"I had thought that the markers would not only be a renewable energy breakthrough, but a medical one as well. I've never been so wrong in my life. Those things only bring death; anyone that doesn't think that is either one of them already or has already lost their minds, just like those damn Unitologists." -Henry

Age: 29

Personality: Serious when it comes to medical procedures and stuff. Friendly most other times. Practical though. Henry's very goal oriented, so unlike some doctors who would do everything in order to make sure the patient's okay with a procedure, Henry focuses on keeping that person alive. So if the situation calls for immediate amputation, he'll do it in a heartbeat.

Specific personality traits: Friendly, Helpful. Detached (when treating someone), Skeptic.

Bio: Growing up lower middle class on Mars, Henry wanted to be a doctor his whole life. However, he also knew his single mother couldn't afford to send him and his cousin (who was orphaned during the Mars Independence Riots) to college, let alone medical school. Therefore both he and his cousin, Lily, along with her best friend Katelyn, all joined the Earth Defense Force when they came of age in order to pay for their higher education. Happily, Henry got his medical training and started as a combat medic, eventually earning his doctorate degree and promoted to be a combat surgeon, one of the youngest in the program's history. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, Henry lost contact with Lily, who had joined the naval officer program along with Katelyn, and were deployed at the opposite end of Earth Controlled Space. After shifting stations here and there, Henry found himself working at one of the black sites designated by the EDF. Unbeknownst to him, the facility hosted a red marker, and some of the things he was exposed to made him question the cause of the EDF. After contacting his mother and asking her for advice, he decided to not re-enlist at the end of his tour and was honorably discharged. The con of this was that he was dumped on Titan Station, where he set up a clinic to get some money to pay for a trip back to Mars. However, his longing to help people with his skill made making money slow, and he was still there when the events of Dead Space 2 happened. Amidst the chaos of Titan Station, Henry helped another group of survivors get to an escape ship, staying behind to draw the necromorphs away from them long enough for the ship to get to safety. Somehow he ended up getting shot out of an airlock, just in time to see a massive necromorph destroy the other ship. Henry managed to hurt the necromorph enough to grab on to a loose escape pod, and enter it, escaping the station's explosion. It was picked up by a warship a few days later, when Henry's already lost consciousness. He woke up in a mental facility on Earth, and kept trying to explain what had happened, wanting to warn the EDF of what the markers were doing. Still, along with the dementia he now suffered, the doctors considered the necromorphs to be part of Henry's imagination, not knowing what approached them in the future. At this point Henry's considered Lily, Katelyn and his mother to be dead, and is solely trying to bid for the right time to escape the mental facility and leave Earth before the monsters come to consume it.

Additional Information: Due to his exposure to the markers first at the black site then at Titan Station, Henry suffers dementia not dissimilar to what Issac Clarke experienced during his journey on the Sprawl. Unlike Issac though, he intents to fight it, hoping against hope that it can be defeated and that there can be a light at the end of the tunnel.
