Flee on Sight - The Asura is a ghost among men, an untraceable phenomenon in a world where everything is recorded. He is known only by this name, as a threat to public safety, the security of Neo-London's mega corporations, and the false truths spread to the poor and mindless. Whether he is a hitman who speaks only in the language of currency or a vigilante attempting to uphold justice is not totally clear to the masses. However, it is known that if you see him, he will likely be the last thing you do see. Mystique - As for Masaki himself, he is a pure anomaly -- an eternally different individual in a place of mass conformity and deep similarity from one person to the next. He is recognized in London's database as Lionel Richards. It is unknown how he came about this name, but it is the one he has taken to using, and it gets him through most security checks on the upper levels. Otherwise he is known simply as Masaki to associates who may know him personally or are more low-class informants.

Masaki Sho is an individual who is both confident and strong willed. Being both frank and reasonable, he has zero tolerance for liars and those who are extremely stubborn. Having an individualistic lifestyle, Masaki often keeps to himself in order to keep his relations to others very minimal and their attachment to him limited. While he has little difficulty interacting with others, Masaki has never made friends too easily. His judgment skills are impeccable, allowing him to draw accurate conclusions about people within mere moments. It is for this reason that he doesn't often lend himself to friendship or romance, having no interest in offering false interest towards those who do not interest him in the first place.

He is often labeled as being "cold" because of his tendency to be un-forthcoming, but in reality he is merely selective in his choice of acquaintances. When he does find an individual who does interest him, however, he demonstrates the capacity to be a tenacious friend, or even lover, ready to sacrifice himself for their sake and go out of his way to assist them.

Masaki is very idealistic in terms of his personal goals, seeking nothing less than excellence and perfection for himself. He is a bit temperamental as well, this being masked by his lack of outward emotional expression and generally cool demeanor. In all, Masaki poses a threat to all he comes in contact with, being both cunning and socially capable. His performance is always tactful, and he never lets his inner conflicts grow to the point of hindering him. All the same, he is an irreplaceable ally, having a burning ferocity, and unwavering resolve.

Description:
In his day-to-day appearances, Masaki is an unimpressive individual, easy to look over and miss in passing moments. He appears as a young man would in this day and age, unblemished and with handsome features. He has easy, amber colored eyes, sweet to look at and easy to lose yourself in. His skin, a pale porcelain tone, is very well groomed as well. Masaki has straight, brown, hair and his body is built to last. Toned with only light muscle, Masaki has what some would call the perfect physique; he is both lean and powerful. Still, this decently composed body is not often seen due to the skin-tight suit Masaki wears underneath his clothes. A black suit of unknown origin, it covers Masaki's body from toe to neck and has multiple circular, white, caps along different parts of it that line the body. Due to Masaki's choice of less revealing clothes in his wardrobe the suit is not often seen, but it is almost always present.

Spoiler: Appearance (Asura)

Description:
On the hunt, Masaki takes the form of the Asura. Asura is a nightmarish being with no conscience or humanity, exuding an aura of fear in all that he does, wherever he goes. A skull-shaped mask is strapped to Masaki's face, a piece of advanced technology which allows for a number of feats to be performed. The eyes of said mask glows with a devilish crimson, blinding to the eyes. Over this mask, Masaki often wears a hooded cape, long enough to reach his ankles and malleable enough to not obstruct movement unless deliberately used for such a cause. Aside from the white bandages worn around his arms, Masaki opts for an entirely black attire as Asura. He wears a vest, fitted pants and a pair of military grade combat boots. He is often carrying a number of weapons on him as well, simply a reminder that he has come with complete intentions on murder. It should also be noted that just as he would in a normal appearance, Masaki would always be wearing his suit underneath his clothes when appearing as Asura.

