How many pokemon roleplayers are out there?

Well, apologies in case I fuck up, i'm preety much of a "noob" in this group. But, I'd love to do a pokemon roleplay, but not as a trainer, but using the pokemon itself.

I've always thought it would be cool if we could bump up Pokemon's maturity level. Nothing exciting actually happens in the anime and the games just don't satisfy. What about a Pokémon RP where battles are to the death and it's every man for himself?

^ That sounds like it has potential. Dark, brutal potential. The games satisfy the competitive battler, and just that imo. Everything else, you find in roleplays.


Now, answering this thread... me o/ I'm a Pokemon fan~ Although I'm bored with the ordinary "journey story" and "the bad guys are going to capture *insert legendary pokemon here*! you must stop them, young trainer!". Granted, I'll play a trainer when I'm bored but hey some other story would be nice too.
