Originally rejected for her healer's abilities, Estelle fled her family home near Kyone at a young age. She was raised by the healers of the fort after they found her during a storm. At the age of 22 she met Rose. When Rose announced her desire to visit the mainland to save it, Estelle insisted on joining her.

History: Shadow, along with a few of his friends, were members of The Purifiers, a group of warriors trained to kill demons, undead, dragons, and the like. One day on patrol, they were attacked by The Order, and one by one they were killed off, except for one. He walks around the field, filled with his fallen comrades, and found that his best friend from his childhood was killed as well. In his dying breath, he gives Shadow his twin pistols to use in battle along with his Rapier. As he travels the wastelands, he came across two women heading for Kyone. He joined the group, hoping to find clues to the whereabouts of The Order, so he can avenge his fallen brothers.