Skills:
Peak Human Condition - Masaki's bodily functions are enhanced to the pinnacle of human conditioning; therefore, his strength, speed, stamina, senses, agility, reflexes, accuracy, longevity, durability, intelligence, healing time, flexibility and combat skills are greatly heightened, but without any superhuman degree. Enhanced Swordsmanship - Masaki is a master with a sword in his hand. So much so, that his skills could even be considered superhuman. His complete control and technique with a sword would allow him to shame even some legends of history. He is strong enough, even as a mere human, to cut a man completely in half with a sword, and fast enough to disarm and or kill multiple assailants within the span of only a few seconds. Enhanced Accuracy - He can achieve nigh-absolute accuracy on distant targets; with the activity in his brain center for aim, accuracy and precision is drastically improved. Masaki needs only to aim for an instant before he can precisely hit a target with a projectile. With skills of this nature, Masaki is almost always guaranteed a direct hit, even if conditions are altered and his strike does not land exactly where intended. Master Martial Artist - Masaki's combat is enhanced to that of the very zenith of natural potential. He is able to take down multiple grand-masters at once with his abilities in Wing-Chun, Hapkido, and Kickboxing, and can learn new martial arts in a very short period of time. He is capable of easily taking down unskilled Super-humans with his skills as well. Hacking Sense - While not exactly a computer genius, Masaki has gained basic skills in hacking and has even created interfaces that make such acts more accessible to a person as lacking in hacking intuition as himself. He is able to break firewalls, open locked doors, and shut down the power source in a building remotely.

Wa-Wa Suit

Spoiler: Suit Appearance

Dubbed the 'Wa-Wa Suit' by English speaking consumers, the suit that Masaki wears on his daily endeavors is of Japanese origin. Mostly unknown to the denizens of Neo-London, the "Heiwa Suit" is a new piece of technology experimentally developed for the use of military personnel in Japan. It is attuned to an individual user and can only be used by that specific individual. The caps of the suit react with the genetic makeup of the individual user of the suit and draws out a minuscule amount of genetic data to alter the substance within the suit and stream it throughout the body harmlessly along with the bloodstream. The substance that powers the suit has nano-machine carriers within it that move through the bloodstream along with it and send out charges that stimulate the muscles of the user and allow them to perform at a superhuman level.

The suit provides Masaki with incredible strength, speed, endurance, and the ability to jump very high, as well as land without any problems. The suit also provides him with an almost impenetrable protection to his body, even to the head, which is fully exposed; large caliber bullet rounds to the face do not leave so much as a bruise. It should be noted, however, that the suit only seems to protect from conventional attacks such as bullets and punches as well as normal swords, but does not seem to do anything for other slicing attacks like from a laser or certain acids. When in full use, the suits' artificial muscles expand, making Masaki appear slightly larger. In this condition, Masaki is able to easily lift over fifty times his weight and jump over 30 feet high. It is important to remember, however, that the amount of damage the suit can sustain is limited. Should the suit receive too many powerful impacts without time to recover, the "caps" along the suit will break, releasing the essential substance that powers it, rendering it as useful as ordinary clothes.

X-Blade
The X-Blade is an energy sword which consists of a slim straight hilt, which houses an energy storage and generation device, as well as the blade projector; that forms a blade of superheated plasma, stabilized by a single magnetic field generator built into the handle of the weapon. This forms and contains the slightly curved, ionized blade for which the weapon is recognized as a 'plasma katana'. The weapon is powered by a small battery that supplies power to the plasma generation device and magnetic field generators which generate and contain the plasma needed to form the blade. Over time the battery is drained, exerted further upon physical contact with other objects until it drains--at which time the sword deactivates until the battery is left to recharge itself or is charged by an outside source.

High cal. Carbine Pistol
A small firearm crafted similarly to 9mm pistols of the past era, this pistol contains full metal jacket rounds that are usually chambered into modern assault rifles. Clipped and refitted for better transfer, the gun uses custom rounds with much greater stopping power than that of a normal pistol of it's size. Likewise, the bullet speed is increased and creates a higher recoil. Fire rate would naturally suffer because of this as well, but these issues hardly serve as a problem for Masaki because of his suit and training.

Hex Device:
The hex device is a coded name for the communications unit Masaki uses. It is more of an interface than it is a specific device, and it is programmed within all technology that Masaki operates. It allows him to communicate long distance without being tracked, makes him invisible to basic tracking units that wander the internet feeds, and also allows him to more easily hack into guarded databases.

Asura Set
It begins with Masaki's mask. It has multiple functions that make Masaki's work much easier on him. For starters; optics: by operating the dial on the left side of the mask, Masaki can cycle through the optical settings for the suit. Managing the dial, the sights are infrared, night vision, and a variable zoom which may be adjusted via another, smaller, dial on the mask. Furthermore, within the eye sockets of the mask is a reflected red light source which flashes perpetually with movement. The light is contained by a thin layer over the eye socket, but meets the naked eye with a debilitating blinding effect, making looking Masaki directly in his eyes an impossibility. The final feature of this mask is in the other dial, on the right side, that is actually a filter capsule mechanism, granting 8 minutes of pure breathing in harsh conditions before the capsule needs to be replaced. By manipulating the dial and turning it back and forth, Masaki can activate and deactivate this feature with instant response. The mask itself is composed of a hybrid metal alloy, heftier than it seems to be. It is highly resistant to heat. giving it a very high melting point, and goes unscathed against conventional weaponry.

