While some Dragons can reach up to 10 feet in length, Sunburst is only 5 feet from tail to nose, and 8 feet standing up.

History: Sunburst was born to Damyudius (mother), and Garthes (father). She had a pretty good childhood, and always had an fascination with Mana Crystals. Later on, she began to study the crystals, and how to use them. (Sorry for such a crappy backstory. I just couldn't really think of an interesting enough one)

The Characters I'll be using, Just so you know
Name: Matthew Damian Leovale (responds to Matt)
Race: Human
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Domain: Steam
Equipment: Prosthetic right arm, Tri-Mana Crystal power cell(Fire, Electricity, Earth) hip-mounted, belt-mounted grappling hook launcher, shaded work goggles.
Occupation: Inventor
Appearance: Matthew is about 5'7” with an average build. He often wears a plain white button-up shirt with right sleeve missing, sturdy brown pants with black suspender straps and rough leather shoes. He has shaggy sandy blonde hair, kept back with the goggles he wears on his head. He has crystal blue eyes that always seem friendly and chipper. His right arm is complicated and custom machinery made of brass and steel. It houses most of his tools within its forearm. A larger part of Matthews right side is skin and machinery that has been magically fused to properly support his prosthetic arm. Several black tubes run between the shoulder of his arm to the power cell mounted on his hip.
History: Matthew came from a long line of Inventors, him being 4th generation in fact. He often played in the workshop as a child while his parents created. At a very young age Matthew began to understand that the industry of inventing was consuming his parents, they often never spent much time with him and focused on their work. At the age of 14 his father went missing, the only thing left behind was a note stating that they would never have to worry again. His mother became wracked with guilt, refusing to tell Matthew the reason and eventually going insane. His mother committed suicide the next year, near the time of Matthew's co-founding of The Gears of the Future with his closest friend. Despite his family's collapse due to inventing, he continued to strive, devoted to make the lives of others pain-free. During his 19th year, he accidentally detonated a Mana Crystal, resulting in a dangerous explosion of energy that vaporized almost the entire right side of his torso Including his right arm. Immediately after recovering in the hospital, he began work on the prosthetic arm he wears today. A common motto of his, and a joke between his colleagues, is “We can do it! I can feel it with my own left hand!” He often keeps an optimistic tone no matter what the circumstances, and values his friends even more than his own work. The Gears of the Future currently sells helpful trinkets to the local merchants of Dovahiir's southwestern district, the “Slums”.

