She constantly wants to prove her best mostly by fighting. She's passionate and nice, dedicated to gaining strength. She's patient in regards to her sister and hopes that her style stealing is just a phase.

The Nikos spouses were known to be stern, firm, and unmoving; unwavering in both their tough inner shells, and fierce outer strength. How they ever managed to fall for one another, and succumb to each other is anyone's guess. Perseus sought after Medea, after finding himself struck by her stunning beauty, and passionate intensity. After working with each other, on odd Hunter jobs, the two begun to tear each others walls down, and find a strength in relying on each other. Eventually, their walls completely came down, and they found each other's love.
Perseus was a doting, sweet husband, despite his cold exterior, and Medea was a loving, compassionate woman, despite her unrefined ferocity. Together, they were perfect. Not long after their love was discovered, did they conceive their first daughter, a beautiful redhead girl they named Pyrrha. A girl who would quickly grow into a prodigy of a young Huntress in-training herself, in keeping in line with her parents. They couldn't be more proud. Until, that terrible day at Beacon Academy, during the Vytal festival. A terrible tragedy fell their daughter, that no one saw coming.
After the alarming, stunning death of their daughter, Pyrrha, a Huntress to-be, that showed insane promise, was killed at the Battle of Beacon, both Perseus and Medea Nikos found themselves utterly broken. A new dark blot growing within both of their hearts. The two were a very tough pair of Hunters, that seemed to have ridiculous raw talent. Somehow, regardless of everyone's disbelief, they found a peace with each other, becoming a radiant couple, that others looked to in respect and outward pride. Since that day, however, the two were changed. Gone was the warm, yet sturdy Nikos couple, replaced with a rigid, bleak couple, that were dark, and unapproachable once again.
Their passion was snuffed out. They could not believe it; that their daughter -their daughter would meet her end. They vowed to never suffer such pain again. Thus, years passed, and the two just went through the motions, finding very little joy in their lives as Hunters. Their light was gone, and it was nearly impossible to tell if they even liked each other anymore. Yet, they stuck together, still working the odd job here or there. For years this went on, until finally that changed...
After a night of uncharacteristic weakness, Medea bared her heart and soul to Perseus once again. The pain had been to unbearable, breaking her finally. It had done nearly the same to her husband, to her surprise. At that moment, he was back to his sweet self, and finally cradled his wife once again. Her heart swelled. Then, they fell for each other all over again, and found comfort and solace within each other's embrace. That night, many many years later, the Nikos couple managed to conceive children once again. Children, because Medea was pregnant with twins of all things!
Born to the Nikos couple, Hestia was the older twin to Andromeda by a few minutes. She was a normal baby, if not a bit too excitable, and was a very active child, outgoing and outgrowing her twin slightly. Being taller and more built than her twin and shorter than Pyrrha.
As she grew up she had heard stories of her older sister, a hero, and she was inspired. She wanted to be just like her because in her words 'big sis was awesome!' She began to train with a spear and dropped it since the spear didn't feel right. Then she picked up training with a sword and it felt natural to her. She began to fight, to grow, and to begin joining tournaments, beginning to worry her parents.
She began to join the Mistral Regional Tournament. At first she didn't get far but as years went by she began to win more and more. It was a shame that she had lost recently but that didn't matter. When she was offered a place on the reopened Beacon Academy she wanted to jump at the opportunity but was declined by her parents. She kept trying to convince them until she finally wore them down into letting her go.
