They used to be the perfect couple that everyone envied, but lately, they're only seen looking exhausted and constantly bickering. His drinking problem is getting to be too much her, and his mood swings are dangerous. Deep down they know that their love for one another is still there, and her pregnancy test reveals the unexpected. He needs to fix himself and their love before it's too late.

Having been up for hours, Sophie found herself fully dressed and simply staring at herself in the mirror. Her previous internal debate was whether she was going to put on makeup or not, to which she decided not to. Now, she was questioning just about all there was to question about herself. She wanted to know why her life was full of stress when all she ever tried to bring to the table was peace. Sophie longed for a single day where she didn't have to tell herself that one day things would be better and that one day her relationship with Danny would be restored.


Shrugging off her thoughts, Sophie brushed through her freshly dyed hair one last time before leaving the bathroom. She wanted to check on Danny but something told her it was best to just leave him alone. Though neither of them liked being woken up in the morning, Danny's anger about the situation was much greater than hers ever could be, mostly just when he was hungover. Sophie smiled at the thought of the days when Danny wasn't hungover and she could wake him up and they would spend the day together. Too bad those days seemed to come less and less by the week.


Minutes later, Sophie was sitting on the couch in front of the television simply flipping through the channels. As usual, nothing appealing was on so she went to her go-to; Law and Order -- SVU, of course. Relaxing some into the plush couch, Sophie sipped her morning drink and watched the screen intently, somehow still deeply invested in a case she had seen several times before. A part of her wished Danny would wake up soon and come join her but her other half explained that it may not happen and she simply has to accept that, for now.