Name: Sha'Kaia
Race: Wyvern
Age: 192 (27 dragon years)
Gender: Female
Domain: Metal
Equipment: She wears a small brass necklace. It serves no purpose other then as a memory.
Occupation: Domain Adept
Appearance: A typical wyvern build, yet Sha'Kaia has slightly stunted growth. She is 7'2” feet tall and 19 feet long, with a 22 foot wide wingspan. She is incapable of lengthy flight however and can barely glide, due to a large scar streaking down the webbing of her left wing. She has silvery scales with dusty orange undertones, like rust specks on steel. Her underbelly and wing webs are a deep orange. She has a pair of white horns behind each ear, the two on the left side of her head are chipped and dulled. A scar runs from her dulled horns all the way to the tip of her snout. Sha'Kaia's eyes are a deep, piercing red with black slits for pupils.
History: Sha'Kaia was born in the Mountains of Aelia like the rest of her tribe, isolated from the rest of Theldor and around the dark ideals of the vengeful wyverns. For years, she was taught that the Sun's Garden was theirs and that the dragons had stole it from them. She grew to hate dragons and the races they were aligned with, swearing to kill them when she was old enough to venture by herself. She prepared herself, training from nightfall to daybreak, becoming a decorated warrior. On her 86th year of hatching, her and two others were directed to travel south to a small village to reclaim land. They flew without hesitation, and began to lay siege on the village within days. She personally killed dozens of humans, believing that it was right, justified. Then, out of the sky, 5 enormous dragons attacked her group. Her partners were killed within seconds, and soon she was frantically trying to escape, forgetting all direction. She shook her attackers by flying further south, but only after taking heavy damage to her wing and face. Sha'Kaia took refuge in an old ruined city, where she learned that what her race had taught her was a vengeful lie. Handfuls of scrolls in the city told her the real truth, that she was the enemy, the disgrace. She sulked, traveling aimlessly across Theldor, taking silent ridicule from the other species. Although she felt like she wanted to die, she was glad that no one recognized her as a village attacker. She ended up in the Slums of Dovahiir. Using her mastery over metal, she created anonymous objects on demand for coin, purchasing an old two story warehouse. She live there for almost 100 years uninterrupted, when one day she was approached by a small teen human, holding a bit of coin out in front of him. He asked if he could use her warehouse one day, his eyes gentle but his soul burning with determination. She took his two coins and let him use the bottom floor to do as he pleased, and days later, he hung a sign over the bay door. He called the building “Headquarters” and claimed to be a “Gear of the Future”, making sure to tell Sha'Kaia every detail in his plan. At first, she laughed at his dreams, shooting them down and telling him they would never happen. But the boy would persist, coming to her weekly with a “gameplan”, and even paying her to mold metal for him. Over time they grew close, and one day she heard an explosion below her in the headquarters. She rushed down to see the boy unconscious, his right side mutilated from the detonation of an unstable Mana Crystal. She rushed him to the hospital and fled before the doctors shooed her away, and waited anxiously in the warehouse. He came back days later, bright-eyed and as determined as ever, kneeling at Sha'Kaia's feet and asking her to craft metal for him, promising to pay back tenfold. She agreed, refusing his coin. Day by day they worked at a slow pace, her shaping metal and he piecing it together into a beautiful structure, a prosthetic of the highest caliber. She helped him fuse the arm to his body, using her Domain powers to mold skin and metal into one. And she has been helping him since, every day caring about his well-being and rooting for him to fulfill his dream.

History: Coming from a tribe outside the realms of normal civilization, he did not want the self-made exile of the rest of his tribe. Ambition drove him to create, and the tribe could not provide what he needed to satisfy that. Coming from a small crystal field, he honed his magical and arcane abilities, gaining a great understanding of crystals and their properties, maybe not to the extent of a properly educated crystalist, but damn near. Around his 22nd birthday he arrived at the capital, searching to satisfy his craving for the new and the grand. In the beginning, it was hard looking for work, few guilds would take him for even more than a single contract, and the common man, would see him as too inexperienced, dumb, or blindly ambitious. after about forty years, the Gears of The Future came into being, in need of work and place of stay, and with similar problems with the capital as he did, he jumped at the opportunity to join. The guild leaders acceptance even seeing his face, made Durahiim feel accepted, and grew to enjoy his presence. Durahiim feels great loyalty to Mathew and his fellow guild mates, willing to put both tool, and blade to their defense. Since then, he rarely leaves the shop and works tirelessly to make some thing both he and the guild will be proud of. The current Project is his most ambitious yet, he calls it Leviathan class Augmentation Armor, a suit capable of granting the humanoid wearer the strength and protection to take on a dragon, one on one. Working slowly with all members of the guild this is his masterpiece, their masterpiece. However more Crystalist research is needed, to begin the project, beyond the main forging.