Masaki's clothes are basic, military-grade, tailorship. But it should be noted that these clothes are foreign-made, indicating his disconnection with London's organisations. His vest is bullet proof, protecting him from lighter firearms and even more powerful rounds at great distances. The hooded cloak Masaki wears, on the other hand, has no such properties. It is easily penetrated by firearms and laser fire, but is plasma retardant. It will halt plasma fire completely, stopping all but any kinetic force it may carry upon contact. His boots possess a very peculiar feature as well in small jets under the foot that propel him in the desired direction. Operated by a switch system navigated by Masaki's toes, he is able to manipulate not only the level of propulsion, but the precise moment when he wishes for it to activate.

Other Armaments:
While the equipment listed above are the go-to for Masaki when in the field, he is bound to be seen with other weapons on hand. His arsenal may include a multitude of rifles, other sidearms, and he is always carrying smaller blades on his person for basic defense purposes. He is also known for using smoke grenades, basic explosives, and more unconventional tools such as caltrops.

Some might consider a situation like this to be a bother -- to have to prove oneself in the eyes of only another human. What place does one have to take value from something another does? Commonly rationalized under the guise of 'constructive criticism,' our species passes judgement onto one another. It was disgusting to some, that people could be so indiscriminate in their passing thoughts: to place value on a person and deem their worth relative to your time was an inhumane thing to do. Especially if an earnest effort hadn't even been given to comprehend the judged in the first place. And yet, this was exactly what all of us have done ever since we were children. From "grandpa has a weird mole that bugs me so I'm gonna' cry," as a baby; to "Sally just wears a bit too much makeup for my taste," we are born judgmental. But it is radical to believe a society without judgement could not exist. The very act of being able to draw those conclusions is an empowering freedom. It is a commodity integral to the functions of people in their day to day lives. Thus, even if the young man behind his computer screen couldn't locate an old sample of his writing, he'd be urged to show something regardless.

'Impressive'

Yes, that's what this Lucifer person might think. The unnamed male, in his late teens, was good at first impressions. At least, when it came to stuff like this he was. Or so he thought. Jigoku, as he took to calling himself, was an awfully straightforward individual. It was one of his most defining traits. And either it resonated with those he met, or it made them uneasy and more likely to steer clear of him. Fair enough. There was sleep to be lost over something like that. Life would only be more merry if he could so easily sift through the countless people he was bound to meet.

It was one of those mindsets that created a lonely looking person -- the one this user had come to have. But in reality, Jigoku had a decent group of friends that he enjoyed thoroughly. In fact, it was at times like these that he spoke to them. A situation like this was amusing to the mute shadow behind a screen. That was cause enough for it to be shared with those like-minded people that he felt were 'type chill.' And they agreed, it was amusing. Jigoku had no clue as to where any of his posts from back in the day were. So, in a spontaneous act of creativity, he decided to display his skills in language and composition by making his sample all about that very fact. Well, that was the plan initially. But Jigoku started everything off by going on some tangent about judgement and society and them ended up losing where he was taking any of that somewhere around the time he finished that very first paragraph.

"Well shit." Those were the very words spoken in resignation as he realized that his first paragraph was, in fact, dumb as fuck. He might've been inclined to write down that it was irrelevant, but that was too formal for something like this. Likewise, the brown eyed shadow was starting to go down a path that would likely never end. Yes, very much so, when you start to write like this you can easily end up traveling into that void. Thus, he just stopped there and wrote a little note at the bottom.

Kyoya has lived and lead a life of success for as long as he can remember. Since childhood, he has excelled in whatever practice he devoted his mind to. None of it, however, was enough to escape fate's cold grips. Having been born when his parents were young, it was only natural for a younger sibling to follow in his wake. This younger sister was damned from an early age, though, a tumor being found in her brain when she was only seven. Kyoya struggled with emotional stability a lot of his life already, and the fact that his sister had such a short time to live was tearing him apart. An affluent young man, it was hard to accept that all the treatment he paid for would only prolong the inevitable. With no one to turn to, Kyoya found himself facing many sleepless nights and simply wishing away the nightmare that had come to be -- even offering his own life to whatever god would listen. It is for his inability to come to grips with his reality and wishes to run from it that he has been taken into Alterna. Once happy and carefree, Kyoya can not see light in a world where his sister is forced to drown in darkness. The one thing holding Kyoya back from realizing his own allegory is his burning stubbornness.

