Candlelitsoul
The Dreamer
Hello everyone. My name is Laura, but you can call me Candle or Crowsgirl.
I've been a writer since I was 13, but my skills have grown with age and experience.
When I was 16 I started role playing in a Yahoo! chat room and it soon became an addiction. It amazed me how much my brain could come up with in a short amount of time, and how much time I spent creating characters, places, names, anything and everything with which to create a story and keep it going. My longest story ran a year and it was dedicated to a zombie apocalypse, which 5 to 6 different people brought about. It was magic.
I went through three years of hell with an ex who made it out that my role playing was a form of cheating and he would make any story writing a competition so I gave it up. I soon fell back into the groove after it all ended and I'm happier than I have ever been.
I struggle with a lot of health issues; stomach acid mingled with a hiatal hernia (which means part of my stomach is stuck up inside my esophagus) that makes everything burn and hurt more than it should, panic/anxiety disorders which role playing have helped to curve dramatically, a heart condition (which I found out isn't fatal but does cause issues every now and then), PMDD (you'll have to Google it), and small manic episodes that seem to crop up out of no where and I have yet to fully recognize the signs. But I don't let it stop me from doing what I need to do, nor do I let it stop my creativity.
I love to do paragraph role plays (the more descriptive, the better) ranging from fantasy and fanfiction to romance and zombie.
I also do photography in my spare time as well as keeping a fantasy diary on Facebook, and being a conspiracy theorist and activist within Anonymous, (I'm not a hacker mind you. There are more activists within Anonymous than hackers and a hacker would never say that he is one).
I'm just here to let my creativity flow and find people who feel the same.
When I'm not writing till I can't see straight or helping my mother with the house work, I'm usually doing a live stream on Twitch, playing a game on my laptop, or playing The Sims Freeplay on my phone. Anything that helps distract is a blessed relief.
I can't wait to get this adventure started!<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_12/Facebook-20151116-093527.jpg.555db616ee0f8692a44919447e73f2c8.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="94218" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_12/Facebook-20151116-093527.jpg.555db616ee0f8692a44919447e73f2c8.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>