Name: Joseph Arin
Race: Human/Elf
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Domain: Dark
Equipment: Prosthetic left arm from elbow down. A rapier like sword hangs at his left hip. Air mana crystal infused into his sword and an earth crystal in his prosthetic. Because of his crystal being in his arm, he often uses it as a shield.
Occupation: Fighter
Appearance: A thin, muscular man with dark hair that is cut short. Stands around 6 foot. His chest and arms are scarred. His face is angular with thin lips and dark green eyes.. His ears come to a point, but it's a rounded off point. There are several tattoos across his chest, and piercings along his ears. (I'll draw him when I get the chance. Kinda hard with a 2 year old)
History: He's the illegitimate son of an affair between a female human politician and an elf. He doesn't know his father because his mother didn't want him to know. He was raised up as a human kid, learning sword fighting from a mentor. Things got complicated as he grew older, as he began to show more traits of that of an elf rather than a human. He put it to use by becoming a fighter and became his mother's guard. A result of being a guard for a politician, he lost his arm and his mother's life due to an assassin attack. It sent Joseph in a spiraling downward slope until he found out his domain. He plunged himself in it, to pull him out of his depression. He soon used his inheritance to obtain his two crystals and a prosthetic. He became a fighter for hire after this and does odd jobs in order to make money.

Here we go again, buddy.

(Art by WolfRed on DA, character belongs to me)
History:
Litalia was born the smallest looking egg in her clutch, yet was the only one to emerge. Her heart was weak but her kindness unending, wanting to give and take nothing for herself ever. This put her in bad situations often and as the years went by her heart grew weaker. And the day came it failed her as she tried her best to defend some of the smaller dragonets from the larger more aggressive ones. The crystalist from her home came upon her almost lifeless body and took it upon himself to save her, using a mana crystal to create her a new heart; the crystal on her neck. Given new life she took on the role of a domanist studying the life domain in hopes to heal and help all those she could as long as her new life would last.

Name: Fulguriza (Riza for short)
Race: Wyvern
Age: 221 (Comparable to 31 human years)
Gender: Female
Domain: Glass
Equipment: A cloak that has a Sand Mana Crystal set into the closure, and can assume either a dark navy or a light tan-gold.
10 lockpicks.
Two-Ended sword, which is meant to be held in the mouth of a dragon or wyvern.
Occupation: Assassin
Appearance: Fulguriza is a wyvern the dusty color of desert sands. Her claws and horns are a gleaming iridescent blue, and a blade of the same glassy material adorns her tail. Her eyes, gold, have narrow slits for pupils. Her wings have markings that make them appear like her horns, but are only slightly shiny.
((Note: Fulguriza's body is lighter than the drawing suggests. This was first time with my new box of colored pencils, and the only tan was a bit greenish and dark.))
oqcVOIl.jpg

History: Fulguriza comes from a distant desert, where her clan eked out a live in a small oasis. Food was scarce. Once you passed the barrier trees, water was scarcer. There is little contact with the outside world, except for the few daring merchants who come to purchase the Mana Crystals that frequently form there - Sand, Light, Earth, and Glass.
Back then, when she was a whelpling of 35 years, she was taken away from everything she knew but her cloak, a gift from her mother, and a polished fulgurite (or desert glass,) by some greedy traders.
Sold into servitude, she was trained as an assassin. Her master hired her off to others in need of her services. After 100 long years of slavery to that family, she was offered a unique job. Kill the only child the night before he claims the household. Burn the will. With no other family, the property would go to one of the servants. Riza was likely the most qualified.
But of course, the running hatred of wyvern-kind held her back. She received nothing. Not even freedom. Sick and tired of the pain and bounds, she burned the mansion. Fled. Was never seen in that area of the country again.
She wandered. She was sometimes a bounty hunter. Other times an outlaw. Still others a mercenary for hire. One thing was certain, she was rarely in the same place for long.
But then one day, as she sat in a corner of the capitol's market, she noticed one stand. It sold little gadgets and other mechanical things. But Riza was not interested in the trinkets and trifles, but the young man standing behind the shelf. Rising, she strode over to the then younger Matthew, and asked him what he was doing in gloomy place like that crowed square. Not long after, Riza found herself invited to the Gears of Invention. It was impossible to say no to that offer. After all of the pain and trials, a gesture of kindness would of course be treasured.
She has been affiliated with the guild for two and a half years now, and has served as a guard and spy. She does not know what the future holds for her, but she hopes that it was better than the ages of misery she has endured.