Reputation:
Approach With Caution - Kyoya's reputation is marked by a tendency for violence and unpunished crimes committed. Though he sees some of his lesser deeds as outweighed by the positive he's brought to some of the different countries in Alterna, it is only natural that Kyoya would be more well known for his worse side. Most would say to avoid the 'King of Lightning' altogether, being that the outcome of such an encounter is so unpredictable, but some know that he is simply a misunderstood wanderer with no true place to be. Of course, this does not stop those who hunt him in the name of glory from seeking to behead the lone samurai.

Personality:
Kyoya is an individual who values dedication above all else; this one major factor about his personality has been present his entire life. He is a reliable and dependable person whom treats everyone he meets with a sense of respect. That being said, he also has an unrelenting anger that for years has managed to remain bottled up. Though, the mere fact that these emotions are kept under locks means that it is just for them to give way, creating a very temperamental state of mind. This leads to Kyoya being the aggressor in situations where there is strife most of the time, his unfiltered voice getting him into more trouble than is necessary. That is not to say that the young swordsman is unsociable as he has, at times, demonstrated personality traits that are amiable, highly comical, and even mischievous. He is generally a kind individual, demanding respect an intuitive mindset which calls for cunning and quick-witted actions that follow through thoroughly.

Kyoya is a handsome man by most definitions of the word, in terms of his physical appearance. His facial features are soft and inviting, his complexion clear of any blemishes and telling a tale quite the contrary to the one Kyoya has lived while in Alterna. A well-defined jawline and thin nose shapes Kyoya's face well. Still, it is hard to look away from those amber colored orbs he has for eyes. They burn with an intensity akin to that of a flame, both cold and passionate at the same time. The young adult known as Kyoya is exceptional in fitness as well, having well defined muscle to show for it. He doesn't show off this fact much though, having a very conservative style of dressing that is highly contrasted by the wild head of hair he usually keeps.

Magic Ability:
Lightning Projection - Kyoya has inherited an ability among some of the most deadly in Alterna. In essence, Kyoya has the ability to control the element of lightning, both through internal projection of the element and external projection of the element. Naturally, as he has full control over lightning, Kyoya is also immune to the ill effects that electricity normally would have on the human body. With such a creative mind as Kyoya's, he has come to grips with a nigh-endless list of techniques with his new-found power. It is to be noted, though, that Kyoya's magical ability does not come without it's limits.

Firstly, he can not project electricity outward without direct contact with an object; namely, he cannot produce phenomena such as lightning bolts and such. He is limited to only generating electricity through an object he has physical contact with, either directly, or via another object he is in contact with.

Secondly, Kyoya can not use his magic to destroy another weapon of magical significance. The backlash for attempting to do so is great, and Kyoya had to learn this the hard way. It would appear that this reaction is purely dependent on Kyoya's intent on destruction, though, making it an interesting limitation on his power.

Skills:
Having been thrusted into, arguably, the most dangerous country in Alterna, Kyoya had to adapt quickly and learn to hold his own. Luck was on his side as he took on the practice of multiple martial arts in his time, and was far from a pushover. He is a Master Swordsman; Kyoya is able to operate with little or no effort with a sword, delivering skillful strikes to weak points with great precision and cutting only and exactly what he wants. He is naturally skilled with a sword and his remarkably fast weapon control may allows him to easily bypass obstacles in order to cut his intended target. Hand to Hand Combat is no foreign practice to Kyoya either. His skills as a student in Karate, Kickboxing, and Capoeira make Kyoya a formidable opponent even when not wielding his weapon of choice. Always known among his peers for his Impressive Intellect. Kyoya frequently exhibits a level of superiority over most in his flawless decision making, ability to defeat foes through pure psychological manipulation, and proficiency in the solving of complex questions.

Raphael's sense of fashion has always been a peculiar one. He doesn't always go out of his way to be the most eye-catching of the crowd, though. Oftentimes he will opt for a casual dress, caught between formal and relaxed. A simple black shirt and a pair of fitted black pants are what he would be caught in under most circumstances.

