Housing

Quinlan63

The Overlord

Player can seek housing in multiple different ways. In most cases for players who have just started the inn that every city has will let any player stay the night for 5 gold. If you are doing well with the gold you have you can pay the inn 500 gold to have a room for a month. This gives you access to store items that you can't carry and at least one free meal that gives a bonus to your HP.

Players that want something more permanent can pay 5000 gold for their own house within any city or village. This is a flat one time payment that will give you full access to the house. With the construction skill you (or someone you hire) can make improvement to the house but not increase its size.

For players far more rich that are not in a guild or wish to have something of their own can buy a Manor for 20000 gold. Owning a Manor gives you access to hire servant at a fixed rate of 500 gold a month. As Manors can be improved through the construction skill, but not increase the size.

Clans have the option to buy Castle for the price of 1,000,000 gold. The clan leader is considered the owner of the castle and is in charge of all development. Castle can hire servants for 500 gold a month, guards for 1000 gold a month, and custom NPC's for 2000 gold a month. Castle can be upgraded by paying or through having a team of players that have the construction skill. Doing this adds higher walls, mounted weapons, a stable, and so much more.

Land

If a player buys a plot of land outside a city for 2500 gold they can build a house and keep upgrading it until it becomes a manor. From that point you gain the same perks a a player that bought a manor.
