He always does not seem to realize that he occasionally upsets people with his accurate deductions about their personal lives, most often delivered quite tactlessly and monotonously. .Thomas has a manipulative streak, and in multiple instances has used this ability to his advantage. He uses his knowledge of people and their weaknesses to his advantage and make him do what he wants to like pawns on a chess board. Although this doesn't mean he does this to everyone, he may not do it to some. Also he thinks best and is able to connect the dots so to speak, when it is absolutely quiet or if there is classical music in the background noise. He has a somewhat dark impression of humor, although some light-hearted humor will get him to laugh or smile.

He is more or less likely the cat that curiosity killed, spending time almost every day in the library, sometimes getting in trouble by losing track of time when reading something that truly interests him.When he is done he will do When he can find something he does not know beforehand he would research enough to have a common knowledge on the subject. He is quite oblivious meaning other than his obliviousness to time when he is reading, he also is oblivious to the emotions of others unless they or someone else tells him, making him a seem a little cold.Although simply doesn't want to spend time wondering. He looks at the logical side of things.   History: Ries was born on a sunny day during a music festival to his Trippy Hippy Parents, and thats where his love for music was born. Ries learned about all kinds of music from his parents, and He learned instruments to the classical Piano to the rock guitar. His dream is to be famous for his music he writes, and his parents were behind his dream 100 percent. He never really had any problems growing up until he went to high school, and decided to start a band with his friends. He had one friend that was always by his side throughout his like and her name was Rocha. They met in the 3rd grade and were thick as thieves. Hitting High School, Ries and Rocha got teased pretty hard. People around him said they would never go anywhere, But Ries ignored them because he had his eyes on the prize. Rocha on the other hand didn't like the teasing, so she started to change herself. Ries thought these changes made her like a stuck up bitch, so he confronted her saying that she didn't need to change herself and that she was turning into a stuck up bitch. But Rocha fought him on it and called him 'a bum that was going no where in life'. After that Ries realized that she was far from gone, so he stormed out on her and their friend ship and haven't spoken since. After High school, Ries and his band played in bars and other sketchy places until their agent discovered them one night, and signed them to a record deal.   Vincent grew up with two happy parents in a middle class family. When he was 5, his mother gave birth to two twin sisters, to the family's delight. However, when he was 12, one of his 7-year old little sisters was diagnosed with leukemia and died six months later. As a result, Vincent got a tattoo of a maple leaf on his back because he and his sister used to go to the park together where a giant maple tree grew. After his sister's death, the entire family became extremely protective over the twin sister and feared that she too would be diagnosed with leukemia.
  
  He attended a local university and graduated with a major in Music Business/Management and a minor in Psychology. He is currently interning at a music production studio to follow his dreams of DJ-ing and producing music.

  Best friends forever. That's what Avalon and Vincent were at one point. They had practically every thing in common, including their love for music. Soon enough, feelings began to develop between the two of them. They freaked out seeing how close they were getting and how quickly they had begun to like each other, so they swore to never date. Vincent decided that he valued their friendship too much to risk getting in a relationship. As a solution, they decided on a friends with benefits relationship for a while, but it didn't work out because of how emotionally attached they became to each other.

History: Hollis' mother left when he was eight without explanation, but even before then she wasn't very present in his life, nor was his father. Most of the time he was in their large family home with a butler and a nanny, occasionally a paid friend would come to play video games with him, but sooner or later, Hollis got bored of them. Once his mother was gone, Hollis' father spent more time at work, a corporate lawyer, and less time caring about what happened to Hollis. So the friends stopped coming and he spent most of his early school years alone until he was in eighth grade, when his father decided a tutor was too expensive and it was time for Hollis to become a part of the public school system. That's when Hollis learned the world was awful. Constantly bullied, the boy made few friends, most of which were only nice to him for his family's large house and nice things, those who weren't his friends, made fun of him for the exact same reason.


One of his few good friends was Zoe. Honestly, she was probably his best friend ever since their freshman year of high school. Hollis never had the fear that they were only friends because of his father's money, she wasn't the type of person that only looked at monetary things. However, the comfort that made them such good friends, also pushed Hollis away from Zoe, afraid that he would get hurt before he could protect himself. So the moment they graduated, Hollis disappeared without a single word to his dear friend.


After high school, Hollis returned to staying home most of his life. He took a swing at college life but found it far too boring, he went through nearly ten majors in a single year because each one proved too uninteresting. Instead of formal education, Hollis has turned to writing mystery novels based off of old unsolved crime cases.
