When is it too late to intervene?
After the gates to Hell were closed in Wyoming, Dean and Sam appeared to have forgotten about them. After all, there was more pressing matters on their shoulders, piled on over and over once again; going to Hell, tensions in their relationships, masses of problems appearing at a time. Nobody noticed that the Colt hadn't locked the door completely, leaving the vaguest crack, which, over the years, has widened to the point where a gentle push is all it takes to release hundreds of demons upon Earth once again. Many see this as an opportunity to weaken the Winchesters - how easy would it be to take out a certain soul from hell and throw wrench after wrench into their slowly simplifying lifestyle? Will a nudge to the lock on Lucifer's cage by pulling Adam out be enough to free both archangels and restart the apocalypse?
As the cases with demons begin to pile up, growing the suspicion over something along these lines happening, hunters from each corner of the US come in to investigate: all eager to get a piece of what made the Winchesters so special in the first place. Though, will any of them live to tell the tale once the gates are opened once again and demons are let loose to wreak as much havoc as possible? Will the apocalypse, with the tampering of a certain King of Hell to Lucifer's cage, be put back into place? Which side do you take?
This RP is taking place pre-Season 8 with Season 2-3 based drama, so a basic knowledge of who dies from Season 7 or just up to season 3 is a pretty good idea for backup. This is intended for original characters, although playing Dean/Sam/Castiel is perfectly fine! Just make sure to fill out the character form to the best degree you can even if you are applying for an already established character, just to make sure that you know the character well.
This will accept around 5 characters, possibly with one or two additions here and there, but too many tends to be a hassle, and even I lose track. Minor characters will be played by someone with an established character of theirs, or, in simpler terms, two characters maximum per person, though it will not be regular.
Rules:
+ No Godmodding! Yes, this is Supernatural and they attempt to play God, but everything has a weakness. If you get shot in the head as a human, stabbed with an angel knife, decapitated; you're dead. (As long as it is agreed upon beforehand.)
+ Explicit death and violence is expected, but, for others' sake, put a warning in your reply please!
+ Swearing it acceptable - go ahead and drop a bomb here and there, but please, don't make it fundamental.
+ Wait for reactions. Don't write "stabs in the heart and runs away". That doesn't work.
+ Grammar and paragraph lengths! If possible, at least one paragraph per page with as many as you like, but since it's understandable that nobody can keep it up all the time, there is a leeway with a 4-5 sentence bare minimum.
+ Make it interesting! Love triangles, secrets, cheating, alliances, twists are all accepted!
+ Have fun!