When in the scene as the performer, Raphael takes the stage with a very peculiar outfit. It is much like what a Jester would wear, with a large tunic over a fitted undershirt, decorated pants and boots that have a curled toe. He also wears arm and wrist bands as he sees fit with this outfit, his hair usually gelled back and face painted with the star and tear to bring it all together. He is not opposed to letting his hair down when on stage though as it is a hassle to get it spiked the way he likes it. His costume is more promotional than anything else as he serves to draw in the crowd as he sees them, wandering the tents defensively.

Personality:
As most would expect simply from looking at the ex-magician, Raphael, he has a very mysterious personality. It is an unforced, natural, aspect of his persona that cannot be removed. From the way his words smoothly roll from the tongue to how his gaze pierces the soul itself, Raphael is never without his mystifying aura. He is a soft spoken man, but asserts himself without hesitation. His tongue is almost as dangerous as he is physically, able to make a person think twice about crossing him with only a few words. Raphael is also known for his flamboyance, attracting attention easily for his confidence and overall peculiar nature. He fears nothing and no one, and seems to hold his tongue only under the circumstances that he is seeking a personal gain from it.

One can only assume that what goes on in Raphael's mind is chaos. He is so intelligent that his actions make him appear to be nothing more than a mad man. There can't be many people that seek the thrill of danger the way that Raphael does, ignoring the prospect of death entirely. Even if there is no danger that is to be sought out, he is seeking a reaction of some sort, easily one of the most flirtatious characters around. No one is free from his playful teasing and harmless winks from afar. He enjoys people to no end -- to find a person's quirks or simply get a reaction out them is like food for his soul. No one can truly say if a person like Raphael is their ally, but he isn't the type to talk behind your back or betray you. He is a playful spirit only seeking excitement.

History:
Born to a fallen angel and a human, much of Raphael's past is unknown, even to Valora whom he knew since he was 16 years of age. Raphael was not the first to join Valora's circus and even left after the first year, but he saw potential. He had come to appreciate the woman's passionate dreaming though and promised that he would return. His life as a part of the underground took him to far off places where his skills were honed more for the purpose of killing than anything else. Raphael served as an assassin and bodyguard for 5 years, accumulating quite the amount of reputation and even wealth. At the age of 21 he walked away from it all. In the beginning Raphael was hunted for the information he knew and the threat he posed, making it difficult to settle into a normal life. He traveled with what money he had, making additional funds for himself with small-time performances. It was at the age of 23 that Raphael heard again of Valora's travelling circus. Having had his appearance changed drastically through physical maturation and the dying of his hair, he went unrecognized by the ringmaster. A short bit of explaining landed him a welcoming smile but his placement in the lineup had been taken by a new prospect. Raphael serves the circus now as their 'guardian angel', protecting against whatever forces might seek to destroy them. Furthermore, he has taken quite the liking to the new Magician of the circus, enjoying the fact that they can share in their enjoyment. of a particular practice.

Strengths/Skills:

Light Manipulation (Magic) - The ability to manipulate light as it travels through the air. Doing so he can change the appearance of surface reflections and the colors of objects, capable of phenomena such as making something appear invisible.

Aura Manipulation (Magic) - Attuned to spiritual forces, Raphael has the ability to manipulate a metaphysical aura that is drawn from his very own life force. Doing so, he has mastered the ability to project his aura onto an object and increase it's killing potential.

Increased Strength (Physical) - His genetics of being a half-blooded angel grant him strength greater than that of most humans.

Master of Conventional Magic (Physical) - Raphael has learned to perform magic on a number of different levels, becoming a specialist in this field. His abilities make his skills appear almost supernatural even without the use of his magical abilities. He is especially professional in the handling of cards, a tool which he has taken quite a liking to..

Increased Athleticism (Physical) - Another product of genetics, Raphael has superb reaction speeds, is naturally very flexible, and can move much more quickly than most humans can react to.

Weaknesses:

- Light Manipulation is difficult to use immediately or on short notice because it requires a certain level of focus to be flawlessly pulled off -

- Aura Manipulation is the most physically draining power Raphael has in his arsenal, making it challenging for him to use extensively. It is for this reason that he opts to use his cards because then this power can be utilized in short bursts. -

- Raphael is completely ignorant to danger. He is aware of the presence of death when throwing himself into danger, but he will bravely take on any challenge regardless. -
